Adelie is a very small but very able coastal cruiser. Some may ask what makes one 14' boat "ocean capable" and the other one a coastal cruiser or a day boat for protected waters?
I stumbled accross the Adelie 14 in a post in a Yahoo boating forum. It looks exactly like the small, solid cruising sailboat that I have been looking for. I live just outside of Boston, MA and eventually want to do some cruising along the New England coast, stopping into sheltered harbors at night.
Adelie 14. by anonymous » Mon Jul 28, 2008 8:32 pm. Just a question per your wording about the Adelie 14, your statement reads; " She will recover from a full roll over very fast: her high profile cambered deck makes her very unstable upside down.
