New to this model is the innovative upper lounge entertaining sundeck – ideal for enjoying the vista & sunsets after a tough day cruising the Whitsundays. The forward walk-though door gives easy access to the foredeck with lovely airflow though the saloon.

Meal preparation is a joy, with a forward facing “L Shaped” galley and plenty of natural light from large windows and a unique skylight.

She can accommodate up to 8; three spacious cabins with easily accessible island beds, including a lavish master suite. The saloon table will convert to another double if needed.

Ideal for three couples, families and mixed groups and those seeking a luxurious experience. For easy sailing; she has a self-tacking headsail and you can trim effortlessly from the helm.

We spent two beautiful weeks on Kiana Rose.

We found Kiana Rose was the perfect size for cruising around the Whitsundays. We had a great time walking to the viewpoints at Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet was not to be missed.

As an owners version, she’s ideal for a family. The owner hull is spacious and the walk-in shower is divine. The other hull has two generously sized cabins with ensuite heads.

The upstairs living space is very open with wrap around windows. We absolutely loved these. You won’t miss any of the magnificent view, whether stirring up something special in the galley or lounging on the super comfortable couches.

We fell in love with the boat the moment we stepped foot on her and look forward to enjoying another vaca on her in the future!

Modern & Luxe… Trip of a Lifetime on Kiana Rose!

We spent a glorious 7 nights on Kiana Rose, and we cannot speak more highly of this vessel and the whole experience. It exceeded our expectations!!

Travelling as 3 couples we found the cabins spacious, with plenty of storage on board…including great fridge/freezer space. We had plenty of room to move, as well as many places to lounge around…our absolute favorite feature being the rooftop lounge!

Having the walk-through door from the saloon was perfect, it made the front area so much more accessible. The level of finish of Kiana Rose is pure luxury, and with such a new boat…everything is immaculate!

Our charter in July this year was our 3rd bareboat charter with Whitsunday Escape. Whilst our other experiences have all been great, I can say that cruising the Whitsundays aboard "Kiana Rose," a sleek luxurious 42-foot Leopard Catamaran, was an absolute dream and the best boat we have ever charted.

As always, the team at Whitsunday Escape were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the entire experience seamless. Our experience on “Kiana Rose” was nothing short of exceptional. “Kiana Rose” was immaculate—clean, spacious, and furnished with all the modern amenities that made the week-long journey incredibly comfortable.

At this time of year, we were fortunate to spot some wildlife along the way. It was an absolute thrill to have numerous sightings of majestic humpback whales and their young calves – often breaching in the distance.

Our 7-night bareboat cruise aboard the luxurious "Kiana Rose" was an unforgettable escapade.

About the tour.

Departing from Airlie Beach, Camira cruises past Whitsunday Island, passing Daydream, Hamilton and Hook islands en route. On Whitsunday Island’s east coast, Camira moors at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, a 7km arc of dazzling white sand, regularly voted Australia’s best beach.

On a guided hike to Hill Inlet lookout, follow a path walked by the Whitsundays’ traditional owners, the Ngaro people. Back on the beach, swim and stroll along the shore before a BBQ lunch cooked and served on board. After lunch, you will head to one of the Whitsundays fringing reefs for some snorkelling before sailing back to shore.

Physical rating: Please be advised that a moderate level of fitness and agility is recommended for this experience, which includes bushwalking, snorkelling, and climbing in and out of tenders. High temperatures and humidity are possible, especially in the summer months.

*Please also note for any guests wanting to snorkel the fringing reef from Camira, you must have adequate swimming abilities as there are no flotation devices available.

Havanna Luxury Cruises Sample Itinerary - 12 Days Whitsundays to Lizard Island

Day one HAMILTON ISLAND Start your luxury sailing experience by flying into Proserpine Airport or Hamilton Island also known as the Great Barrier Reef Airport (HTI) This airport services all Australian major capital cities such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane daily. There you will be welcomed by the crew from your luxury private charter yacht and taken to the yacht by private concierge.

Also recommended is a short stay before your private charter on Hamilton Island at either Qualia or the Beach Club Hotel which cater to the discerning guest.

Once you arrive on your sailing yacht, your crew will welcome you with oshibori & champagne and show a tour of the yacht. After which the captain will go through the safety procedures along with a planned itinerary of the private yacht charter.

Depending on the flight arrival time and the weather, after welcoming drinks we will set sail to one of the secluded bays in the Whitsunday Islands.

Suggested is Tongue Bay on Whitsunday Island. There we can visit the famous Whitehaven Beach and do a short 35 min walk to see the magnificent surroundings.  

Day 2: Great Barrier Reef Tour

BUTTERFLY BAY (WHITSUNDAY ISLANDS) We start the day with a gourmet breakfast on the top deck and set sail for the top of the Whitsunday Islands. We stop at any number of secluded anchorages on the way for lunch and a paddle board before arriving at Butterfly Bay.

On the northern side of Hook Island, Butterfly Bay is perfect for snorkeling and an excellent overnight anchorage spot.

Day 3 HeadIng North on the Great Barrier Reef

CAPE BOWLING GREEN

We get an early start and sail north.

Depending on the winds we will either end the day at Upstart Bay or Cape Bowling Green.

This area just south of Townsville is where the freight steamer SS Yongala sank in 1911. 

The area is lined with numerous sandy beaches interspersed with rocky headlands and fringing coral reef.

An absolute beautiful place to explore.

Day 4 Magnetic Island

MAGNETIC ISLAND, TOWNSVILLE After a sail of approximately 60 miles we arrive into Horseshoe Bay, Magnetic Island . The island features huge boulders, hoop pine forest and beautiful sandy beaches. Relax with a coffee on the quaint esplanade of Horseshoe Bay, walk the 3km of beautiful sandy beach or rent a famous topless car and explore the island. Magnetic Island is the perfect resting place for the night.

If requested we can visit Townsville , 3.5 nm away. The largest tropical city north of Brisbane, it features a beautiful beachfront promenade and a unique shopping and cafe culture.

Day 5 Orpheus Island

ORPHEUS ISLAND After a short sail of 40nm we will arrive at the Palm Islands. Orpheus Island is national park and unspoiled paradise with deserted golden beaches fringed with coconut palms.

Here our sailing yacht guests will check into the resort for the night, enjoy an exotic beach spa massage and a private dining experience on the island’s starlit pier.

Day 6 Hinchinbrook Island

HINCHINBROOK ISLAND Leaving Orpheus Island late in the day, it is only a short sail to Hinchinbrook Island. Completely uninhibited, Hinchinbrook Island is pristine and unspoilt.

There we will enjoy deep rock pools, waterfalls and sheer granite pinnacles.

Day 7 Bedarra Island Resort

BEDARRA ISLAND RESORT Leaving Hinchinbrook Island behind after lunch, it is a short sail to Bedarra Island Resort. The middle of three luxurious interludes off the yacht, guests experience a night of decadence.

With a maximum of 20 guests, Bedarra is the ultimate in exclusivity, Play a game of tennis, relax in the infinity pool or soak up the natural surrounds, Bedarra is luxury.

Day 8 Russell Island

RUSSELL ISLAND Leaving Bedarra Island later in the day, Russell Island is a good anchorage and stopping point half way towards Cairns. 

Part of the Frankland Island group, it is teaming with marine life especially green turtles.

Day 9 Green Island, Cairns

GREEN ISLAND, CAIRNS Leaving early from Russell Island, we set sail to Green Island , 15nm off Cairns. Green Island is a tiny forested coral cay surrounded by coral reef.

If requested we can visit Cairns and even overnight in the well appointed marina.

Day 10 Low Isles, Port Douglas

LOW ISLES PORT DOUGLAS Providing a nice comfortable anchorage, the Low Isles , 9nm off Port Douglas is a good stopping point.

The Low Isles lagoon is home to turtles and dominated by soft corals.

Day 11 Hope Islands

HOPE ISLANDS Named by Captain Cook in 1770, East and West Hope Islands are two beautiful and isolated coral cays surrounded by reefs and a deep channel between them. Perfect spot to snorkel and anchor for the night.

Day 12 Lizard Island

LIZARD ISLAND Arriving at the final destination of the North Queensland island private charter, guests are taken to the award winning Lizard Island Resort. 

Luxurious, secluded with sweeping beach views, the resort is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy before your flight home.

Charter Notes

The suggested route as described above has been designed for maximum comfort for the guests. It features no overnight sailing and aims to provide calm overnight anchorages (weather permitting). The sailing time varies from day to day with 30 to 70nm covered each 24 hour period. The charter can be as strenuous or relaxing as the guests want with many activities available both on land and on the yacht. The private charter can be extended or compressed to suit individual requirements. Three overnight ‘luxury stops’ are included at Bedarra, Orpheus and Lizard Resorts (Hotel accommodation is not included) Two marina stops are permissible with extra nights charged. All gourmet meals, beverages, alcohol on the yacht are included in the price.

Cancellation Policy

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS: When booking our Havanna luxury charters - private charter yacht, guests agree to pay the applicable charges and to be bound by the following terms and conditions: Deposit: 50% of charter fee at the time of booking Balance due: 30 days prior to departure Within the 30 days prior to departure, no refunds or date transfers allowed unless agreed with the Captain in writing.1. DEFINITIONS In this AGREEMENT, the following terms have the following corresponding meaning: CHARTER means the cruise for which the CHARTERER is paying, and HAVANNA LUXURY CRUISES is providing. CHARTERER means the client who is paying for the CHARTER. CHARTERER’S GROUP means all passengers who will take part in the CHARTER. MASTER means the dully qualified person in charge of the VESSEL. VESSEL means HAVANNA mentioned VESSEL and Tender to Havanna specified in the schedule details. 2. INVOICES Invoices are only valid for 7 days, and CHARTER dates are still available to other parties to book until funds are received in HLC Bank Account. 3. SECURITY DEPOSIT The CHARTERER shall provide credit card details for a Security Deposit to HLC or BOOKING AGENT, prior to commencement of the CHARTER (held with credit card details on file). HLC or BOOKING AGENT may use the details if the CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP causes damage or loss to the VESSEL during the CHARTER. 4. RIGHT OF REFUSAL HLC reserves the right to refuse bookings which contravene these Bookings Terms and Conditions. The CHARTERER must provide all necessary details to HLC about the CHARTER and the CHARTERER’S GROUP. 5. SPECIAL EVENTS, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, AND PEAK SEASON All Public Holidays will incur a 20% surcharge and be dependent on the vessel’s location and HLC reserves the right to amend payment terms on these busier dates and the CHARTER FEE will reflect these increased rates. Special Events and Peak Season dates will also incur a surcharge based on the timeframe (Peak Season – Easter dates & 24th December – 1st January) 6. TENTATIVE BOOKINGS Tentative bookings will be held in good faith for a mutually agreed length of time pending payment of a deposit, or until another party wants to book the same date, whichever is sooner. The booking is not secured until a deposit has been received into HLC account and this signed AGREEMENT returned. 7. CONFIRMED BOOKINGS A CHARTER will be confirmed on receipt of the Deposit being cleared into HLC Bank Account and signed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All bookings made within 30 days of the CHARTER Date require payment in full at the time of booking. Any payment confirms the CHARTERERS acceptance of these Bookings Terms and Conditions even if the AGREEMENT is not signed by the CHARTERER. 8. DEPOSIT The deposit payable is 50% of the TOTAL CHARTER FEE unless otherwise specified in the Deposit and Final Payments. If the CHARTER is booked within 30 days of the CHARTER, full payment of the CHARTER FEE is required. 9. FINAL PAYMENT Final payment is required 14 days prior to CHARTER unless otherwise agreed. 10. PAYMENT METHOD Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to HLC nominated Australian Bank account as stated on the invoice. 11. CANCELLATION More than 60 days prior: An alternative CHARTER Date may be arranged with no rebooking fee. Alternatively, the deposit can be refunded to the CHARTERER less 10% for booking and administration purposes. Between 60 – 21 days prior: Deposit is not refundable. An alternative CHARTER Date may be arranged. Between 21 – 7 days prior: Full payment is not refundable. If within these days the CHARTER is postponed at the request of the CHARTERER, then a 10% rebooking fee applies along with any rate difference. The alternative CHARTER Date must be confirmed at the time of postponement. Within 7 days prior: No refund, credit, or postponement will be issued, and full payment of the Charter Fee will be payable. Cancellation by HLC for; severe weather, safety, VESSEL inoperability, or any other reason is at the MASTER’s discretion. In the unlikely event of cancellation by HLC, where available, HLC reserves the right to substitute a suitable alternative VESSEL or an alternative CHARTER Date suitable to both parties will be offered. If nothing else is available or suitable, a refund will be given. All cancelations and postponements must be made in writing to be valid and considered. 12. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL The VESSEL operates under the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and as such reserve the right to refuse service to the CHARTERER and the CHARTERER’S GROUP under 18 years of age or who is perceived intoxicated, for all CHARTERS including those who utilize Bring Your Own (BYO) beverage service. Wherever alcohol is served substantial food must also be provided by the CHARTERER to satisfy the RSA obligations. The VESSEL reserves the right to refuse entry to passengers who arrive intoxicated or to terminate the CHARTER if it is deemed that intoxicated passengers pose a threat to the safety of its passengers, crew, and VESSEL. 13. CHARTER COURSE The course to be undertaken during the CHARTER may be agreed in advance with HLC or with the MASTER on the commencement of the CHARTER. The CHARTERER acknowledges that the MASTER always has sole discretion to take whatever action is necessary to protect and maintain the safety, welfare, and good order for the VESSEL, its passengers, and crew with regard to; cruising course, weather conditions, anchorage, clearance, and any other activity on the water. 14. WEATHER CONDITIONS All CHARTERS will proceed regardless of weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the MASTER on the day. Cancellation or rescheduling of the CHARTER by the CHARTERER to unfavorable weather conditions are subject to the cancellation terms in clause 11. HLC or the VESSEL are not responsible for the weather conditions and any adverse weather conditions do not give the CHARTERER the right to terminate the CHARTER. The MASTER will determine if the weather conditions are safe to operate the CHARTER as planned. There are no postponements for rain, strong winds, or unsavory conditions unless weather warnings are in place and the MASTER is solely responsible for calling a cancellation or postponement. 15. SHOES POLICY The VESSEL has a strict no shoes policy. All shoes will be collected prior to boarding and stored during the charter. Shoes will then be returned to guests to put on once disembarked from the VESSEL. Exception will be made by prior arrangement for guests with medical conditions that require them to wear shoes. 16. SMOKING POLICY HLC has a no smoking policy to avoid damage to the VESSEL caused by ash/embers. A designated outdoor smoking area onshore will be advised by crew for when the VESSEL is at anchor or berthed. Smoking of any kind (including e-cigarettes, unless given permission by the MASTER) is not permitted onboard at any time. Any damage caused by failing to comply with the no smoking policy may incur a repair fee. 17. EMBARKATION AND DISEMBARKATION The VESSEL will be available to guests at the agreed times stated in the PARTICULARS OF CHARTER. All passengers have 15 minutes to board and 15 minutes to disembark. Any guests who arrive earlier will be given access to the vessel, on the Master’s discretion only if the vessel is in readiness for guests. 18. SWIMMING AND WATERSPORTS ACTIVITIES Swimming and/or water sport activities, including the yacht toys, must be arranged ahead of CHARTER, so a suitable charter course and swimming location can be provided. Swimming and water sport activities are only permitted during daylight hours, when the VESSEL is at anchor, and all passengers entering the water do so at their own risk. HLC and VESSEL take absolutely no responsibility for your safety for swimming and any water activities that are used throughout the CHARTER. 19.1 ACTIVITY WAIVER An Activity Waiver will need to be signed at the beginning of the CHARTER by the CHARTERER and each of the CHARTERER’S GROUP if they wish to participate in any activities off the vessel during the CHARTER. 19.2 SWIMMING AND ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION HLC does not permit any swimming off the VESSEL or participating in any water sport activities after the consumption of excessive alcohol and reserves the right to prevent any passenger/s who are deemed unfit from entering the water to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and equipment. 19.3 WATER SPORT USE Due care and diligence will be given to the sea state on the CHARTER Day. The CHARTERER acknowledges that the MASTER always has sole discretion to cancel water sports due to unfavorable weather conditions (including but not limited to wind, severe weather, tidal currents, or risk associated from marine wildlife). If an additional cost for Water Sport has been incurred, it will not be reimbursed to the CHARTERER. Any additional cost to hire an extra Crew for specific water sports will not be refundable. 20. LYCRA SUN SUITS During summer season (November to May) it is strongly advised for the CHARTERER and the CHARTERER’S GROUP to wear a Lycra sun suit, stinger suit when entering the water. If the CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP fail to adhere to this advice, they do so at their own risk. 21. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CHARTERER The CHARTERER is at all times responsible for the conduct of the CHARTERER’S GROUP. All passengers fall under their responsibility. 22. DAMAGE TO THE VESSEL The CHARTERER shall be liable for any loss or damage to the VESSEL, or its equipment or fittings howsoever caused by the CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP. Fair wear and tear are excepted, to a degree determined by the MASTER onboard and exceeding this – an invoice will be provided for payment to rectify if any have occurred below: a. Any Loss or damage to the yacht, its fittings, bedding, or any equipment, caused by the CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP. b. Any unreasonable amount of excessive uncleanliness caused by the CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP. 23. DECORATIONS The CHARTERER may place decorations on the VESSEL during the CHARTER ONLY if approved in advance. CHARTERER is responsible for set up and removal. Decorations must NOT be placed using adhesive tape, pins, tacks, or any other material which will damage or mark the VESSEL. All decorations must be removed at the end of the CHARTER. 24. LIMIT OF LIABILITY It is a condition of the CHARTER the liability of HLC, their agents, employees, and subcontractors is agreed to be limited in accordance with the Limitations of Liabilities and Maritime Claims Act 1989 and that any claim for loss or damage must be notified in writing within 7 days from the day of the CHARTER and any court action, suit or proceeding must be brought within 365 days of the CHARTER Date. 25. RISK WARNING There are inherent risks and dangers onboard any VESSEL. The CHARTERER and the CHARTERER’S GROUP participate in the CHARTER at their own risk. 26. INDEMNITY The CHARTERER agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HAVANNA LUXURY CRUISES their agents, employees, and subcontractors from and against any and all losses, claims, actions, costs, expenses, fees, damages, fines and liabilities (including reasonable legal fees) caused by any negligent act or omission by the CHARTERER or members of the CHARTERER’S GROUP including: a. Failure to follow any reasonable direction given by the MASTER or Crew; b. Failure to comply with any of these terms or conditions; c. Failure to comply with any warning signs; d. Unreasonable or unsafe behavior; e. Willful misuse of the equipment or facilities of the VESSEL; f. Intoxication or the use of prohibited drugs. 27. JURISDICTION The laws of Queensland govern this agreement, and the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Queensland in respect of any disputes arising between them. 28. SAFETY – MASTER’S AUTHORTY The CHARTERER and the CHARTERER’S GROUP will comply with all directions given by the MASTER of the VESSEL. The MASTER at any time, can or will terminate the CHARTER if they: a. SAFETY BRIEFING: All guests must participate in a safety briefing issued by the MASTER and Crew at the beginning of the Charter. b. Safety compromised: If the MASTER believes the safety of the VESSEL or CHARTERER or the CHARTERER’S GROUP on the CHARTER to be at risk or refuse to comply with the MASTER’S directions, the CHARTER will be terminated immediately, and the VESSEL returned to the point of embarkation with no refunds or liability for early return. c. Illegal Substances: If the MASTER believes there is use of illegal substances onboard, the MASTER will terminate the CHARTER immediately and the VESSEL will be returned to the point of embarkation with no refunds or liability for early return. d. Jumping Overboard: If at any time, the CHARTERER or a member of the CHARTERER’S GROUP is to jump overboard whilst the VESSEL is moving, the CHARTER will be terminated immediately by the MASTER, and the VESSEL returned to the point of embarkation. The person may be reported to the QLD Water Police and face appropriate fines.

• All payments made are non-refundable unless the yacht is re-let for the same dates. If the yacht is re-let, the monies will be refunded less a 10% administration fee paid to the yacht.
• Cancellation outside of 60 days prior to departure: Guests are allowed to reschedule to other dates within a 12 month period.
• Within the 60-21 days prior to departure, no refunds or date transfers allowed unless agreed with the Captain in writing. Within 21 days 100% fee applies.
• If passengers elect not to travel due to weather conditions but the charter is still operational, 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Get ready for the ultimate adventure! Make your way to the incredible Whitsunday Coast, and check in to your divine accommodation at Airlie Searene Apartments. Located just a hop, skip and a jump away from the hub of Airlie Beach, your apartment is a short walk to a wonderful array of shops, restaurants and cafes. It's a lovely day to explore the beauty of Airlie Beach! With a full day of freedom ahead of you, make the most of your morning by enjoying a lazy and delicious brunch. Embrace the quirks of the vibrant beach-town lifestyle and settle into the leisurely pace of the locals. Choose from an incredible range of delicious food, from fresh local seafood to scrumptious Italian and Vietnamese.  As the afternoon draws to a close, you might like to head to one of the vibrant bars for your favourite cocktail. Soak up the wondrous views and enjoy the relaxation of the day, because the adventure begins tomorrow!

Day 3: Depart Airlie Beach and begin the adventure

Rise and shine, because it's the first day of your adventure! Check out of your delightful accommodation and check into paradise! At your convenience, you can leave your extra luggage at reception after checking out of Airlie Searene Apartments in the morning. Soak up the slow morning and feast on a delicious brunch at one of the many incredible cafe spots in Airlie Beach. Unwind with a stroll around town before making your way down to the Coral Sea Marina to begin your next adventure!

Depart the Coral Sea Marina at 4:00pm, aboard the wonderful On Ice Catamaran. 

On Ice is ready to whisk you away to paradise! Making her way through the shimmering waters of the Whitsundays, you will head toward some of the incredible natural marvels that the Whitsundays has on offer. See world-renowned destinations like Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout and the colourful fringing reefs of the famous Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. During your adventure you can choose to relax, unwind or learn the ropes of sailing! Lounge about to your heart's content aboard On Ice, freshen up in your private cabin and ensuite and enjoy the ride aboard a romantic and whimsical vessel. Everything you need is on board - feast on delicious food, listen to informative commentary by your knowledgable skipper and enjoy the entertainment!

On your first afternoon aboard On Ice, you'll set sail across the calm waters toward the islands where you'll anchor up for a dreamy night of sleep upon the sea.

Day 4: Out on the water, the dream continues 

Wake up with the gentle breeze of the sea, and fill up your mug of coffee. There's no better way to start your day! Sit down to a delicious breakfast served fresh onboard, and get changed into your swimsuit as On Ice makes her way towards the incredible Hill Inlet. Hop off the boat and go on a bushwalking adventure up to the Lookout - where you'll see jaw-dropping views of the blue and white cosmos of Hill Inlet. After you've had your fill of the sights, make your way back down to dip your toes into the crystal-clear waters of Whitehaven Beach.

It's morning tea time, so feast your eyes on another round of delicious food! You will soon make your way to western side of the mysterious Hook Island, where you'll get to dive headfirst into the deep blue!. Anchor down in the cool and calm waters, and once there, enjoy lunch made fresh by your passionate crew. Grab a snorkel when you're ready and and jump straight into the turquoise waters! Rub shoulders with a colourful and incredible array of marine life - spot a swimming turtle, a floundering Sweetlip fish and even a stingray if you're lucky!

Wind down for the day with refreshments as you watch the jaw-dropping sunset. Head back to your cozy cabin and tuck in for another blissful night of sleep.

Day 5: Snorkel to your heart's content

It's your last day out on the water, so it's time to make the most of it! Wake up, feeling refreshed and ready for another day of adventures. After breakfast, grab a snorkel and head down beneath the water once more! Explore this new underwater location, meeting more vibrant creatures of the sea as you swim around! You might even like to try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding! Soak up the last few hours of your own personal paradise before making your way back through the azure passage towards Coral Sea Marina. 

You will return back to Airlie Beach at around 2:00pm, and wander back to your luscious enclave at Searene Airlie Apartments for another two delightful nights.

Day 6: Unwind and explore on your last full day in Airlie Beach

It's your last few days in paradise, so it's time to make the most of it. Unwind as you make your way through the vibrant streets of Airlie Beach, grabbing a bite to eat and a delicious hot coffee on your way. There's a number of incredible land-based adventures to explore on your last day, so ask your friendly travel expert for advice!

Day 7: Depart Airlie Beach

It's your last morning in paradise, so be sure to reflect on the incredible last few days of your adventure. Check out and make your way back home, or onwards to your next adventure.

Excess luggage can be stored at our  Airlie Beach Travel Shop  in town. Located at 344 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach, open from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, seven days per week.

You will also need to bring your own alcoholic beverages, available for purchase in town. No glass bottles permitted (with the exception of wine).

Holiday Surcharges:

• Tours at sea between the 24th of December to the 2nd of January will incur a local payment once-off fee of $20 per person per night, payable direct at check in.
• Tours departing on Easter Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday will incur a once-off fee of $20 per person per night, payable direct at check in.

Terms and Conditions

Covid Vaccination Status:

As a tourism provider, our business operates under the Outdoor Entertainment Activities category of Queensland Government Health. This means that from the 17th December 2021 you will be required to provide evidence that you are double vaccinated. Guests who are unable to receive both vaccines by the 17th December 2021 will unfortunately not be able to travel with us at this time. It is your responsibility as the client to ensure you remain up to date on the latest Government Health Advice and any restrictions that may prevent you from attending your departure.

Important Information:

This is a water-based activity, for safety reasons all passengers must be able to swim and speak fluent English.

Your Responsibilities:

Please advise us before booking if any passengers are under 18 years old to ensure this is the appropriate trip. 

You must reconfirm all booked tours prior to travel as specified on your voucher. If applicable, notes such as dietary requirements, pick-up locations and additional fees should also be confirmed at this time. Reconfirmations cannot be actioned through Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel, and must be done so directly through the Service Operator as specified on each ticket.

It is your responsibility to notify us of ticket discrepancies. Please read through the details on your voucher thoroughly to ensure all details such as passenger names, ages and dates of travel on vouchers are correct.

It is the responsibility of all passengers travelling to advise both your travel agent at the time of booking and vessel check-in agent before boarding of any medical conditions including food allergies you may suffer from.

You need to allow adequate time to check-in prior to the specified departure time. 

Prices/Extra Costs:

All prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. Surcharges over peak holiday seasons may apply. 

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices and extra costs. Extra costs may include EMC fees, Stingersuit/Wetsuit Hire, Luggage Storage, Insurance, Linen Hire, National Park Fees, Fuel Levies, Dietary Fees, etc. Bonds may also apply.

We will also endeavour to communicate these extra costs with you at the time of booking, and on your ticket. However, it is your responsibility to confirm which (if any) additional costs apply with each Service Operator upon reconfirming your trip.

Travel Risk/Insurance:

It should be noted that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst we make every effort to safeguard clients, we cannot be responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of our clients which are beyond our control. We highly recommend that all clients have travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings and not being able to travel on the confirmed date of departure. You should also ensure your travel insurance will cover special circumstances including weather events preventing guests from travelling to their tour departure destination and cancelled flights due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Merchant Fees:

Please be aware operators pass on credit card merchant fees so there is a non-refundable 1% surcharge for VISA and MASTERCARD card purchases.

All ticket/voucher reissues attract a $20 administration fee.

Open Date Vouchers / Gift Certificate:

Shipping Costs are in addition to the ticket price and will be added at check-out. Shipping costs are non-refundable and do not makeup part of the ticket value. 

E-Vouchers incur no shipping fees. You have 5 years to use the value of the voucher. Seasonal Price Rises will apply if travelling out the current seasons pricing. Vouchers can be exchanged for free up to the full value of the voucher excluding credit card fees and charges.

Cancellations

Client Cancellations:

All cancellations forfeit 25% of the recommended retail price (RRP) - not the discounted/sale price. Cancellations made 60-30 days prior to travel date forfeit 50% of the RRP. No shows or client cancellations made within 30 days of departure forfeit 100% of the total ticket price. 

Transfers between tours can be made at the suppliers discretion, however, it should be noted that supplier fees may apply. Tour transfers also incur a $20 administration fee. 

It is compulsory that all cancellation requests are in writing and sent via email to [email protected]. Cancellations attempted via online chat or phone will not be actioned.

Supplier Cancellations:

The Service Operator reserves the right to alter prices, alter itineraries, apply a fuel surcharge, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport and vary itineraries and services if necessary.

All departures and itineraries are subject to weather. Tours may be changed or cancelled for any reason at the discretion of the Service Operator. If the Service Operator has to cancel the trip or activity (prior to departure) and we cannot offer a suitable alternative, then a refund will be given minus a 20% administration fee and any associated card fees. We strongly recommend that you have travel insurance, especially during the wet season.

In the unlikely event of your trip being cancelled or stood down, all guest communication is required to go through our Online Store via telephone or email. While there is a Sailing Whitsundays retail outlet located Airlie Beach, please be aware that they operate as a separate entity and are unable to access reservations made by the Mr Travel online department.

All refunds are in Australian Dollars and must be made to the card of payment. Sailing Whitsundays/Mr Travel is not liable for exchange rate fluctuations or fees, or any other merchant/bank fees associated with domestic and/or international transactions.

Where a full refund is applicable, there is the option to transfer the whole cost of the tour to another tour or “Credit” to avoid the administration fee. A transfer fee of $20 will apply.

You will be emailed confirmation once the refund has been processed. Once the refund has been processed, it may still take time for the banks to clear the amount. Please allow 7-10 business days for the funds to clear into Australian accounts and up to 21 business days for international accounts.

Accountability/Misconduct:

All Service Operators have the right to provide client feedback and to cancel bookings based off of feedback from other Service Operators.

Each tour visits Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Look and 2 or 3 snorkelling locations. Your skipper will carefully choose the best location for the day. Frequently visited places are Hook and Whitsunday Island, Manta Ray Bay, Stonehaven Bay, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island and Langford Island.

 AN EXAMPLE ITINERARY - 2 DAY TOUR

1. Sail to Hook Passage (overnight anchorage). 2. Peter Bay Whitsunday Island (snorkel). 3. Tongue Bay (Hill Inlet Lookout & Whitehaven Beach). 4. Stonehaven Bay Hook Island (overnight anchorage). 5. Blue Pearl Bay Hayman Island (snorkel). 6. Sail back to Airlie Beach.

A friendly crew member will pick you up at 4 pm from the meeting area at the Southern End of the Coral Sea Marina on Shingly Drive, Airlie Beach. Pack light. You can store your luggage in our Check-In-Office in downtown Airlie Beach or ask your accommodation provider. You’ll get taken to the boat, shown your accommodation and given a short introduction of the crew and the boat … and then you are heading out to sea.

SUNSET SAILING

Entice sets off to the Whitsunday Islands and after a brief sailing introduction, you and your fellow sailors will enjoy a sunset sail. Feel free to grab a drink. A snack will be served after dropping sails.

EVENING ON THE BOAT

The evenings are for relaxing, socialising or star gazing. A generous dinner will also be served. This is a great time to exchange travel tales or ask the crew about marine life.

GOOD MORNING

Start the day with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Breakfast is ready for you at 7 am. After breakfast, the tour heads to the 1st location for activities.

SNORKELLING

“Entice” and “O’Nice" snorkel in bays protected from wind and waves. Listen to the snorkel brief, then put on your snorkel suit and grab a mask.  Our crew will drive you directly to the corals and fish with the inflatable dinghy (rubber ducky). Your snorkel guide will stay with you the whole time to watch over you and assist you. Enjoy the great underwater world with peace of mind.

STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING (SUP)

Go for a serene paddle in a bay. Just you and your board immersed in nature."

WHITEHAVEN BEACH & HILL INLET

From Tongue Bay on Whitsunday Island, we will explore Whitehaven Beach. Our crew drives you over to Whitsunday Island to the start of the Lookout walk. After a short bushwalk you will enjoy the most magnificent views from Hill Inlet Lookout. On the other side of Tongue Point awaits Whitehaven Beach. Enjoy some time here relaxing, sun baking and swimming.

THE LAST DAY

After breakfast, enjoy another snorkel site on the morning of your last day in the Whitsunday Islands. Next a big morning tea and then we get ready for another exciting sail adventure back to Airlie Beach.

Thinking of visiting the Whitsundays ? There's every chance you've got watersports , sailing, a scenic flight and a decadent resort stay listed in your holiday bucket list. 

Absolutely say yes to all of those things, but be sure too, to add the following to create the ultimate (and perfectly well-rounded) holiday experience: 

1. Enjoy a progressive dinner - by tuk tuk

No need to travel to Asia, you can have the full tuk tuck experience by booking a tour with Just Tuk'n Around Airlie Beach , a tour operator which has a range of tours operating predominantly in and around the township of Airlie Beach. Our pick? The progressive dinner where your tuk tuk guide will pick you up and take you to three different restaurants (two for savoury dishes and one for dessert). 2. Sink a flat white in a coffee plantation

Buy a souvenir, enjoy the scenery (and the sound of locals catching up) and say yes to drinking your coffee at a table (you'll be charged extra for takeaway cups). 

3. Lock in dinner at Northerlies 

Any Airlie Beach local will insist you go to dinner at Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill . The place to be on a weekend when a live band is playing to a packed beer garden,  you can choose between the bistro menu, or the more casual Beach Kitchen Menu. Either way, the food is great, the mood is relaxed and provided you don't have anywhere else to be, you can easily lose track of time. 

4. See the Airlie Beach by trike 

Not a fan of tuk tuks (or dinner)? Airlie Beach Trike Tours offers both short lap and half-day trike tours in and around the town of Airlie Beach, We're all for walking around the shops and cafes but their 60-minute town tour promises to be the ultimate reconnaissance adventure.

5. Visit the other beaches

There's good reason Whitehaven Beach gets its fair share of the column inches; it really is the prettiest beach you'll ever see. If you're desperate for a similar sort of aesthetic without the tourists however, earmark a day at Froggies Beach, Dingo Beach and Boathaven Beach. 

6. Grab a milkshake with Elvis

Why settle on any old milkshake when you travel back in time to the 1950s and grab one in a neon-lit diner? George's Diner at BIG4 Conway Beach is the vessel, a space where seating is designed to look like a convertible and there's Elvis memorabilia aplenty. Sure you can order a banana split or a spider,but it's hard to go past those shakes. Just be sure to get here before they close at 3pm. 

7. Get a grip on the local history 

Nothing says 'historical town with fascinating sugar cane back story' quite like a quaint country museum, and it doesn't get any more quaint than Proserpine Historical Museum . Run entirely by volunteers, visit the museum to gain an understanding of the blood, sweat and tears that has gone into building up the local cattle and sugar industries. 

8. Meet the local croc residents 

Who can say no to a tranquil morning cruise with the likes of Gus, Gloria and Rambo? Not neighbours as such, but just three of many (MANY) saltwater crocs who call the Proserpine River home. You're not just turning up on your own of course; Whitsunday Crocodile Safari has got the perfect product, a day tour which includes a two-hour cruise, followed by barbeque lunch, wetlands adventure and even damper and tea. 

9. Hit the mountain bike trails
