Yacht Blue touchup pen, anyone found one to purchase??

Hello everyone, I've been on the highway and I finally got a little bit of Knicks in the hood of my EV six electric which runs wonderful. Very happy with the car. But I can't seem to find anywhere to buy,, the yacht blue touchup pen?? Has anyone ever purchased one yet? Anyone know where you can purchase one? Thank you,,,.  

I haven’t bought and tried these, but folks on Reddit detailing forums swear by Dr. ColorChip | - looks like they have all the 2022 EV6 colors on hand, and color codes (at least for red) seem to match. Hope this helps!

I bought this on Amazon and the color seems to match pretty good. The paint is a water based product and it may not be as durable as others. Bought the PAINT2FIX for mine and it matches very well. Quite a lot of paint included but the application is higher than my skill level. One note, it is sourced out of Turkey so it may take a while to the US. It did for me….

RUNWAY RED and YACHT BLUE ARE THEY TRUE TO PHOTOS ?

Might seem a strange question but looking at photos from Goldfish 120 (Runway Red) would Goldfish please give their opinion on the colour match to actual car ? I have the same on order and after visiting Kia showroom yesterday I was quite surprised by the difference in colour. Also if Jon Chalk or anyone else would be kind enough to post their opinions on the Runway Red or Yacht Blue as to the closeness of colour to photos it would be greatly appreciated ........Thanks  

That question really can’t be answered. It depends so much on how well the colour is recorded by the camera and how colour is displayed on your screen. Go into Currys and look at the TVs - they’ll all look different.  

Would be great to see really good photos of each!!. I saw both recently in real life and have also seen various pics of each, all different of course, probs camera being different, Mobile cameras etc. Some really nice pics on forums of Blue and Red but in person, the Blue seems to not be as vivid as the forum photos, outside anyway, the showroom cars are polished up examples, same as the BMW M4 color which is almost the same. In a showroom under LEDs yes it is vivid and I am a huge fan, almost deep blue/purple.The car I saw was also dirty leading me to believe the blue vivid color only stands out and shines if it’s clean and polished up which I experienced with an Audi A1 in Scuba Blue, defo hard work to keep it shined up and swirl mark free!. It really did my head in seeing it in the sun with swirl marks everywhere and not looking as vivid like it did on day one, no matter that I hand washed it with microfibre mitts and waxed it etc, the blue seemed to almost fade to a used car paint blue in photos I took. EV6 in blue is still amazing!! just maybe hard work to keep it like that. Red is deep! A lovely color for free. Black is well.. black and is also hard work but it looks great cleaned up! This is why I choose white in my past cars and on the EV6, it's on par with Audi Ibis White with a blue tint in the sun and sparkles with little chance of swirl marks and scratches showing. I think EV6 in green is special and matte yellow! Sorry away off topic here.  

Ordered in Runway Red-very nice red for £0.Plus we have a blue car similar to the Yacht blue (which is a nice colour too).

It is really nice in red!. Was one of my top choices along with Blue and White. White came up trumps in terms of what I had before and liked and the most important thing..… delivery date. My ICE car won’t hold on to the inflated used car equity forever!. Nor the £600 in grants for chargers in Scotland. I would have gone red or blue if they had it on time (December/ start of January). At night it also looks great when the profile lights in the rear spoiler come on. Both the Red and Blue look great - the black styling line that swoops up to the rear looks great on the red also.  

Colours will vary according to the colour temperature of the ambient light. As an artist I'm well aware of how colours change. Cameras capture the actual reflected light, so taken on a dull day will appear different to bright and sunny, and again different on a bright day just before sunset.  

It's really no good looking at photos on a monitor as your settings will change the image a lot. What I see on mine can be totally different to what you see on yours.  

The thing to also consider is certain colours suit certain cars. The dealer had an e-Niro in runway Red but that car looks rubbish in that colour in comparison to white for example. The Colour can make a vehicle look visually bigger or smaller. complement or clash with styling lines and headlight / rear light fittings. Runway red on an EV6 looks great. As my Better half points out “different colours suit different body shapes and complexions”. Same with cars 😁

Where did I see a green EV6? They really need to bring that to the UK, I'm not thrilled with their limited colour options and I mean across all ranges.  

This video? Always find it strange how not all colours and options are available across all markets.  

I ordered a Pearl White GT Line S AWD in May, then I saw a Korean Video in Yacht blue, it really stood out. I spoke with the dealer re changing my colour. He advised me to go and look at a Niro he had in Yacht blue. It was nowhere near as sparkling. It all depends on the lighting, in a studio it can be very bright and on a highly polished car, the colour really stands out. But how often do we get really bright sunshine in the UK? So I stuck with the white. In most conditions it is just whit, but if it is under a bright light it sparkles.  

I've seen all the colours live.....on an EV6. The blue stood out for me, but hey ho, you pays your money, you makes your choice.

Hi Kia Customer Service Team, I just placed an order for a replacement company car, an E-Niro 4+ in Yacht Blue and whilst I wait for all the details to come through, could you give me any indication of the likely delivery / manufacturing time? 2 weeks? 6 months? Obviously I understand this is not a guarantee, but an indication would be helpful, Many thanks Henk  

Hi & Welcome Kia Customer Services do not monitor this section. They only check their own section. Your dealer should be able to give the best update as they have access to the ordering/delivery system. Although at the moment with the supply issue of Computer Chips, who knows how accurate they maybe.  

Thank you for letting me know Kia don't monitor here, I was wondering too if another owner who had placed an order in the last 6 months might have an insight? I fully appreciate that the dealer will have more details in due course.  

I ordered mine in early March and took delivery 2 weeks ago. However, I suspect Kia are suffering from the global microchip shortage, since both the price and lead times have since increased on the scheme I sourced mine from (it's a salary sacrifice lease car).  

I got a preliminary date of 9th July, so not long. A What Car YouTube video released today said 2 week wait on average!  

I placed an order for my 4+ in yacht blue on 4/3/21 and took delivery on 14/521 so approx 10 weeks for me  

Depends on stock and when the next boat arrives. I placed my order at 1650hrs and got the keys 2 weeks later. The dealer was expecting delivery batch and one of the cars in the spec and paint i wanted was still available. Next batch would have been 3-6 months max
