Luxury Superyacht Apoise from Lurssen Yachts

Refitted in 2009, The Apoise is a 67 meter long luxury superyacht, built by the Germany-based Lurssen shipyard, back in 2006. Its exterior look is the brainchild of famous Espen Oino, while the interior was taken care of by Zuretti. The cool thing about this ship is that it is one of the largest charter yachts in the world, an exquisite king of the seas.

The main purpose of the yacht was not to be owned just by one wealthy sailor, but to offer the pleasures of cruising to adventurers worldwide, being perfectly well equipped for charter. The great attention to detail is obvious from the owner’s cabin, placed on the main deck, to the luxurious decorations and furnishings.

Its wide beam, measuring 13.12 meters, allows for a lavish interior, split in a plethora of cabins and lounges. The ship is able to accommodate a total of 12 charter guests, being one of the biggest motors yachts wandering the world’s seas and oceans. It features a total of 6 decks, among which the 360-degree-view sundeck needs mentioning, as well as a huge number of lounges, indoor and outdoor dining spots.

Apoise’s main deck comprises the formal dining area plus the large owner’s suite. Guests can meet accommodation in any of the 6 guest rooms. The master cabin spans over 130 square meters (1,399 sq ft), being placed right on the main deck, stunningly resembling a 5-star hotel apartment. In addition, the owner’s cabin sports a private Jacuzzi and a full-beam master bathroom.

The bride deck includes the VIP suite, while the lower deck hosts the other 4 guest suites. The aforementioned 5 suites feature king size berths and their own en-suite bathrooms. In addition, Creston Control AV systems have been integrated, as well as music/movie collections, Kaleidoscope entertainment systems and satellite TV. On the other side, the crew cabins can accommodate a total of 19 staff, in quite astonishing luxury.

Due to two 1,938 HP engines, the yacht can cruise at speeds of 14 knots, aided by a 190,000 liter total fuel capacity. This permits a 5,000 km range, at an average of 12 knots. It also boasts a decent number of tenders and water toys, including an 8.2 meter Denship Tender limo Custom, a 4.26 meter Rescue Tender, an 8 m custom Denship Tender, a 5 m Crew Novurania, plus a Light beach boat Zodiac inflatable.

The frolicsome part of the equipment sports 2 stand up and 2 sit down jet-skis, 2 sailing dinghies, an entire collection of cool inflatable water toys, snorkeling gear, scuba-diving equipment and Kayaks with paddles. TITANIA Super Yacht – former Apoise

The Titania super yacht (formerly Apoise ) was built in 2006 at the Kröger shipyard. The yacht was initially 67 meters long and was later extended by 4 meters. It is 13 meters wide and has six decks. Registered in the 100 largest yachts of 2008 under the flag of the United Kingdom after it was sold in March 2010. The design is by Espen Øino, the interior by Francois Zuretti.

Super yacht APOISE a luxury 67 m Lürssen motor yacht has been sold by the owner and bought by a UK bidder at the Ritchie’s Super yacht Auction in Grand Cayman. The yacht sold for a price of $46.6 million dollars at the unreserved yacht auction.

The winning bid price to sell superyacht APOISE came in below the estimated worth of APOISE, which is around $87,000,000. There is some comment that a yacht broker could have achieved a higher price for the seller. However, Stephen Branch from Ritchie Bros. auction house is reported to have said that the super yacht auction was a full success:

Titania accomodation

Super Yacht TITANIA / APOISE is a striking yacht that is able to accommodate as many as 14 passengers on board. It has approximately 18 crew members.

An elevator that forms a central focus runs from the lower deck up to the pool deck. Accommodation is arranged across seven cabins, including two expansive master suites, a VIP cabin and four generous doubles. All of them with marble bathrooms and the latest entertainment systems, ensuring all guests enjoy comfort and luxury. The main deck master suite features a study, walk-in wardrobe, Jacuzzi bathroom and private massage area.

The yacht’s brand new interior exudes quality and style throughout. Rich woods and fabrics enhance her classically elegant look. Also, full-length windows flood the living areas with a lot of natural light. The main saloon provides expansive seating areas and comes complete with grand piano. Formal dining room seats up to 14 guests for silver service dinner parties.

Up on the bridge deck, the sky lounge has a fully stocked bar, games table and a large HD TV screen. Adjacent dining area is framed by floor to ceiling windows affording panoramic views.

The sea level beach club provides a sauna, bar and relaxing seating area with easy access to the water. In addition, Titania owns vast inventory of tenders and toys. The yacht is an accredited RYA training center, with two qualified jet ski instructors who can help guests pass their licenses. For instance, at night the beach club converts into a party zone with disco lights and state-of-the-art sound system.

A complete aqua park can be deployed from the beach club to provide a safe splash zone, inflatable slide, trampoline and climbing frame, therefore, providing hours of fun for the whole family.

In addition, the yacht also has one of largest slides ever built running from the dizzy heights of the sun deck.

Superyacht Auction Today - 67m Lurssen yacht Apoise Open For Bids

The 67m Lürssen Superyacht Apoise will be sold to the highest bidder today at an unreserved auction held in the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman. The event will have no minimum bids or reserve prices, however, questions are now posed as to whether Apoise will fetch her true value through auction.

Launched in 2006 with a refit in 2009, Apoise is a widely celebrated superyacht designed by Espen Øino . The 67m luxury superyacht offers a vast array of features and designs comparable to a five-star hotel, making her a unique and enviable vessel to own. On the run up to today’s auction, she has received global interest from buyers around the Middle East, North America, Europe and Australia.

However, questions are being raised as to whether auction is the right way to sell a superyacht. To help gauge the outcome, the 61m Lürssen superyacht Phoenix was built in 2004 and is priced at around €65,000,000, placing the Apoise a similar price region. Typical auctions will start low with sellers hoping to break through the asking price by a substantial amount if a bidding war begins, yet if this does not happen sellers take the risk of losing a lot of money on top of the auctioneer commission taken from that.

For those who do not attend the auction in Grand Cayman but still wish to bid, it is entirely possible to bid via internet, however to avoid travelling to the auction you must pay an additional 2% internet or proxy fee. If Apoise were to fetch a similair price to the Phoenix, this would make an extra cost of approximately €1,300,000.

Apoise is currently owned by Dave Ritchie, the co-founder of auction holders Ritchie Bros, who hold unparalleled passion for the auctioning system. “An unreserved auction, with no restrictions and no limitations, gives the fairest, most honest valuation of any item.” As both the owner and the co-founder of the auction house this may be an interesting commercial exercise for Ritchie Bros. An honest valuation of a superyacht under the hammer may, however, be harrowingly less than the asking price, taking attention away from professional brokers. The general practice of an auction is unusual within the superyacht industry, placing bidders against one another in a high pressure situation whereas a superyacht requires a great amount of consideration into which yacht is right for the individual.

Mr. Ritchie acquired Apoise with the intention to sail around the world for two years then sell her on; he reached places such as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Alaska and Australia, extending his world voyage by two more years due to the power and passion behind this stunning cruiser.

The true value of Apoise reflects her quality; her interior was designed by Zuretti, featuring elegant baroque furnishings in the owner’s cabin with a luxurious and sophisticated feel throughout. She holds numerous features such as a private Jacuzzi, 360 degree views from the upper deck and state-of-the-art entertainment and navigation systems throughout.

Apoise holds comfortable and spacious suites for 12 guests over six decks with wide lounges ideal for entertainment, Jacuzzi on the top deck and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The owners cabin covers 1,399 sq ft (130 sq m) with a VIP suite on the bridge and four suites on the lower deck all offering king size berths and en-suite.

Ranked in the world’s largest yachts roster, Apoise offers the ultimate cruising experience combining comfort and power. She is powered by two 3,700hp Caterpillar Inc. Diesel engines capable of bringing her to a top speed of 16 knots with a range of 5,000nm.

The auctioning system is a widely used method for selling goods such as vintage cars and property but the question is pointed to whether or not it will work when applied to selling a superyacht. Only time can tell but we will be keeping an eye of today’s movements to see whether Apoise retrieves her true worth from the auction.

The main engine of the yacht creates 2010 horse power (or apoise kilowatts). Her total HP is 4020 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3000. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. This yacht’s efficacious cruising speed is 14 knots which offers a range of 5000.
