Welcome to ABC Powermarine, a boatyard based at Beaumaris on the Island of Anglesey, where we have been established since 1934. We aim to offer an all-round service for the boatowner in our modern facilities, including boat storage , servicing and repair as well as an extensive chandlery
What can we do for you?
We offer boat storage in both the boatyard and the north yard of Gallows Point for yachts and powerboats. We operate a Wise 14 tonne boat hoist for hauling out and launching, alongside a Roodberg boat parker. We operate a 'park and launch' boat storage service with year-round, all states of the tide tractor launching and recovery.
Our workshops are capable of accommodating vessels up to 40ft / 12.5m and we can undertake a wide range of marine engineering services , general repairs and refits, respraying and GRP repairs, including insurance work.
We are Anglesey's only Mercury and Mercruiser Service Centre and are dealers for Yanmar and Vetus diesel engines.
We offer a full brokerage service with many new and used boats available and are a dealer for Quicksilver Activ and Captur boats, and Vanguard RIBs .
Our large chandlery is a well-stocked yacht shop and is open 7 days a week . We stock a wide range of products as well as surfwear, leisure clothing and wet weather gear.

50 Accesses Explore all metrics The species composition, taxonomic structure, dominant complex, abundance and biomass, and indices of phytoplankton biodiversity have been determined for the first time using the results of studies of the Vasyugan River in July 2019 and 2021. We have identified 166 species and intraspecies taxa of algae from eight divisions, and green algae (the division Chlorophyta) form the basis of species richness. The dominant phytoplankton complex includes centric diatoms, green algae, and non-heterocyst cyanoprokaryotes. Biodiversity indices reflect high species richness and close to moderate complexity and evenness of the phytoplanktocenosis structure. The trophic status of the river corresponds to the eutrophic category of waters, and the water quality ranges from class 3 (satisfactory purity) to class 4 (polluted).
