What is Glenn Shephard's net worth? A look at 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' star's salary and love for travel

Glenn Shephard

Captain Glenn, a native of Montreal, has always been driven by a desire to travel the world. He was offered to serve as a deckhand aboard a 50-foot classic sailboat early in his travels and was immediately enthralled, never looking back. Glenn knows how to keep his calm while catering to the über elite, with over 21 years in the industry and 12 years as the Captain on Parsifal III. Until his limits are strained, this laid-back Captain remains cool. Captain Glenn joked in one recent interview that Parsifal III's first mate Gary King was his "nemesis," who will also be appearing in Season 3. "I can't seem to get rid of him, so I spend pretty much every day and night with Gary." He also hinted that he has found love recently, teasing viewers with the news that "there is a particular woman that I'm kind of chasing."

Marcos Spaziani

Marcos enters the galley with over ten years of industry expertise, eager to wow the charter guests with his exceptional culinary talents. He went to culinary school in Venezuela and has since travelled the world, learning from some of the top chefs in the world.

Daisy Kelliher

Chief stew is back. Daisy Kelliher is regarded as a legend in the sailing world. Her grandpa competed in the 1964 Olympics for Ireland as an Olympic sailor, and her parents — as well as numerous aunts and uncles – were yachtsmen. Daisy has a lot to live up to when she returns to Parsifal III after a successful previous season, and you can always depend on her to tell you what's on her mind and let her hair loose to have a great time.

Colin MacRae

Colin MacRae, a seasoned sailor, spent 13 years as a Chief Engineer aboard superyachts before joining Parsifal III for his second season. Colin is more than willing to provide a helping hand wherever he is needed, and he does so with a huge heart and a mischievous smile.

Gary's 12 years of experience shows in the way he manages his deck personnel, having commanded smaller boats and run the deck on numerous busy superyachts. He commands his department with an iron grip on the one hand, yet he is never the first one to leave a party on the other. He has a naughty charm about him, but his flirting lands him in trouble both on and off the deck.

Gabriela Barragan

Gabriela, a surfer girl from sunny San Diego who's now a jet-setting yachtie, is thrilled to be joining Parsifal III. Gabriela is an experienced crew member who has worked as a stewardess and a deckhand for the previous two years. She is ready to provide five-star service to demanding charter passengers.

Ashley Marti

Ashley Marti, a stewardess from New York, relocated to sunny South Florida to pursue a life on the beach. Ashley chose to pursue a career in sailing during the epidemic and has never looked back. She's travelled the East Coast of the United States and the Bahamas since then, and she's looking forward to further adventures onboard Parsifal III.

Kelsie Goglia

Kelsie got bitten by the travel bug after a sailing vacation in Croatia, and she quit her corporate desk job to work on the deck. Kelsie is a genuine explorer who enjoys spending time outside, especially in the ocean, so it's no surprise that she spends her offseason in San Diego. Kelsie is ecstatic to contribute her tenacity and dedication to Parsifal III.

Tom Pearson

Tom was raised on a lake and enjoys being in the water. Working on the deck was a natural fit for him because he spent his days on the lake in speed boats and participating in water sports. Tom, a self-described social butterfly, enjoys meeting new people onboard, but will his quest for a crew romance get him into trouble?

Season 3 of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' will air on Bravo on Monday, February 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3: next episode, trailer, cast and everything we know

Bravo’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is underway and the only thing calm may be the water.

Chef Marcos cooking on Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 is here, and Captain Glenn Shephard is back to balancing the demands of vacationers with the drama of his crew. And let’s face it, in most instances, the baggage of his crew far outweighs the luggage of any guest.

This season takes the show to the waters surrounding Menorca, Spain. The breathtaking views only serve as momentary interruptions to the hookups, the confrontations, the injuries and the occasional emergencies of the new season. Given the interesting dynamic that already exists between returning crew members like Daisy Kelliher and Gary King, the addition of a new chef, new stews and new deckhands make sailing anything but smooth aboard the Parsifal III.

Here’s what we know about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3.

When is the next Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 episode?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premiered on Monday, February 21. New episodes continue to air on Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo TV in the US. Episodes are available the next day in the UK on Hayu , which can be included as part of a Prime Video subscription. Additionally, Peacock via Sky TV or NOW TV also offers next-day streaming for Bravo content.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back with the first part of the season 3 reunion airing on Monday, June 27, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo. After a tumultuous season full of drama and love triangles, it will be interesting to see what the cast has to say to one another when they face off.

By the way, have you read why fans are grossed out by Ashely's grilled cheese feast ?

What happens on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew having drinks

Viewers of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 will recall that the last time the crew was together, first mate Gary King was involved in a messy love triangle with deckhand Sydney Zaruba and stew Alli Dore. While fans of the show won’t have to worry about seeing King in a continuation of that love saga, based on the trailer, King will again find himself entangled in a romance. It appears he entangles with chief stew Daisy Kelliher of all people. While the two appeared to make amends at last year’s reunion after feuding all season 2, no one expected the two to be locking lips.

Additionally, it should be noted that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is done with love triangles, as Bravo TV teases this season fans can expect to see a “twisted love pentagon.” More may not turn out to be merrier in this case.

Fans of the show will also remember that Captain Glenn Shephard and his crew were involved in an accident during season 2 . Season 3 shows how Captain Shephard has been able to bounce back from the incident while also trying to avoid another potentially disastrous event.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 cast

These members are joined by chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, as well as deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

Who's leaving Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

It looks like everyone's favorite Below Deck chef is calling it quits. Marcos Spaziani recently took to Twitter to announce that he has no plans on returning for another season.

I want to thank everyone for the big support and great comments. I never thought in my life I would bring so much inspiration to so many ppl and for that I’m very grateful and also blessed! But I can’t go back to the next season. #BelowDeckSailingYacht #belowdecksailing pic.twitter.com/CLTmtLV7yP June 1, 2022

Big Brother Star Zach Rance's Cry For Help Shows The True Dangers Of Reality TV

New fraud lawsuit against mauricio umansky’s could completely ruin his career, dancing with the stars fan favorite witney carson to return to the ballroom for season 33.

On the fourth episode of the third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , charter guest Erica Rose is back with her mother Cindi, and her new husband, Chuck. "He's the first person I've met who's worse than I am," charter guest, Rhett, remarks, as Chuck continues to throw a fit about Marcos' food and the conditions on the pristine yacht. Marcos' crew mates calm his frustrations with Captain Glenn suggesting they humor the guests and adhere to their exact wants and specifications. Spoiler Alert: The rest of this article contains spoilers from Episode 4: 'Oopsie Daisy'

The Charter Guests Bring The Drama To The Beach Picnic

As Chuck continues his unfounded tirades, the crew mates prepare a beach party for the charter guests. After Cindi recruits someone to take her picture for Instagram, guests bring to the crew's attention a smattering of self tanner that Cindi's left on the white couch in the common area. However, while it's noted that the blemish is Cindi's, neither crew nor guest will admit it.

At the beach, Chuck seems to have a momentary attitude change, telling Daisy the food is great and defending his attitude saying, "I think I'm just a grouch in the morning." As the table discusses how Chuck's attitude would fare elsewhere, Erica's hairdresser, Janelle, and her husband, Rhett, agree that Chuck is unbearable. Overhearing their snarky comments, Chuck takes a not-so-private pass at Janelle, prompting Rhett to warn chuck, "I will f*ck your world up."

Marcos Injures Himself Preparing For The Decades Dinner

Back on the ship, Marcos convenes with Cindi and Erica to plan the night's dinner menu. Deciding on a buffet of spicy tuna crispy rice, spaghetti marinara, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach, Marcos comments that the night's dinner is "a nasty menu combination." Then, it's sails up for the ship, an experience which Chuck notes as "overrated."

Down in the refrigerator looking for broccoli, Marcos hits his head as the boat heels, slicing off a piece of his scalp . Captain Glenn calls on a doctor who comes to take a look at Marcos' wound. Much to Captain Glenn's satisfaction, the doctor declares the gash superficial, and Marcos is free to continue preparing dinner.

Chef Marcos Wrapping His Head Injury Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3

While the guests, along with invited crew members Captain Glenn and Gary, ready themselves for dinner, charter guests Janelle and Rhett brace themselves for an evening of Chuck. While some guests and crew members dress for the decade, Cindi emerges from the cabin dressed as Marilyn Monroe. During a complaint-less dinner, she even serenades Captain Glenn with a Marilyn-inspired "Happy Birthday," song that leaves Gary in hysterical tears.

The Guests Shirk The Crew With Their Tip

It's finally the morning that the Cindi-Erica guests are leaving, and the crew could not be more relieved. Daisy and Janelle share their thoughts on the insufferable Chuck, parting ways amicably. Captain Glenn tells Cindi that the guests will have to pay for the bronzer stain on the couch, an act she committed but maintains her innocence for. As the guests stroll off into the sunset, the crew prepares to clean the ship and breathe a sigh of relief.

Captain Glenn convenes the crew for the tip meeting. He notes Daisy's performance during the charter, complimenting her leadership skills. However, Captain Glenn shares the news that, while the crew did a wonderful job during charter, the tip offered "doesn't reflect the quality of service." With that, he tells the crew they've received a lump sum tip of $6,500 . To put that into perspective, the average tip is upwards of $20,000. Dismayed let glad to be rid of their nightmarish guests, the crew members prepare for a night on the town.

The Crew Has A Wild Night Out

In conversation with Colin, Ashley admits that she has difficulty trusting women due to situations she's experienced in the past. Such instances have caused her to be standoffish in nature, and have only helped to heighten her sense of competitiveness that seems to get in the way of a healthy working relationship with Gabriela.

The crew tidies up, and, drink in hand, head for dinner at Bisou. Sitting next to one another, Gary and Ashley discuss next steps for their "relationship," with Ashley admitting to Gary that, if they get intimate, she wants to be his sole hookup. Gary finds himself conflicted, saying that while he does want to sleep with Ashley, he's fearful of the consequences. Gary and Daisy then go out for a smoke, and when posed with the question of who Gary will be laying with tonight, he jokingly says to Daisy, "you."

After dinner, just outside the yacht, Gary and Ashley steal a cheeky kiss. Up on the boat deck, the crew continues the party, throwing on their bathing suits and heading into the hot tub. Noticing his flirtatious ways toward Daisy, Ashley decides to throw up her arms and focus on a more reasonable conquest for the night. As Gary dishes to Colin and Marcos that he'll be taking Daisy to bed, Ashley eyes Tom, putting to rest her aversion to his age.

During a Gabriela-documented photo shoot of sorts, Ashley and Tom share a kiss, leading her to ask him to the guest cabins with her . While the rest of the crew packs it in for the night, Gary and Daisy remain in the hot tub, joking, laughing, and...oh, there it is - kissing.

Fans Side With The Crew

It's more than evident that fans side with the crew on the attitude of the charter's guests. Given it was their second time aboard the ship, fans go so far as to say they should be banned from returning to Captain Glenn's boat.

As for Ashley's sudden interest in Tom, some fans find themselves empathetic toward her ageist attitude.

Will Ashley's change of heart be permanent? Or will her sober jealousy flare up at the thought of Gary and Daisy in bed together? Find out next time, on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

I lived ‘below deck’ on a luxury yacht — here’s what you need to know.

Tahiti, St. Thomas and the French Riviera — I’ve yachted in all of these exotic locales, albeit from the comfort of my couch. And, millions of Americans are in the same boat.

In 2013, “Below Deck,” introduced the masses to the most glamorous mode of traveling: yachting. Since then, it’s become a Bravo mainstay with Season 9 of “Below Deck Mediterranean’’ premiering in June.

But how real is the reality show? I spent five nights on a yacht in Croatia to find out.

A woman in a bikini standing on the deck of the 'Adriatic Escape' boat, ready to experience reality TV drama on the high seas in Maldives.

A tip on tipping

My suitcase wasn’t bursting with Benjamins. An agency at your final destination provides cash for the crew’s tip money. While you’re expected to tip $30,000 for a two-night cruise on “Below Deck,” in real life you only have to tip 10% to 15% of your charter fee. That’s about $10,000 for a two-night cruise on a 180-foot charter yacht like Mustique (from $250,000 a week), which stars in the new season.

According to Zvonimir Androić, president of the yacht charter company Via Croatia, more often than not, the tip comes from what’s left over after provisioning.

So, shun the Dom Pérignon and skip the beluga caviar, and you’ll have money to spare.

What’s up, dock?

A luxury yacht, named Adriatic Escape, docked at Split Marina with a weekly rental price of US$52,800

In real life, “Below Deck’s” favorite commercial-break cliff-hanger isn’t nearly as dramatic. Docking in our yacht, Via Croatia’s five-cabin, 100-foot Adriatic Escape (from $52,800 a week), was breezy.

I asked the crew if they hated setting up the slide — a tortuous, Herculean task if you believe what you see on TV.

“It’s not that bad,” a twentysomething Croatian deckhand, as cute as his on-screen counterparts, told me. “That said, we’re definitely not sad if you don’t ask for it.”

Play it cool

Barbie Pascual arranging a table on the set of Below Deck Season 11.

Despite being served meat on more than one occasion, my vegetarian co-guests on board weren’t divas when it came to cuisine — a major source of chef-related stress on the show.

Tantrums aren’t the norm Barbie Pascual, the “Below Deck” stewardess famous for putting up with former “RHONY” star Jill Zarin’s demands for the perfect Diet Coke in the “Real Housewives of Grenada” episode, tells me. “Guests know they are being filmed so their reactions are more extreme than they’d be if the cameras weren’t around,” she says.

Pascual’s biggest tip for first-time yachters? Don’t go skinny dipping, like they do on the show, after dark.

“People forget about currents, sharks, etc.,” she says. “Jumping in the water should always be with the captain’s consent!”

Our humorless Croatian yacht captain was a far cry from “Below Deck Mediterranean’s” affable Captain Sandy Yawn. I think we only saw him twice over the course of four days, and he definitely didn’t join us for dinner.

That was fine by us because the stews and deckhands were always handy with anything we needed — including at chat.

Asking for it

A group of people on the Adriatic Escape boat, available for weekly rent at $52,800

“No” is a word you’ll never hear on a yacht, unless there is a safety issue, Pascual says.

While we didn’t ask our crew to do a striptease or decorate for ‘70s night (two recurring requests on the show), out-there demands aren’t out of the question, as long as you’re willing to pay for it.

For example, Via Croatia is currently retrofitting one of its multimillion-dollar superyachts for an upcoming charter booked by a multigenerational Jewish family from Florida.

“In addition to paying the charter fee, the client is literally buying everything new: pots, pans, silverware, et cetera,” said Androić. “They’re even spending $30,000 on a new tender for the elderly mother-in-law.”

Now, I’m no reality show producer, but a picky primary trying to keep his wife, her elderly mom and their kosher kids happy at sea has the makings of an Emmy Award-winning episode.

Yachting on a budget

Agape Rose, an ultra luxury mini cruiser yacht with various amenities, sailing on Croatia's Adriatic coast.

Charters are cheapest at the beginning and end of a destination’s season. Via Croatia’s yuppiest yacht, the 160-foot, 12-cabin Agape Rose , fetches $200,000 a week in July and August. But it’s just $164,000 a week in April and October. Divide that by 24 of your closest friends and family and it’s just $6,800 a person.

If that’s still too much, consider booking a yacht club suite on one of MSC Cruises ’ Mediterranean voyages.

Sure, you’ll be on a cruise liner, but for $1,659 a person you’ll be treated to seven nights of private butler service with a private pool and restaurant that the pleb passengers don’t even know exists.

Here's Where the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 Is Now

Did the drama continue?

below deck sailing yacht season 3

Since it debuted back in 2020, Bravo’s spin-off Below Deck Sailing Yacht has certainly delivered some of the most dramatic feuds and steamy boatmances, and it looks as if Season 3 is no different.

While Captain Glenn Shephard is returning to take the lead of the Parsifal III, there’s a lot that’s changed, including a brand new crew and filming location. The cast will be sailing through the stunning waters of Menorca, Spain, but they’ll definitely be hitting some rocky moments, especially when it comes to returning crew members Gary and Daisy’s love-hate romance.

Well, it seems as if there’s more to come as Bravo teases one of the most unexpected crew hookups in Below Deck history. Say what? With so much having happened during the cast’s filming last summer, what exactly have they been up to since?

Captain Glenn Shephard

Originally from Montreal, Capt. Glenn is returning for his third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and with over 21 years in the industry, he definitely knows what he’s doing. Following his time filming the third season, Glenn Shephard took advantage of a few months off and traveled quite a bit. The 61-year-old found himself in Ghent and Bruges, Belgium, all while venturing through Paris, France. Although he remains single for the time being, Captain Glenn poked some fun at rumors claiming he was dating former crew member, Sydney Zaruba, however, the Below Deck star made things clear the two are simply “great friends.” Glenn later returned to Miami, Florida just in time for the season debut.

Daisy Kelliher - Chief Stew

When Season 3 wrapped, Daisy Kelliher, who returned aboard the Parsifal III as chief stew, took some much-needed vacation time. Kelliher hit up Antigua in the Caribbean , which is where she rang in the New Year and has remained since filming. Considering her ongoing love-hate relationship with fellow castmate Gary King, Daisy remains single for the time being, but she’s certainly not fallen out of love with traveling. Despite appearing to be living the life so many wish they could, Daisy revealed she’s been suffering from severe separation anxiety as she shared just how hectic and demanding her line of work could be in a February 13, 2022 post on Instagram

Gary King - First Officer

Being involved in Bravo drama is nothing new for Gary, especially after his steamy season with Daisy. Well, after wrapping up season three in Menorca, Gary took some time off to reunite with his family; sharing an adorable photo of him and his niece, Ava , on Instagram. The Bravo star is currently in St. Lucia , soaking up the sun, but he hasn’t managed to escape the drama. After sharing a kiss with Daisy Kelliher in the most recent season three trailer, fans have been wondering if he and Daisy are an item. Well, despite the rumors, Gary and Daisy aren’t dating, after confirming to E! News that the two are “just friends.”

Colin McRae - Chief Engineer

Colin McRae has returned to his old stomping grounds aboard the Parsifal III, and considering his love for sailing, fans aren’t surprised to see the Bravo star back on their screens. Since wrapping up last summer’s filming, it didn't take too much time before Colin and fellow Chief Stew Daisy reunited back in December. Since then, Colin has given most of his time to his YouTube channel, Sailing Parlay , which features an array of videos showcasing his sailing adventures. Things are clearly going well for Colin’s online presence, considering he was rewarded with a YouTube 100,000 subscriber count plaque back on February 6. "It has been 4 years of VERY hard work, possibly the hardest of any sailing channel out there that I know of so far, and to reach this milestone is so gratifying for us,” he wrote on Instagram.

Marcos Spaziani - Chef

Say hello to Bravo’s newest chef, Marcos Spaziani. The Venezuela native has been in the industry for over 10 years and is bringing his culinary expertise to the waters of Menorca. It didn’t take much time for Marcos to make a name for himself following season three of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Spaziani is currently settled in California and has decided to open up his very own restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Marcos and fellow chef Louis Huh have been working diligently on their newest business venture, ML Eats LA .

Gabriela Barragan - 2nd Stew

Gabriela Barragan reigns from San Diego and while she’s new to the Below Deck crew, she is certainly no stranger to yachting . Barragan has worked as both a stewardess and a deckhand over the course of the last two years and has continued her yachtie life after filming season three of Sailing Yacht . Gabriela spent January and February working a yacht in St. Thomas. After living and working the island life, Gabriela took to Instagram to share that all of her “ wildest dreams are coming true ,” and considering she’s spending her days sailing through crystal clear waters, we don’t blame her.

Ashley Marti - 3rd Stew

Ashley Marti is making her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, and she’s relatively new to the industry. Marti first began working on yachts at the start of the pandemic. Although she reigns from New York , Marti is currently a West Coast gal as she takes in the Los Angeles sun alongside a few of her castmates. Since wrapping up Season 3, Ashley traveled through the United States and the Bahamas and is adamant about returning back aboard the Parsifal III, so Bravo fans just might be seeing more of her in the future.

Kelsi Goglia - Deckhand

Kelsi Goglia is making her Bravo debut this season of Sailing Yacht. After catching the travel bug following a trip to Croatia, Kelsi has been a yachtie ever since, and it doesn’t look like she’s turning back any time soon. She currently resides in San Diego, California, and loves herself some travel, as most Below Deck crew members do. While her romantic life remains a mystery, it’s clear she’s too busy roaming the world to settle down just yet.

Tom Pearson - Deckhand

Growing up on a lake , Tom Pearson is no stranger to the water, but he’s brand new to the Bravo family. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand was spotted getting his boatmance on, making us all wonder if he’ll be headed toward hot waters. Well, it seems as if Pearson remains single, but his life is anything but boring. After returning home to Windermere, England, Tom has kept busy surfing through the British waters but has taken quite a liking to his new image. The Bravo star has been attending a number of events following his newfound fame, including his most recent appearance in London, England for the launch of a new app on January 20.

Gary, Daisy, Colin, and Captain Glenn Are Back for 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3

Shannon Raphael - Author

Published Jan. 25 2022, 4:49 p.m. ET

After Season 2 featured plenty of hook-ups, a few COVID-19 scares, and one boat damage incident, Below Deck Sailing Yacht is set to return for a third season in February 2022. The hit Bravo series is a spin-off of Below Deck , and the Parsifal III crew members must navigate boatmances, crew drama, and high-maintenance guests while also dealing with the stresses of working on an active sailing vessel.

The Parsifal III crew members are living and working together in Menorca, Spain in Season 3. A teaser trailer came out on Jan. 24, and it indicated that it will be an absolutely unforgettable charter season.

Like other Below Deck franchises, the Season 3 cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht consists of several returners and plenty of new faces. Keep scrolling to find out who is on deck this season.

1. Glenn Shephard (Captain)

One thing that fans of the Below Deck franchise can count on is consistency when it comes to the captains. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is no different, as Captain Glenn is back at the helm for his third season.

2. Daisy Kelliher (Chief Steward)

The Irish interior crew leader is back on Parsifal III for her second season. Though Daisy largely stayed above the fray in terms of the boatmances and drama in Season 2, things are about to change for her.

3. Gary King (Bosun)

While Gary claimed in the trailer that he wouldn't be getting involved in any complicated love situations like he did in his first season on the show, the bosun will be an active participant in a love pentagon on Season 3.

To further make matters awkward, one of the women involved in said love pentagon is Daisy. Will the bosun and the chief stew become a power couple, or will their romance hit the rocks?

4. Colin MacRae (Chief Engineer)

The chief engineer was a fan favorite in Season 2 because of his ability to stir the pot, and it doesn't appear as if anything has changed in the new season.

"I do enjoy a little bit of drama here and there," Colin said in the teaser clip. "It keeps me entertained."

Here's to hoping that Colin will continue to keep things interesting by sharing a bit of harmless crew gossip when needed.

5. Marcos Spaziani (Chef)

The food expert has a full decade of prior experience as a chef, and he trained in his home country of Venezuela. While cooking on a moving sailing vessel is certainly exciting, Marcos is set to open a restaurant in Los Angeles in the near future.

6. Gabriela Barragan (Second Stew)

Gabriela has experience working on both the deck and on the interior team, but she will be Daisy's right-hand woman in Season 3. The San Diego native has been in the yachting industry for about two years.

7. Ashley Marti (Third Stew)

The New Yorker is new to Below Deck Sailing Yacht for Season 3, and she's previously worked on boats in Florida and in the Bahamas. She embarked on a career in the yachting industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

8. Kelsie Goglia (Deckhand)

When Kelsie isn't working on deck, she resides in San Diego. The deckhand is new to the show, and she loves to spend time outside and in the water.

9. Tom Pearson (Deckhand)

The final deckhand grew up surrounded by water, so working on yachts ultimately became the right fit for him. Though Tom is serious about his career, he's also interested in a bit of romance on Season 3.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 is set to debut on Monday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. The show will also be available to stream on Peacock.

The 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Season 3 Trailer Is Here: Watch!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Glen Shepard

Season 3 of the series is returning Monday, Feb. 21.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back for season 3 with new and familiar faces and sea-level chaos! In the latest trailer for the hit Bravo series, Captain Glenn Shephard is back on the epic Parsifal III,  sailing across the beautiful waters in Menorca, Spain.

“When you go sailing, you never really know what the conditions are going to be like,” Captain Shephard says at the beginning of the trailer before the preview of the chaos aboard the luxury yacht plays out.

Returning this season are chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae and first mate Gary King. Joining the vets on board the yacht are a few new faces, chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhands Kelsie Goglia and Tom Pearson.

From the looks of it, this season is set to bring all the action and drama as the crew manages to navigate various hookups (and makeout sessions), power struggles, injuries and a storm that looks like it could take the boat underwater.

In the new trailer, we see that Tom, who isn’t ashamed of showing off his self-proclaimed “dad bod,” is bringing the body shots, and Gabriela, who braves the elements and topples over in the hot tub, is bringing the fun. Meanwhile, Gary is bringing the romance and a “striptease,” and Daisy is all about a fabulous party -- all while managing the expectations of the guests who board the yacht.

However, the season isn’t going to be without some serious drama as the yacht faces strong winds and a storm that could possibly send it underwater, and Chef Marcos gets a severe head injury that could leave the crew without a head chef.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 3 premieres Monday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.

  • Gary King denies sexual allegations, but Bravo continues to feature him on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.
  • Despite disturbing behavior, Gary remains a fixture on the show, interacting with women inappropriately.
  • Gary faces allegations, but displays no remorse on social media, insisting his behavior is appropriate.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht First Officer Gary King has been adamant that the sexual allegation rumors surrounding him are false, but after a year of denial, he needs to be humbled and stand down . Gary, who’s been working aboard Parsifal III since Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2, has been struggling personally in the last year after some serious allegations were lodged at him by a Below Deck franchise makeup artist. With claims that Gary was sexually inappropriate and aggressive during their time together, many have hoped that Gary would be removed from the franchise entirely due to his actions.

Rather than shutting Gary down, Bravo appears to be trying to run out the allegations and will be continuing with the First Officer appearing on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 . After filming the show over a year ago, the network is finally releasing the next season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which will likely feature Gary in the same capacity he’s been shown in the past. A fixture on the series, Gary has played a huge role in the show in other seasons, meaning it’s likely he’ll be heavily featured in the next season, despite his alleged inappropriate behavior .

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Gary’s Assault Allegations Were Overlooked

The network took minimal action.

Although Gary has been a major part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht in the past, his behavior on the series wasn’t traditional. An archetypal playboy, Gary has always been involved with women in some capacity . Whether he’s simply flirting with women on the crew and charter guests, or connecting with them on crew nights out, Gary’s always drawn in the attention of women with his loud, flirty nature. At times, his perusal has felt uncomfortable, which made the allegations against him believable. Bravo has chosen to overlook the allegations, keeping Gary on the show and staying quiet about the allegations.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Will Feature Gary

He’s still on the show.

With Gary having been cut from the BravoCon lineup in 2023, many were wondering if his behavior would catch up to him and get him fired from Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. Unfortunately, Gary quickly returned to the series and filmed the upcoming season with the rest of the cast amidst a vortex of rumors flying around about his behavior. Even with the allegations out and giving viewers pause about the series, B elow Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 continued with Gary in a position of power . Emboldening Gary, his lack of removal from the series has made him unbearable.

Gary’s Been Outspoken & Without Remorse On Social Media

He’s continued to deny the allegations.

Although Gary has to continue living his life after the allegations, his behavior on social media has made it clear that he doesn’t have any remorse , and is continuing to deny everything entirely. Even if the allegations are false, the way Gary has continuously behaved on social media has lacked empathy or awareness. Rather than standing down and defending himself without making himself sound like a victim, Gary has been outspoken about his behavior being appropriate. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht star could be sensitive and stand down, humbling himself rather than trying to reassure everyone he’s not a threat.

guests on below deck sailing yacht season 3

Readers … readers, readers, readers. Where. Do. We. Even. Begin? There’s so much to discuss. Was this a good episode? Definitely, but also dark-sided. I suppose we can get Dr. Nipples & Co. out of the way before we get into the meat and potatoes.

When Dr. Nipples and her husband told the crew they needed someone to pack for them, I was appalled but not surprised. No matter how much money I have, I will be packing my own bags. I don’t want people rifling through my personal belongings! And not because I think anyone will steal from me — nothing I own holds monetary value! But because … it’s so weird? Just pack your own shit! I digress. The state of the primary suite, however, did shock me. I was floored and disgusted by how filthy and nasty the room was. Are you adults? And you’re only onboard for three days? How do you get dirt all over the carpet? Why is Dr. Nipples bragging about flinging her bronzer all over the walls? Spilling my bronzer across the wall would ruin my trip! I would probably cry out of shame before searching the galley for a Magic Eraser and attempting to clean it in secret. Also, this is televised. Aren’t you embarrassed about how you will come across to viewers? Clearly not!

At least these garbage people tipped well! Twenty thousand dollars, so approximately $2,100 or $2,500 each. Captain Glenn says both numbers, and I don’t feel like checking his math. Their last dinner is a nonevent save for Dino’s obsession with getting his paws on a Sapporo. Daisy, at this point, is over his shit. She tasks the deckies with cross-referencing the guests’ preference sheets before delivering the news to Ol’ Dino: No Japanese beer was requested, and thus, there is no Japanese beer aboard. Too bad, so sad.

Okay, so Scarlett, the new stew, is officially onboard, and we Below Deck–heads will be eating for the rest of the season. Shit is already off the rails. I want to get into her orientation and analyze how her addition is affecting the dynamic of the crew, but we first need to talk about the mess that is Gary and Ashley.

Last week, I wrote that I was hoping to get a confession from Gary regarding what happened with Ashley in episode ten. We still don’t get anything that explicit, but this is what we do get:

  • Scarlett asks Ashley if she’s single, and Ashley responds, “I don’t know to answer that,” when, in reality, she is single as a Pringle. Weird.
  • While in the cab on the way to dinner, Barnaby brings up Gary and Ashley’s “shag.” Gary replies that he did not shag her. Daisy then says, “Yes, you did!” and Gary denies it again.
  • Meanwhile, in the other cab, Marcos asks Ashley, “You have sex with Gary?” She says, “Did I?” Scarlett seems shocked!
  • Back to cab No. 1. Daisy: “He dipped it in and out.” Gary: “That’s like if you take an ice cream and you lick it — did you eat the ice cream? No!” Daisy argues that yes, the calories still count. In this specific ice-cream example, though, I side with Gary. Licking an ice cream ⧣ eating an ice cream.
  • The cabs arrive at their destinations! Ashley pulls Kelsie aside and confides that she’s pretty sure Scarlett doesn’t trust her after finding out she “fucked” Gary. Kelsie tells her their cab was also discussing the hookup and Gary denied it. Ashley calls him a shithead. In her confessional, she suggests Gary is ashamed of her. This suggestion exhausts me. Perhaps Gary is ashamed of her! It’s obvious he’s tired of her. But Ashley doesn’t acknowledge he was blacked out and she wasn’t. Maybe denying the hookup is Gary’s way of coping with maybe feeling as if he was taken advantage of.

The situation only escalates at dinner. Ashley orders an espresso martini immediately upon sitting down — and pairs it with a tequila shot — which is a clear signal: Buckle the fuck up; what you’re about to watch will be painful.

Ashley repeatedly calls Gary’s name, which he either ignores or doesn’t hear as he flirts and giggles with Scarlett at the other end of the table. Ashley warns the rest that they’re all about to see a “not good” side of her and starts drunkenly proselytizing, “You can deny it happened, but it happened … I remember more than [ gestures at Gary ] … Trust me, you wouldn’t deny it. He’s denied it. Trust me.” Barnaby and Marcos smile and nod.

Daisy and Scarlett go for a cigarette, and Ashley’s preaching continues. Poor Kels even tries to intervene, but her attempts go unappreciated, and Ashley just digs her grave deeper by shouting, at the dinner table, “I remember the fucking penis being in my fucking vagina.” She also calls Gary a whore and repeats the penis line at full volume. It’s like watching a car crash in slow motion. Can anyone save this girl from herself? Daisy tries at least, telling her, “Ashley, stop talking and just drink water.” Extremely solid advice! I’m going to try to remember this in social situations.

The group takes two cabs home. Cab No. 1, consisting of Daisy, Scarlett, Gary, and Barnaby, is clearly the correct choice, while poor Kelsie, Marcos, and Colin are forced to listen to Debbie Downer herself the whole ride home. Ashley drones on and on, complaining about how Gary is making her look stupid by denying what happened. Colin, the voice of reason and hottest person aboard the  Parsifal III , tells her she looks more stupid carrying on about it than the actual fact of the matter. Colin for president!

Back onboard, Gary and Colin have a heart to heart across their bunks while Ashley chugs Don Julio from the bottle, which is simply a sad and sorry sight to see. She also randomly proclaims that Gary thinks she’s a whore and then chases him around.

The next scene, though, is perhaps the most disturbing of the entire episode. Ashley shovels a pile of spaghetti into her mouth that is so big it takes her multiple attempts to choke it all down. Scarlett says she’ll never be able to look at spaghetti the same way, and Kelsie says she’s traumatized. So am I, ladies.

I know I said I would move on to Scarlett, but everything about her pales in comparison to how Ashley’s making a fool out of herself. Ashley vomits in the shower, begs Daisy (repeatedly) to be named second stew, and even causes her ally, Kelsie, to confess to Daisy that she believes Ashley is on one.

Daisy clearly enrolled in a leadership-training course because she ignores Ashley’s pleas for a promotion and relegates her and Scarlett to the same position: junior stew. That, plus the sneak peek of Scarlett and Gary’s upcoming smooch, only means this won’t end well.

From the Galley

• Thank you, Marcos, for representing those of us with eye bags and claiming that under-eye bags are “European” in style.

• Congratulations to Kelsie for having her first solid poop in three days.

Setting sail across the seas on a megayacht is a vacation many dream of but only some can achieve. Whether it's in the pristine waters of the Caribbean or the Mediterranean, the experience is only as good as the team onboard makes it. Across the Below Deck franchises, there have been some incredible stews that have gone above and beyond at their job, while also providing some of the best entertainment. We will be focusing on the interior team of ladies, and gentlemen, who rose to the occasion, but also provided some excellent television. This list will not include any of the stews that ultimately got promoted to Chief Stews. We can save them for another time.

Below Deck is the hit Bravo series that watches the crew aboard some of the world's most luxurious yachts cater to the lavish whims of the high rollers. Documenting the work and play of the yachites, Below Deck has launched four spin-off series, making it one of the most successful franchises on the network. The stews working these luxury vessels go above and beyond for their guests. It's time to celebrate the best of the best from across the Below Deck Cinematic Universe.

10 Madison Stalker

'below deck sailing yacht', season 1.

The first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht was filled with a lot of learning curves. While the entire cast, sans Captain Glenn Shephard , got sacked following Season 1, there was one stewardess who was competent in a sea of incompetence. Madison Stalker was exceptional at her job.

She tried to stay positive during the season, but she often butted heads with Chief Stew Jenna Macgillivray simply because Jenna was way too obsessed with her relationship with Chef Adam Glick . Despite being the second stew, Jenna treated Madison poorly, causing her to feel miserable on Parsifal III. She didn't let that affect her work. Meanwhile, her stewardess cohort, Georgia Grobler , was so busy trying to win the heart of a taken man that Madison had to pick up her slack as well. Had Below Deck Sailing Yacht not had a disastrous first season, it's likely Madison might have had a chance to continue her tenure on the show.

'Below Deck', Seasons 1 and 2

Kat Held is a tale of two stews. As part of the season that kicked off the entire franchise, Kat epitomized the reality television side of Below Deck . She was loud and over-the-top. She knew the cameras were rolling and ensured that she would be a breakout star. She had a boatmance with Chef Ben Robinson . She was constantly at odds with the overly intense Chief Stew Adrienne Gang . She defied the orders of Captain Lee Rosbach, but she emerged as one of the stars from the first season.

She was brought back for Season 2 and everything changed. Not only did she have a better working relationship with the crew, she proved that working on the yacht took president over the reality television portion of the show. She became thick as thieves with Chief Stew Kate Chastain , but in the process, they alienated third stew Amy Johnson . Kat is one of the reasons Below Deck took off. Her redemption story arc was one to celebrate.

8 Anastasia Surmava

'below deck mediterranean', season 4.

Oftentimes, crew members on Below Deck are hired for a singular role, but they may produce other skills that prove beneficial for other departments. During Season 4 of Below Deck Mediterranean , Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier had the dream team on the interior. Comprised of second stew Aesha Scott and third stew Anastasia Surmava , it appeared that everything was going to be smooth sailing for Hannah.

That was until Chef Mila Kolomeitseva proved to be an absolute disaster and was fired. With no chef on board, Captain Sandy Yawn called upon Anastasia's culinary skills and background as a yacht to save the day. Anastasia saved the day aboard the motoryacht Sirocco, until Chef Ben Robinson officially arrived to be the chef for the final charters of the season. While Anastasia was cooking, Hannah was temporarily given a new stew, June Foster , who was certainly a downgrade from Anastasia. No matter where Anastasia worked, she was praised. Anastasia's well-rounded skills made her an exceptional asset to the team. Had Anastasia not been placed in the galley, the season would never have provided the infamous "June June" over the radio.

Below Deck Mediterranean

7 brianna adekeye, 'below deck', season 5.

Sometimes, being great at your job means you're not the best at television. Brianna Adekeye was so great at her job, that viewers may have missed her because she did the job she was hired to do. But it also might have been because she was picking up the slack as Chief Stew Kate Chastain was dealing with the disasters that third stew Jen Howell caused.

Brianna was a free-spirited soul and maintained her composure when Jen tried to throw Brianna under the bus for her failures. No matter how much drama was caused, Brianna rose above it. While she may not have engaged in the drama, she certainly was thrust into situations she didn't want to be in.

6 Kyle Viljeon

'below deck mediterranean', seasons 7 and 8.

Yes, you could easily put Kyle Viljeon on a list as one of Below Deck 's biggest villains, but when it comes to best stews, he's up there. He was commendable as a stew. Sure, he did often push the boundaries and cross the line of professionalism, but his two seasons on Below Deck Mediterranean were fire. As a huge personality, the South African riled up the crew, playing into the drama while stirring the pot. As one of the gay stews that have appeared on the show, he launched himself into fan-favorite status with his flirty fling with charter guest Frank Fay .

It's always important to go above and beyond for the guests, so he saved that smooch for after Frank's charter was over following a club night off the boat. During Season 7, Kyle formed a strong bond with fellow stew Natalya Scudder , but these besties turned rivals the next season. They both sought to assert their dominance following Natalya becoming third stew when Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo was told to watch out for her by Kyle. Kyle is one of the best characters throughout the Below Deck Cinematic Universe.

5 Dani Soares

'below deck sailing yacht', season 2.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 had a major refresh that helped save the series. While fans fell in love with the three best friends, Gary King, Colin Macrae , and Daisy Kelliher , they first saw stew Dani Soare fall in love with the much younger deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux . Dani was another cast member whose main goal was to do her job and ensure she received a good tip at the end of each charter. But it almost went to shambles when she became smitten with the tall deckie.

Much of her storyline revolved around the life she wanted to start after her time on Parsifal III. She felt that she was getting up there in age, her desire to be a mother was discussed often. As fate would have it, Dani did become pregnant, creating quite a scandal during the reunion. JL didn't attend, not allowing him to defend himself following accusations that he didn't want to be involved in the child's life. He eventually sat down with Andy Cohen to discuss the comments in a separately recorded conversation. While Dani's time on the show will be remembered for her love story, she should also be praised for the great work she did.

4 Emily Warburton-Adams

'below deck', season 4.

Emily Warburton-Adams was the sweet English Rose of Below Deck Season 4. Another stew who was exceptional at her job, Emily caught the eye of Chef Ben Robinson . While he did try to distract her from her duties, she kept her eye on the prize and let their boatmance flourish, temporarily, after the season.

The only problems Emily seemed to face came from Chief Stew Kate Chastain , who had a very close connection with Ben and felt she was replaced. Emily was truly a rare one during a very mild season, which made her one of the best stews of the Below Deck Cinematic Universe.

3 Hayley De Sola Pinto

'below deck', season 10.

A great personality can get you far in the yachting industry! Such was the case for the fabulous Hayley De Sola Pinto . Season 10 of Below Deck was like a revolving door of crew as people were fired and Captain Lee Rosbach had to depart due to a nerve issue. The bright spot during all of the darkness was third stew Hayley. She got along swimmingly with Chief Stew Fraser Olender . Especially as she was the ear he turned to during the Camille Lamb-Alissa Humber fiasco.

She was proficient at her job and stayed out of the immense drama that the rest of the interior team endured. Hayley's vibrant personality and ability to make crew and guests smile was her best asset. Fans were disappointed when Hayley didn't return for another season, but there's always other superyachts in the Below Deck Cinematic Universe.

2 Josiah Carter

'below deck', season 6.

Josiah Carter made history as the first male stew to appear on Below Deck . Literally being Chief Stew Kate Chastain 's right-hand man, Josiah proved that he was just so good at every aspect of the interior. With another disaster stew on their team, Josiah and Kate formed a close bond as they had to fend off the problems Caroline Bedol caused for them.

How they said goodbye to her though is the only dark spot during his Below Deck tenure. Josiah was constantly praised by his superiors and the guests alike. Had Josiah not stepped away, and there been an opening available, Josiah would have made an excellent chief stew. It's the charm!

1 Amy Johnson

'below deck', seasons 2 and 3.

During her first season on Below Deck , Amy Johnson had a bit of a rough go. She never did anything wrong, her sweet-as-pie Southern charm just didn't vibe well with Chief Stew Kate Chastain . Oh, and having to watch your brother engage in a boatmance wasn't easy. So, she flirted with Eddie Lucas , causing tension between her brother, Kelley Johnson , and his colleague.

Nevertheless, Amy was invited to return for Season 3, where she and Kate were not only able to get along, but they formed an incredible tandem. Well, that may have been because they were able to rely on one another as they endured Hurricane Rocky Dakota , their problematic third stew. Amy was the definition of service with a smile. While she may not have been the over-the-top personality you'd want from a reality star, she certainly was someone you wished would be part of the team if you charted a yacht.

Ranking Every ‘Below Deck’ Show From Most to Least Memorable: Mediterranean, Adventure and More

Ranking Below Deck s Spinoffs in OrderFrom Med to Adventure

Bravo’s Below Deck series has inspired several spinoffs — but not every one has left an impression.

Below Deck , which debuted on Bravo in 2013, introduced viewers to various crew members who reside and work on a superyacht during charter season. The original series quickly became a major success for the network, spawning spinoffs that include Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck Adventure .

The show has since become an example of Bravo’s rare all-year long programming with a Below Deck series airing new episodes at any given moment. While most of the cast has changed from season to season, viewers have gotten invested in some of the mainstays , which are usually the captains and the chief stews or bosuns.

However, not every show has stuck with fans the exact same way. Certain iterations didn’t last longer than a season while others have become more memorable than the OG Below Deck show.

Keep scrolling to see Us ‘ ranking of the Below Deck shows — in order from most to least memorable.

1) ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’

'Below Deck Med' Guest Apologizes After Being Reprimanded by Captain Sandy and Getting Fan Backlash

When some of Us weren’t looking, Below Deck Mediterranean surprisingly became the backbone of the franchise that earned it first place on this list . A large part of that is Captain Sandy Yawn , who for better or for worse has gotten viewers reinvigorated about Below Deck . It takes a special kind of captain to not always make decisions everyone likes but that keeps fans coming back for more.

Sandy’s priority is being a good captain but somewhere along the way she became Below Deck gold. Everything else is just icing on the cake when Sandy is at the center of every season in the Mediterranean.

2) ‘Below Deck’

The original show paved the way for every other iteration to find its place on Bravo. Without Below Deck — and Captain Lee Rosbach — fans wouldn’t know just how compelling drama on the high seas can actually be.

One reason why Below Deck isn’t at the very top is tied to the show’s decision to fix what wasn’t broken. Captain Lee was the face of the franchise — so it wasn’t easy to say goodbye when he was replaced following a decade on Below Deck . The switch came several seasons after chief stew Kate Chastain left and it was too much change at once for some of Us .

3) ‘below deck sailing yacht’.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Daisy Kelliher Hints at Falling Out With Colin MacRae Following Season 4 Hookup, Says He Has the 'Most' to Answer for at Reunion

Speaking of shows overshadowed by controversy, Below Deck Sailing Yacht had it all when it originally premiered on Bravo in 2020 . Paternity scandals, love triangles and Below Deck alums that overstayed their welcome by making the audience turn on them again.

Captain Glenn Shephard confidently steered Below Deck Sailing Yacht into a successful future but other factors ultimately got in the way.

First of all, Daisy Kelliher ‘s messy feelings for Colin Macrae and Gary King sounded like good reality TV on paper but it wasn’t as interesting on screen. The trio actually made it harder to come back around each week because it was exhausting to see them hash out their confusing issues.

Season 4 wrapped up with the promise of more episodes before Gary made headlines for his sexual misconduct scandal. He has maintained his innocence and no official statement has been given on the future of the show but Below Deck Sailing Yacht has yet to release any news about another season since the drama.

4) ‘Below Deck Down Under’

Laura Bileskalne Has 'No Regrets' About Being on 'Below Deck Down Under' After Consent Scandal

The spinoff set in Australia should have been a slam dunk with Bravo’s favorite hottie Captain Jason Chambers and fan-favorite chief stew Aesha Scott by his side. However, Below Deck Down Under initially struggled because it was premiering on Peacock instead of Bravo meaning viewers didn’t know to look for a new show.

Season 2 was what put Below Deck Down Under on the map but not for the reason anyone was hoping. A shocking consent scandal halfway through the season resulted in Luke Jones and Laura Bileskaline getting fired from the boat , which Below Deck Down Under was applauded for as new episodes continued to cover the aftermath.

Despite the fact that Jason and Aesha received praise for how they handled the situation , there has been no news about the show’s future. It is possible that the drama overshadowed the show itself — and not in a good way.

5) ‘below deck adventure’.

Ranking Below Deck s Spinoffs in OrderFrom Med to Adventure

The fourth spinoff was meant to be the most action-packed as guests signed up for thrill-seeking activities along the Norwegian Fjords. After premiering in November 2022, Below Deck Adventure failed to find an audience week to week and subsequently faded out of everyone’s mind.

Bravo never announced the show’s cancellation but it’s probably safe to assume that not many fans were asking for a status update. Instead, Captain Kerry Titheradge was moved to Below Deck and everyone forgot the first failed Below Deck spinoff series.

What Are the Below Deck Season 1 Cast Doing Now?

By Amy DeVore

Cast of Below Deck Season 1.

Below Deck  first set sail on Bravo in July 2013. It was a hit, and this series quickly blew up, with spin-offs emerging left and right. Or should I say port side and starboard? All yoke lines aside, inaugural seasons typically carry steep learning curves, but wildly, this first group of stars (mostly) handled their sh*t with ease. Let’s now do a roll call and check in on these series-introducing yachties.

Captain Lee Rosbach set sail on Oxygen

Captain Lee Rosbach , AKA the Stud of the Seas, kicked this entire franchise off. Therefore, I will always toss some respect on his name. He led from Below Deck’s wheelhouse until the end of Season 10, and then Bravo pulled his plug, replacing him with Captain Kerry Titheradge from Below Deck Adventure . Thankfully, this sassy Captain found his new home shortly after.

Reality television and true crime series are excellent forms of escapism. I am not alone in my avoidance pursuits, as Oxygen created an entire series with these two things in mind, and they brought Bravo’s first-ever Captain along for the ride. Cue Deadly Waters with Captain Lee , a series that sails through more sinister ports of call than BD. Each episode sees Captain Lee walking through various true crime stories, each taking place over a different body of water.

If you miss this witty wheelhouse wonder, head over to Oxygen and catch up with Captain Lee and his factually deceased seafarers (not his formerly figuratively dead-to-him hires) now.

Aleks Taldykin moved on to Vanderpump Rules, the sales side of yachting, and fatherhood

Aleks Taldykin from Below Deck Season 1 is a dad!

Fun fact. Aleks Taldykin was originally in the mix for the Captain’s role on Below Deck. After the network handed this gig over to Captain Lee, Aleks got cast in an equally important role, walking on board as the first First Officer for this series. Sadly, he only lasted one season.

When one door closes, another one opens, literally, for Aleks. In Season 4 of Vanderpump Rules , Stassi Schroeder opened Kristen Doute’s door, and there stood Aleks. He and Kristen had a small fling in 2016, three years after his stint on Below Deck. It didn’t work out, but it was nice to see Kristen putting herself out there again following her breakup with James Kennedy .

These days, Aleks is still in the yachting industry, although he now works primarily on land. Before he joined BD, Aleks started Elite Yacht Management in Southern California, so he already had a gig to return home to post filming. In 2019, he added another job to his resume via Denison Yachting, selling large motor yachts to everyone but me. As for his personal life, Aleks became a father earlier this year, so we can now consider his life officially busy.

Adrienne Gang made a brief cameo in Season 2 and then returned to her culinary roots

Adrienne Gang from Below Deck Season 1.

Adrienne Gang is the first Chief Stew in the Below Deck franchise. Her tough-as-nails work ethic didn’t always find her fellow yachties well, so she only lasted one season on Bravo. Much to the non-delight of her Season 1 stew, Kat Held , Adrienne made a brief cameo in Season 2. The charter guests were her friends, so she joined them on a land-based excursion while Kat (mostly) reigned her emotions in.

Following this cameo, Adrienne secured herself an impressive gig, working as the culinary director of Blue Oceans Yachting. She was a chef before Below Deck, so this makes sense. Additionally, Adrienne works as a private chef, with a few speaking gigs on the side.

Adrienne has also taken a few leaps post-filming that have failed to stick. In 2018, she got married. In 2021, she started a podcast called Gangplank Report. Unfortunately, her marriage ended sometime between 2023 and 2024, joining her equally defunct podcast around that same timeframe.

Good on you for trying new things post-filming for Season 1 of Below Deck, Adrienne.

Kat Held found other bars and gemstones

Kat Held now holds crystals.

Kat worked as a stew in Season 1. Her carefree personality and love of a good time saw her returning for Season 2. However, these two seasons would be her only ones on Bravo. That said, she did return to film a BD 100th-episode special on Watch What Happens Live in 2020.

Best known for her drunken “I wanna go to the bar” cries, Kat has since exited the yachting industry. She has tried her hand as a waitress and a bartender, but these gigs must have grown old, as Kat is now all about that gem life. In 2022, Kate created a new Instagram account. Her latest venture is under the handle of @thelapidaryshop , where Kat describes herself as an “Archeology & Gemology Enthusiast.”

Kat is now a “Collector, seller, and buyer of gemstones, crystals, rocks, minerals, fossils, and jewelry.” Rock on, Kat.

Samantha Orme is an Engineer and a mother

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Samantha Ulmer (@samiorme)

Samantha Orme was a fan-favorite stew in Season 1, but she made the call not to return to filming in Season 2. She wanted a different life and a different life she now has. Work-wise, Sam stepped off the pier and entered into a Vice President of Engineering role at a solar energy firm. Now, she is the Enterprise Program Manager at Fidelity National Information Services, according to her LinkedIn .

Her bossiest coworkers, however, are likely her husband Brad, a Coast Guard helicopter pilot, and their two little girls, Blake and Molly. I have a Molly as well. Sam and I also share our current locations, which I will only describe as a beachy, sleepy little pocket just North of Tampa, bordering the Gulf of Mexico. Call me, Sam.

Eddie Lucas is now a tugboat captain

Eddie Lucas stole the show in Below Deck Season 1, so the network brought him back for Seasons 2, 3, 8, and 9. That said, the chances of seeing Eddie again on our screens are slim, as after filming on Season 9, Eddie trash-talked Bravo for their abysmal Below Deck paychecks . I can’t blame the guy for this, because have you seen the price of snacks these days?!

Eddie has since pivoted away from the superyacht industry, yet he’s still working on boats because “Eduardo loves the ladies ” water. His current boats, however, are Tugboats, and he’s now a captain. This title took him several years to secure, but Eddie never gave up, and I am sure this made his boat Daddy (Captain Lee) proud. Eddie recently even purchased a home in Baltimore, so it’s safe to say that he has fully settled into his next chapter of life post-filming.

David Bradberry is an actor and a writer

David Bradberry from Below Deck Season 1 is now an actor and writer.

David Bradberry was a precious, innocent deckhand. He engaged in little-to-no conflict throughout his entire first season, and everyone from the cast to the viewers loved watching his various unproblematic scenes. He even got engaged to his then-boyfriend during the show, but sadly, in 2019, this romance fizzled out. David also returned to Below Deck at the tail end of Season 3, rounding out a shortly-staffed crew.

Since leaving Below Deck, David traded in his epaulets and started perfecting his stage face. He is now living the dream, working as an actor and a writer in our nation’s capital. His IMDb page credits a few of his new roles, including “The Last Straight Man” (2014) and “Confessions” (2015). All the world’s a stage, and David is a solid player.

C.J. LeBeau owns a home improvement company

C.J. LaBleau now owns a home improvement company.

CJ LeBeau and Sam were tight in Season 1, but unlike Sam, CJ only lasted for nine episodes of Below Deck’s inaugural season. After taking a boozy swim with Sam during a charter, Captain Lee, who was already weary of the guy, talked him into leaving. He joined another boat at the marina, and following this, he stayed away from the limelight.

Minus an arrest for Domestic Violence, which we hope taught him many things, CJ returned to the world of construction, which he first started gaining experience in at the ripe old age of 12. Now, he owns his own company, Done Today by CJ. According to his website , he does everything from property repairs to plumbing, ever the well-rounded tradesman. Keep making good choices, deckie alum.

Chef Ben Robinson is still in the galley, just not on Below Deck, for now

Chef Ben Robinson has my heart for life. After charming everyone with his quick wit in BD Season 1, Bravo brought him back multiple times, including a few stints on Below Deck Mediterranean . This man can cook, clap back, and call out his fellow yachties like a true king. He is made for this realm.

According to his website , Ben now “runs a successful catering business.” This sees him traveling “all over the world creating culinary masterpieces. He is available for private events, private instruction, and guest appearances.” His website also links to his purchasable wares and tools, all sold to help inspire the inner chefs in us all.

On that note, It’s time for me to run along and burn tonight’s dinner. Chef Ben, send help. Also, send yourself back to Below Deck.

RHOC Season 18, Episode 8 recap.

Who are the worst Below Deck charter guests in franchise history?

Erica Rose on Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Jill Zarin on Below Deck

Below Deck Med just featured two of the rudest charter guests in the history of the hit-yachting franchise.

Mahisha Dellinger and Neysla Paltsev were dragged for their actions on Below Deck Med Season 9.

Meanwhile, Neylsa apologized for her actions o n the show but also threw some shade at the editing.

While Below Deck Med fans thought they were the worst, Neylsa and Mahisha are far from the worst guests ever to be on the show.

Let’s take a look at all the horrible guests ever in the Below Deck series.

Jill Zarin appeared on Below Deck Season 11 and earned serious backlash for her entitled behavior and for suggesting the crew have a bell she could ring whenever she needed something.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum wasn’t even the primary guest on the charter but certainly acted like she ran things.

Below Deck Season 8 guest Delores Flora will forever be remembered as the drunk who disobeyed Captain Lee Rosbach’s orders and got kicked off the charter.

It all happened because of her drunken late-night swim, which she did again after she was forced to leave the yacht.

Timothy Sykes was on Below Deck Season 2, showing off his wealth by flying a helicopter to the dock, wearing shirts with his name on them, and just being a jerk.

He even announced that he deducted $5,000 from the tip he was going to give because he had issues with Chef Ben Robinson’s food.

Below Deck Season 6, Kari Klein was demeaned the worst for her comments on chicken. Kari called out another guest for ordering chicken, claiming, “Chicken is what poor people eat.”

@andy.cohens.bussy I guess Im poor #belowdeck #bravotv #katechastain #captainlee #yachtlife #yachtie #belowdeck ♬ original sound – Andy Cohens Bussy (PK)

Chelsea Enright appeared on Below Deck Season 9 with her jaw wired shut. Chef Rachel Hargrove was forced to make all of her meals in smoothie form, and they were to be exactly what the other guests were eating. Yes, it was gross, and she got impatient at every meal.

Honorable mentions for awful guests go to Brandy Coffey for her drunken medical emergency and RHOC star Alexis Bellino for her PDA with a guy she’s no longer dating. Both of these guests were on Below Deck Season 7.

Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Leon Glore and Justin Thornton get lumped together for their Below Deck Med Season 5 stint. Leo went off on the lack of Oysters until Hannah Ferrier proved him wrong with the preference sheet.

@andy.cohens.bussy I love when a guest is proved wrong #belowdeck #belowdeckmed #bravotv #hannahferrier #captainsandy #customerservice ♬ original sound – Andy Cohens Bussy (PK)

Meanwhile, Justin and the group were slammed for a low tip, considering they were overly demanding and ran the crew ragged. Justin even brought along his dog Scout, who had to stay ashore where the crew would check on him at various times.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 introduced viewers to Erica Rose . While the crew were not fans and neither were viewers, Erica’s Season 2 appearance was nothing compared to her return in Season 3 with her husband, Charles Sanders.

They complained about everything, especially Chef Marcos Spaziani’s food. Charles said McDonald’s was better. Aside from being rude and ruining the white couch with self tanner, Eric and friends left a $6,000 tip.

Other honorable mentions from the spin-off shows include Below Deck Med Season 6 guest Athena Lucene and Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 guest Dr. Kim Nichols.

We have no doubt there are some we missed, so let Monsters and Critics know in the comments section who you feel are the worst guests in the Below Deck franchise.

Below Deck Med airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-9 are streaming on Peacock.

Below Deck Med spoilers: Aesha saves the day and Gael calls out Joe

Below Deck Med spoilers reveal the Mustique crew scrambles as a storm impacts the yacht and the charter.

There’s plenty of crew drama going on, too, thanks to Joe Bradley and his womanizing ways.

In the latest preview video, things pick up right where they left off, with Captain Sandy Yawn dealing with a leak and Chief Stew Aesha Scott venturing to a winery with the new group of guests.

The streets become so flooded that the guests inform Nathan Gallagher and Aesha that they want to return to the yacht.

Meanwhile, Bosun Iain Maclean and the engineers work to fix the leak, especially in the forward cabin.

“We just can’t catch a break,” Captain Sandy expressed.

The good thing is she’s about to get a break, thanks to her amazing chief stew.

Aesha Scott steps up on Below Deck Med

In the footage, Aesha scrambles to give the guests an impromptu wine tasting on the boat.

Lucky for her, these guests are easy to please and understand the weather can’t be helped. They are nothing like the last guests, Mahisha Dellinger and Neysla Paltsev.

Aesha gets the guests involved as they pick a wine as she reads various details about each bottle. It certainly isn’t what the guests asked for, but Aesha brings a smile to all their faces.

Captain Sandy walks through to see the fun everyone is having. The captain gives Aesha mad props for her skills, and the chief stew deserves every ounce of praise.

Below Deck Med’s Joe Bradley gets an earful from Gael Cameron

Deckhand Joe Bradley has been causing problems since day one of Season 9 of Below Deck Med. Bri Muller and Elena “Ellie” Dubaich have clashed over him, causing work and personal tension.

Although Gael Cameron tried to take a back seat to Joe’s drama because she works with him on deck, she speaks her mind after the crew night out. They have a chat in the crew mess where Joe insists he’s done with both women.

Joe defends his actions regarding canceling his date with Ellie before asking for Gael’s opinion on his situation. Gael doesn’t hold back, calling out Joe for leading on Bri and Ellie, but does it with class, not anger or accusations.

Via her confessional, though, Gael blasts Joe for not caring about either stew. She accuses Joe of trying to get what he wants from whoever and places the blame on the women.

“I am just questioning if the good guy act is an act?” Gael expressed in her confessional.

Below Deck Med fans are not buying Joe’s act, that’s for sure. The deckhand was dragged for his behavior in the most recent episode , flirting with Ellie and then having a little bathroom hook-up with Bri.

Speaking of the hook-up, as Monsters and Critics previously reported, Joe and Bri set the record straight on what really happened in the bathroom stall.

Only a few episodes of Below Deck Med Season 9 are left, so be sure to tune in to see how it all ends.

Below Deck Med airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-9 are streaming on Peacock.

By Editorial Team   24 July 2015

Motor Yacht EROS has been revealed as the show name for the yacht used in the upcoming season of Below Deck Series 3, set to hit U.S. television screens with a half-hour preview on Monday 10 August at 10pm ET/PT. In usual fashion to the previous two seasons of the hit show, the featured yacht has undergone a name change, usually known as  charter yacht 'Mustang Sally.'

Superyacht EROS renamed for Below Deck Series 3

Bravo's popular show recording the charter vacations of clients on board a luxury yacht officially returns for the Season 3 premiere on Tuesday 25 August 9 at 9pm ET/PT. As YachtCharterFleet reported in January , the upcoming will follow the lives crew of living and working on board the Trinity charter yacht EROS (aka motor yacht Mustang Sally).

Viewers will be able to enjoy insight to the luxury yacht charter experience, as various clientele rent M/Y EROS in the Bahamas . As seen in the newly released trailer for the show, the summer charter season will be as dramatic as ever, fuelled by champagne, caviar and tropic thunder.

This year's crew will comprise of familiar faces from last season, including Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain (chief stewardess), Amy Johnson (second stewardess) Eddie Lucas (bosun) and Ben Robinson (Chef), with the new addition of crew members crew members Don Abenante (second engineer/deckhand), Connie Arias (deckhand), Raquel “Rocky” Dakota (third stewardess), Emile Kotze (deckhand) and Leon Walker (Chef).

During the season, the feisty crew on board the $11-million luxury yacht must check their egos at the dock to concentrate fully on providing a first-class service to their guests, who have paid around $35,000 for 3 days on board the well-appointed yacht.

From affairs, firings of crewmembers and technical failures on board EROS, Season 3 appears as if it will be full of drama throughout. As seen in the trailer above, one highlight will be the ongoing tension between Kate and new Chef Leon, causing Captain Lee calls on Chef Ben Robinson for help.

The popular motor yacht EROS usually charters for $175,000 per week, and boasts luxury amenities for 'Below Deck' clientele to enjoy including an 8-person Jacuzzi, deck barbecue, gym and ship-wide music system. She accommodates a total of 11 guests in five cabins, in a spacious layout comprising of a four double cabins and a twin cabin.
