It is the southernmost harbour in Montenegro. It is very popular destionation for tourists. The winds are strong and the shelter is moderate to good in settled weather. Most vessels tend to anchor off in the bay.

Ulcinj is a popular tourist destination in summer. In January 2010, the New York Times named ranked the south coast region of Montenegro, featuring Velika Plaza, Ada Bojana, and the Hotel Mediteran, as one of "The Top 31 Places to Go in 2010".

Although still undiscovered by many travelers from larger countries, repeat tourists and an increasing amount of first time visitors make Ulcinj a hot spot for vacationers between the months of May and September. It is most famous for its sandy beaches, which are considered the most beautiful in Montenegro. The most valuable resource of the Ulcinj riviera is Velika plaža (Albanian: Plazha e Madhe, English: Long Beach), which is a 12 km (7.5 mi) long stretch of sandy beach and the longest beach on the Montenegrin coast. There is a small pebble beach called Ladies Beach which folk tradition holds to have qualities conducive to fertility. There is also a beach called Mala plaža (Albanian: Plazha e Vogël, English: Small Beach) which is much smaller in size, but is located in the centre of town and very popular with visitors. "The Korzo", as it is called by locals, is a promenade which separates a street lined with coffee shops from Mala plaža. At night during the summer months, the Korzo is pedestrianised and families and young people gather. There are many more less known smaller beaches that serve as get-aways from the main tourist areas. Ulcinj has also a large number of religious buildings like mosques, tyrbes and churches, including: Pasha's Mosque, Sailors' Mosque and St. Nicholas' Church.

Ulcinj's old town is a well preserved castle-looking community that is left over from medieval times. The old town sits atop a mountain overlooking the shore and is a tourist attraction on its own.

There are numerous cafés, discos, and bars that dot the city that are usually filled to capacity throughout the summer.

Budva is a Montenegrin town on the Adriatic Sea, former bishopric and present Latin Catholic titular see. The coastal area around Budva, called the Budva riviera, is the center of Montenegrin tourism, known for its well-preserved medieval walled city, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife.

The Bar municipality has over 44 kilometres (27 miles) of sea coast. There are twenty beaches stretching over 9 kilometres (6 miles). In the north is Čanj, which has a 1,100-metre (3,600-foot) sandy beach.

Highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for a memorable adventure on the water!

Nice boat and captain. We did family trip. I would prefer higher speed, especially in Bar area. Also with low speed one can smell gases. There were no snacks or drinks, despite stated in advert. Good swimming.

Truly an breathtaking experience! Everything was perfect! Jake and his crew were really friendly and as experienced divers they took us to places we couldn’t even imagine. The boat was amazing too and you truly feel like a rockstar driving around it 😎 I am visiting Montenegro now for over 15 years and this boat trip was by far the best travel experience I have ever had! 10/10 everything would give even more stars if that would have been possible

Welcome to the picturesque Ulcinj harbor.

Approaching Ulcinj Marina is a delightful experience. The marina is open to the south, and while southerly winds may cause waves, it remains accessible and safe for boaters. You can moor your vessel sideways to the shore, and smaller boats can find protection in a few sheltered harbors. The water depth in this area is approximately 1 meter.

The harbor bay in Ulcinj often experiences rough conditions due to swells. The sole available berth is located on the northern side of the bay, along the quay wall of the old town peninsula. This berth also serves as the pier for the small Marina Kacema, situated in the heart of the old town. The water depth at the quay wall at Rt. Barjak measures 4 meters, gradually decreasing to 2 meters on the outer side of the harbor pier.
