For supercar addicts, Lamborghini ’s Raging Bull badge has a prestige value that surpasses just about every other automotive marque. Who can forget the iconic Miura   and   Countach , for example, or fail to recognize the outrageously aggressive styling and high-pitched roar of a 12-cylinder Aventador when it looks like a blurred shadow passing on the highway?

The company has long produced big-block marine engines for offshore powerboat racing, but in 2020, it announced a collaboration with Tecnomar, part of The Italian Sea Group, to transpose the Lamborghini spirit into a ferociously styled, high-speed motoryacht.

The first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 (the 63 references the yacht’s length in feet and Lamborghini’s 1963 foundation) is now in the water. Robb Report was able to experience the yacht’s thrilling performance firsthand during an invitation-only event at Tecnomar’s Tuscany-based shipyard.

“What we didn’t want was to simply have a car on the water,” said Mitja Borkert, director of Lamborghini’s Centro Stile. “It would have been very naive to just take the car shape and put it on top of a hull. It had to be supremely clean and classy.”

”One of the biggest challenges was maintaining a very low profile like the cars, because on a yacht you need a certain amount of headroom for comfort,” adds Gian Marco Campanino, art director at The Italian Sea Group. “It was a balance between making everything as light and sleek as possible, but also robust and vibration free.”

A trademark Lamborghini motif is the distinctive hexagonal shape of its supercars when viewed from the front or rear. This has been subtly reproduced in the angled hull windows and open transom of the yacht.

Other features on the 63 reference specific Lamborghini models: The two leather pilot seats are adapted versions of those in the Huracan Evo with Sparco racing seatbelts; the helm is based on the steering wheel of the Aventador (minus the paddle shifts and air bag); and the verde gea paint job is the same as the new limited-series Siàn FKP 37 , powered by hybrid technology. Even the dashboard graphics and aviation-style cover on the start/stop buttons are the same as the cars.

While the hull is made of fiberglass for strength, the carbon-fiber superstructure is designed to keep the weight down and center of gravity low. Under the aft sunpad are a pair of gleaming MAN V12 diesel engines, 2,000 hp each.

When combined with a slippery hull form and surface drives, they provide a top speed in excess of 60 knots, making this 63-footer one of the fastest yachts in her class. At a cruising speed of 40 to 45 knots, she burns around 100 gallons of fuel per hour for a range of 360 nautical miles.

High speed usually means a bumpy ride, yet despite a stiff breeze that was kicking up three-foot waves during a test run, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 ran close to her redline speed, with no slamming and minimal vibration. She also proved a very dry boat: at the end of the trial there was hardly a drop of seawater on the windshield.

The 63 was designed to be a fast day boat or weekend cruiser. Behind the helm is a dinette and galley station, pop-up television and rear sunpad. Belowdecks is a forward master suite and guest cabin with twin single berths, both with sporty, carbon-looking trim and gray-and-yellow leather upholstery that carries Lamborghini’s automotive style to the water.

With a base price of about $3.5 million, the performance yacht is aimed at Lamborghini’s existing client base. The Italian Sea Group was reluctant to say exactly how many units have been sold to date. It did confirm, however, that available build slots through 2022 have already been reserved.

Lamborghini Tecnomar 63 yacht: Raging boat

First example has been delivered, 2022 production sold out.

A year after being announced, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 express cruiser is in the water with its first owner. The co-creation of Lamborghini Centro Stile and Italian boat maker Tecnomar, the water-borne speedster makes the most obvious nod toward the limited-edition Sián FKP 37 introduced in 2019, but gathers cues to the automaker's entire history. The Verde Gea paint matches the Sián's launch color . The helm seats come from the Huracan Evo and are fitted with Sparco seatbelts. The steering wheel, minus airbag and paddle shifters, migrated from an Aventador , the gauge cluster behind sparkling with graphics recognizable from current Lamborghinis. The throttle levers mimic the shift selector in the Urus , the same fighter-plane-style cover hovering over the engine start button. The windows, meanwhile, channel the hexagonal shapes that have ornamented vehicles from Sant'Agata Bolognese since 1963.  

Oh, the irony that the heaviest and most powerful Lamborghini ever created fits into the ultra-lightweight class, a segment never graced by one of the automaker's cars. A weight-shaving carbon fiber superstructure slides into a glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) hull to keep weight down to about 53,000 pounds. Two MAN V12 diesel engines — MAN is another Volkswagen Group brand — work together to blow 4,000-hp bubbles into the water. They get the Tecnomar to a top speed of 60 knots (69 miles per hour). Burning about 100 gallons per hour at cruising speeds between 40 and 45 knots (46 and 52 mph), there's enough fuel to run for about 360 miles. That's long distance moving .

Occupant spaces include the galley and dinette behind the helm, and sunpads on the fore and aft decks, that latter one with a pop-out television. Accommodations below deck are dressed in leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber, with Y-shaped motifs most familiar in Lamborghini lighting signatures. There's a master suite forward, its bed overlooked by a sunlight shaped like a Lamborghini badge, and a guest cabin with two twin berths. 

There will be just 63 Tenomar for Lamborghini 63 cruisers built, and we know one of them has already been spoken for by UFC fighter Connor McGregor . Reps at Lamborghini and Tecnomar wouldn't say how many of the roughly $3.5 million craft have been sold, but they did admit that production through the end of 2022 is sold out.

What I expect to hear is the deep thunderclap growl of a Lamborghini supercar. But what emerges from the 20-metre Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is a much more elegant and refined sound. It is a gentle purr – although it still offers the familiar bone-tickling thrill of hearing a powerful machine come to life.

• Highways to the high seas: The coolest yachts by car designers

As I learn at The Italian Sea Group headquarters in Marina di Carrara, there are in fact many recognisable supercar-esque elements that the collaborative team from Lamborghini and Tecnomar (one of the group’s brands) thought to add to the design. The exterior look – inspired by the £2.5 million limited-edition Sián FKP 37 hybrid car – comes with sharp edges, sculptured lines and geometric patterns that convey Lamborghini’s distinctive style. As I stand in the presence of both the car and the yacht, they look like the ultimate partners in crime.

After all, the Sián FKP 37 car was built to be a rule-breaker. Meaning “flash of lightning” in Italian, the Sián comes with an electric system that works in unison with a V12 engine that can deliver 785hp at 8,500rpm – the highest ever power output from a Lamborghini, triggering speeds of more than 350km/h. With this kind of muscle and a fine knowledge of weight-to-power ratios and aerodynamic surfaces, it’s no wonder Lamborghini relished the opportunity to pour their experience into a triumphant new yacht project. “It was an exciting challenge to design for the water,” says Mitja Borkert, head of design at Automobili Lamborghini. “We have the strongest design DNA in the automobile world, and here we have been able to transport the language of Lamborghini into the future. The feeling of being on board is a great emotion.”

He’s right – but the emotions are not, perhaps, the ones you might imagine. Having stepped on board, the initial impulse is to make oneself at home. That’s certainly true of the owner’s young child, who has already taken to leaving small footprints over the swish suede-look seats. Using the soft, durable Alcantara microfibre material means those on board needn’t worry about watermarks, spilled drinks and stains. “We worked hard on maintaining a strong focus on usability and liveability,” says Gian Marco Campanino, head of design at The Italian Sea Group, who is also on board. This perhaps explains why the yacht seems so well-suited not just to the young family who owns the first unit, but also to thrilling day trips and laid-back weekend cruises with guests.

The soft material runs through the interior – even along the walls – chosen in a custom dark grey by the owner, with hand-stitched leather seats and the usual mod-cons hidden away neatly within the aft seating area. For those sitting on the sunpads or around the height-adjustable coffee table under the protective hardtop, the television rises up from the backrest at the push of a button, and the integrated galley station is useful for quick refreshment. Below deck, the dark and handsome accommodation comprises a spacious and comfortable master suite forward and a twin cabin joined by a shared en suite. This formation of rooms is what the owner chose to fit the family on board, but alternative layouts are available.

While crawling out of the marina there is the occasional rumble from the engines – a reminder that the best is yet to come. As we reach open water, it is time to open up the throttle. At this point I decide to hold on to one of the Italian leather handles for dear life – but it’s unnecessary. The early purr of the engines merely transforms into a louder whir and the drum of the waves against the bullet-shaped hull is barely felt at all. “The hull rides on a cushion of air at planing speeds,” Campanino explains as we gather speed. Later, he tells me more about how the GRP hull and carbon fibre superstructure keep the centre of gravity low and the weight down to 24 tonnes. “The hull is 18ft wide [5.4m], made from composite material with rear wings and a three-step drive. It has all been made to improve her performance.”

The team behind the boat intended the driver to feel like a fighter pilot – and they seem to have pulled it off. I watch the captain confidently push the throttles further and soon we are feeling the full force of the 63 knot top speed. At this velocity, she needs to be fed 480 litres of fuel per hour, but when toned down to around 40 knots, her optimal cruising speed, she requires half that fuel.

Designed in the style of a car cockpit, the yacht’s helm completely integrates the navigation and control systems. The graphics and fonts on the screens here are the same as in the cars, Borkert says. “And it is all finished with Lamborghini’s Carbon Skin – even on the sports seats and the steering wheel,” he adds. Impressed, I point out that after our zig-zag route across the bay, barely two drops of seawater have splashed aboard. She really must’ve flown. After the ride, it is much easier to appreciate how the design, concept and engineering work together so well. And a fair few other Lamborghini fans seem to agree: although the yard will not confirm how many units have been sold, there are no build slots available until after 2022.

“We all know there is a strategic fit between super sports cars and fast superyachts,” says Stefano Rutigliano, Lamborghini’s strategy director. “At Lamborghini, we wanted to expand the brand and work with a yard with a good reputation, product range and financial solidity.” Well, everything seems to be going to plan. This time, the idea for a car and yacht crossover has amounted to something seriously special: the first Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht is turning heads, generating plenty of orders and giving builders like The Italian Sea Group brand new ambitions.

Prestige Marine has announced that the very first Lamborghini 63 Superyacht built by Tecnomar is now docked in Miami. A tribute to Lamborghini, the powerboat is one of just 63 that will ever be built.

Commissioned at Italian Sea Group’s state-of-the-art production facility near Sant’Agatha Bolognese , which Lamborghini calls home, the yacht was designed especially for its new owner. The client, a fan of the automaker, consulted with his friends and family throughout the commissioning process to create this wild yacht.

Borrowing design cues from the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 , the yachtmaker incorporated hexagonal shapes and sharp corners in the design of the boat. A hardtop sunshade provides protection from the sun, while simultaneously recalling the roofline of a supercar and its Y-shapes lights come straight from the Sian.

The yacht is powered by twin MAN V12 engines that make 2,000 PS (1,491 kW / 2,028 PS) a-piece. They propel a yacht that is relative featherweight in its class, thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber. Tipping the scales at 24 tons, the engines are capable of getting the powerboat up to a top speed of 63 knots (72 mph or 117 km/h). That’s not the only reference to 63, the year that Lamborghini was founded.

“The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is one of the most unique yachts in the world with its uncompromising design, performance and handling. 1963 is the founding year of Lamborghini, so that number appears throughout,” comments Brett David, CEO of Prestige Marine, which imported the yacht. “And with that, we have a 63-foot boat that has a top speed of 63 knots, a total number only 63 being built, all paying homage to Lamborghini’s original starting date of 1963.”

Brought into the U.S. by Prestige Imports, the company has long worked with Lamborghini, as well as a number of other exotic manufacturers. Opened in the 1980s, the company claims it is responsible for shaping the supercar marketplace in South Florida .

“For decades, Prestige Imports has sold the Lamborghini brand here in Miami and South Florida,” said David. “We are honored to welcome the first custom Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 here to North America.”

A Look Inside Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63

In May 2020 the ultimate collaboration was formed between The Italian Sea Group and Lamborghini which led to the birth of the now famous “Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63”.

With the Italian Sea group renowned for being one of the largest and best yachting groups internationally and Lamborghini as supercar legends, the addition to the Tecnomar fleet is a guaranteed head turner.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht almost has the feel of a spaceship from the movie Tron rather than that of a luxury yacht.

The futuristic shapes and materials embody the feel of any other modern Lamborghini vehicle.

Entirely developed by The Italian Sea Group, the design inspiration was heavily influenced by the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37 , a perfect blend of technology and comfort.

While using the same materials that are normally used in Lamborghini cars, the perfection and attention to detail are highly evident in this masterpiece.

Although it was mainly designed for quick day trips, the yacht is also ideal for weekend getaways as it has a spacious master suite and a twin guest cabin.

The rooms are stylish and comfortable and have perfectly maximized use of the 63-foot length.

The Italian Sea Group art director, Gian Marco stated that the biggest hurdle was maintaining the sleek low profile of a sports car while ensuring there was enough headroom for comfort inside however the final result has perfectly struck the balance between the two.

Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is as the name suggests, 63 feet in length (20.42 meters), the length also is significant in that it is a tribute to the year that Lamborghini was founded – 1963.

The yacht has a width of 5.4 meters and weighs approximately 24,000 kilograms (24 tons).

Powered by MAN 24-liter twin-turbo engines, her diesel tanks can hold 3,600 liters of fuel and she can reach speeds up to 60 knots with a comfortable cruise speed of 40 knots.

With an impressive 3,945 horsepower, Tecnomar for Lamborghini is the fastest in the Tecnomar fleet with the ability to reach a range of 210 nautical miles.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63’s carbon fiber superstructure was designed to maintain a low center of gravity while minimizing the weight of the vessel to ensure optimal performance.

The hull has been designed to minimize vibration while comfortably cruising at 40 knots even in less-than-desirable weather conditions.

Her streamlined structure and futuristic modern design are sure to make for the center of attention out on the water.

Currently, the Tecnomar Lamborghini 63 is worth €3.1 million which is similar to its car counterpart.

To date, Lamborghini has been reluctant to say how many of the yachts have been sold, however, the model has been well marketed with the help of Connor McGregor who purchased one in May 2022 for his 34th birthday in Ibiza.

The First Lamborghini Yacht Has Arrived in the US

The first Lamborghini yacht has arrived in North America. In 2020, the Italian supercar manufacturer announced a partnership with Italian superboat manufacturer Tecnomar to produce a limited run of luxury yachts for the global marketplace. Now, the first of these finished boats in the US is waiting for its premiere customer at a dock in South Florida. 

Dubbed Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 , its name carries a variety of different connotations: The boat is 63 feet long, it has a top speed of 63 knots (which translates to around 72 mph on land), and only 63 of them are being built. This number isn’t random though—it’s an easter egg of sorts, pointing to the year 1963, when Ferruccio Lamborghini founded his namesake car company. Each of the roughly five dozen yachts has a starting price of around $3.5 million—and this is before the inevitable optioning-up with custom colors, materials, trim, and other individuated flourishes. Delivered through Miami-based Prestige Marine , the dealership tells AD that more Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 s are on the way. 

The yacht is fitted with a sleek design common to the luxury car brand. 

Of course, it’s the boat’s signature Lamborghini design elements that truly stand out. Aboard the luxury vessel, you’ll find hexagonal patterns on the interior and exterior, Y-shaped headlamps from the marque’s Sián supercar, a jet-fighter-like cockpit, a pair of racing-inspired seats at the helm, and, of course, V-12 power. However, unlike any production Lamborghini supercar, the Techomar features two of these motors, each of which runs on diesel fuel, and produces around 2,000 horsepower.

This is not the first foray into the nautical realm for Lamborghini. In 1968, five years after the founding of his eponymous car company, Ferruccio Lamborghini commissioned a wooden boat from famed Italian shipbuilder Riva and equipped it with a pair of 4.0-liter V-12 engines from his signature sports cars. Later, the marque produced an outrageously potent 7.2-liter V-12 marine engine for use in powerboats. In the 1980s and 1990s, this motor was occasionally shoehorned into the brand’s equally outrageous LM002 , an absurd super-SUV produced in limited numbers, which acted as the precursor to the brand’s current best-seller, the Urus SUV .

The Lamborghini-Tecnomar yacht joins other similar, limited edition, high-end boats produced by exclusive automakers, including Aston Martin , and Mercedes-Benz’s go-fast subsidiary, AMG . These ships are part of a larger initiative among luxury carmakers to create branded lifestyle experiences everywhere their customers may desire to be, including the creation of residential towers by the likes of Aston Martin , Bentley , Porsche , as well as homewares and furniture from Bugatti and a full line of fashion clothing and accessories from Ferrari.

The interiors offer plenty of space for entertaining. 

Not to be forgotten within this context is the full line of Lamborghini Tractors , the first vehicle company founded by Ferruccio back in the immediate post–World War II era in Italy and still in production today. We’re quite certain there is not one large enough to tow this superyacht, but the cross-branding opportunity still seems irresistible.

What’s in a number? For the Lamborghini yacht, it’s all about the number 63. Most obviously, the yacht is 63 feet long and has a max speed of 63 knots on the water. Why? Because Ferruccio Lamborghini founded his car company in 1963, and this boat is nothing if not an ode to those iconic supercars.

As a final flourish, Tecnomar will only make 63 of these limited-edition yachts. Originally announced in 2020, the 63 made waves a year later when hull number one of the supercar yacht was delivered to renowned (or perhaps infamous) Mixed Martial Arts fighter Conor Macgregor.

The boat is styled to closely resemble the Lamborghini Siàn supercar, with big and small elements reminding you of that all-important fact. Lamborghini fans will need no reminding, but the $3.3 million Siàn is also a limited production masterpiece, with only 63 being built.

But this is no simple branding collaboration between luxury goods companies. Lamborghini’s design team worked closely with Tecnomar , a boutique yacht builder of the Italian Sea Group. Everything from the aesthetic design to performance and handling was tuned to feel like a Lamborghini.

Lamborghini 63 Design

It’s obvious that the Lamborghini 63 yacht is unlike anything else on the water—in fact, that’s how it’s designed to be. This yacht was the brainchild of the famous Italian supercar maker, and they partnered with an equally notable yard to create their one-of-a-kind superyacht.

Lamborghini DNA is everywhere on this boat . From the outside, the angular lines and hexagonal shapes are obvious. But that’s not where it stops. Look closely, and you’ll notice that the stern line chocks look like Lambo exhaust pipes, the bow and stern lights look like auto lights, and the air vents look like they’ve come right off the car. There are integrated LED accent lights throughout and hexagon-shaped grab handles.

Step up to the helm, and you’re in for more Lamborghini treats. The steering wheel and dual start/stop buttons are right from the car’s dash . The instrument panel is made to look just like the car’s, with the same fonts and layout. To complete the feel, the pilot’s chair is right out of the Siàn.

But these aesthetics are meaningless if the boat doesn’t drive and feel like a Lamborghini. To achieve that, Tecnomar ensured that every yacht component was carefully planned to benefit its performance . While the boat is full of features befitting a watercraft of this size and class, this is truly a performance boat.

Working from the engine compartment forward, the designers measured and weighed every component. The result is an everything-you-need, nothing-you-don’t approach that keeps the weight down and the speed up.

Even the toilet seat is made of carbon fiber to cut weight, just like Conor MacGregor cuts weight for an MMA fight.

The boat has a gyro stabilizer and a generator, but only smaller models. There is no bow thruster–this is done to shave weight. Instead, Tecnomar uses a joystick controller on the dual engines for effective maneuvering, similar to pod drive systems.

Weight savings are at the heart of this 24-ton yacht. Its weight might seem like a lot to car fans, but it’s extremely light in the world of 63-foot motor yachts. No expense was spared; for example, the entire hull structure and all components are made from carbon fiber . Faux teak is used in place of the real thing, not only for the modern look but to keep it as light as possible.

The engine compartment is another unique feature of this vessel. Where many boats consider the engine room a below-decks affair, the Lambo yacht brings its dual V12, German-built MAN diesel engines front and center. Each engine produces 2,000 horsepower thanks to its dual wastegate turbochargers and common rail injection system.

Powerful as they are, these beastly engines are also thirsty drinking up 400 liters per hour each!

The access hatch, which comprises most of the aft deck lounge, lifts on hydraulics to provide an expansive view of the vessel’s inner workings. The engine room is a sight to behold, much more like looking under a Lambo hood than looking at a yacht’s engine room.

Lamborghini Boat Features

The overall design and aesthetics of the boat are clearly of Lamborghini’s caliber, but what about the small touches? Those notes of class and luxury make you know you’re sitting in, driving, and owning one of the most amazing automobiles on the planet—can those little touches be replicated in a yacht?

Throughout the boat, the owners completely customize colors and materials with the Lamborghini Ad Personam program . If you already have your Siàn, you can make the yacht match it precisely. Carbon fiber skins, leather, and Alcantara are used throughout to mimic the luxury automotive interior you’d expect.

On deck, the central helm—or pilot cockpit, as Tecnomar calls it—dominates the cockpit area. Aft of this is a small galley area with a fridge, then a large dining table area, with aft and forward-facing benches built around a hexagon-shaped table.

The entire area is protected from the elements by frameless side windows on the gunwale. A large carbon fiber t-top overhead has a skylight and full front windshield to keep the 63-knot wind out of your eyes.

Aft of this is the lift-up engine cowl, which is a large sun pad lounge. The forward deck features another large lounge pad. The anchor locker is completely hidden under an access hatch on the bow.

While the deck layout remains constant, three layouts are available for down below . Interior accommodation can be set up with one cabin, two cabins, or a lounge version . The single-cabin version features a large private stateroom with a king-sized berth at the forward end of the boat.

There is a walk-through galley to starboard and a head (bathroom) on the port side.

On the two-cabin version, a second small cabin has two single berths that can be connected to make one double berth. The same king-sized master berth is forward. Hull windows provide plenty of light in both staterooms.

The lounge version is unique. With an open design concept down below, the yacht is appointed with large sofas and a wardrobe. It features a day head for guests and a private head for the owner.

Supercar Yacht Amenities

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini yacht is full of supercar-inspired small touches that stand out . Carbon fiber, suede, and Alcantara fabrics line the boat from stem to stern. It’s sometimes challenging to find where the obsession with weight-cutting ends and the luxury begins. Does the carbon fiber toilet actually help this yacht move faster, or is it just a classy reminder that you’re on a Lambo boat?

But you likely don’t need reminding. The Lamborghini badge is mounted on the prow and stern quarters. You’ll also find it embroidered on the helm seats and the walls of the owner’s cabin. The Y’s and hexagons, so closely associated with the Lambo design, are placed everywhere. Even the portlight above the master stateroom is shaped like a Lambo hood badge.

But, while the yacht’s amenities are beautiful and the fit-and-finish is superb , it is not the most luxuriously appointed yacht you’ll find. The galley is basic; the dining and living spaces are sparse. You won’t find large appliances here, like refrigerators, freezers, or standard marine cookers.

The simplicity of amenities comes down to its purpose built performance profile. Nonetheless, there’s not questioning the quality of the trimmings.

True to the boat’s automotive heritage, this vessel can zip from port to port with speed and comfort. Ideal cruising speed is around 40 knots (46 mph). Once in port, however, you’ll dine in the fine restaurants and maybe even stay at a top-tier resort. The accommodations of the Lambo boat are sufficient for spending a night or two on board, but they’re not on par with a blue water yacht that you’ll want to spend day after day cruising on.

Lambo Boat Price/Quality

The price tag of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 has been listed for anywhere between 3.4 and 4.5 million US dollars. A lot of variation has to do with the amenities and customizations chosen by the owner, which can drive the price up considerably. Introductory pricing in 2020 was also slightly lower than what you’ll find listed today.

The quality of the Lamborghini yacht is unmistakable and second to none. From its design aesthetic and use of the best materials and components available, this yacht is a work of art and a collector’s item.

It also fits the need for a super fast super yacht—its 63-knot top speed puts it on the short list of fastest motor yachts. And it will be the talk of the marina, no matter where you go.

In short, the Lambo boat is one of a kind and worth the money if the brand aesthetic and speed are what you’re after.

But, as with the Siàn, the Lambo yacht is not the right yacht for most people. Yachts aren’t cars, after all. No one buys a Lamborghini to sleep in or take long road trips. A yacht should be about overnights, luxury meals, entertainment, and long cruises.

If you want to get there fast, make a memorable entrance, and start the party, the Lamborghini 63 by Tecnomar might be just the boat for you. But if you want a useful yacht that can cruise farther and more comfortably, there are better options.

What's more, Lamborghini also includes a division that produces 8.2-liter V-12 marine engines for powerboats and many luxury runabouts and small yachts, like those built by Riva, are powered by Lambo engines.

So it's not surprising to see high-performance yachts pop-out from time to time with a Lamborghini mill under the "hood." One such example is the Tecnomar 63, a luxury yacht designed and built by the Italian Sea Group and Tacnomar for Lamborghini. It's inspired by the company's road cars, it features massive Lambo power, and it's incredibly expensive.

Just like the road car, this yacht boasts an angular design combined with hexagonal styling cues, as well as Y-shaped headlamps, a Lamborghini trademark. It also features a big amount of carbon-fiber, as well as a dashboard based on the Sian FKP37.

But by far the most impressive feature is the fire power. Just like the Aventador and other Lambo supercars, this yacht packs V-12 power. But it has nothing to do with the 6.3-liter V-12 you can find in the road cars. Instead, it's using a pair of 24.2-liter V-12 diesels that generate 2,000 horsepower each . That's a total out of 4,000 horsepower, more than five times more than the Aventador SVJ.

Weighing in at 24 tons, the 63-feet-long yacht reaches a top speed of 60 knots, which is the equivalent of around 69 mph. Granted, that's nowhere near as fast as a Lambo supercar, usually capable of more than 200 mph, but it's pretty fast for a yacht this big.

Fitted with all the luxury features you'd expect to find in a state-of-the-art yacht and the finest materials out there, the Tecnomar 63 costs a massive AUD $4.88 million, which converts to around US $3.4 million as of July 2020. Lamborghini’s New Temerario Supercar Is a 907 HP Hybrid Beast

After a decade, Lamborghini is finally ready to say goodbye to the Huracán .

The Italian marque unveiled the new Temerario on at this year’s edition of Monterey Car Week. Unlike the long-running supercar it’s replacing, the latest Raging Bull has a hybrid V-8 and front-wheel drive.

Yes, the Temerario is a departure of sorts for the automaker, but it is also very clearly a Lambo through and through. It shares its name—which means fierce and courageous—with a famous fighting bull from 1875. It also features the same wedge shape that’s been one of the company’s trademarks since the Countach.

The Temerario can stand on its own, though. Hints of the Huracàn and the Revuelto may be present in its design, but the newer model is sleeker than its older siblings. It has razer-thin lights up front along with hexagon-shaped running lights, large air ducts on the side panels and just behind the windows, and a rocket ship-like rear end dominated (again) by hexagons and a giant diffuser. Rounding things out is a staggered set of wheels, 20 inches up front, 21 inches in the back. It looks aggressive and dynamic, as all Raging Bulls should, and like it will have little problem cutting through the air. The lightweight Alleggerita package, which includes several carbon-fiber elements, including a larger rear wing, also increases downforce by 158 percent.

The hexagon motif carries over to the interior of the Temerario. The cabin is larger than on past models, with an additional inch of head and legroom. Up front you’ll find not one, but three screens—a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an 8.4-inch central infotainment display, and a 9.1-inch touchscreen for the passenger. The décor, meanwhile, combines several different premium materials, including carbon trim, leather upholstery, and suede accents.

The Temerario, like the Revuelto and updated Urus , is a hybrid, or in Lamborgini’s parlance, a high-powered electrified vehicle (HPEV). Its powertrain includes a totally new twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 and a trio of electric motors (two of which are located on the front axle, one on the rear). The mid-mounted mill may have fewer cylinders than the V-10 found in the Huracán, but it still produces 789 hp and 538 ft lb of torque by itself. Add in the extra power from the oil-cooled, axial flux electric motors, which is an additional 150 hp and 221 ft lbs of torque, and you have a total output of 907 horses. With all that power at their disposal, drivers will be able to launch from zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 213 mph, which makes it 1 mph faster than the Huracán.

The Temerario’s hybrid setup gets its juice from a battery pack with a 3.8-kWh capacity, just like the one that powered the Revuelto’s system. Although the range is not provided, Lamborghini notes that the supercar can be driven in full electric mode. In this mode, the vehicle operates in front-wheel drive, which, Motor1.com points out , is a first for a Lamborghini. When the ICE engine is in use, it has all-wheel drive.

We’re still waiting to find out when the Temerario will go on sale and how much it will cost. The expectation, right now, is that deliveries will begin later this year or in early 2025. The outgoing Huracán starts at around $300,000, so it wouldn’t be a surprised if the new model costs the same, though some outlets have suggest pricing could reach up to $400,000 .

At The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering during Monterey Car Week 2024 , Eccentrica unveils its V12 hypercar, a modern twist on the classic Lamborghini Diablo. The San Marino-based restomod manufacturer already has a similar hypercar in 3D printed titanium , but this time around, the restomod hypercar is fully drivable. From the aesthetics to the engine, the Eccentrica Lamborghini nails the ’90s vibes and era, starting with its 5.7-liter V12 engine.

It comes from the original 1990s Diablo model, and t he difference is that this restomod can produce 550 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. That means the vehicle can speed away with boosted power and speed. The car’s engine has been paired with a new, custom-built six-speed transmission. This new setup includes updated gear ratios, so the car can perform better and more efficiently. There are only 19 models available for this version, each of which can be customized by the owner. Eccentrica says that the first deliveries will begin in the summer of 2025.

Restomod hypercar with v12 engine for more horsepower

Unlike the original Lamborghini Diablo, which didn’t have power steering, the Eccentrica V12 restomod has an upgraded power steering system that makes it easier to handle for modern driving. There are new parts in the engine such as the camshafts (which control the engine’s valves), an electronic throttle (which handles the engine’s power), and a refined flywheel (which helps the engine run more smoothly). These updates give the car 55 more horsepower than the original engine, making it even faster and more powerful. It can now reach an estimated top speed of 335 kph (208 mph), which is 10 kph (6 mph) faster than the original Diablo.

Technical upgrades turn up within the Eccentrica V12. Composite materials help strengthen the restomod hypercar’s chassis for a strong and lightweight frame. The vehicle also has a double-wishbone suspension system, which can maintain the hypercar’s stability, especially when driving fast or turning. Some advanced shock absorbers, called active dampers, are in place too, made by a company called TracTive. The driver can adjust these shock absorbers to three different settings, so they can choose how stiff or soft the ride feels. There’s also a front axle lift system that helps the car get over bumps or steep driveways without scraping the bottom.

The Eccentrica V12 Lamborghini Diablo features an exhaust system. The company Capristo has developed it to enhance the revving sound when driving the restomod hypercar. For stopping power, the car uses a high-tech braking system from BREMBO. It includes unique matte-painted brake calipers, the part of the brakes that clamp down on the wheels to stop the car. Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires fit in well in the vehicle, which offer better grip on the road, especially at higher speeds. It also has new custom-made 19-inch wheels made from aluminum alloy for a lighter, larger, firmer, and more controlled driving experience.

Inside the Eccentrica V12, the cockpit retains the retro-futuristic style of the original Lamborghini Diablo, giving the interior a vintage look but with the latest technology. The upgrade also shows up in the steering wheel, dashboard instruments, and control surfaces, and there’s also a new digital infotainment system for the control center, music, navigation, and more. There’s also a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror, and the restomod hypercar comes with an audio system made by Marantz for a custom-designed, high-end sound experience. So far, the delivery of the first Eccentrica V12 Lamborghini Diablo is scheduled for the summer of 2025.
