I have deep sea fished for over 35 years and used many fleets but have found the best for many reasons: The crew, Brandon and Ricky were beyond nice, knowledgeable, and helpful, and patient with those who were a noob. All bait was provided, included were large minnows which is rare. Cleaning your fish of course was provided and Ricky did it excellently with plenty of filet and a nominal price. I chartered the Gulf Stream trip.

I had a great time going out with Little River Fishing Fleet this past December and went on a 1/2 day specialty fishing trip. I wasn't expecting to catch much, but I was able to catch 3 keeper black sea bass and a spottail pinfish along countless other undersized black sea bass. The captain was very knowledgeable and made sure we were on productive fishing spots. I highly recommend this fishing charter company as they put you on the fish and have friendly and helpful staff!

Josh and Lee were the best crew and fishing trip I have had! They are friendly, knowledgeable and all around fun guys to go out fishing with. I had a prior bad experience in a 4 hr near shore and was worried on going on our deep sea full day with Little River Fishing fleet again, Josh and Lee sure made me a loyal customer for any and all future trips out. I caught 2 Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks and a Spanish Mackerel! Captain Henry and First Mate Kelly made our trip an amazing trip. I have little to no fishing experience and had a wonderful time. Our crew were helpful, informative and accommodating; they provided the perfect assistance to feel independent but not intimidated. Our group of 4 from Oklahoma caught 5 shark and 5 mackerel (and a jellyfish) total while both trolling and drop fishing on a 4 hour trip - well worth the price!

Great experience!!! The crew were very laid back and easy to talk to. Josh and Dave were constantly giving tips and moving to new spots, to enhance the experience! We caught a lot of fish. They filleted them right there on the dock! ( The pelicans loved them for it!) Great experience; would go there again!!!!

Me and my girlfriends family went out today for our first ever ocean fishing experience and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out even with a boat FULL of people they were attentive helpful and very kind making sure every last one of us was having a good time and trying to make sure we all caught fish Corey even cut our blood minnows in half to increase our chances to hook one !!!all of them were absolutely amazing we WILL BE BACK 10/10 experience !!!

Excellent experience!!! I booked a private charter with the blue runner. the captian and mate was both amazing. They kept the hooks baited and removed all the fish for us all. The mate made sure my 9 year got some large fish. Best charter we have been on by far well worth the money. Would love to go again.

We had a great fishing trip and would totally go again. The water was choppy when we first set out, so mostly everyone was soaked by the waves but no one seemed to mind too much. It was much calmer going back in the evening. The boat took us somewhere 18-20 miles off shore.

Highly recommend! This is our second year using little river. We requested Captain Brittney to take us out again and she did great again! She's super family friendly and made sure my 10 year old son was catching fish all day! We also had captain Lee go with us this time and he did great as well. He helped my son get a nice barracuda. These captains really know their stuff. Our group all got sea sick and they still took care if us and worked with us. we had a blast. Hopefully we will be able to get another vacation planned with them.

If you wanna go and have fun and catch fish go with these folks on a specialty trip to the Gulf Stream and ask for josh and Dawson, grate people with good work ethic and customer concern! Fishing was Super Fantastic Saturday May 2, 2020. Captain Robert and the frist mate Ricky make a great team both are very knowledgeable and fun to fish with. Me and my buddy Eddie were cranking and yanking some really nice fish. I caught a mix bag of fish and a very nice Grouper/ while Eddie caught a nice Amberjack and a mix bag of fish. Five Stars to you guy's!!!

We had an amazing trip, we booked the 6 hour morning trip and had a blast. Ricky and Brandon did everything in there power to ensure a safe and fun trip Ricky was always there to assist, and when brandy was not steering the boat he was also there to help, a couple of great guys that have a true passion and love for what they do. If you guys are reading this, thank you again.

Captain Henry and First Mate Kelly sure showed us Okies a great time on a four hour private trip trolling and bottom fishing! They had us on mackerel almost immediately and so much so that we caught enough in an hour and a half that we were done trolling and we wanted to go try shark fishing a little further out.we ended up catching five sharks in another hour and a half and we’re ready to head back in. Henry and Kelly were great and even humored us and gaffed a jellyfish for us because we couldn’t quit gawking over them in the water. Lol If we ever come back, we’ll probably do a deep sea trip next time and get into more species. We’ll definitely be requesting this crew again!

My friend and I went on the half day specialty fishing tour with Captain Lee and Alex, we had a blast! I had never fished before and it had been a few years for my friend, and they both made us feel safe and comfortable. Captain Lee and Alex were there to assist putting bait on the hook and cheering us on when we caught any fish. Couldn’t have been a better charter, we recommend for ALL!! Tip the crew they deserve it!

Took my two boys (9 &10) shark and bottom fishing. We caught so many fish (sea bass) and had a few keepers. We caught a small shark and an octopus too. Captain Tab and First mate Kelly were so friendly and helpful, especially helpful with the two boys while landing fish. I will definitely book another trip with Little River Fishing Fleet and I will ask for Captain Tab and Kelly again if possible.

I highly recommend Little River Fishing Fleet for anyone looking for a great affordable fishing experience. We went on a 4 hour shark fishing charter and as you can see by the picture, it did not disappoint. Captain Brandon did a great job placing us on the fish. Additionally, deck hand Ricky was as great of a deck hand as you could expect. We never had to wait for more than a few seconds before he was there to help. I will definitely be booking another charter with them next time I’m at Myrtle Beach.

Went on a 11 hour gulf stream fishing trip today on the Southern Tide. Capt. Lee and mate Dawson were awesome. He put us on the fish all day. They were attentive to everyone. The laughs were flowing. If I get the chace I will definitely come back and go fishing with ya'll again. Guys get some new batteries in those scales. Ya'll are really good. Couldn't of landed the grouper withou your help

We would definitely recommend Little River to anyone. We took a half day charter for our youngest sons birthday, our crew was Capt. Alex and Micheal on the blue runner. They where hands down a great team and made his birthday one he will remember for sure, on top of all the knowledge they had they also maintained a very clean work and safe environment. They made it a priority to be hands on and helpful for all of us, our only regret was not booking the entire day. Frequently Asked Questions

Do i need a fishing license.

You are covered under our fishing license. Also, we’ll provide the rod, reel, tackle, and bait. You provide the smiles and sense of adventure.

What am I going to catch?

On the shorter trips, you’ll catch a lot of fish, but due to federal regulations, you’ll have to throw a lot of them back. The further out the trip goes, the more fish you are able to catch, keep, and bring back to the dock with you. Our experienced Captains will always do their best to put you on the fish. Call us in the office to find out what’s currently being caught.

Where does the boat depart?

We have two different departure points. The Little River waterfront and the Calabash waterfront. Both are close to the inlet and allow for maximum fishing time. We’ll give you exact directions when you book your trip, or you can call us for more specifics at 843-361-3323

Is this family friendly?

Yes! We love to take kids fishing, however we don’t recommend that children 4 and under venture out onto the high seas for personal safety reasons. With a mate to help bait hooks and remove fish, this is the perfect chance to take those above 4 out for a day on the water.

Multi Day Sailboat Tours Myrtle Beach Itinerary: Day 1: We will depart our marina by 9:30am, heading to Bird Island where we will raise our sails and enjoy a 5 to 7 hour cruise up the North Carolina coastline to Bald Head Island. Under the guidance of your captain you will be able to sail the boat yourself for an interactive trip, or just "kick back and relax." We will be docking at a local marina for two nights, just a short walk or golf cart ride to restaurants, shops and island activities.

Day 3: After you have breakfast we will depart the marina on our return trip to our marina.

We will leave the dock "B" and cruise out the Little River Inlet 3 1/2 miles with the sails up. It is a quiet, peaceful, and respectful time to say good bye to your loved one. During the warmer months, we will have 3 time slots available for you to choose from. We provide cut flowers (when available) to scatter and spread along with your loved ones ashes..

GPS coordinates are note and you may purchase certificates are available for $15.00

Contactless Spreading Ashes

Contactless Ashes To accommodate your needs, we are offering a contactless spreading of the ashes service Ashes can be mailed directly to us or hand - delivered. We will take the ashes 3 1/2 miles out off the coast of Myrtle Beach, where we will respectfully spread them in the Atlantic, We will note the date time of day and exact GPS quadrantes. Flowers will be scattered and videography provided. Upon conclusion we will mail you a notarized certificate that documents the aforementioned and a video will be emailed or texted at your preference. Amazing experience! Adam is a great captain with a very convenient boat. The boat has a restroom and a cooler with ice for your drinks and food. Adam also provides paddle board and inflatable tubes. Highly recommend to everybody and will be renting Adam's boat again in the future 100%!

My wife, three daughters, and I had a fantastic time with Adam and his buddy Mercy. Adam was friendly, responsible, professional, and gave us a great experience. We will definitely look him up again in the future for our next trip to town.

We can’t say enough good things about Captain Doug and his boat! We booked 4 hours - which made for a perfect day on the water! We explored the waters and islands! Then stopped for a yummy waterfront lunch at a local restaurant. Yum! Captain Doug was so knowledgeable about the area’s history and made it so fun for our little one as well! It really felt like such a private special experience for my family and in-laws! We will be booking every year when we come back for family vacation!

We had the best time with captain Doug, he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and he called us the day before to answer any questions we had & gave us great parking directions. Not to mention he found our missing phone in the ocean and we got to see soooo many dolphins. We will definitely be contacting him next time we’re in town!

From beginning to end, this was a stellar experience. Brandon did a phenomenal job with the booking answering any questions we had and made the launch and ease. Was super helpful and explaining the features and additions of his boat and provided a phenomenal Fourth of July. Highly recommend Brandon and his vessel. Super clean, well-maintained and a great economical Fuel wise boat. Had a fantastic day.

Intracoastal charter for the myrtle beach area.

We had a great time with Captain Ben and first mate Jon. The boys really loved seeing bird island and swimming. I would definitely recommend this charter company!

Ben and Jon were great!  Very knowledgeable about the area. This is a great, inexpressive way to explore  a different side of north myrtle, I highly recommend them. 

So much fun! We had a fantastic experience and didn't have to drive. Captain Ben knew the area very well and took us to great locations for shopping and restaurants. We even saw dolphins.
