"Metanoia" just relocated (Jan 2024) from the Chesapeake Bay down to Stuart, FL to encourage a sale. The owner and a highly regarded captain did the trip in four days and the boat performed flawlessly. This boat has the versatility to cruise at 25 knot or at hull speed, benefits from the reliability of inboards vs. pod drives, has a draft that makes her perfect for the islands, an air draft that makes he perfect for the Great Loop and a layout that is unheard of in a 45 foot boat. Perferct owner operator cruising boat that can truly do it all and with the comfort of a SeaKeeper stabilizer. Owners' new boat has arrived and they are motivated to sell.

History of Ferretti Yachts

Norberto and Alessandro Ferretti opened the doors of Ferretti Yachts in Italy in 1968. Initially, the brothers were owner/operators of a luxury car dealership, but an affinity for yachts led to their creation of a 32-foot (10m) motor/sailer that debuted in 1971 at the Genoa Boat Show. The yacht was met with much acclaim and by 1975 the brothers set aside their car business to focus solely on building yachts; and ones that truly revolutionized the industry. Ferretti’s power yachts were complete with stern bridges that opened to cockpits — this had not yet been seen on the market. The brand continues to grow, garnering notable customers such as Sophia Loren, Richard Burton and Brigette Bardot. Since then, the brand has gained notoriety around the world as a leader in yacht building. By the mid-2000s Ferretti’s annual revenue topped $550 million, proving the company’s popularity has never waned. With more than 60 dealers located in 80 different countries around the world, Ferretti boasts a global presence that allows it to serve its customers no matter where they cruise. Ferretti Yacht Models

Ferretti 450.

The Ferretti 450 is a 46-foot (14m) stylish, comfortable cruiser ideal for day cruising, fishing and generally enjoying life at sea. The yacht features ample spaces for lounging in the sun from the flybridge to the bow. Six guests are accommodated in a master, a VIP and a guest cabin. Each features large windows providing views and natural light. An additional two-cabin layout is available. Both options come with two heads. Diesel engines in 480 or 550mph varieties power the yacht to reach speeds in the upper 20-knot range.

Ferretti 550

The 57-foot (17.3m) 550 flybridge by Ferretti is exceptional from her keel through every interior space. Three beautiful staterooms welcome up to six guests for a sophisticated on-water experience. The Ferretti 550 yacht is able to cruise at 26 knots and run at 30 knots thanks to her twin diesel engines. Powerful and sporty, she is perfect for day cruising and weekends at sea. Her interior spaces are elegant. From her relaxing main salon with high-quality detailing to her lavish formal dining space.

Ferretti 670

The Ferretti 670 is a tech-savvy 66-foot (20.1m) cruiser with incredible style and grace on the water. Unveiled at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival, the 670 is the latest evolution of Ferretti’s mid-range yachts. Replacing the 650, the 670 is a beamier version of its predecessor. Designed by Filippo Salvetti, it is available in a three- and four-cabin layout — all staterooms are en-suite in the three-cabin layout; the fourth cabin does not have an en-suite. The lavish interior offers a split-level main deck and large windows. The yacht’s spacious exterior features a 260-square-foot flybridge and a foredeck with a lounge that includes a sunpad, sofas, sunshade and more.

Ferretti 720

The newest evolution in the Ferretti family, the 720 is a 73-foot (22.2m) beauty, which moves away from the brand’s more traditional aesthetics to showcase a brand-new look. The 720’s sleek, sporty look is enhanced by a large salon window and the unique curve of the superstructure. The flybridge harkens back to traditional Ferretti good looks and the equilibrium of old and new creates perfection. Four staterooms welcome up to eight guests aboard and one crew cabin is available.

Ferretti 780

Ferretti’s 780 is a 78-foot (23.7m) stunner. A collaborative design with Zuccon International Project, she joined the Ferretti family in 2016, replacing the 750. This beamy beauty features an open layout as the bridge flows to the galley, which flows into the main salon ensuring entertaining is a breeze. A door can close the bridge off from the rest of the deck if requested. The bridge is extremely high spec and high tech. Four guest cabins, including a full-beam master, two twins (one of which can be converted into a double) and a VIP, all are outfitted for comfort and style.

Ferretti 850

The interior design team of Ferretti joined forces with the Zuccon International Project, which created the exterior, to build the 85-foot (25.9m) Ferretti 850. With an open layout, four below deck staterooms, including a spacious master suite, and accommodations for four crew, this luxury yacht is the height of sophistication. The interior is completely outfitted for comfort and style while the exterior spaces are perfect for enjoying the sunshine — the flybridge’s seating alone is impressive. Able to reach up to 31 knots, the 850 combines performance and impeccable design.

Ferretti 920

The 93-foot (28.3m) Ferretti 920 was built in conjunction with Zuccon International Project. This unique luxury yacht debuted at the 2017 Cannes Yachting Festival. One of her stand-out features is a raised bow that allowed for the master suite to be situated on the main deck. This raised bow is the largest of any in the Ferretti range and features a sunning spot with a dinette and sofas. Added awnings provide shade if desired. Aft, the yacht’s beach club allows easy access to the water. The flybridge has alfresco dining and a full bar for guests to enjoy. Capable of carrying eight guests in the on-deck master and three additional below-deck cabins, as well as three crew, the 920 is ideally suited for entertaining at sea. She also is extremely seaworthy, offering all the performance expected by a Ferretti yacht.

Ferretti 960

The largest of the Ferretti range, the idea behind this 95-foot (28.9m) yacht was to build a yacht with all of the amenities of a 100-foot-plus (30.48m) vessel, but small enough to be classed by the European Union authority a pleasure boat. The 960 fits all these criteria and more. From the main-deck master to the four beautiful staterooms below to the expansive alfresco living areas, the 960 offers exactly what you’d expect on any superyacht. Her garage system, that allows the swim platform to submerge to access the tender and water toys, wows those who wouldn’t expect such capabilities for a yacht smaller than 100 feet (30.48m). Without sacrificing performance for style, the 960 achieves all you’ve come to expect from a Ferretti. She is able to reach 30 knots and cruises at 26.

The big news from Ferretti this year at the Cannes Boat Show is the second model in the Infynito range, the Ferretti Infynito 80

Like its bigger sister, the Infynito 95 , the Infynito 80 is all about comfort, volume and refinement rather than sporty looks and high speed. To that end it features a bluff bow, a wide beam of almost 21ft (6.36m) and a raised pilothouse design that frees up the main deck for more entertaining space.

However, the defining feature of every Infynito is the unusual covered foredeck lounge dubbed the ‘all-season terrace’. With its louvred sunroof and privacy-glass bow window, it provides enough shelter to use all year round while still allowing guests to enjoy the views and feeling of being outside.

With the helm up above, the main deck is given over to entertaining

Owners can choose to have this fitted with either an extending dinette for alfresco meals or a bar and stools with a full-width opening window into the galley. With no lower helm to worry about, this galley area occupies the entire front section of the saloon, leaving the rear half free for a large lounge and either an inside bar or dining area.

While the 95 is a proper tri-deck model with a fully enclosed upper deck, this new 80 has a more conventional open flybridge with a hard top over the front half. Owners can opt to have the windscreen and side windows raised to meet this and create a semi-enclosed area if they feel the need for more protection.

Power comes from a pair of conventional 1,200hp MAN diesels, giving a modest top speed of 21 knots and a cruising range of 1,000nm at 12 knots. In keeping with the trend for silent running at anchor, it packs a lithium-ion battery with sufficient grunt to power all the ship’s systems overnight without needing to fire up the generator.

Ferretti will also be exhibiting a facelifted version of its popular 670 flybridge. As well as tweaks to the exterior styling and interior fit-out, it features a new flybridge layout with more seating, a better dining area, an aft sunpad and a hard top with sunroof. No images of it have yet been released.
