    We decided to take a full day tour with catamaran to Cayo Blanco. Really nothing special, bad service, awful food, dirty beaches. Typical tourist trap that will attract anyone with wonderful pictures and promises. Not worth doing it, as beach in Varadero was much nicer. Date of experience: January 2014.

    Toilets are quite basic; may need a bucket to flush. It is Cuba, and you roll with it! Remember to Bring Kleenex/ toilet paper, Camera, a Towel, lots of drinking water and strong sunscreen (or Wear a T-shirt while snorkeling) etc. The Tropical sun is very strong especially reflected in the water.
