TALITHA (ex TALITHA G) is a historic 80m (262' 5") classic motor yacht built in 1929 by Krupp and reconditioned by Devonport with interior design by Jon Bannenberg. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins in glorious luxury and elegant style.
NOTABLE FEATURES: ~Jacuzzi ~ Card room ~Elevator serving all decks ~Bar ~Piano ~Open fireplaces ~Large swim platform ~Very large selection of water toys ~Stabilization system
A lot of attention to detail has been paid to her interior which is a combination of exquisite art-deco features and modern systems and functionality. It retains all the charm of the 1930s with a lovely salon and bar, open fireplaces, a luxurious library, antique bronze skylights, a card room, use of rich myrtle, mahogany and oak veneers as well as inlaid marquetry throughout. There is also a central elevator that serves all decks.
Her decks are large and unique and offer guests multiple opportunities for relaxing and getting together with loved ones. The funnel deck includes a secret viewing point and there is a cushioned bowsprit hammock as well as a lounging spot in the fan tail aft of the main deck. The upper deck offers guests a Jacuzzi aft of the alfresco dining area as well as a saloon and bar. The main deck also offers a sun lounging area and superb seating for all to relax.
Talitha remains the epitome of the classic motor yacht as she sails on past her 80th anniversary. Meticulously rebuilt in her entirety in 1994, she offers all the charm, polish and style of a classic London hotel. Incomparable standards of service with the very latest technology on board mean that superyacht Talitha offers her guests the perfect cruise.
TALITHA began life in 1927 on the drawing boards of the distinguished naval architects Cox & Stevens who were considered the leading yacht designers of their day. The yacht was launched in 1930 as MY REVELER. During 60 years, she changed name and owner on regular basis, until in 1993, after considerable reconstruction at the DML Devonport shipyard in Plymouth, UK, and with a design by Jon Bannenberg, she emerged under the present owners in her present incarnation as MY TALITHA G, then named TALITHA. Since then she has undergone numerous smaller refits, repairs and paint finishes, including a completely new wheelhouse installed in 1999 but her shape and interior layout is essentially unchanged in 12 years.
The current owners enjoy the yacht and have invested heavily in her, keeping her maintained structurally and cosmetically to a very high standard and ensuring that she is completely up to date with her navigation, communications and entertainment technology. Today, 75 years after her maiden launch, it’s fair to say that she’s in the best shape she’s ever been.

'...total originality in yacht design has become more difficult to attain following Jon Bannenberg’s masterful levels of creative daring.' - “I don’t want to lead everything back to my dad — but it’s well known and accepted that, whether it’s his big round windows, or certain lines, or a way of treating wings on a superstructure, they all inspired many people and I think that’s fair game. I think all people’s design processes, whether subliminal or not, are recalling something — whether it’s something that’s stirred, or triggered something, or sparked an idea, or an unintentional homage to someone.” - Dickie Bannenberg talks of yacht design and his father Jon Bannenberg's groundbreaking work.

Superyacht TALITHA Available For Summertime Charter In The Mediterranean

By Oliver Pearson 20 June 2016
Currently available between 14th and 21st August, the 80m/262ft motor yacht TALITHA presents the perfect opportunity to visit destinations such as Corsica and Sardinia this summer.
Originally built in 1929 and assuming a number of attentive owners before receiving a comprehensive refit courtesy of Bannenberg & Rowell in 2008, TALITHA is unquestionably one of the most distinguished superyachts available for luxury charter vacations .
Inspired by the spirit of the 1930s, she includes all of the amenities necessary for a classic yachting experience- from open fireplaces to a lengthy dive platform, she is as eminent as she is entertaining.
The classic feel of the motor yacht isn’t limited to her opulent interior, but can also be felt when boarding via a fittingly styled tender.
With a week in August currently open, TALITHA presents the chance for charterers to enjoy one of the most refined destinations on board an appropriately sophisticated vessel.
Integrating a range of modern luxuries with the spirit of a bygone era, superyacht TALITHA is fully primed for wholly unique charter vacations
The sundeck of luxury yacht TALITHA creates an atmosphere which perfectly suits her charter grounds.
Indeed, with a generously sized swimming pool amidships, and an abundance of communal spaces to sunlounge, not a single luxury has been overlooked.
What's more, with numerous service elevators located in various points, getting meals and drinks served could not be easier, making alfresco dining an absolute joy.
Nicely stocked with toys and diving gear, she also keeps the more adventurous charterers satisfied with waterskis, sea bobs, and an inflatable water slide guaranteeing hours of fun out on the water.
The interior of superyacht TALITHA is similarly outstanding, with an authentic Art Deco inspired theme running throughout the dedicated spaces.
The main salon is a masterclass in colour and furnishings, for instance, and is expertly primed for playing games or socialising over a few drinks.
The main dining continues such elegance, with a deep red finish creating a subtly formal ambience for enjoying finely prepared dishes in.
As might be expected, simply navigating TALITHA is a treat in itself- taking in all of the dark woods and carefully selected artwork makes getting from one place to another a truly memorable experience.
Comprised of a single master cabin, two doubles, and three twins, TALITHA is capable of accommodating up to twelve guests with an attendant crew of eighteen.
For further information regarding M/Y TALITHA, please get in touch with your preferred charter broker .
