Day Sailing Packages

5 hour day cruise up to 6 persons,

This package is popular for families and for social fun meetings,  can be with dinner, table below seating for 4, if party of 6 two persons can eat up topside. This is a popular morning cruise. We generally try to leave the dock by 8:30 to 9am depending afternoon cruise bookings.

Dinner Cruise add $35 per plate to any package 

Sun set cruises $200 per couple one couple minimum. $75 per person after minimum, departs 3.5 hours before sunset, 4 hour cruise

This is a 24 hour cruise for up too 4 persons. Flat rate of $900.00 departs at 7pm overnights in either Galveston or at anchor in the bay, returns at 7pm the following day. Serving snacks meal 1st night, breakfast cooked aboard vessel following morning and lunch meal mid day, with light dinner cooked aboard vessel last evening.

Special Sailing packages

Starlight sailing  12 hour one couple overnight cruise $500. couple will have dinner and breakfast aboard the vessel. Couple sleeps in captains quarters. up to 4 persons ($750 for 4)

24 hour Cruise. This cruise will start either on Friday evening or Saturday depending on schedule of other cruises. $800 for 4 persons.

3 meals a day provided on the boat (one light meal). We will sail from Kemah to Galveston and Back

Weekend Sailing cruise 4 persons 2 days 1 night 3 meals a day aboard the vessel. Vessel Goes Off shore, overnight in Galveston or Freeport.

$1500. You can become part of the crew and help sail the vessel.

To have  a safe, unforgettable experience while sailing the Galveston Bay and hopefully get you hooked on Sailing.

SAILING TOURS!

Sailing charters (start as low as $399 up to 6 people for 4 hours).

Includes Captain, tax, fuel, waste, cleaning and insurance. 

3 easy steps: 1) Choose a day and time. 2) Call to verify availability. 3) Make deposit to save the date.

Recommend starting the reservation process ASAP. First come first serve basis, so booking is restricted to availability.

We will meet at the marina, where there will be parking for your vehicle, and we will return to the same location after the sail.  For your convenience, we will provide soft drinks and water. You are welcome to bring your favorite drink ((BYOB) no glass containers please).  You can also bring your favorite tunes to listen while on the water (bluetooth or cable). We should have cell phone coverage during the tour.

What to bring:  Drinks (alcohol is permitted, no glass please) , Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Hats, Jackets, Blankets, Towels, Cameras, Child's life jacket.

We are bilingual (hablamos español).

Private Charters FAQ's

Where is the Boardwalk FantaSea yacht located? The Boardwalk FantaSea is docked at the Beast Dock behind the Lighthouse Buffet. View Directions .

What is the cruising route? The cruising route takes you from the panoramic views of the Kemah Boardwalk into Galveston Bay and Clear Lake, where you can enjoy the scenic waterscapes and beautiful homes along the way.

Will we get seasick? Both the substantial length and breadth of our luxury yacht; as well as, the protected waterways on which we travel, provide premium conditions for a stable and pleasant cruise. Getting seasick under these conditions is unlikely. On occasion, inclement weather conditions dictate our route and if the waves on Galveston Bay are choppy and uncomfortable, the Captain may elect to further explore the sights on Clear Lake to ensure a delightful cruise for everyone. It is recommended that guests who have a history of seasickness take preliminary precautions to avoid this just in case. Crew members cannot give out medicine aboard the yacht.

What about inclement weather? Rain or inclement weather in most cases does not present a problem. Other than the aft lower deck, the upper promenade deck and the bow perimeter -which are the perfect spots to venture out to when the weather is suitable- our yacht is enclosed and climate controlled.

Are the plasma TV screens available for client use? Yes! We encourage our guests to incorporate the two 48" LED Screens with their cruise. We have the capability to play DVD's. For a wedding event, you may want to show family photos throughout the reception. They are also a great asset for proms, reunions, anniversary and corporate events. Your personal Cruise Consultant is the avenue to gain all the details. Unlimited use of the LED screens is complimentary.

Is it permitted to add to the décor of the vessel? Yes! Please discuss your ideas with your Cruise Consultant. Our professional interior designer has tastefully appointed the vessel with just the perfect amount of nautical flare. As this is your cruise, our goal is to provide what you require, though a few safety limitations may apply.

How do we reserve the vessel for private charters? Reserving the vessel requires a signed contract and a $2,000 deposit. Deposits will be applied to the balance of your cruise.

When is final payment for private charters due? Final payment for your event is required 5 days prior to departure. Your Cruise Consultant will assist with any questions or details.

Is there a processing fee for using a credit card? We do not charge a processing fee.

Is there a fuel surcharge on private charters? We do not charge a fuel surcharge.

Once the contract has been signed may I change the guest count? Yes! We realize that friends and relatives will be excited about your upcoming event on a luxury yacht and would like to be included. Your final guest count is due 5 days prior to your event.

May I use my personal choice of vendor? (Photographer, Florist, Entertainment)? The Staff at Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht Charters has carefully selected vendors that have a fantastic reputation for delivering great results. We have had some creative opportunities in the past with customer provided vendors.

What is the difference between "boarding time" and "cruising time?" "Boarding Time" is the earliest time guests may board the ship. You are allowed to board any time after that up until the "Cruising Time" at which point the vessel will set sail. Boarding for most trips is 30 minutes prior to "Cruising Time."

Are children allowed on dinner cruises? Children are welcome on most of the Boardwalk FantaSea's cruises. A ticket is needed per person to board, regardless of age.

What size groups can the Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht accommodate? We accommodate groups from 2 to 128. Our fabulous Public Cruises are a great venue for smaller groups like families and office parties. For private events such as Holiday parties and weddings, the Boardwalk FantaSea can accommodate groups up to 128.

Are there restrooms on board? Yes, there are full size lavatories on each level of the ship. A men's and a women's "head" on the Main Deck and one unisex facility on the Second Deck.

How many people may be seated at one table? Anywhere from 2 to 10 people may be seated at one table; table sizes include 4 guests, 6 guests, 8 guests or 10 guests.

Is smoking allowed on the cruise? Smoking is allowed on the outside open-air decks. Use of provided ashtrays is mandatory to eliminate litter. Don't Mess with Texas ~ we love our coastline!

Can we get married on the boat with a party of less than 20? Yes, we can accommodate small wedding parties. Call Boardwalk FantaSea Yacht Charters at 281-538-9600 for information about FantaSea's fabulous "Mini-Monies."

I do not have a credit card. How can I make reservations? Cash, money order, or cashier's check can be paid at our Boardwalk FantaSea office located at #8 Kemah Boardwalk, Suite G (located next door to the Boardwalk Inn Lobby). Call (281) 538-9600 to schedule a time to make a payment and for details. We do not accept personal checks for a public cruise ticket.

Is the Boardwalk FantaSea wheelchair accessible? Boardwalk FantaSea Cruises are not 100% wheelchair accessible. We do have an accessible ramp and will do our best to accommodate everyone. We cannot guarantee 100% accessibility due to low tides, high tides and/or door width – based on wheelchair size.

Public Charters FAQ's

Is there a processing fee for using a credit card? We do not charge a processing fee for public cruises.

I need to cancel my cruise, what can I do? Please note that your tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you give us an advance notice (48 hours or more prior to your cruise departure), we are able to offer a one-time courtesy reschedule to another available cruise date up to six months from the date of your original purchase. If you miss your cruise, we will not be able to issue a refund or reschedule your cruise.

Can I bring a birthday cake on board? The Boardwalk FantaSea welcomes guests to bring a small cake on board for their group to enjoy. Please be sure to notify the sales team of any celebration upon reservation as we may be able to offer you special services for special occasions such as cakes, champagne flutes, boarding photos and upgraded wines by the bottle or and even over night accommodations at the Boardwalk Inn Hotel.

What is the standard dress attire? Dinner Cruises: Usually business casual or dressy casual attire. For special occasions such as New Year's and Mother's Day guests usually dress more formally; suit jackets and cocktail attire.

Do you offer Gift Cards? Yes! Landry's, Inc. Gift Cards are accepted for public cruises on the Boardwalk FantaSea. These gift cards are valid at over 200 Landry's, Inc. locations nationwide! You may order a Landry's, Inc. Gift Card online by following this link: Landry's Gift Card.

If you wish to purchase a gift card over $200.00, please contact our Corporate Gift Card Department at 1.800.5.LANDRY (552-6379) and a dedicated gift card specialist will be happy to assist!

Is there pre-assigned seating? Depending upon capacity of individual trips, our crew will either allow open "cruise ship" style seating or have an assigned seating arrangement. "Cruise ship" style seating can be described as such; tables ranging in size from 4 guests to 10 guests will accommodate parties of multiple sizes. Guests from one party may be sat with guests from another party at one table.

One of our favorite Orlando boat tours is in Winter Park. It was established in the 1930s, decades before Walt Disney World opened in Lake Buena Vista.

This pontoon boat tour starts near the well-known Park Avenue area. Set out on your scenic cruise from Lake Osceola to the Winter Park Chain of Lakes as your guide takes you through the manmade canals.

Sail past stunning homes in Winter Park, where you will have breathtaking views of the opulent private homes in the area (which is one of the reasons we enjoy the boat tour).

You will have a chance to see wonderful some of Florida’s beautiful birds, like Blue Herons and large cranes, as you travel on several lakes. 

Each boat holds a maximum of 18 passengers. Be sure to bring cash or a check to buy your tickets because credit cards are not accepted. We advise purchasing tickets in the morning on weekends, even if you plan on going later in the day. It’s a very popular tour, and tickets often sell out quickly. 

Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour is closed on Christmas Day. Otherwise, tours leave daily on the hour, starting at 10:00 am. The last tour is at 4:00 pm.

Mount Dora Lake Tours

One of our favorite destinations from Central Florida is 45 minutes north: the quaint town of Mount Dora . There’s so much to see and do there in the afternoon or morning; a boat tour is the best way to extend your trip to a whole day. 

Take a 2-hour pontoon boat tour with a departure point at the historic hotel, the Lakeside Inn. Enjoy your leisurely cruise around Lake Dora and The Harris Chain of Lakes, including the famed Dora Canal.

The all-weather 25’ boats can cruise rain or shine thanks to their retractable clear covers for the sides of the boat. Choose from one of two daytime tours, or their third option to cruise during sunset. 

Clearwater Beach with Dolphin Encounter Cruise

This 12-hour full-day tour begins with pick-up at 7:30 am. You’ll head west of Orlando to the popular Florida destination (Clearwater Beach), where you will take a cruise to encounter bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. 

While this means that you aren’t guaranteed to spot dolphins, your tour guide will do his or her very best to find them. You may see these beautiful mammals up close by the boat or further in the distance if they appear in the ocean. Part of the fun is the anticipation. 

A one-hour dolphin tour boat ride is sandwiched between hours of free time on a Gulf Coast beach. For only $10 more, you can purchase a wristband for the boat ride that allows you to have unlimited beer, wine, and vodka punch. 

Pickup and drop off are included at one of three major locations of your choice (Disney areas included). This means that all you have to do is sign up for the tour and be at that location for pick-up time.

This clear canoe boat tour is approximately halfway between Orlando and Gainesville at Silver Springs. The drive is approximately an hour and 45 minutes from downtown Orlando. 

You’ll do a self-guided tour after the kayak company representative meets you and gives you a laminated map and some brief instructions. Paddle near Cypress Trees and see turtles, ducks, birds, and a chance to see manatees during the winter season, when they swim to Florida’s warm waters.

Dan and I often like to explore an area freely, on our own. Maybe you’re the same way! If so, this is a great tour for you in the Orlando area, as long as you can rent a car to get to the meeting point or take a taxi/Uber or Lyft there.

Did you know that you can rent motorized boats at Disney World? It’s one of the best things to do at Walt Disney World, besides the parks.

One of the most singular boat tours in Orlando, or perhaps anywhere, is an Amphicar boat tour. Be a passenger and the envy of all onlookers in a cool convertible car that drives right into the water. This experience is available at Disney Springs restaurant, The Boathouse.

Lastly, you can book a specialty cruise to see the fireworks. You don’t even have to be a hotel guest to do so! Snacks and soft drinks are included in a memorable cruise on a 25’ boat.
