Key West sunsets are renowned for their vibrant colors. The island’s location at the southernmost tip of the continental US allows for unobstructed views of the sun sinking into the horizon, painting the sky with fiery oranges, deep pinks, and purples. This nightly spectacle, coupled with the relaxed island atmosphere, draws visitors and locals alike to celebrate the beauty of a day’s end in Key West.

The green flash, sometimes spotted in Key West sunsets, is a fleeting emerald shimmer that appears just as the sun dips below the horizon. This rare phenomenon occurs due to the way sunlight bends in Earth’s atmosphere, briefly separating the sun’s colors and allowing a glimpse of green.

Seeing wildlife on a Key West sunset cruise is possible, but not guaranteed. Dolphins are frequent visitors, and you might spot sea turtles, manta rays, or even sharks depending on the day. Keep your eyes peeled and listen for splashes – the sunset might come with an unexpected animal encounter!

At maximum capacity, the trip will hold a total of 125 guests and the average number of guests may vary depending on the time of the year. There are a total of 3 decks to spread out for the duration of the trip including a shade deck, an upper deck, and the sun deck that can also double for your dance floor!

Absolutely! Restrooms are a feature of our catamarans. You can expect to find marine bathroom facilities onboard for your comfort.

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots or parking garages.

It is necessary for Fury to collect your paid in full voucher and give you a boarding pass. This helps us maintain an accurate count for the Coast Guard. You will also be required to fill out various liability waiver forms for the activities.

Yes! To receive a military discount on any Fury trip, please book through the MWR office on Key West’s Sigsbee base by calling 305-293-4174.

Most Fury tours will require the minor guest’s  nautral parent be present at check in to sign them in. Please call 888-976-0899 for specific policy details for your preferred tour.

Yes! Fury operates 365 days a year. Be sure to check out our Special Trips & Events to see if we are running any special Holiday trips.

Fury Water Adventures does not operate in unsafe weather conditions, but a light rain shower is not a deterrent. The Captain will assess the weather and should the Captain determine that the conditions are unsafe to run the tour, the tour may be postponed or it will be canceled. If a trip is canceled by Fury Water Adventures for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund. Every effort will be made to run tours, as advertised. Should Fury have to amend or alter your tour due to extraneous circumstances, tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.

All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your trip’s scheduled departure time. To place a cancellation, please call 1-888-976-0899 or email [email protected] and refer to the confirmation number at the top of your confirmation document. Failure to place a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance will result in your credit card being charged the full amount of the reserved. No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled within 24 hours of departure, unless reservation refund protection was purchased. Please note that failure to show for the reserved trip  without cancellation will result in no refund. If a trip is cancelled by Fury Water Adventures® for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a refund.

Fury has a 24 hour notice cancellation policy to receive a refund. Guests can purchase Reservation Refund Protection for a 10% fee to be eligible to cancel or transfer tickets up to 1 hour prior to their scheduled departure. All you have to do is email a request to [email protected] no later than 1 hour in advance of your reservation time.

Reservation refund protection fees are 100% non-refundable in the event of any cancellation or reservation change.

Fury allows service animals only. A service animal is any dog that has been trained to perform tasks to benefit an individual.  The work performed must be directly related to the individuals disability.  According the ADA service animals for emotional support, therapy, comfort or companionship are not considered service animals.

The guest requiring the service animal must be in possession of the animal at all times. Due to the nature of Fury tours,  guest and service animal  may  be required to remain on the boat for the entirety of the tour . This is to ensure the guest’s safety as well as that of the service animal, Key West wildlife, other guests, captain and crew.

The Argo Experience

The Argo Navis is locally built, locally owned, and locally operated! Our Key West-based crew and ownership has strong roots and love for this special little island at the tip of the Florida Keys. We aim to provide our guests with an experience which will deepen their appreciation for all that Key West has to offer– from the beauty of our tranquil waters and stunning sunsets to the mix of characters that call this place home and Argo Navis their “office”. We live by our motto – Sail As You Are – and encourage our guests to as well, so feel free to dress up or dress down, just kick those heels off at the gangplank!

All ticketed sails on Argo Navis are fully inclusive. We serve fine wines, craft beers & cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and food offerings. Our catamaran is very stable and comfortable, allowing you to walk around and enjoy all the views from inside and out throughout the cruise. Our crew sets the sails every evening and we are a music-free vessel (unless otherwise noted for certain special events), so our guests are able to experience all the sensations of sailing– from the movement across the water to the sounds of the wind and waves. 

Our connection to the oceans and the islands has inspired us to do what we can to operate our business with the health of the planet in mind. We choose reusable materials whenever possible and when disposables are necessary, we opt for the most sustainable options from responsible companies. We ask that you only use reef safe sunscreen when going into the water and keep all non nature-made materials from going overboard when under sail. As many familiar with being at sea will know, living and working on boats will naturally teach you to be aware of available resources and how they are consumed. We are grateful for the experiences we’ve had which have helped teach us best practices for living with care for our environment.

All our sails are rain or shine unless the weather is unsafe. The Captain will make that call when appropriate and the crew will contact you at the number provided in your reservation to reschedule, at no additional charge, or offer a refund. Reservations must be canceled by phone call 48 hours prior to sailing to receive a refund. Guests who miss the boat will be rescheduled if possible, however, no refund will be given. Please note, no smoking is permitted onboard the vessel. The Argo Navis is docked at the end of Margaret Street at the Historic Key West Seaport. There is a city parking lot a half block away in front of the Waterfront Brewery with a pay station that takes credit cards. There’s also a parking garage located at the corner of Grinnell and Caroline. Please be at the docks about 15 minutes prior to the departure time so we can get you checked in. Check-in with our Crew member in a blue shirt on the lawn in front of the Sheraton, at the end of the Beach Walk. 

**NOTE** If at check-in, surf conditions are deemed dangerous, guests can expect to walk 10-15 minutes north on the beach walk to a safer boarding area. Check-in location will not change.

We will be loading from the beach, you can expect to get wet up to your knees when you board. Please watch the short Beach Loading video below, taken on a small surf day. This tour is NOT recommended for guests with mobility issues. Please consider a tour with a Maalaea departure.

Parking is available at the Sheraton Maui for $15. Guests also have the option to park at Whalers Village. Trilogy will not validate your parking pass at Whalers.

*On days when beach loading is not possible due to large surf, we will depart from Maalaea Harbor. Guests are responsible for their transportation to Maalaea Harbor. We will always try to give ample warning if this change must take place.

KA'ANAPALI BEACH LOADING

This excursion loads directly from the sands of world-famous Ka’anapali Beach, and you WILL get wet when loading. Please watch this quick video showing our beach-loading process during medium shore break. Please keep in mind that beach loading requires a certain level of physical fitness.   Guests with injuries or disabilities which impede mobility may find beach loading too difficult or strenuous. It is recommended that guests with mobility issues and parents with small infants , book one of our many tours departing from the Lahaina Harbor.

Built in 1999 by Scarano Boat Building, Adirondack II is reminiscent of a classic turn-of-the-century Pilot Schooner. Like the Pilot Schooners that worked the coast throughout the 19th century she is a wooden hulled traditionally rigged schooner and is a working boat known for her elegant profile and surprising speed. At 80 feet, she provides a comfortable, safe, high-performance sailing experience. With her roomy deck space and large cockpit, Adirondack II can accommodate up to 57 passengers. Her size, comfort and classic lines make Adirondack II the perfect boat for corporate and private sailing charters, leisurely day sails and sunset cruises on Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Built in 2016 by Scarano Boat Building, Sloop Eleanor is a custom designed Scarano 48’ sloop that can accommodate up to 24 guests in her roomy cockpit with wrap-around seating. Her size and classic lines make Eleanor the perfect vessel for a more intimate private boat party .

Built in 1992 by Scarano Boat Building, Schooner Madeleine is a 72 foot sailing beauty. This yacht was specifically designed and built to carry passengers easily and safely sailing through the local waters of Newport. The Schooner Madeleine maintains 19th century sailboat style with a 21st century sailing comfort and convenience. She is certified for up to 49 passengers.

The classic yacht Rum Runner II was built in 1929 at the height of prohibition. Just before dusk, you will board our 1904-styled Friendship sloop. We will depart the dock, hoist the sails and take in the many sights and sounds of San Diego Bay such as the Maritime Museum ships, the Coronado Bridge, various military vessels. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 may not wind up getting released, and if that’s the cast, I’ll be blaming First Officer Gary King’s poor behavior for the cancelation of the beloved series . While Below Deck viewers may not have been shocked by Gary’s behavior on the series in the slightest, when it comes to the way he’s behaved off-screen, even fans who have been watching for years were alarmed. Gary’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been focused on the fact that he’s a playboy type, but as a man in his forties, Gary’s behavior is, frankly, uncomfortable.

Introduced as the First Officer on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2, Gary has been on the series for the majority of its time on the air. As one of the main crew members who has stuck around from season to season, viewers have gotten to know Gary in a more in-depth way than other crew. Realizing quickly that Gary’s good at what he does professionally, Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers had to reckon with the fact that his attitude toward women is off-putting. With allegations lodged against Gary for sexual misconduct , many believe Gary is the problem on BDSY .

Gary’s Behavior Has Always Been Off-Putting

He’s been typecast as a playboy.

As a crew member in a position of power on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary ’s behavior on the sailing yacht has always been a bit uncomfortable to watch. While he works with the engineering team and has a close relationship with Captain Glenn Shephard , Gary’s one of the higher-ranked members of the yacht crew . With that ranking comes authority, even if he isn’t consistently working with the members of the interior crew who rank lower than him. His interpersonal relationships with the rest of the crew can be a bit more delicate because of his ranking, but Gary never cared.

Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s run, Gary has been consistently involved with women that he’s worked with in a more intimate nature. While he hasn’t been dating the women of the crews he’s been part of, his time on Parsifal III has nearly always led him into hookups with his fellow crewmates. Gary’s playboy status on Below Deck Sailing Yacht has seemed like a joke in the past, but when the pattern of his time aboard the sailing yacht is laid out, it’s clear that he’s always found someone to hook up with during his time on board Parsifal III.

Gary’s Sexual Misconduct Allegations Are Harrowing

He allegedly was rough with a below deck makeup artist.

After Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4’s reunion , it was revealed another season of the series would be filming quickly thereafter. After the filming had already begun, allegations of sexual misconduct against Gary came to light . Shared by a Below Deck franchise makeup artist, it was alleged that Gary was rough with Samantha Suarez when she tried to remove herself from his hotel room after trying to get him ready for his call time. While Gary has vehemently denied the allegations, the alleged victim said Gary made her feel uncomfortable and she wasn’t the first person this had happened to.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Has Been Finished For Ages

The season has been delayed without warning.

Although the allegations against Gary came out quickly after Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 started filming, Bravo didn’t do anything to change the trajectory of the season. Gary, who had been scheduled to film the upcoming season after BDSY season 4 along with Daisy Kelliher, was still a part of the crew and didn’t seem to be released from his role or fired from the crew. Instead, Gary continued on filming the next season of the series. While Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has been wrapped for over a year, the season still has yet to be released .

If Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Canceled, Gary Is To Blame

His behavior is the issue.

Although Gary’s behavior has been poor throughout the run of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, the allegations lodged against him are vastly different than his everyday playboy behavior. The idea that Gary could rattle someone as much as he may have during his off time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht is appalling, and while the allegations aren’t proven, it doesn’t take much to stretch the imagination and believe he likely did what was said. Even if he didn’t, Gary’s behavior on the series is poor enough that it seems plausible , which seems like enough of a reason to take immediate action.

If something happens to Below Deck Sailing Yacht, like a cancelation or a reshoot that causes a longer delay in the series return, I believe viewers should hold Gary accountable . Whether or not he actually behaved poorly with the Below Deck makeup artist who spoke up about her experiences with him, Gary’s time on the show has made women uncomfortable, and his behavior has been difficult to watch. If the series is canceled because Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 isn’t able to be aired, Gary’s the one who’s at fault for continuously behaving badly year after year.
