Have you been on any of Yacht Starship’s dinner cruises? If so, you already know the cruises with them are a good time. The Rock the Yacht party cruise is no exception! From now until September 1st, you’ll have the chance to spend your Saturday night aboard the premiere party cruise in the Tampa Bay area. The cruise will last for two and a half hours and is already available to book now!

What you’ll get

The party starts with 30 minutes spent dockside before boarding the cruise. While you’re on the ship, you’ll have the chance to enjoy entertainment on multiple different decks. Each week, there will be a band performing live music of varying genres, from country to latin to rock and more! You can look up which bands are performing each week here and book your cruise based on what musical style you like best. Besides live music, there will also be a cash bar with a variety of drink options, including some great cocktails. During the cruise, you’ll also have a fantastic view of Tampa lit up at night.

The Details

Bookings for this party cruise experience are currently open for a $35 general admission price that includes the 30 minutes dockside, two and a half hour cruise, cash bar, and bagged snacks available for purchase. For the $55 VIP price, you’ll get all that plus VIP red carpet boarding with minimal lines as well as two premium cocktails, access to private VIP areas and a dedicated cocktail server. There is no reserved seating on these party cruises and they will run rain or shine!

When you choose the 8 or 7 hour trips, we will take you to Pine Key Island. This island is only accessible by boat. It is truly one of the most unique islands in Florida that is enjoyed EXCLUSIVELY by boaters. Regardless of the length of your trip, you will have access to a large floating “Lily Pad” for swimming safely behind the boat. This floating foam island allows you to rest, kick-back, tan, hang out, or lounge… It is the ultimate water playground for the entire family!

Things to Keep in Mind:

• Per Federal US Coast Guard Regulations, maximum 13 passengers allowed. No exceptions will be made.
• The Yacht has surround system throughout, you can stream your favorite playlist from your i- phone.
• This vessel comes with life jackets, emergency and first aid kits. If you have known allergies or medical requirements, please bring medication in the event of an emergency.
• Your day begins at the time stated in your signed Charter Agreement. If you are late to the dock, we will not adjust the duration of the trip, we must follow the Charter Agreement.
• Children are allowed on board and are counted as a passenger.
• Shoes must be removed before entering the yacht. Barefoot or socks but no shoes allowed.
• We require 50% down to secure the date and the balance is due 20 days prior to your trip.

What Not to Bring:

• Chocolate of any kind.
• Confetti cannons or glitter of any kind are prohibited.
• Smoking is not allowed, vaping only.
• Spray sunscreen is not allowed. Lotion only.
• Shoes must be removed before entering the yacht.
• Parking is very limited at the marina, please plan accordingly. Only 2 vehicles allowed.

We have a bathroom on board and you are welcome to bring a small cooler with your own beverages. Alcohol is okay with a valid ID. No Cork Fee!

Private Hourly Charters

Choose your start and end time as long as it is available.

• Choose the route for your private event as long as it is legal and accessible during your chosen start and end time.
• Our pick-up location is at the Tampa Center Marina entrance located in front of the Sail Pavilion Bar. Other nearby locations are possible, but would need to be confirmed ahead of time.
• Your event is for your guests only.
• We provide free bottled water.
• Alcohol is allowed as long as persons drinking are 21 or older. There are no corkage fees on our boat.
• Food can be brought on-board however, no cooking is permitted.
• Music can be played via Bluetooth through our sound system.
• The Captain, Deckhand, gas and bottled water are all included.
• You may have up to 35 people in your group. The pricing is the same whether you have 1 person or 35.  Children of any age count towards your 35-passenger capacity.

The cost for a private charter is $400 for the first hour, $300 for each additional hour, plus sales tax, 10% private charter service charge and 10% cleaning fee. Time after 10pm is an additional $100 per hour on top of normal rates. 

Pine Key/Beer Can Island Private Charters

This is done only as a private charter trip for you and your guests. We do not offer a public taxi service to the island.

• Four hours is provided for this trip as it is approximately one hour each way. Hours can be chosen as long as they are between 10am – 5pm.
• Our pick up is at the Tampa Convention Center Marina entrance located in front of the Sail Pavilion Bar. Other nearby locations are possible, but would need to be confirmed ahead of time.
• We will provide free bottled water.
• You may have up to 35 people in your group. The pricing is the same whether you have 1 person or 35. Children of any age count towards your 35-passenger capacity.

The cost for a 4-hour trip to Pine Key/Beer Can Island is only $1200 plus sales tax, 10% private charter service charge and 10% cleaning fee. 

Fantasy Island Private Charter

For those that want to just take a quick dip in the water. This island is not an island you walk on but you hang out at by boat.

• A minimum 3 hours is needed for this trip as it is approximately 45 minutes each way. Hours can be chosen as long as they are between 10am – 5pm.
• Alcohol is allowed as long as persons drinking are 21 or older. There are no corkage fees on our boat.
• Food can be brought on-board however, no cooking is permitted.
• Music can be played through our sound system.

The cost for a 3-hour trip to Fantasy Island is $1000 plus sales tax, 10% private charter service charge and 10% cleaning fee. Additional hours can be added on at the hourly rate.

*NOTE: Please allow plenty of time to locate a parking spot or utilize the parking garage located at 141 E. Brorein Street, Tampa, FL 33602. Once inside the parking garage, use the exit doors that say Tampa Convention Center. They will bring you to Channelside and S. Franklin St. Continue walking South on S. Franklin and the boat will be in the marina behind the Tampa Convention Center on your right side. We are at the seawall directly in front of the Sail Pavilion bar at the entrance to the marina.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.
