The name of Silver Yachts’s newly launched explorer says it all.
Globalfast , which officially hit the seas on September 3, pairs a highly efficient aluminum hull with a powerful propulsion system for excelled seakeeping abilities and speed. In other words, the go-anywhere vessel can get you around the globe quickly.
The 280-footer is the second hull from the Australian yard’s all-aluminum Silver World Explorer series. It follows in the footsteps of the sports-activity vessel Bold, which was launched in 2019 and subsequently named Robb Report ’s Boat of the Week in 2022.

Like its predecessor, Globalfast sports an extreme military-looking exterior penned by renowned Monaco-based naval architect Espen Øino. Silver’s founder Guido Krass previously likened the design to a floating Range Rover on account of the yacht’s hyper-masculine aesthetic and formidable strength. What separates the two vessels, however, is the hue. The newcomer features an eye-catching monochromatic finish, whereas Bold is colored in anthracite gray.

To be sure, Globalfast has impressive performance specs, such as a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The vessel comes with an inordinate amount of “trunk space” for all your toys, too. Most notably, there’s a 24/7 commercial helipad, a hangar and refueling facilities that can serve a range of choppers. ( Bold is also fitted with a certified heli-landing area that houses the boat’s AW109.) The expansive aft deck, meanwhile, is equipped with a nine-ton crane that can hoist tenders, water toys and more.

Onboard, Silver says the living quarters have been styled to reflect the client’s taste, but there are no details or pictures as of yet. To give you an idea, though, Bold has a modern, glass-filled Manhattan loft interior with one owner’s suite, three VIP cabins and four doubles that can accommodate up to 12 guests. Of course, you can also expect a range of different outdoor areas for socializing.
Globalfast is scheduled for handover on October 28. It marks the sixth yacht in Silver’s fast-growing fleet of high-performance aluminum vessels.

SILVER FAST yacht interior
SILVER FAST yacht features an interior design from Vain Interiors , in a contemporary design with luxurious leathers, opulent fabrics, and wood paneling.
She has accommodations for up to 18 guests in 8 staterooms, with an owner’s apartment, three VIP guests suites, one double guest cabin, two twin cabins, plus a Pullman berth. There are accommodations for 16 crew members.
The owner’s deck has a massive stateroom with a separate salon and outdoor area to enjoy. The VIP cabins are also on the main deck, and all have ensuite bathrooms.
The main deck features a lounge and dining areas for guests to enjoy relaxation time and meals together.
There is a theatre room on this deck where guests can enjoy a movie night after a fun day of adventuring on the waters.
A winter garden is also located on this deck. The SILVER FAST yacht also features an impressively sized beach club for the perfect indoor/outdoor relaxation area.
There is also a touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck. Adding to the luxury is a massage and beauty treatment room and a sauna.
The impressive features continue with a customized eight-person jacuzzi, a bar, and a lounge on the sundeck. These features are perfect for experiencing the most luxurious super yachting lifestyle.
The fun continues in the water with Seadoo jet skies, underwater scooters, wakeboards, scuba diving, snorkeling equipment, and many towable water toys.
The tender garage is on the main deck and features two custom tenders that are only luxury.
The exterior of the SILVER FAST yacht was penned by the impressive Superyacht designer Espen Oeino .
She was built by the Australian shipyard Hanseatic Marine, now known as Silver Yachts .
Naval architecture was a combined design of Espen Oeino and Silver Yachts. She is a 2 Silver II model, a signature yacht from the Australian shipyard.
SILVER FAST was launched in 2015 and was the most advanced in the Silver Yachts series.
Her exterior is striking on the water with her silver hue, as she has an aluminum superstructure and hull.
Specifications
The SILVER FAST yacht is a 77m superyacht with a 10m beam and a 2.56m draft. She has a volume of 952 gross tons, which is a low displacement for a superyacht of her capacity.
The owner describes the build of SILVER FAST as a bit like a Porsche or Ferrari with a small body, a lot of technology, and not a lot of weight.
She features 2 MTU engines which give her a maximum speed of 27 knots.
She has a cruising speed of 25 knots and a range of 4000 nautical miles. She is MCA compliant and is a Lloyd’s register class yacht. The $75 million yacht has an annual running cost of $7.5 million.
