The 97’ raised pilot house SUNSEEKER 30M YACHT is an ideal yacht for socialising and entertaining with family and friends. Sunseeker built this motor yacht as part of their 30m series, while Don Shead Yacht Design was responsible for her naval architecture. Her tasteful and classic interior design was penned by Lina Botero.

Built in 2009 to RINA Pleasure craft rules classification in fibreglass with teak decks throughout, she features a planing hull. She is equipped with zero speed and underway stabilisation system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience.

Outside, this SUNSEEKER 30M YACHT offers plenty of opportunities for lounging, with two alfresco dining tables, a flybridge wet bar, and a large outdoor sofa aft, ideal for sunbathing, as well as a flybridge Jacuzzi.

Inside, she features timeless styling, beautiful furnishings, and comfortable seating throughout to create an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. Her main saloon follows a warm theme, with wooden walls and warm lighting to create a cosy ambience. ABOUT THE 30M

The Sunseeker 30M is a 98-foot luxury motor yacht with a flybridge that was produced by UK yacht-building company Sunseeker between 2008 and 2011. This vessel won the title for “Best in Class” at the 2009 Croatia Boat Show, with judges complementing the yacht’s classic good looks, sophisticated contemporary interiors, effortlessly cool outdoor lounge space and reliable seaworthiness. The 30M can be a rare find on the used and charter markets as once discerning Sunseeker owners get their hands on one, they do not want to let it go.

The teak-lined flybridge extends to an almost full-beam width of 22-feet at the rear, and there is enough space back here for a four-pad modular sunpad surrounding a circular hot tub. The rest of the bridge is covered by a fiberglass canopy with a retractable sunroof, and you will find a walk-in wet-bar with a marbled serving platform, an ice-chipper and an electric griddle in the shade, across from a U-shaped dining sofa with an extending timber table. At the front of the bridge there is a set of al-fresco helm controls, as well as a water-tight companionway door into the raised pilothouse, where you will be met by thruster controls, a joystick, three Simrad display panels, a depth-sounder, VHF radio and power-assisted steering.

One level down and you will discover the perfect spot for sunbathing out on the foredeck’s triple-width sunpad, while for sheltered relaxation you may wish to retreat to the aft-deck, where a transom sofa provides the ideal setting for an aperitif or two. Side steps lead down to a full-beam hydraulic swimming platform and a tender garage capable of hosting a Williams jet tender.

Curved sliding-glass doors lead you into a main deck salon that can be lined in your choice of black American walnut, glossy teak or cherry or satin-finished oak. A trio of leather sofas surround a bespoke coffee table and lead towards a formal dining table with room for up to eight guests. Also located on this level is an enclosed galley with solid work surfaces, Miele appliances, plenty of refrigerated storage and a breakfast bar. At the front of the main deck there is an owner’s stateroom that comes with its own dressing room, a private salon with an L-shaped sofa and a work-desk, a double bathroom and a king-sized island bed. On the lower deck there is room for up to six more overnight guests across a pair of en-suite twin bedrooms and a full-beam VIP stateroom with its own dressing room, a loveseat, mullioned windows and a work desk. A private crew quarters nestled up by the bow also sleeps up to four and comes with its own bathroom facilities, a mini-galley and a niche dinette lounge.

Though a sizeable yacht by anyone’s definition, the Sunseeker 30M moves across the water like a much smaller vessel thanks to a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M94 shaft-drive engines that deliver top speeds in excess of 28 knots. At cruising speeds of a sedate 10 knots, meanwhile, you can expect a range of up to 1,000 nautical miles, more than enough to plot the most ambitious itinerary overseas. A Don Shead-designed deep-V hull constructed out of fiberglass keeps this yacht well-balanced in a range of conditions, and finds that sweet spot between speed and capacity that leaves other yacht building firms feeling envious.
