IPS engines, fitted on some Fountaine Pajot motor catamarans are designed to offer greater energy efficiency, which translates into better fuel economy compared to other systems of propulsion. The overall design of IPS engines aims to optimise a boat’s performance in terms of speed , manoeuvrability and fuel economy. And of course, IPS engines offer excellent manoeuvrability thanks to steerable propellors, thus facilitating manœuvres in tight spaces like harbours.

Spacious and comfortable when sailing, Fountaine Pajot motor yachts also offer fine cruising speed. Depending on the model and the engine installed on board, they can reach a max speed of 24 knots and 18 knots in fast cruising mode.

Power catamarans are naturally more efficient than monohull power boats . Depending on the model and the engine installed on board, at a high cruising speed, i.e. around 18 knots, motor yachts in the Fountaine Pajot range can reach between 260 and 425 nautical miles. At an “economical” cruising speed, they can reach up to 1000 nautical miles. The Power 67, the Flagship model in the range, can reach up to 4000 nautical miles at economy cruise speed. Thanks to its architecture with two floats and a central suspended platform, its mass is divided by two and better spread. Thinner hulls decrease the Archimedes thrust and require much less energy to move the keel through the water. Half the consumption of a monocoque is the result, increasing the range of motor catamarans for long crossings and long stays at anchor. For the same length, a catamaran gives much more living surface . The great width permits much more spacious cockpit space as well as a huge interior-exterior living space on one level,

Fountaine Pajot has perfected a resin injection and infusion technique, an advanced technology that gives our boats all their robustness. New sailing luxury catamaran by Fountaine Pajot shipyard

Fountaine Pajot unveiled its largest flagship, the New 80, in early September 2022. It was christened THIRA 80 at the Cannes International Yachting Festival in early September 2023 during its World Premiere.

This luxury yacht combines the notorious performances of the brand to the emblematic Fountaine Pajot sleek look : inverted bows, rooftop line and large portholes for you to benefit from a beautiful seaview.

The fittings are also remarkable, with great quality materials and a distinguished aesthetic .

Main deck versatility for great leasure time

Fountaine Pajot's architects, together with Berret Racoupeau Design, have worked to offer great spaces to both share friendly or spend cosy moments.

The Beach Club platform at the rear of the vessel creates a very large swimming and leasure area, between both transoms.  It is ideal for chilling or practicing watersports. Storing areas are located on the main deck for all your toys. A very large sunbed is located above the plaform, at the rear of the cockpit and oriented towards the back of the boat.

The cockpit sheds a very large table to welcome up to 10/12 guests, as well as various sofas and an staircase access to the flybridge. It also allows access to the VIP cabin or to one of the crew cabins.

Opening wings are a fantastic new feature on this Fountaine Pajot 80 catamaran! Enjoy the view from a comfortable sofa on both sides of the cockpit!

The front cockpit is accessible both from the deck sides and a sliding door from the inside. It features a large saloon and bar area, as well as a jacuzzi at the front at starboard. On the starboard side, a hatch allows access to a crew cabin.

Large flybridge and independant double steering area

At the front of the flybridge, the captain and crew have a safe and great space to manoeuver from both steering wheels and central winches.

The back of the flybridge offers a lot of friendly space in its large lounge with three large sofas, a dining area and a bar .

The flybridge is optimized with solar panels all around for a significant energy supply, as well as on the hartop!

Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 saloon area & cabins

The yacht salon is very bright with lots of natural light through the large windows, which also allow 360° visibility.

This area is very large and contains a lounge area, a dining table, a chart table and a bar. You may choose between a galley up or galley down . Large staircases lead from the salon to the cabins, both at rear and front. 

The luxurious cabins depend on the layout you chose. They all offer a great view onto the horizon through large portholes. The Maestro cabin is superb with a large bed, a desk and sofa, and an incredible bathroom featuring a jacuzzi bath and a spa shower.

Both the bow and stern cockpits have large reception and seating areas. Both cockpits have direct access to the saloon. All cabins, both master and guest, are real suites, decorated in the spirit of large yachts, with unobtrusive luxury and thought out to the smallest detail, with leather upholstery and furniture with wood and leather trim. The bathrooms are designed in the spirit of the SPA and include a jacuzzi in the owner's cabin. Cabin, walk-in closet, bathroom… everything you would expect from the world of motor yachts.

Le look du THIRA 80 sont emblématiques du chantier : c’est un catamaran à voile aux étraves inversées, avec la  ligne typique du roof et de très larges hublots pour une belle vue mer.

Un pont principal sous la signe de convivialité et du loisir

Avec son pont principal amélioré, ce yacht de luxe offre toujours plus de convivialité . De nombreux espaces sont prévus pour partager des moments uniques.

Le Beach Club et sa généreuse plateforme

Situé à l’arrière du catamaran de luxe, le Beach Club permet de profiter au mieux de la mer. C’est pourquoi Fountaine Pajot a pensé aux moindres détails, pour vous proposer un espace à la fois agréable et pratique .

Les jupes arrières sont spacieuses et accessibles depuis le cockpit arrière par 4 larges marches. L’immense plateforme s’abaisse entre les 2 jupes arrières pour former un espace inégalé, idéal pour la baignade, la plongée et autres sports nautiques, ou simplement le farniente les pieds dans l’eau ! 

Des coffres de rangement sont disponibles au dessus des jupes arrières pour disposer tous vos équipements et jouets nautiques.

A l’arrière du cockpit, un très large bain de soleil vous permet de partager ces moments tout en vous relaxant et en contemplant l’horizon. 

Les amateurs de sports nautiques ne sont pas en reste avec le rangement spécifique prévu pour un scooter sous le bain de soleil arrière.

Un cockpit pour accueillir confortablement 10 à 12 convives

Une grande banquette en L et des fauteuils accueillent vos invités autour d’une grande table , sur la gauche du cockpit arrière. Face à elle, un coin salon est constitué d’un long sofa. A l’arrière se situe une grande banquette faisant face au carré.

L’espace convivial du cockpit se prolonge sur le Beach Club , avec deux banquettes en L situées de part de d’autre du cockpit autour du large bain de soleil.

Un escalier mène au flybridge, tandis que de larges portes coulissantes donnent directement sur l’intérieur, avec un immense carré en continuité du cockpit arrière.

Sur les côtés du cockpit, les pavois basculants latéraux prolongent le tout et vous ouvrent l’espace sur la mer. De confortables banquettes y font face pour contempler la vue.

Vous trouverez également à l’arrière deux accès vers les coques :

• Un accès à babord vers la cabine d’équipage,
• Un accès à tribord vers la Suite Propriétaire ou Cabine VIP (selon version).

Le pont avant sous le signe de la détente… et de la fête 

Le cockpit avant est un superbe espace que vous pourrez investir pour de merveilleux moments de farniente : bronzer sur les immenses bains de soleil , vous détendre dans le jacuzzi , feuilleter un magazine confortablement installé dans un des deux grands sofas , passer de doux moments en amoureux…

C’est aussi un espace très accueillant pour un moment festif, par exemple une soirée cocktail en musique avec vos invités ! Un bar est situé à babord du pont près des banquettes.

A la pointe babord, un hublot permet l’ accès à une cabine équipage.

Une large porte coulissante donne sur l’intérieur , pour faciliter la circulation entre le carré et le pont avant.

Flybridge spacieux et confortable, avec un espace dédié pour le double poste de barre

Accessible par des marches depuis le cockpit arrière, le flybridge comporte deux espaces bien distincts : 

• un espace réservé à l’équipage avec deux postes de barre , un winch centralisé, et des vitrages dans le hard top permettant une visibilité sur le mât.
• un espace convivial avec trois banquettes, proposant un salon, une grande table à manger, et un bar.

Le flybridge est entouré de panneaux solaires à babord, à tribord, à l’avant et à l’arrière, mais également sur le hard top ! L’espace est optimisé pour permettre un apport énergétique conséquent.

Le carré cosy et lumineux du Fountaine Pajot THIRA 80

Accessible par les portes coulissantes du cockpit arrière ou par celle du pont avant, le carré du Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 propose un coin salon, une table à manger, un bar (ou une cuisine selon la version choisie), et une table à carte avec bureau.

Vous bénéficiez d’une luminosité et d’une visibilité incroyables grâce aux grands vitrages. Profitez de l’horizon et des paysages à 360 degrés !

Des escaliers à l’avant et à l’arrière du carré mènent aux cabines dans les coques babord et tribord.

Les cabines somptueuses du catamaran de luxe Fountaine Pajot 80 offrent toutes une belle visibilité grâce à de larges hublots , ainsi que leur propre salle de bain. Les larges lits font face à la mer, pour une vue inégalée sur l’horizon. 

Un accès depuis le cockpit avant dessert soit la Suite Propriétaire soit la Suite VIP, selon la version que vous avez choisie.

La cabine Maestro bénéficie d’un beau dressing, d’un espace de travail avec bureau et d’une banquette. Sa salle de bain est très spacieuse, avec une baignoire jacuzzi ainsi qu’un espace douche – spa.

Relaxation and High-end Features

Both the forward and aft cockpits enjoy large reception and relaxation areas, with double direct access to the saloon. The cabins, true suites and guest rooms, have been designed in the spirit of great yachts, with unostentatious luxury, and finished down to the finest detail, with leather upholstery and furniture featuring wood and leather trim. The bathrooms are reminiscent of a spa and include a Jacuzzi in the owner’s cabin.

The saloon, with its large sliding glass windows, has intuitive circulation. As on deck, it is organised around a lounge, a bar, a chart table area with a wonderful separate desk where leather upholstery and topstitching are again to be found. Cabin, dressing room, bathroom… everything you’d expect in the world of motor yachts.

Original deck ergonomics

While retaining the Fountaine Pajot signature, the Thira 80 is a genuine super yacht with new and original spaces that you won’t find on other models of this size.

Exclusive new features include:

• Two side cockpits with opening wings
• A Beach Club that’s 100% overlooking the sea to make the most of the anchorages
• Storage spaces have been designed for all the toys, including forward lockers for paddleboards or scuba gear, and at the stern, a specific storage area for a water scooter under the large central bench seat

Elegance and FP DNA

In true Fountaine Pajot style, you’ll find the line of the coachroof and the large windows giving an exceptional view of the sea, thanks to the glazed areas descending lower than the deck edge. The flybridge offers a magnificent area with dedicated relaxation, reception and navigation areas. The twin helm stations have been re-centred, with a winch for sailing manoeuvres positioned away from the relaxation areas. A real work area is thus reserved and protected for the crew.
