Extra Yachts Launches X96 Triplex

Extra Yachts , a brand of ISA Yachts in Italy, has launched its new X96 Triplex. The world premiere is scheduled for the Cannes Yachting Festival this autumn.

The Extra X96 Triplex has exteriors by Francesco Guida and interiors by Hot Lab. The build is fiberglass. The layout accommodates 10 people in five staterooms, including a full-beam master on the main deck.

According to the builder, the X96 Triplex can achieve a top speed 16.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with triple 1,000-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS engines.

Is Triplex the only line that Extra Yachts offers? No. The builder also has Fast and Loft lines of yachts focusing on large internal and external volumes.

Extra Yachts is known for making vessels that are, well, a little extra. Its latest model is no exception.

The new 96-footer, known as the X115 Triplex , offers innovative modular spaces indoors and out that give seafarers a little extra room on board.

For the unversed, Extra Yachts is a brand of Palumbo Superyachts that Francesco Guida recently developed. As its moniker implies, the newcomer is part of the Triplex line of spacious tri-deck vessels that lie at the intersection of performance and luxury.

The semi-displacement yacht features a sleek, sporty exterior conceived by Guida and will be forged from a mix of GRP and carbon fiber. The interior, meanwhile, was penned by Milanese studio Hot Lab and is characterized by “soft, embracing shapes” and natural materials, according to the yard.

The main deck sports two foldable balconies for extra space.  Extra Yachts

The layout can be configured with either five or six cabins. As standard, there is a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, which comes complete with an ensuite, wardrobe, vanity, office and a private balcony. Below deck, there are a further two VIP suites and two guest cabins.

One highlight of the yacht is the cockpit on the main deck. It sports two foldable balconies that expand to offer more than 800 square feet of extra space. All up, the area offers three sofas, a sundeck and views of the hydraulic swim platform below.

Elsewhere, the bow is fitted with two large sun pads and a Jacuzzi, while the lower deck starboard side is equipped with a garage for a 15-foot tender. There is ample room for alfresco dining, as well, with a 10-seat table located on the main deck and upper deck, respectively.

As you might expect, the X115 Triple packs plenty of grunt, too. She is fitted with three gutsy Volvo Penta IPS engines that can churn out 1,000 hp each. This gives the vessel a max speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Luxury yacht ANVILUGI launched in Italy

The EXTRA X96 TRIPLEX model is designed to provide Owners with an abundance of room on board through large volumes while providing an elegant contemporary look inside and out. The 28.5m/93.6ft motor yacht is designed with several beneficial attributes, including a fibreglass hull for a draft of just 1.95m/6.4ft at full load, making the EXTRA X96 TRIPLEX ideal for the shallows of the Bahamas . Furthermore, triple Volvo Penta IPS engines each producing 1,000 HP give a cruising range of 2,000 nautical miles at an economical 12 knots for island-hopping, while the cruising speed of 15 knots and top speed of 18 knots will make good time between hot spots along the French Riviera or Amalfi Coast .

For M/Y ANVILUGI, renowned names Francesco Guida and Hot Lab worked on the exterior styling and interiors respectively. Long dark windows contrast with the white hull and superstructure, giving an on-trend look while having the practical benefit of giving panoramic views and ample natural light to the interiors, particularly the guest accommodation on the lower deck.

The EXTRA X96 TRIPLEX model can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 en-suite cabins, consisting of a main deck master suite, and 2 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins on the lower deck.

The EXTRA X96 TRIPLEX will make a public debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival running from the 7th to the 12th of September 2021.

Extra Yachts X96 Triplex

Superyacht 72 – Winter 2021-2022

Palumbo Superyachts have just launched X96, entry model for the Extra Yachts Triplex range. A three-deck motoryacht characterized by the comfort his wide internal volumes can offer.

The Triplex line raises the idea to the nth power, thanks to the third deck that gifts guests with the greatest comfort Design, clearly signed by Francesco Guida, exalts contrasts between the superstructure soft and rounded surfaces and the strictly white topside, with its wide bronzed-glass surfaces, providing the interior with light and stunning views. It’s Hot Lab’s job here, the Milan based studio that designed an elegant and modern décor dominated by shading tints between scorched land and sand, , where naturally desaturate wood contrasts with satin white elements and black metals. Traditional decorations add a touch of classics, like pottery, pictures and wall lamps.

The layout shows a cockpit and a living area on the main deck, fitted with a huge freestanding sofa, uninterruptedly stretching towards the inner living room where a scenic C-shaped couch, an occasional armchair and a disappearing tv console. The owner’s suite is on the main deck, prow; to the sleeping area it adds wardrobe, vanity and a large restroom. Four en-suite guests cabins are found on the lower deck, two Vips two twin-bedded.. A separate entrance accesses the crew area, composed of three cabins, three restrooms, dinette and laundry.

The upper deck was conceived as a wide en-plein-air living area, thanks to the broad opening windows that create a constant dialogue between internal and external spaces. This deck is home to the bridge, the kitchen and the dining room, connecting to one another through an up and down window, and , externally, a relaxation area with modular couch, bar and a 12 people-table. Same deck, prow, large sunbathing cushions were laid above the tender garage. The sundeck completes the picture, for those who love sunbathing and panoramic views: an observation point is part of the deck, to enjoy the sea and the sky while cruising.

The Dual-Mode Hull, thrusted by three IPS 1350 1000 hp Volvo Penta, allows the yacht a 17.5 kn top speed and a 12 knot cruising speed, the latter guaranteeing a 2000 nautical mile range.

The EXTRA X96 TRIPLEX is a perfect example of a alfresco living, global cruising, combining spaces with performance, value and design features not found from other brands. 

The X96 is what we call a Triple Bridge Yacht as she is comprised of 3 decks in a sub 100ft model where we can sleep 10 guests in 5 spacious cabins plus 5 crew in 3 cabins. 

An impressive 2,000nm range allows her to accomplish extensive cruising yet remain in a very manageable size range which we have found appeals to a large demographic of buyers. The younger generation loves the styling, exterior deck spaces and use of glass in the superstructure combining interior & exterior spaces into one. The experienced owner loves the flexibility of the vessel - it allows you to sleep a large number of guests yet 5 crew assures a high level of service & the size assures you can dock in almost every marina in either the Mediterranean, Bahamas or Caribbean. 

For propulsion the X96 TRIPLEX features triple Volvo IPS 1350 (also available in triple 1,000hp traditional propulsion package) giving her a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruise speed of 12 knots which is where you accomplish that 2,000nm range. 

Each X96 is customized for the individual client including the decor & deck spaces. You have a massive on deck master en-suite, 4 cabins down below and a upper deck that can really be turned into something cool and unique. It can be a traditional sky lounge, or formal dining or a combination of both where we have had a client do a smaller second galley that opens to a lounge. Open the aft doors and the exterior & interior combine into one. Compliment these spaces with a flybridge and you have an impressive package all under 100ft.

Three levels of extraordinary comfort. Extra TRIPLEX range stems from the desire to guarantee large indoor and outdoor areas without compromising the contact with the sea, reduced consumption and unique design.

Among the main objectives of Extra x96 TRIPLEX there is to further raise the standards for yachts below the 100-foot length, especially in terms of usable space, comfort, livability on board and reduced consumption.

Made of composite, in compliance with RINA standards and CE certifications, this yacht has impressive volumes and unmistakable features.

The exterior design, by Francesco Guida, features a unique personality with unusual lines, impressive volumes, an innovative concept of use. The Extra X96 TRIPLEX has been conceived to meet the needs of anyone keen on entering the yachting world, enjoying full contact with nature and in a spirit of full conviviality with guests and family. 

The fly deck, featuring two areas dedicated to sunbathing and one furnished as living, offers the privileged advantage to fully enjoy cruising in total comfort and privacy even on the top deck. Penned by Hot Lab, the interiors are chic and contemporary. Materials, textures and colors have been studied in detail. The design is clean, simple yet refined.

Beautifully illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows, all the spaces are bright and exquisitely connected to the outdoor areas. The upper deck is laid out as a large open-air living area thanks to the retractable windows able to create a single large space, in full contact with the sea. It has been furnished with a 12-seater dining table by Minotti.

On the main deck, the large living room with spectacular C-shaped sofa by Minotti and occasional armchairs is the ideal place to relax and socialize. Thanks to a maximum beam on 7.5 meters, the master cabin located on the main deck forward is the widest in the category of boats under 30 meters. Its design creates elegant and stylish feel using soft luxurious yet sober nuances.

Below deck, there are four guest cabins: two VIP cabins with double bed and two cabins with single beds, all with en-suite bathroom. No compromise on usable space: the area dedicated to guest cabins measures 56 square meters. Precious wood and leather, together with lacquered panels, create a pleasant play of contrasts on the surfaces. The highly technological helm station equipped with all the latest navigational instruments, gives excellent visibility and total control. 

The Extra X96 TRIPLEX semi-displacement propulsion system can rely on three powerful Volvo Penta IPS engines of 1000 horse power each capable of pushing it up to a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, with a range of 2000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Tyler Locklear started the scoring in the third inning with an RBI single to give Tacoma a 1-0 lead. It stayed 1-0 until the sixth, when Dalton Rushing hit a two-run home run to give Oklahoma City the lead.

Nick Payero got charged with just one run in his Triple-A debut, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out a batter over his 5.0 innings. He was followed by Autin Kitchen who also made his Tacoma debut, earning his fourth win of the season.

He earned the win because Tacoma scored four runs in the seventh on a two-run double from Jake Slaughter, an RBI single from Michael Papierski and an RBI groundout from Nick Solak.

The Baseball Club scored a run in their half of the inning on an RBI single from Drew Avans to make it 5-3. The Rainiers answered with three runs in the eighth inning on singles from Samad Taylor and Slaughter.

Up 8-3, they got scoreless innings from Cody Bolton and Jesse Hahn, who struck out five over their 2.0 innings to win their first game of the series.

POSTGAME NOTES:

• Dominic Canzone had his hitting streak snapped with an 0-for-4 game. He had recorded a hit in 11 straight games entering play tonight.
• Jake Slaughter went 3-for-5 with a run and two doubles. He drove in four of Tacoma’s eight runs in their victory.
• Nick Payero made his Triple-A debut tonight, allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks, striking out a batter over 5.0 innings.

EXTRA Yachts, brand of ISA Yachts, presents the new X115 Triplex suited to modern and versatile owners looking for large and modular spaces both outdoor and indoor.

The exterior lines are the brilliant work of Palumbo Superyachts and Francesco Guida, while the Milan based Hot Lab studio took care of the interior. A genuine tri-deck offering the choice between the 5 or 6 cabin version, X115 Triplex reserves the forward main deck to the full-beam owner suite complete with private balcony, separate wardrobe, vanity, office desk and bathroom with double sink.

A layout optimized in every section to ensure that all relevant features are incorporated in each area, in order to provide unparalleled on-board comfort. The interior design of X115 Triplex stems from the desire of transmitting a sense of freshness. A neat, precise style, never out of place, as a whole and in the most minute detail.

EXTRA X115 Triplex follows the style principles gradually set out through increasing revolutions: the incessant refinement and improvement of already excellent details, in the pursuit of ever better execution and precision. The cockpit widens, it becomes mature, generous, a true fulfillment. The salons find a specific purpose, designed to avoid replicas, repetitions, but rather to complement each other through the different decks. Well-though-out elements, simple but always perfectly balanced, instilling at the same time a feeling of profound constructive attention and formal elegance.

One of the strengths of X115 Triplex is the cockpit on the main deck which, thanks to the two foldable balconies, extends over an area of 75 square metres and includes both a living area with with three sofas and a sundeck. The Seabobs are built into the transom with a sinking platform. The 4.6-metre tender garage is placed on the starboard side, allowing for a Jacuzzi to be fitted at the bow together with two large sunpads so as to turn this area into an oasis of pure relaxation.

The heart of the main deck offers a lounge area with sofas and a dining area with a 10-seater table. All served by the well equipped galley on the port side.

Aft of the upper deck we find the second formal table, also seating 10 people, aptly positioned between the internal and the external lounge area: hidden from prying eyes but en plain air .

The interior develops around very large windows, a fine balance of contrast between the neat and light vertical walls and the dark and material flooring projects the floor further down, as if to visually enlarge the available space. Soft, embracing shapes that counterbalance the pure materials used, and at the same time offer visual and practical comfort.

The sun deck, laid out with two sunbathing areas and a living area, offers a privileged observation point to fully enjoy cruising in total comfort and privacy.

Below deck there are four guest cabins: two VIP cabins with double bed and two cabins with single beds, all with bathroom.
