Originally, christened as Northern Light, she enjoyed a decade long tenure under the ownership of a distinguished member of the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS). From 2010-2012, she was owned by Richard and Leslie Fairbanks who later did a total rebuild of the 1930 122ft motor yacht Atlantide.
Her next chapter can best be described as a nine-year stewardship, by a well-known gentleman with a history of famous yachts named “Mary A”, whereby he continued her legacy of meticulous care. During the years of 2020-2021, she underwent a comprehensive refit, full paint job, and an intensive 20-year Lloyds survey, ensuring her excellent condition and continued adherence to the highest standards.
Acquired in 2021, the current owner has traversed the Atlantic twice and explored Europe, New England, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, all while maintaining her impeccable state.
The interior boasts exquisite Honduran mahogany with traditional English raised paneling, enhancing the timeless feel of the yacht. The main salon offers a comfortable seating area leading to a separate formal dining space for 10 guests and is accentuated by exposed beams that highlight the vessel's graceful lines.
The owner's suite, situated beyond the foyer and staircase, boasts a study, full-beam bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, and an adjacent cabin offering versatile options for use as a 6th mini-stateroom or for other purposes.
On the lower deck, four additional guest suites offer luxurious retreats, comprising two double cabins forward and two twin cabins aft, each equipped with a Pullman berth. In total, “Berilda” comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests across 6 cabins, with quarters for a dedicated crew of 10.
The bridge deck lounge is basked in natural light and features beautiful hardwood floors, wrap-around sofa seating, and a marble-topped bar, providing a refined setting for relaxation and entertainment. Outside, the bridge deck offers an alfresco dining space with built-in semi-circular lounge areas aft. The sun deck features a jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads, a long bar with seating, and additional lounging areas with umbrellas for sun protection, perfect for leisurely days at sea.
Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines, “Berilda” achieves a cruising speed of 13 knots, and a 4600-mile trans-oceanic range (@10kts.), making her ideal for worldwide cruising. - Hauled to service Stabilizers in April 2021. Removed both fins, replaced port stabilizer shaft. All internal bearings and seals replaced plus renewed linkages and hydraulic hoses completed a major overhaul to the whole system.
- Anti-fouled vessel and replaced all Zinc’s and prop speed on all props.
October 2021 to January 2021
- Completed a full 20-year Lloyds survey by January 2021 so vessel is fully compliant with class. This survey included inspection and approvals after maintenance and compiling with surveyor demands and compliance in Structural/Mechanical/Tanks and Electrical systems etc.
- During mechanical Lloyds survey it was required to completely remove gearboxes from main engines to do a full rebuild, which included new pinion gears bearings seals etc. this was an intense project with time frame allowed and the location of work completed within the engine room. This basically Zeroed the hours of the Gearboxes.
- Complete repaint and clean of lower engine room bilge
- Replaced all 6 Miele Machines in the laundry with New Miele washer and dryers
October 2020 to June 2021
- Full Paint Refit, Superstructure and Hull, removal of every fitting, rail, Sat domes, Aerials, shell doors on every deck and in the hull. Removal of all varnished cap rails on all decks
- Full Antifoul
- Remodeled entire sundeck, new outboard Umbrellas. This included a complete re-designed bar with new fridges ice makers special lighting, New Speakers and large waterproof TV. Installed New Control 4 AV system control for music, light, TV etc.
- Replaced all external deck lights on all decks to LED

Raymond Young joined Hatteras of Lauderdale after graduating from University of Tampa, Florida. He has captained yachts extensively on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans including the Western Mediterranean. He currently holds a 1600 / 3000 Ton USCG Master License, as well as a MCA CLASS IV license.
Raymond has been involved with the construction of several large yachts including a custom 82' Hatteras, 112' Broward, 98' Westship, along with a 124', 141' and 157' Christensen. He managed each project from contract, to delivery, to captaining.
Over the past 20 years, Raymond has developed a wealth of knowledge from building, managing and running yachts. Raymond has established close relationships with shipyards, builders, designers, architects, yacht captains, and brokerage houses. Classic Feadship Motor Yacht BERILDA Opens for Year-Round Charters in the Bahamas

The recently rebuilt 38m/126ft superyacht BERILDA is available for charter year-round in the tropical cruising grounds of the Bahamas and Caribbean .
Originally launched in 1978, BERILDA is fresh from an extensive rebuild at the Front Street Shipyard in Maine, USA. Part of the Feadship Heritage Fleet, she fuses classic charm with all the comfort of a modern-day superyacht for a truly exceptional yacht charter experience.
The extensive transformation included a full repaint, the installation of upgraded systems and machinery, and new custom teak woodwork. Her interior was also refitted, with the master suite relocated from below to above decks, and new furniture and fittings throughout.
Now cruising the Caribbean and Bahamas , she is perfectly primed for outdoor living. On the sundeck, charter guests can unwind in the brand new Jacuzzi, soak up the sun on plush sunpads, sip cocktails at the granite-topped wet bar and enjoy movie nights under the stars thanks to a 120-inch projector screen.
There is also a large BBQ for delicious, freshly-grilled snacks, and gym equipment such as yoga mats, medicine balls and a Bowflex MAX Trainer for outdoor work outs. Alfresco-style dining, meanwhile, can take place in a climate controlled area on the main deck aft, offering fabulous sea views and the utmost comfort in all weather conditions.
The chic interior aboard classic yacht BERILDA combines handsome wooden wall panels with white upholstery for a timeless, welcoming feel. A huge L-shaped sofa and a range of entertainment options forms a lounge in the main salon, while a glass table seats up to 10 guests at formal dinner parties.
After a busy day on the water, the principal charterer can retreat into the new master suite. A large window floods the space with natural light, illuminating the large bed, custom teak cabinetry, his and hers closets and 60-inch flat screen TV. There is also an en-suite with an oversized laser-cut Danby marble shower.
Located on the lower deck, the other accommodation on board the classic yacht includes a full-beam VIP stateroom and three other staterooms. Such a setup means she is ideally suited for a private yacht charter , sleeping up to 10 guests in total.
Other highlights include a working study which also serves as a wine cellar. Offering fun and entertainment, however, is a wide selection of water toys, including two Zuma sailboats, inflatable paddleboards, kayaks, towable toys, fishing gear and snorkelling equipment.

U.S. authorities claim to be one step closer to proving a seized $300 million mega yacht is owned by sanctioned Russian Suleiman Kerimov, according to new court filings that detail alleged payments for the boat from the oligarch’s niece. The yacht, a 348-foot luxury vessel known as Amadea, was seized in Fiji in 2022 by local officials at the request of the United States, as part of the Justice Department’s ongoing efforts to identify and seize assets of sanctioned Russian oligarchs in the wake of Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Kerimov, known for throwing lavish parties and for his reportedly close relationship with Vladimir Putin, was sanctioned by the U.S. in 2018. Britain and the European Union later followed suit.

Prosecutors allege that new documents show Kerimov’s niece, Alisa Gadzhieva, entered into a loan agreement with the company that owns the yacht, Errigal Marine Limited, and then made two payments to Khudainatov’s holding company, Invest International Finance Ltd, Intelligence Online reported . “The United States takes sanction evasion seriously and will use all tools at its disposal to ensure that sanctioned individuals are held accountable for their crimes,” U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said in an earlier statement . The ship belongs to an array of high-value luxury items linked to Kerimov, including private jets and sportscars, like a $650,000 Ferrari that Kerimov totaled in a fiery crash on the French Riviera in 2006. The yacht’s seizure followed ICIJ’s Pandora Papers, which included revelations on the offshore financial empire of Kerimov and his closest associates. The investigation showed billions of dollars flowing through opaque offshore shell companies associated with Kerimov, and covert money flows tied to oligarchs and others close to the Kremlin. It also highlighted offshore professionals who have helped oligarchs secretly buy luxury assets like yachts and jets. Gadzhieva’s brother, Kerimov’s nephew Nariman Gadzhiev, is also under U.S. sanctions for allegedly serving as an assistant and financial facilitator for Kerimov. ICIJ’s reporting showed that, in 2012, a firm registered in Gadzhiev’s name worked with Credit Suisse to secure a $67 million loan for the acquisition of a custom-built Boeing 737 Business Jet as well as a Bombardier Global Express jet. A few years later, an article in Forbes Russia described Kerimov as owning the same kind of Boeing jet.  Pearl Yachts delivers first 25m model with private owner's terraceThe first unit in Pearl Yachts ' 25.3-metre series, christened Pearly Spencer , has been delivered following her debut at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival . According to BOATPro , she is now anchored in Port de Portals Nous in Palma, Mallorca. The Pearl 82 model sits between the shipyard's Pearl 95 and Pearl 72 offerings and features a raised pilothouse design with two aft deck configurations and a semi-walkaround deck with a forward master suite and private forepeak terrace. The company claims this model is the only yacht in its class to offer this type of configuration, and Pearl Yachts managing director, Iain Smallridge, called the 82 "the most compact superyacht on the market". The Pearl 82 builds on the collaboration between the shipyard and Bill Dixon whose studio, Dixon Yacht Design , created the exterior profile and naval architecture. Naturally, the model shares a sporty profile with the rest of the Pearl range with an exterior defined by four bands of dark glass. Owners are offered the choice between two aft deck arrangements: the "Riviera" configuration with aft-facing sunpads behind the table and a sofa set up, and the "Veranda" layout with pivoting seating that can be used for dining or for observing activities at sea. Fold-down bulwarks at this level expand the aft cockpit, while a tender garage offers storage for a Williams 345 tender – or similar – and a Jet Ski. All the outdoor areas can be protected by a foredeck Bimini, electric shades and the hard top on the flybridge, which can be set to full shade, adjustable louvres and full sun at the touch of a button. The owner's foredeck lounge is also connected to the flybridge deck and benefits from a full-sized dining table, a bar, a sunpad and a spa pool. Kelly Hoppen, another long-time Pearl Yachts collaborator, is responsible for the interior which accommodates up to 10 guests with a forward master suite that has access to a private bow terrace through a glass door. The remaining guest accommodation is found on the lower deck, configured as two twins and two doubles. "We've used beautiful materials, and the joinery and the detailing are absolutely intricate, but the feel of when you are on board is quite open plan, with these wonderfully enlarged windows, which make you feel that you are really out at sea, rather than being enclosed inside of a yacht," said Hoppen. Other interior highlights include a main saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows which, together with cut-out bulwarks, allow an abundance of natural light to fill the space. Forward is dining for all 10 guests with galley access to port. Engine room access, galley access and foredeck access are all positioned on the port side of the yacht, ensuring privacy for guests and crew. "The design revealed in Düsseldorf set the stage for what will be a truly spectacular world premiere at Cannes next September," Smallridge said at the yacht's launch in July 2024 . "This yacht is a testament to our feature-focused philosophy and innovative spirit, and to our dedication to pushing the limits of yacht design and flawless quality."
