€800k price drop on 36m Alloy sloop Miss Silver

The 36.1-metre sloop Miss Silver, listed for sale with Matthew Ruane of Cecil Wright & Partners , has had an €800,000 price reduction.

Built in aluminium at New Zealand-based yard Alloy Yachts in 1995, the fast cruising sloop was designed by Dubois Naval Architects and Redman Whiteley Dixon , a strong combination who have designed and built a number of award-winning sailing yachts.

Her broker pointed out: "She was built for an experienced owner who cherished her until 2019, when she was purchased by her second and present owner".

She underwent a multi-million-dollar refit from 2021 to 2022 and benefits from new joinery, fabrics, and furnishings, top-of-the-range audio-visual and IT equipment and a brand-new galley. Her exterior refit work included a full repaint, replacement of decks, new sails, helm stations and control systems.

Miss Silver can accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins, with a large master suite situated aft with en suite bathroom sporting a bath tub.

There is a further VIP and two twins for guests and quarters for a crew of five. Miss Silver benefits from both an upper deck saloon, with trademark Dubois wraparound windows, sporting seating and a navigation station, and lower saloon where the formal 10-person dining table is located to starboard opposite more comfortable seating.

On deck, guests can enjoy a large dedicated cockpit, with a further 10-seater dining table, shaded by a bimini while the crew carry out their sail handling operations aft. Twin helm stations ensure good visibility forward and performance is as expected from any Dubois yacht – fast. She most recently won the 2020 Millennium Cup. 

The 157GT sailing yacht for sale is powered by a single Lugger 500hp diesel giving a range of 4,800 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 12 knots.

Miss Silver is now asking €7,950,000 and is at anchor during the Monaco Yacht Show 2023.

MISS SILVER

MISS SILVER is a 36.12m sailing yacht built by the renowned Alloy Yachts shipyard. A collaboration between Alloy Yachts, Ed Dubois and Redman Whitley Dixon, this superyacht is a true thoroughbred sloop with four cabins. MISS SILVER was built for an experienced owner who cherished her from her delivery in 1995 until 2019, when she was purchased by her second and current owner. Designed as a fast cruising yacht, her sailing credentials remain undisputed - in 2020 she won the Millennium Cup.

In 2021, MISS SILVER returned to Auckland and underwent a complete refit from bow to stern. Her completely refurbished interior now features fabulous joinery, new fabrics and furniture, top-of-the-range audio-visual and IT equipment and a brand new galley. Outside, she has been repainted, her decks replaced and she has new sails, new helm stations, new control systems and new lighting. Re-launched in 2022 after this superb multi-million dollar refit, MISS SILVER is once again ready to cruise around the world.

The 36-metre Alloy Yachts sailing yacht Miss Silver has entered the market. The yacht for sale, previously named Sovereign , was delivered in 1995 from Auckland, New Zealand.

As the epitome of a performance cruiser, Miss Silver has proven herself worldwide cruising for over 25 years. Designed as a fast cruiser, her sailing credentials remain unquestioned, most recently being crowned the winner of the 2021 Millenium Cup in New Zealand. Following a hefty multi-million dollar refit in 2022, the yacht Miss Silver for sale is in pristine condition and ready to continue sailing around the world.

The sailing yacht for sale was designed by Dubois Naval Architects, who also completed her naval architecture. Inside, her interior was penned by RWD, who curated a comfortable space for guests to experience a relaxing, enjoyable cruise.

Her interior is bright and comfortable, with the light-coloured carpeting and fabrics nicely contrasting the dark wood joinery. The main saloon is incredibly spacious, with two floors worth of plush seating areas, a bar, and a walnut dining table that can seat up to 10 guests.

With 157 GT of interior volume and a four-stateroom configuration, comprising a full-beam master suite and three guest staterooms, Miss Silver can accommodate as many as eight guests. The Alloy Yachts yacht for sale is also able to carry a crew of five to ensure all the needs of her guests are met.

Guests can venture outside and relax in the shade under the covered cockpit, which also provides an alfresco dining area, perfect for evening drinks. Her decks and sails were replaced and exterior repainted, leaving her with a fresh, clean look.

In terms of performance, the all-aluminium yacht is powered by one Lugger engine, giving her a top speed of 12 knots, and a cruising speed of 10 knots. Click here to read the full article.
