Moscow yachting port / Yacht club MRP is located in Dolgoprudny, a town near Moscow, on the banks of the Khlebnikovskoye backwater of the Klyazma reservoir, famous for its high density of yacht clubs and sunny beaches, popular among residents of the Moscow Region. The pier is designed to receive 200 vessels up to 150 meters long, and the port's infrastructure allows providing services at the European level, including repair at a high technical level.

Among the services and infrastructure facilities provided on the territory of the Moscow yachting port / Yacht club MRP :

• Repair and maintenance of yachts;
• Crane services;
• Warm boathouses;
• Possibility of round-the-clock fueling of ships on water;
• Parking in the winter;
• 24 hour security;
• Ice rink in the winter;
• Restaurant "Steamboat".

The port area is ideal for organizing celebrations (weddings, corporate meetings, etc.).

How to get there

You can get to the Moscow yachting port / Yacht club MRP either by car - 6 km from MKAD along Dmitrovsky sh., In the Gribki settlement, then turn right at the Moscow Yacht Port sign after the construction market at the entrance to the overpass. Then drive under the bridge and keep to the right, moving along the main road, then follow the signs for “Moscow Yacht Port” and “Yacht Club MRP” to the railway crossing, turn right before it, after 300 meters on the right side there is an entrance barrier in the "Yacht Club MCI." Also, by car you can get through Dolgoprudny on the Likhachevsky highway, after the railway crossing of the Vodniki station, turn left. Another way is to take a suburban electric train from Savelovsky Station to the Vodniki station. You can also fly to the yacht club by helicopter.

333 yachts at marina

A total of 333 yachts have visited Nawi Island Marina since opening date, showing the growing popularity and reputation of the marina as the premier yachting facility in Fiji and the Pacific.

According to updates from Nawi Island, during the current cruising season, it had recorded between 70 to 75 yachts per month.

Of the 333 yachts recorded, seven were super yachts.

Super yachts are large and luxurious yachts for pleasure  yachts.

Nawi Island Marina is constructed according to Australian standards and is certified to withstand up to a category 5 cyclone.

It has 132 berths including those for superyachts up to 85 m in length, full service toilet and shower facilities, fuel jetty, 24 hours security, 240 volt single phase and 414 volt 3 phase power (400 Amps also available), laundry services, and UV filtered water supply.

Further Nawi Island is a ‘game changer’ for cruising yachts looking to cruise all year round in Fiji because of its state of the art, heavy duty construction and horse shoe shape marina, nestled into a tropical bush covered basin which creates a perfect cyclone bolt hole.

“Nawi Island marina has been designed to be a totally safe haven for your vessel so you can relax and explore our island paradise,” Nawi Island says.

“We are located in a natural safe harbour. The berths have been constructed with wider diameter, heavy duty piles and have increased height for storm surge coupled with floating concrete pontoons. We also offer 24/7 security.”

While Nawi Island is currently in its peak season, yacht numbers are expected to decrease as the off season sets in close to November.

However, for this year, the marina has already 20 confirmed yachts booked for its off season and another 20 are yet to confirm. These yachts will remain in Savusavu while its owners travel back home during the off season.

“We’re in peak cruising season in Fiji and are blessed to receive so many new visitors to our beautiful marina and to support the growth of yachting tourism in the north of Fiji and to Savusavu, Fiji Islands – the ‘hidden paradise’ ,” Nawi Island noted on its Facebook page.

Island Global Yachting Announces Inauguration of Solar Power Project at IGY Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, USVI

St. Thomas, USVI | September 12, 2024 – Island Global Yachting (IGY) LLC, the only global portfolio of premium yachting destinations, today announced the activation of a large-scale solar power generation project at Yacht Haven Grande in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Clean, Renewable Energy

The project is a collaboration between IGY and Prosolar Caribbean, a leading solar energy provider in the region.  IGY installed a rooftop photovoltaic generation array that generates clean, renewable energy for the mixed-use property. Power from panels will supply a meaningful share of Yacht Haven Grande’s energy needs, reduce the property’s reliance on fossil fuels and lower its carbon footprint.  Additionally, the project will lessen demand on the local utility grid, freeing up power for use by the surrounding community.
