When planning my ideal vacation, I choose to relax by the beach; however, I do love some vacation fun. You can get the Power Boat Adventures tour with Sandals resort, and it’s perfect for vacation fun! Through Sandals, you get a variety of options for fun activities for you to choose. I decided to try something adventurous, which is why I’m sharing the whole Power Boat Adventures Bahamas experience.

If you are looking for an activity to fit your Bahamas travel Itinerary, then you need to choose a whole day for this Nassau boat tour! The Power Boat Adventure Tour is an all-day event and it is one of the top things to do in the Bahamas. However, if you are looking to book this trip, the specific name to the activity is the Exuma Power Boat Adventure. When I found out about this experience, I was eager to try it. This way, I can give my personal experience in this Power Boat Adventure Bahamas Reviews. Seriously, I had little idea as to how we wouldn’t get bored on a 9-hour day trip. However, this trip has a wide variety of activities and new places to discover!

What does it include?

Exuma Power Boat Adventure

When thinking about the Power Boat Adventures Bahamas, there is a lot included in this Nassau Boat Tour. You not only get to experience the powerboat, but you also get a trip to one of their private islands in the Exuma Cays. Once on the island, you get a variety of activities. From feeding Iguanas, Sting Rays, Sharks and even Pigs, there is more to this Power Boat Adventure!

While here, you are in a beautiful private island with guides who give you direction on the activities available for you. One of the best parts of the trip is that while on a private island in Nassau Bahamas, you do get an open bar available to you ALL DAY! While getting some tropical drinks at a tropical island, there is also amazing food available for you to enjoy. The staff offers you all you can eat buffet. While on my Nassau Boat tour, the buffet consisted of a delicious diverse Sandwich buffet.

What to expect?

The boat ride to the Island is super thrilling, OMG! Although the trip covers everything you need except for some personal items (make sure to bring some sunscreen) there is one thing you need to know. The Power Boat Adventures Bahamas tour includes some snorkeling activities. If this is your first time snorkeling, this is NOT for you. However, you do have the option to stay on the beach and work on that tan!

PRO TIP – Make sure you bring an underwater camera for some amazing pictures. While you’re either snorkeling or interacting with the stingrays you will want to capture these memories.

The highlight of the trip is feeding the Sting Rays and Sharks. Not only are you in this stunning private island, but you are also surrounded by these magnificent creatures. We are often scared of sharks but the guides make this experience such a humbling one. While here, there are plenty of opportunities for you to take pictures and explore the area (I bet that underwater camera is coming in handy now!)

Iguana Island

You can guess on the name why the island is called this way. In Iguana Island, the staff gives us a long stick with red grapes. While doing this, you get to see the Iguanas up-close and feed them. Although it was a memorable experience, I did find myself enjoying the other activities more. Being able to experience Shark and Sting Ray feedings in the Bahamas is just the extra edge of fun I was looking for.

The Private Island Experience

As I mentioned before, the Power Boat Adventures Bahamas tour includes not only the powerboat experience but also visiting a private beach and feeding the local animals. While on the private island, take advantage of the opportunity and get involved in some snorkeling activities or, if you’re like me, you take advantage of the view and have an amazing photoshoot. Gotta do it for the Gram am I right!

Well Worth The Money

This is a fantastic trip, somthing you have to do. Unlimited food and drinks when you get the Powerboat Adventures private Exuma Island.

First Stop, Allan’s Cay

Step on board one of our two custom built offshore powerboats for an exhilarating one-hour high-speed boat ride to the dreamy Exuma cays some 38 nautical miles away from Nassau. Hold on tight and feel the rush of wind in your hair as our boats slice through the crystal clear Bahamian waters at 40mph and above to take you to your destination for the day. Watch the towering landmark of the Atlantis Resort disappear to a memory as we near our first stop…

Pulling in to the secluded Allan’s Cay you will meet the first of our neighbours as we pause to provide a tasty breakfast for the protected Allen’s Cay Rock Iguana (Cyclura cychlura inornata). We call this critically endangered species the Bahamian Dragon and have often provided transportation for research and environmental teams to Allen’s Cay to aid in the study and conservation of these lizards.

A few photo opportunities with these amazing and ancient creatures along with a handful of grapes as payment for their time, and we are ready to launch the boats back into high-speed for the trademark Miami Vice Boat ride up to our own private and secluded island paradise, Ship Channel Cay.
