90m/295ft mega yacht LAUREN L (ex.CONSTELLATION) was built by Cassens-Werft in 2002 and her naval architecture is the work of Alpha Marine. Cassens-Werft also completed her exterior styling and while her interior is the work of Alpha Marine. At dockside events she can accommodate up to 300 guests across four decks, and her accommodation provides for up to 36 guests in 20 beautifully-appointed cabins.

The lower deck can be used as a sunbathing area as well as a place to board and disembark from the tenders. Staircases lead up to the shaded main deck aft, where there is a broad stern seating area for guests to spend time outdoors with the views while waiting for transport.

Guests looking for a sheltered outdoor living area will find the upper deck provides two grand alfresco dining tables on the port side and centre, while the starboard side offers a comfortable lounge overlooking the glass balustrades.

The bridge deck aft stores the tenders and larger motorised water toys, which are easily launched and retrieved with the use of a Davit crane. The foredeck is left clear for access to the helipad on the bow, and when not in use the area can be used for observation and hosting events.

On the sundeck, the aft section contains plenty of plush sundeck seating for a large alfresco meal, and there is also a massive Jacuzzi where guests can soak together while enjoying a cocktail from the nearby wet bar. The sundeck forward is fitted with numerous sun loungers for guests to unwind together and take in the forward views.

LAUREN L Specifications

The main deck forward contains five large en-suite cabins each with their own lounge. Amidships, there is an atmospheric lounge styled with dark wooden panelling and contemporary furnishings after a meal in either the formal dining room to seat up to 16 guests, or the larger dining and entertaining area, where there is a grand piano for live music while guests dine at smaller circular tables for more intimate conversations. To the aft of the main deck, there is a sizeable conference room and other facilities including a massage room, steam room, sauna and aromatherapy room as well as a children's playroom.

On the upper deck the forward and mid sections host 10 more double en-suite cabins, while the aft is dedicated to a large skylounge filled with an abundance of seating that is arranged for groups to break off and enjoy private conversation. The remainder of the guest cabins are located on the bridge deck, with the Master suite located to the aft and fitted with a private lounge, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Above, the sundeck interior has a forward observation lounge and an aft gym with an impressive selection of equipment.

COCKTAIL RECEPTIONS

Guests can sink into luxurious Alcantara leather sofas in the main saloon (living room). This room has soft lighting and soothing art for relaxation.  Music from an Ottomeister grand #piano is the perfect backdrop for a cocktail reception. Guests enjoy live music as they mingle, sip exotic drinks, and sample the delicious canapés. In specific, prepared by the yacht’s five-star Italian Chefs. The focal point of the main lounge is the bar.  Magnificent Rosenthal glass sculptures frame the bar, leading out to the ample aft deck.  The dining room features unique artwork and warm mahogany.  Place settings of silver cutlery are from Sambonet of Italy and Carrs of London.  In addition, fine bone china crockery and crystal glassware are designed exclusively for the yacht by Rosenthal.

OWNER’S SUITE

The main owner’s suite is 78 square meters.  It includes a separate conference room, lounge, dressing room, and walk-in wardrobe.  Additionally, a spacious bathroom ensuite boasting a lovely full-sized marble Jacuzzi tub.  The yacht has 3 VIP cabins, all 48 square meters in size.  Each has a salon as well as an ensuite bathroom. The mega yacht has an additional, equally luxurious 10 guest cabins. These are 38 square meters in size.  Important to note, equal in superior amenities to the larger VIP Suites. Finally, there are 10 more staterooms. Each is 19 square meters in size. These offer charter guests adjustable twin/double beds, ensuite bathrooms, and computers. Thanks to Mokka Design and Elysee Yachts Ltd, Lauren L now features brighter, more contemporary interior spaces, which retain their grand, stately aura. In the main salon, navy blue and gold settees have been replaced by powder blue sofas and armchairs, and light blue and cream flooring has taken the place of dated navy and gold patterned carpets. Gone too are the matching curtains. Instead roll-up blinds frame the windows, which creates a more modern look as well as allowing more natural light to flow into the salon. Meanwhile, the master stateroom has been spruced up with new upholstery. Cream damask-patterned curtains match the luxe bed linen, and the carpets have been refreshed. Powder blue armchairs are also new additions. A huge transformation can be seen in the VIP cabin of charter yacht Lauren L. The carpet is no longer red and gold, but boasts soft blue and cream hues, and the gold bed linen has been replaced by an elegant cream option. The new look of these staterooms provides a much more peaceful, calming vibe and the corridors have also been re-vamped to adhere to this theme. The project took place in Athens, Greece , and was overseen by Titan Fleet Management. The next round of work will see an overhaul of the yacht’s dining room. Alongside a master suite and VIP cabin, there are three executive suites and 15 double cabins, 10 of which feature adjustable twin bed facilities. The Amaryllis being towed past the former mansion of Henry Flagler, built in 1902 By John Jannarone and Alan Hatfield The 257’ superyacht Amaryllis apparently owned by exiled Russian oligarch Andrey Borodin was towed past Palm Beach, FL on Friday morning, according to a visual account by CorpGov . The yacht, whose owner is frequently cited as Mr. Borodin by enthusiast publications, moved slowly through the Lake Worth lagoon where bridges were raised for its passage. A towboat with flashing lights about 150 feet ahead pulled the Amaryllis , built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2011. While CorpGov could not officially confirm Mr. Borodin as the owner of the vessel, his wife, socialite Tatiana Korsakova, has posted dozens of Instagram photos and videos aboard the Amaryllis. A yacht broker interviewed by CorpGov confirmed that Ms. Korsakova is indeed aboard the Amaryllis in the photos and videos. CNN has published an extensive list of seized vessels, which were taken in harbor cities including Mallorca, Spain and London. However, it is unclear if the Amaryllis was being seized or voluntarily towed. Very large yachts often choose to be towed because bridges are required to raise for them, according to the yacht broker. The former Bank of Moscow chief was granted political asylum in the UK in February 2013 after fleeing what he alleged to be politically-motivated fraud and embezzlement charges. Mr. Borodin would go on to be tried and convicted in abstentia in Russian Court in 2018, but not before managing to enlist a number of prominent American lawmakers to lobby Washington for a U.S. visa. Despite Russian extradition requests to the UK government, Borodin’s controversial attempts to make large donations to the NHS, and the uncovering of an assassination plot against his life, the fugitive banker remains overseas, having been granted access to his Swiss bank accounts and having made several notable London real estate purchases during his time in exile. Mr. Borodin is widely listed as a billionaire, but his total wealth remains difficult to confirm accurately, with the governments of Switzerland and the Bahamas having been asked to help the Russian government in its legal case. In 2012, Borodin purchased the UK’s then-most expensive home, an 80-hectare 18th-century estate in Oxfordshire, for upwards of $217 million. In 2017 he was granted access to personal Swiss accounts holding a reported $378 million. The Amaryllis was purchased for a reported $120 million. Mr. Borodin did not immediately respond to an emailed query from CorpGov , while the FBI declined to comment.
