I just got back to California from Miami after dropping my new boat off at the Seven Seas chartered ship, and so far it has been SEAMLESS!! Dimitry was stupid patient with all of my panic stricken questions, I realize now that this is not like moving from house to house, tons of moving parts. The surveyor of the ship, Louis Marino was again very patient with us and went out of his way to help. THANK YOU LOUIS! The ship is now hauling ass towards the Panama Canal then towards Ensenada. I will follow up later with update. So far GREAT JOB!! THANKS PS bring lots of fenders for when your boat is against the ship

I wanted to offer so much gratitude for everything you did for us. There was never a time I felt worried, every question was answered timely and with joy, and our boat was received on the West Coast of the US from the Caribbean in perfect condition. Terrible experience. They don't even deserve a single star. Here is what happened. On 4.9.2018 I engaged Seven Seas Yacht Transport to move a 37' Boston Whaler fishing vessel from St Thomas, USVI to Ft Lauderdale, FL. The boat was promised to be delivered in May and wound up arriving in late July. The boat was received by Shane Mancuso with Mancuso Marine who did an inspection and found a number of areas damaged on the boat. See Exhibit A - Invoice I then began reaching out to Dmitry Farber with Seven Seas to find a resolution. I have been given the runaround ever since. Finally in early February of 2019 I was contacted by the shipping agent in St Thomas who did the actual shipping work and found out that Seven Seas never paid them either. Here are some of email correspondences with Dmitry Farber. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dimitry, I've made numerous attempts to contact you with no luck. Ultimately I need to know what your willing to do about the damage to my boat. You have all the pictures. Advise ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Jesse, Sorry for not getting back to you until now and for making you wait all this time. I would like to make it right. I sent request to my agent in St Thomas to get me a condition report and photos of the boat upon pick up in St Thomas. I also checked with my loadmaster who says that there was no damages reported during loading and unloading on our vessel. I conclude that if damages did occur then likely they could have occurred during transfer by captain between St Thomas and Tortola. What do you think happened based on nature of damages? Im really not sure what happened. My theory is the captain hit the bottom at some point which is what would have caused the hull damage and the stabilizer to be ripped off. It looked like on the trailer and other hull damage near the anchor that when they dropped the boat on the trailer it smashed the trailer and caused the trailer to rub up on the hull. Maybe they dropped it to hard on the trailer? I have a captain that picked up the boat and he is also a mechanic so if it is useful Id be happy to connect you with him and he can give you his ideas. It's been 2 weeks since the last response. It's really unfortunate that I have to chase this down. We had to wait for St Thomas agent to clear any light on this situation and person in charge Tracy had taken a maternity leave for 90 days and just returned last week She can't seem to confirm what could have happened to cause these damages besides speculating that it was a delivery captain's fault during moving her from St Thomas to Tortola. Captain is not responding to us.

Damage on boat

Dear Jesse, we have shipped your boat once before and all went well showing that we care and can do our job well. It is never fun to leave the boat for a year and note damages on the boat after receiving her later. We take each damage claim very seriously and work with clients to find a resolution. Our record is less then 2% damages for shipped boats and we ship apprx 400 boats per year. We have investigated the incident with our agent in St Thomas who was in charge of arranging pick up of your boat from St Thomas yard and delivery to Tortola anchorage alongside our transport vessel. Agent (St Thomas Cargo) provided definite confirmation that boat did have preexisting damages to the hull prior to pick up. In March we had refunded you over 2,000 USD as good faith to help you offset some of the expenses even though there was no clear evidence that Seven Seas had caused these damages. Under normal conditions, we would direct client to file insurance claim and follow procedures listed by underwriters to file a claim. We wanted to settle this matter directly to expedite refund process and to save you a deductible. After studying this case in detail, I see some discrepancies: It appears that trailer was in poor condition at the time when it was received by Seven Seas or our agent Traci. Having a trailer in poor condition attributed to majority of the damages listed on your estimate. We did not handle boat on trailer and when boat was offloaded from our ship, I believe she went into the water upon unloading from cargo vessel in Florida Regarding trim - there is not physical way for our captains to rip it apart during move from St Thomas or for our loading team / loadmaster to damage it during lift Lifting slings do not go anywhere close to where trim tab is and captain who ran the boat from St Thomas to Tortola did not report any damages or issues while boat was in his control. Traci confirmed that delivery captain did not report any issues and he is obligated to report if he ran aground or caused damage while in control of the boat. Our loadmaster ( I checked with him again Charles Delbridge +1-305-332-4728 and you may call him to verify) also confirmed that no damages happened during loading / unloading. I also checked with vessel captain / master and chief officer - they did not report any damages during loading or unloading. All of these parties are obligated by report any issues to us immediately and provide a damage report as standard protocol This raises a question if there is a possibility of these damages being preexistent before we took possession of the boat. When boat was picked up, we informed that it needed a new battery which means it sat a while without use Can we look at the issue objectively and answer these questions together: What happened between May 2017 until May 2018 in St Thomas? Irma and Maria came though in September 2017 and a lot of storage yards and boats took damages Was boat used or in storage for a year or used and what could have caused damages to trailer or rendering it to be in poor condition? When did you see the boat last before shipping took place in June 2018 and do you have photos showing condition of the boat taken shortly before loading? Is it possible that damages to trim tab or theft occurred while boat was in the storage yard as part of storm damage or other reason? As per evidence from Traci (St Thomas agent) Item 1 on the estimate relating to trailer repairs is pre-existing damage Item 3 on the estimate is also related to preexisting damage from trailer and she mentions that there were preexisting damages to the hull +++++++++++++ Here is my input on the first 2 pictures: The white spot on the port bow in the blue hull paint existed prior to me taking possession of the vessel. The roller on the trailer was already bent when I took possession of the boat and trailer. I was astonished to see the condition of the trailer when we launched the boat into the water. The carpet no longer covered the wood supports and screw tips (the pointy ends) were exposed toward the hull of the Boston Whaler. I took pictures of the trailer while it was still in the water.

Seven Seas Yacht Transport has been a very professional and reliable company. Seven Seas Yacht Transport moved my 40 foot sailboat from New York to Oregon and handled every step of the way with competence. The few problems that were encountered were dealt with quickly and professionally. Shipping costs were very reasonable. This is an outstanding transport company managed by great people. Do not hesitate to use them for yacht transport.

WE had an agreement to ship a 85 ft Yacht from Genoa to Miami and on the very last day before the ship was supposed to leave they told us they could only ship it to the Caribbean instead. So, we had to send a crew to drive it 1200 nautical miles which cost us an extra $20,000 of what was quoted. Do not trust these guys! Read the fine print on their contracts...you are at their complete mercy on every shipment.

Dear Patrick, we are sorry that you had a negative experience prompting you to write this review. After yacht was discharged in Antigua safely, Patrick called me few times on other projects asking to help him move additional yachts. I am not sure what later prompted him to to leave a negative review. I contacted him multiple times to try to discuss it the issue was resolved and what we can do to resolve it. He never replied to any of my inquiries. Up to this date, we are open to his call. While it is impossible as a business owner to keep everyone 100% satisfied, we always try our best to follow up and resolve any issues. It should be noted respectfully, that Patrick's narrative is not exactly accurate and contains some false facts as well as it omits the full story which must be disclosed to have a full understanding of this project. It is correct, we did have agreement to ship 85 Azimut from Genoa to Florida. We advised 14 days before intended departure (not 1 day before) that due to yacht's weight and equipment issues at Port Miami, Miami port terminal operator in Florida had come back to us saying that they would be unable to lift the yacht of the ship upon arrival. This was a complete surprise to us as we had previously offloaded 88 Ferretti and other similar size yachts with same terminal operator in Miami. Apparently they were having equipment issues at the terminal at that time. We offered alternative option to ship the yacht with lift on / lift off yacht carrier ex Genoa to Antigua for a discount of over 20,000 USD from initial freight agreed to allow Patrick's client to bring his yacht back from Caribbean to Florida. Patrick asked his client if this option would work and responded that it would be fine. We had client sign addendum to contract stating that they are accepting revised / discounted rate and revised discharge port. Client also told us that they would like this option because they can spend few days in the Caribbean to enjoy their yacht and that 20,000 USD discount is fine to bring the yacht to Florida. Additionally, we also paid 3500 USD to cover costs of berthing and crew to move the yacht to loading as additional incentive. We had really done everything that was asked of us and decision to switch discharge port to Antigua was welcomed by both client and broker. Later in September of 2016, same client (Josh Wilske) purchased another yacht in Europe (Spain to be exact) through another broker and contracted Seven Seas to transport Maiora 23 from Spain to Ft Lauderdale Boat show.

They dont deserve even 1 star. Unreliable, late and yacht got damaged.

Client of mine needed a referral to get the yacht he just purchased in Miami transported to Dubai. I got Dmitry's card at a networking event and passed it on to my client. I'm glad I did. My client was very happy. I will definitely recommend Seven Seas again.

Seven Seas Yacht Transport helped to move our 40 foot sailboat from Florida to St Thomas in December 2015. Yacht was loaded safely and delivered on time. Dmitry from operations department kept us informed daily on schedule, loading updates and arrival.

What a TERRIBLE experience, steer clear of this company! I have been in this business for many years and have moved our boats with many different companies, this company and experience has by far been the worst we have ever encountered! We choose this company to move our boat from Houston, TX to Alameda, CA based on availability (we needed the boat loaded and moved asap and none of the companies we usually work with were available at the time) They ended up being over a week late, we were lied to multiple times, and our boat arrived with thousands of dollars' worth of damage to the mast, boom, and the hull. The truck driver, by the name of Manny was extremely unprofessional. He would not allow us to note the damage done to the boat on the bill of lading. In fact, he threatened to leave with the boat still on the truck if we included ANY damage on the bill of lading. In order to unload the boat we were under duress to state on the bill of lading that the damage was due to improper packaging of the boom by the boatyard in Texas when this was clearly NOT the case. A week later he has called both myself and one of sales reps and physically threatened their life. These threats make a bad situation even worse and only cause an even higher level of suspicion and concern for my employees. I would NOT do business with him under any circumstances. This is the 1st time in all my years in this business having to write a negative review but find it necessary as I hope no one has to go through what we are going through.

We are a licensed, bonded NVOCC - authorized by the Federal Maritime Comission to perform voyage charters worldwide, as well as on demand conference line services with weekly sailings for yacht and boat transport. We are essentially a global yacht transport agency. We ship boats from all Seven Seas to your favorite destinations in Florida, US West Coast and Canada, Med, Asia, Dubai, Russia, Adriatic Coast, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti. 

We also service all seasonal routes for boat and service our clients needs with on demand service and charter voyages to all destinations and ports worldwide. Our boat transport service includes:  U.S. East Coast (Newport, Rhode Island, Baltimore, Norfolk, Port Everglades, Florida), the Mediterranean (Toulon, France; Genoa and Taranto, Italy; Marmaris, Istanbul, Izmir in Turkey; Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Barcelona, Spain), the Caribbean (St. Thomas and Martinique) , the Pacific West Coast (Golfito, Costa Rica) and the South Pacific (Papeete, Tahiti; Auckland, New Zealand; and Brisbane, Australia).

Seven Seas Worldwide was established in the mid-nineties by two brothers, John and Will Henderson, who continue to head up the business from their United Kingdom   base   in Kent. Their success has helped them over the years to open a series of depots and offices worldwide.

To accommodate our expanding international market, we provide native Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai and Malaysian speakers as part of our customer services teams (as well as English of course) to help provide complete customer support throughout the shipping process.

The 109m/357'7" motor yacht 'Seven Seas' was built by Oceanco in the Netherlands at their Alblasserdam shipyard. Her interior is styled by Dutch designer design house Sinot Yacht Design and she was delivered to her owner in July 2023. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Sinot Yacht Design.

Seven Seas has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 35 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Seven Seas Trading is also able to assist with the purchase and transport of any type of watercraft. This includes smaller items from jet skis and fishing boats, to large yachts. Through our partnerships within a vast network of manufacturers, we are able to offer the watercraft at very competitive prices.

Using our sister company, Florida Maritime Group, we are also able to provide the complex service of transporting the watercraft. With over 10 years experience in this field, your expensive yachts are in safe hands every step of the way.

Our Process

Step 1:  contact us.

Contact Seven Seas Trading and let us know what you need!

You can contact us via email, phone, WhatsApp, WeChat, or Viber. We have team members ready to assist you nearly 24/7. See our  Contact Info  on our home page for details.

We have connections to yacht manufacturers and brokers around the world and we are dedicated to finding and/or transporting any watercraft you may need.

Step 2: Payment

Once our team finds the watercraft you need, we can proceed to the payment phase.

We provide our customers with several payment options. You are able to pay with cash by sending our account a Wire (TT) Transfer for the full amount of the watercraft or transportation costs.

Alternatively, you can open a letter of credit (LC) with your bank. We can also put you in contact with our preferred international trading bank,  Techlantic . 

Step 3: Shipment

Once we receive payment whether through a Wire Transfer or Letter of Credit from the bank, Seven Seas will purchase the watercraft from the manufacturer. 

We then carefully load the watercraft onto a cargo ship and ship the watercraft to your port of choice.

Engine Service/Repair

Our highly skilled team carries a combined 60 years of experience and specializes in servicing & maintaining gas and diesel engines & generators, outboards, transmissions, and outdrives. We also install & maintain marine electronics equipment and repair/refurbish propellers. Seven Seas is a Volvo Penta Rapid Response Service Dealer and members of our team have certifications with Mercruiser, Yamaha, Onan, Kohler, ABYC, Cruisair, and VacuFlush, and provide warranty work for most of these manufacturers. We can also retrofit most yachts with a FreedomLift® System for easy transport of dinghy’s, tenders, or pwc’s.

Complete Dry Dock/Yard Services

Our travel lift has a 25-ton weight capacity for getting your vessel out of the water and onto our docks for repair & service.

Electronics/Entertainment Systems

Spend your weekend on the water amid the comfort and convenience of modern technology. Seven Seas provides expert installation of the latest audio and theater equipment, as well as state-of-the-art navigation systems.

Mobile Service Fleet

Seven Seas employs a full-time captain from 8am - 5pm weekdays to pick your boat up for service and deliver it to your slip when it’s finished. We also deploy a mobile service fleet that can work on your boat dockside.

Seasonal Maintenance

Whether you need your boat shrink-wrapped for the winter or commissioned for the spring, Seven Seas provides a full range of services for all seasonal needs. We also provide winter storage space if needed.

Pick Up/Delivery

We’ll arrange transport of your boat or, in most cases, you can drop it off on Sunday and pick it up the following Friday.
