On board Sunreef catamaran Great White with tennis superstar Rafael Nadal

International tennis superstar Rafael Nadal had his 24-metre Sunreef power catamaran Great White delivered to him in 2020. In this exclusive interview, BOAT finds out how Nadal uses his boat to enjoy life on the water in between sessions on the court... 

He’s a singles tennis star, but when it comes to hulls, Rafael Nadal is now very much a doubles man. His 23.9-metre 80 Sunreef Power catamaran Great White features a flybridge with a bar and barbeque, a stern garage for a jet ski, an elegant interior in cream and coffee tones, and 360 square metres of living space.

His passion for boats began in childhood, zipping around his home island of Mallorca in his father’s Riviera power boat. He began his own yachting career with a Princess V62, followed in 2017 by Monte Carlo Yachts ’ MCY 76 – nipping home between gruelling tournaments for short snorkelling trips or a night of peace on board. But chartering a Sunreef 74 sailing catamaran made him realise what two hulls can offer. “I met great crew and visited amazing places in the Bahamas,” he recalls. “Those seven days with my family on board were unforgettable – especially thanks to the huge amount of space and comfort. Those were the main reasons that now I own one of Sunreef’s catamarans.”

For Nadal it was all about space. "I have only owned monohulls and on a catamaran I was captivated by the huge amount of space. Honestly, in my small port [in Mallorca], the 80 Sunreef Power is the biggest boat that can dock there. It’s great for me that I can have it here in Porto Cristo, located in front of my house. The huge amount of space that my catamaran has is unreachable by any monohull up to [30 metres]. That is for me the main reason for switching from monohull to multihull."

Nadal said he intended to use  Great White  around the coastline of his home island Mallorca as a break from his intense training schedule. “The pressure of competing every single day is high, you can’t hide that,” he said. “When I come back home, I have the chance to go out and spend maybe just one day away from everything without thinking about tennis, just diving and spending the night on board.”

Designed in-house, the fully customised catamaran is intended for long cruises and features “bold, contemporary hull styling,” the yard said. "I wanted to feel like in my own house," said Nadal on the interior concept. "Of course I had some special requests. I didn’t want a Jacuzzi on the flybridge, because I prefer open spaces. I don’t need features like Jacuzzis on board – I have water around the boat to swim in and enjoy."

Key exterior details include stainless steel portlights, high bulwarks and subtle ambient lighting, as well as a superyacht tender garage large enough to hold a tender, Jet Ski and other water toys. Accommodation on board  Great White  is for a total of eight guests in four cabins, with the owner’s suite sitting in the starboard hull alongside another guest cabin and the crew quarters. Nadal’s master suite features a walk-in dressing room, sofa, flip-down ceiling TV above the double bed and a private fold-down balcony.

“Every time I have the chance, I come back to Mallorca and get on the water. I have always loved the feeling of adventure a boat offers you. You feel free.”

“As someone from an island, as I am, the sea is part of our lives and it’s not a secret that I love the sea. Every time I am at home in Mallorca I try to go out and find that time where I can just enjoy my time on a boat,” he said.

Rafael Nadal’s New Custom 80 Sunreef Power Yacht Arrives in Mallorca

Launched last month at the Sunreef Yachts shipyard in Gdansk – Poland, the 80 Sunreef Power catamaran was officially handed over to her owner – Rafael Nadal in his hometown in Mallorca, last week.

One of the world’s top tennis players, Rafael Nadal, readily shares his passion for yachting, a love of which he has had since childhood. Before commissioning the 80 Sunreef Power , Rafael Nadal and his family spent their holidays chartering a Sunreef Yachts’ sailing catamaran.

This is an unforgettable event for our shipyard to hand over the yacht to such an amazing person and athlete as Rafael Nadal. My team in Gdańsk made every effort to create the yacht Rafa and his wife Maria dreamed of. I am convinced that they will have a great time with their friends and family on board.

The 80 Sunreef Power yacht ordered by Rafael Nadal is an ultramodern vessel created for long offshore cruising and featuring a living area of over 360 m2. This dynamic and elegant model combines comfort and exceptional seaworthiness.

The yacht has fully personalized interiors, including an impressive main deck saloon with access to the front terrace, an owner’s suite with an opening side balcony and luxurious guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms.

The whole interior is kept in bright elegant beige, cream and coffee colors. Among the yacht’s spectacular features is a spacious flybridge with bar, barbeque and relaxation area as well as a stern garage for jet ski. The yacht is equipped with twin 1200 HP engines.

In June, Sunreef Yachts has delivered an 80 Sunreef Power model to international tennis superstar Rafael Nadal, which was named catamaran yacht GREAT WHITE .

The fully custom motor catamaran was delivered to Nadal at his hometown in Mallorca after having been ordered the year before. The tennis player had previously chartered Sunreef Catamarans and had met with Francis Lapp, the founder of the company, at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018.

The exterior styling features high bulwarks, portlights in stainless steel and railings that enhance safety without impeding the views both outside or from within the air-conditioned salon.

The 80 Sunreef Power model offers Owners a generous volume with a fold-down balcony off the Master Suite and a tender garage designed for the storage of jet skis. A pair of 1,200 HP engines provide power for long cruises, as well as for exploring the nooks and crannies around the Balearic Islands. The carbon composite hull and superstructure makes for a light draft to effortlessly access the beaches, and further enhance the stability on board.

Overnight, the accommodation provides for up to 8 guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin, and the crew quarters are in the bow of both hulls.

The starboard side Master suite is the most lavish cabin on board and in addition to the aforementioned fold-down balcony, there is a double bed, a widescreen TV concealed in the ceiling when not in use, a sofa, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom furnished with a sink, toilet and shower.

Nadal previously owned M/Y BEETHOVEN, a Monte Carlo Yachts 76 model which he also used to cruise his favourite waters around the island of Mallorca. M/Y GREAT WHITE will serve a similar role, providing the tennis player with complete freedom and adventure away from his busy training schedule.

Rafael Nadal just scored the ace of catamarans. The 34-year-old tennis star, who is currently ranked No. 2 in the world, last week received a brand spanking new Sunreef 80 Power in his hometown of Mallorca, Spain.

The ultra-modern multihull , which was custom designed for Nadal and his wife Maria, combines five-star comfort with exceptional seaworthiness. Built in composite, the cat sports a sleek silhouette and clean lines that are synonymous with the Polish shipyard.

The 80-footer is an all-around leisure vessel which is perfect for long offshore cruising. It features powerful propulsion in the form of two 1,200 hp engines and can reach a top speed of 24 knots or cruise speed of 14 knots. But it’s the inside where things get exciting.

The yacht’s generous living space spans nearly 4,000 square feet and represents one of the largest in class. It has been fully personalized for the tennis pro with no expense spared. Finished in an elegant colorway of cream, coffee and beige, the interior includes an impressive main deck saloon that has direct access to the front terrace, luxurious guest cabins that come complete with en-suites and an impressive owner’s suite. Fit for tennis royalty, the suite features an opulent en-suite and its own side balcony where the Spaniard can work on his tan.

Elsewhere on the vessel, there’s a spacious flybridge with a fully equipped wet bar, a barbecue and a sizable relaxation area with requisite sun pads. There’s also a large stern garage where Rapha can store his jet skis and water toys (or his beloved tennis rackets).

Nadal has had a passion for yachting since childhood and acquired some remarkable vessels in his time. Before commissioning the 80 Sunreef Power, he helmed a $3 million 76-foot Italian-built MCY 76 motor yacht named Beethoven for his love of classical music. And, recently, his family spent their holidays chartering a Sunreef sailing catamaran while waiting for his new delivery.

Sunreef Yachts has announced its latest high-profile customer, after Rafael Nadal ordered an 80 Power catamaran

Tennis star and keen boater Rafael Nadal will be the proud owner of one of the first Sunreef 80 Power catamarans after buying into the Polish yard’s new flagship range.

As comfortable on the water as he is on a clay court, Nadal cites his childhood in Mallorca as the reason why he’s so keen to spend his downtime boating.

“As someone from an island as I am, the sea is part of our lives and it’s not a secret that I love the sea,” he said. “Every time I am at home in Mallorca I try to go out and find that time where I can just enjoy my time on a boat.”

Having previously chartered a Sunreef yacht, the 18-time Grand Slam winner is well acquainted with the Polish yard’s work.

“I am very happy to [join the] Sunreef Yachts family and would like to thank [yard founder and president] Francis Lapp for making this possible,” he added.

The Sunreef 80 Power is making its public debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival , although Nadal’s fully-customised version will not be delivered until next year.

Nadal also owns an MCY76 called Beethoven , which was listed for sale earlier this year with Camper & Nicholsons, asking €2.6million.

A bordo del catamarano di Rafael Nadal, un colpo di fulmine scoccato a Cannes

Più che una barca, la nuova barca del mancino di Manacor è una vera e propria casa per navigare tra le Baleari o guardare un film

"Ho degli splenditi ricordi del charter a bordo dei multiscafi : questo è il motivo per cui ho voluto un catamarano mio " afferma Rafael Nadal . La leggenda del tennis da buon maiorchino ama navigare tra le isole Baleari, come si evince dal profilo Instagram ufficiale in cui avevamo già avuto un piccolo assaggio della sua nuova barca Great White , il multiscafo 80 Sunreef Power .

Negli anni il mancino di Manacor ha più volte dichiarato che il fatto di non essersi mai separato dal suo ambiente abituale e di aver mantenuto la stessa routine lo ha aiutato ad essere più sereno e ad avere una carriera più lunga. E tra le abitudini di Nadal vi è proprio quella di trascorrere, sin da quando era piccolo, molto tempo al mare in barca con la famiglia; crescendo ha iniziato a pensare di essere lui stesso armatore di un' imbarcazione , così nel 2013 ha acquistato la sua prima barca. " La barca per me è come una casa , dove trascorro diverso tempo divertendomi e, contemporaneamente, mi offre la possibilità di disconnettermi da tutto il resto", racconta l'atleta.

Dopo diversi monoscafi, tra cui lo yacht di lusso di 24 metri Beethoven costruito da MCY, Rafa Nadal ha scelto di possedere un catamarano : "Il multiscafo è più stabile in navigazione e, personalmente, credo non ci sia paragone con gli spazi che puoi avere a bordo rispetto a un monoscafo, oltre al fatto che puoi ospitare più persone".

La scelta del catamarano conferma il trend positivo degli ultimi anni di questa tipologia di barca, questo perché gli armatori desiderano sempre più spazio vivibile a bordo ma anche perché prima il multiscafo era visto come una barca adatta prevalentemente per il charter, e quindi più spartana negli interni e con meno cura nei dettagli. Oggi, invece, cantieri come Sunreef Yachts hanno lavorato tantissimo per cambiate la percezione di questo prodotto, proponendo sul mercato catamarani di lusso di elevate qualità prestazionali ed estetiche, adatti anche per gli armatori più esigenti.

Durante il Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 lo stesso Nadal è rimasto particolarmente colpito nel salire a bordo dell' 80 Sunreef nella sua versione a vela e di constatare i grandi spazi vivibili: un vero e proprio colpo di fulmine che lo ha condotto all'acquisto della stessa barca ma a motore , più semplice, a suo avviso, da poter governare.

Nadal ha preso parte in modo attivo alla personalizzazione del suo 80 Sunreef Power: "La prima cosa che ho chiesto" - afferma Rafa - "quando ero a Cannes, ancor prima di pensare di comprarne uno, è se fosse possibile abbassare un po' le murate dello scafo, poiché quando ero seduto nel salone della versione dell'80 Sunreef a vela ho notato che non avevo la visibilità del 100% sul mare. Dopodiché è iniziata la personalizzazione degli interni, di cui avevo già un chiaro layout in mente, avendo già navigato sui multiscafi e tenendo in mente che questa barca è ad uso privato e non per il charter. Personalmente credo sia importante avere diverso spazio a disposizione perché, quando vuoi condividere momenti speciali con la famiglia o con gli amici, ognuno può godersi la barca in zone differenti. È importante, secondo me, che ognuno trovi il suo personal space ".

A bordo il campione spagnolo ama godersi appieno il mare e navigare tra le isole Baleari , un luogo dove poter scoprire sempre posti nuovi, anche se afferma che in futuro vorrebbe fare navigazioni più lunghe, cosa che attualmente, dati gli svariati impegni agonistici, deve rimandare per il poco tempo a disposizione per lo svago.

Il catamarano di Rafael Nadal Great White è lungo 24,4 metri e può ospitare fino a otto persone nelle quattro cabine. Lo yacht ha interni completamente personalizzati, tra cui un impressionante salone sul ponte principale con accesso alla terrazza sul mare, una suite armatoriale con balcone laterale apribile e lussuose cabine ospiti con bagno privato.

L'interior design è interamente giocato da una palette calda e delicata come le nuance del beige, del tortora, del crema, del caffè e del marrone chiaro caldo: il tutto conferisce un'atmosfera rilassante.

Il fuoriclasse del tennis racconta che, grazie alla conformazione del catamarano , a bordo può trascorre il tempo in diverso modo, ad esempio il tender, dalle dimensioni impensabili per un monoscafo, gli permette di scoprire diversi posti, come le calette nascoste dove non hanno accesso gli yacht dalle grandi dimensioni, oppure può scegliere di usare il jet ski o pescare.

Tre sono gli spazi propri del catamarano che il campionissimo predilige: il flybridge, che considera un posto eccezionale con vista sul mare a 360° con bar, barbacue, zone relax per divertirsi con gli amici; il cockpit, ovvero il posto più tranquillo della barca dove poter rilassarsi, con un grande tavolo adatto ai pranzi e alle cene e, infine, il salone sul ponte principale, uno spazio che gli garantisce un home feeling e che ritiene difficile da immaginare se non si è a bordo. Qui Rafa ama trascorrere le serate guardando un film in tv o... lo sport, naturalmente!

The tennis world champion has a passion for beautiful motoryachts. Today, he shows us, in pictures, his brand new acquisition, an 80 Sunreef Power, a luxury motoryacht catamaran, an exceptional unit that has enabled the Polish shipyard to enter the super yacht market on the same level.

An experienced sailor, Rafael Nadal has been passionate about yachting since childhood and never misses an opportunity to go out to sea with his friends and family. Having owned monohull yachts until now, he decided to have a custom catamaran built for him after visiting and chartering Sunreef Yachts catamarans in the past.

Seduced by both the design and the living space of the 80 Sunreef Power, he opted for the latest model from the shipyard and took delivery of Great White last month.

Great White, Rafael Nadal's 80 Sunreef Power can accommodate up to 8 guests thanks to its comfortable 4-cabin layout. The starboard hull houses the owner's suite, one of the guest cabins and the crew quarters.

The spacious master suite features a walk-in wardrobe, sofa, overhead fold-out TV and a private sea view balcony. The port hull accommodates two other guest cabins and the catamaran's galley.

Great White's bright saloon offers great comfort with its two large sofas next to the entrance to the aft cockpit, a dining area for 8 people at the bow and two 77" TVs installed back to back. An additional lounge area with sofa is located next to the entrance to the forward sundeck.

The large aft cockpit of the catamaran offers an exceptional open-air dining area, well protected from the sun and sheltered from the wind. Under the large sofa, the aft garage of Great White accommodates a three-seater jet-ski and a selection of nautical toys as well as a refuelling station. A hydraulic platform has been installed to carry the yacht's tender and provide additional space for sunbathing on the water's edge.

The flybridge is the privileged relaxation area where guests enjoy an outdoor lounge equipped with solariums and a bar.

Equipped with two 1200 HP engines, the 80 Sunreef Power Great White expects a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.

Appena consegnata alla superstar del tennis Rafael Nadal, l’80 Sunreef Power Great White ha suscitato un grande interesse nel settore fin dall’inizio di giugno. Ecco le foto dell’armatore a bordo del suo lussuoso motoryacht di 80 piedi.

Quella di Rafael Nadal è una passione nata fin dall’infanzia : navigatore esperto, il campione coglie ogni occasione per uscire in mare con gli amici e la famiglia. Da tempo l’idea di costruire un catamarano personalizzato fa parte dei piani dell’atleta superstar. Nadal, affascinato dal design e dallo spazio abitativo dello yacht, è entrato a far parte della famiglia di armatori di Sunreef Yachts , prendendo in consegna il mese scorso l’ 80 Sunreef Power Great White .

L’80 Sunreef Power Great White può ospitare fino a 8 ospiti grazie al suo comodo layout a 4 cabine . Il suo scafo di dritta ospita la suite armatoriale, una delle cabine ospiti dello yacht e gli alloggi dell’equipaggio.

Dotata di un ampio spazio abitabile , la cabina armatoriale principale dispone di una cabina armadio, di un divano, di una TV a soffitto ribaltabile sopra il letto matrimoniale e di un balcone privato a scomparsa. Lo scafo di babordo può ospitare altre due cabine ospiti più spaziose e la cucina del catamarano.

Il salone di Great White è dotato di due ampi divani a poppa , uno spazio pranzo per 8 persone a prua e due TV da 77”’ installati uno dietro l’altro. Un ulteriore angolo relax è stato allestito accanto all’ingresso della terrazza di prua.

Il pozzetto di poppa a tutto baglio del catamarano offre uno straordinario spazio pranzo all’aperto ben protetto dal sole e dal vento e dotato di una TV a prova di intemperie. Sotto il grande divano, il garage di poppa del Great White nasconde un jet-ski e una selezione di toys con stazione di rifornimento. Un’ampia piattaforma idraulica è stata installata per trasportare il tender e offrire un ulteriore posto per prendere il sole accanto all’acqua.

Il flybridge mette a disposizione degli ospiti un salone esterno disposto in accoglienti aree salotto , un bar, grandi prendisole e una TV a scomparsa.

La propulsione di Great White deriva da due motori gemelli da 1.200 hp  che consentono una velocità massima di 23 nodi e una velocità di crociera di 16 nodi .

Eso es lo que debió pensar el tenista Rafael Nadal cuando adquirió su nuevo yate, el 'Great White' , un catamarán de 24 metros de eslora , diseñado y fabricado en el astillero Sunreef Yachts en Gdansk, Polonia; ultramoderno, dinámico y elegante, combinando comodidad y una navegabilidad excepcional.

Cuando Nadal compró este yate, la envidia de todos los amantes de la navegación, ya tenía decidido deshacerse de 'Beethoven', su hasta entonces fiel escudero en alta mar. Sunreef Yachts revela ahora el video de este lujoso yate a motor de 80 pies propiedad del para mucho mejor deportistas en la historia de España.

Las raíces isleñas de Nadal, natural de Manacor, le llevaron desde bien pequeño a tener una relación especial con el mar y a sentir el deseo de poder navegar cuando fuera adulto. Su vida como tenista y sus millonarios ingresos le han permitido con el paso de los años cumplir el sueño de personalizar el catamarán que tanto anheló para poder navegar junto a su familia y amigos y desconectar de la tensión competitiva y el ruido mediático.

Sunreef Yachts logró seducir a Nadal gracias a la garantías de crear un producto casi con todos los materiales y diseños que él tenía en su mente. Portillos de acero, iluminación ambiental y un exclusivo garaje para vehículos más pequeños, tales como lanchas, motos de agua y balsas inflables a motor, con las que el tenista se divierte ahora cada vez que tiene la oportunidad de perderse en alta mar.

El 'Great White' tiene dos motores de 1200 hp , capaces de impulsar al yate a una velocidad máxima de 23 nudos y la velocidad máxima de crucero suele establecerse en los 16 nudos. El salón principal del bote está rodeado de ventanas acristaladas y cuenta en su interior con dos enormes sofás, un comedor ideal para ocho personas y otros dos televisores de 77 pulgadas , por si acaso hay diversidad de criterios a la hora de manejar el mando a distancia.

El precio de este lujoso yate, que hace referencia al Gran Tiburón Blanco, que bien podría ser el mítico golfista Greg Norman o el propio Nadal por su voracidad dentro de las pistas de tenis, se establece entre los 4,2 y los 5,6 millones de euros.

Rafael Nadal estrena su espectacular catamarán

De 5,5 millones de euros, el tenista y su esposa mery perelló han navegado por mallorca acompañados de la familia.

Este fin de semana se hubiera celebrado la final de Roland Garros , en la que muy probablemente hubiera estado Rafael Nadal, vigente campeón del torneo francés, que ha ganado en 12 ocasiones. Pero la cancelación de este y muchos otros eventos deportivos a causa del coronavirus, ha permitido al tenista de Mallorca disfrutar de su isla y del mar.

Nadal, que el miércoles cumplió 34 años, ha aprovechado el fin de semana para estrenar su nueva embarcación a la que ha llamado el Great White (Gran blanco). Se trata de un moderno y lujoso catamarán 80 Sunreef Power, de 24 metros de eslora, con capacidad para 12 personas, y cuyo precio oficial es de 5,5 millones de euros.

Rafael Nadal y su esposa Mery Perelló han navegado por las aguas de Mallorca acompañados por varios familiares , entre los que se ha podido ver a Sebastián y a Maribel, el padre y la hermana del tenista. Antes de salir del Club Naútico de Porto Cristo, donde está amarrado el catamarán, el matrimonio ha participado en las labores de limpieza y puesta a punto de la embarcación. Así se ha podido ver a Rafa y Mery poniendo en orden los muebles de la cubierta y limpiando concienzudamente las barandillas y el suelo.

Para Rafa Nadal la adquisición de la embarcación significa mucho más que un simple capricho tal como afirmó cuando lo compro a la empresa Sunreef Yatchs: “Para alguien como yo, que soy de una isla, el mar es parte de mi vida y no es ningún secreto que amo el mar. Cuando estoy en mi casa, en Mallorca, trato de salir y disfrutar de ese momento en el que paso mi tiempo en un barco”.

Llega el verano y con él los viajes a bordo de los yates de lujo que poseen los bolsillos más acaudalados de España. Entre los personajes que ya se han lanzado a surcar los mares se encuentra Marta Ortega , presidenta de Inditex a bordo del Grizzle, y el tenista Rafa Nadal . Este último ha sido visto a bordo de su nueva embarcación en aguas mallorquinas antes de partir hacia el Máster 1000 de Montreal (Canadá).

El tenista encargó el catamarán Great White a la marca Sunreef Yatchs con sede en la ciudad polaca de Gdansk hace ahora 3 años. El diseño exterior de la embarcación no fue realmente un secreto durante la construcción, pero la cosa cambiaba sobre el interior con tan solo unas pocas fotografías hechas por el propio fabricante de yates.

El amigo y expiloto de Fórmula 1 Nico Rosberg fue el encargado de mostrar al mundo todos los pormenores internos del barco. Rosberg, cuya amistad con el tenista español viene de hace años, grabó un vídeo en el que Nadal actuaba como buen anfitrión . En el metraje, de unos 16 minutos, se pueden observar detalles como la terraza en la cubierta inferior o una sala con una mesa de ping-pong.

La elección de un catamarán en lugar de un barco monocasco no ha sido puro azar. Son embarcaciones mucho más manejables, estables y rápidas que las naves monocasco si se comparan con esloras similares. También el precio de compra y el coste de amarre es mayor, al ocupar más metros de ancho que el resto de embarcaciones. Aunque donde de verdad se ve el factor diferencial es en el diseño interior.

Los 24 metros de lujo

El modelo elegido por el tenista de Mallorca es el Sunreef 80 Power, uno de los catamaranes estrella del fabricante polaco y ha sido bautizado como Great White . El encargo se materializó el pasado verano cuando la propia Sunreef publicó imágenes de Rafa Nadal a bordo de su flamante barco.

"El Sunreef 80 Power es un yate multicasco universal para cruceros de largo radio con la máxima comodidad ", según lo describen en la página web oficial. "El caso y la superestructura dinámicos del yate extienden los espacios habitables al extremo, ofreciendo infinitas opciones para el diseño y la decoración personalizados".

Este último extremo es, probablemente, uno de los más importantes para cualquier millonario que se compra un yate. La personalización y el diseño interior (el exterior ya es más complejo) son las señas de identidad y lo que diferencia unas embarcaciones de otras de su mismo modelo.

Los 24 metros de eslora por 12 de manga del Great White  se transforman en unos 370 metros cuadrados de espacio interior habitable, siendo uno de los más amplios de su clase. El camarote principal es el centro del yate donde se ha instalado un televisor anclado al techo y abatible sobre la cama, un vestidor, un gran sofá y un balcón.

La embarcación tiene espacio disponible para alojar hasta 8 personas en 3 cabinas , entre las que se incluye la  suite de Nadal, y camarotes para la tripulación. Aunque, verdaderamente, el espacio más importante es el gran salón central como punto de encuentro de todos los huéspedes. Tiene capacidad para 8 personas e incluye un par de televisores de más de 70 pulgadas. 

Ya en el exterior, el  Great White tiene un cenador al aire libre en la zona de la popa -con televisor incluido- y un solárium donde los huéspedes pueden usar las tumbonas. En un segundo espacio, también en la popa, se encuentra la zona de baño desde donde tener acceso directo al agua cuando el barco esté fondeado.

En cuanto al resto de especificaciones, el  Great White cuenta con un par de motores que desarrollan 1.200 caballos de potencia cada uno que impulsan al barco a una velocidad máxima de 24 nudos con 14 nudos de crucero.

Antes de elegir un catamarán, Rafa Nadal había apostado por un yate monocasco con una apariencia mucho más discreta . El Beethoven fue su embarcación de recreo desde que lo adquirió -nuevo- en 2016 y hasta 2019, cuando se puso a la venta por 2,6 millones de euros. Aunque se estima en que el precio de adquisición final fue sensiblemente menor.

El Beethoven es un encargo al astillero italiano Monte Carlo Yatchs por unos 3 millones de euros de puro lujo. También con 24 metros de eslora, este yate -que finalmente se lo ha quedado una familia mallorquina- cuenta con dos cubiertas en las que se encuentran un par de salones, la  suite y los camarotes . Todo ello con espacio para 8 personas, igual que el  Great White , y las comodidades propias de cualquier barco de lujo.

Tiene un diseño futurista y elegante

Con un diseño futurista a la par que elegante, el catamarán cuenta con todo tipo de lujos, como una piscina de hidromasaje, spa, garaje, zona de bar y múltiples asientos al aire libre. Pero el interior no se queda corto: un amplio espacio abierto alberga el salón, el comedor formal, la cocina y el puente de mando.

Como lo lees, el catamarán tiene espacio suficiente para alojar hasta 12 personas cómodamente. La decoración interior, moderna y sofisticada , apuesta por una gama neutral de grises que otorgan todo el protagonismo a los materiales y acabados de lujo, como el mármol o la madera de teca.

Incluye una zona de bar en el interior

Si el tiempo se pone feo o si empieza a hacer algo de frío, el catamarán dispone de un coqueto  bar en el mismo área donde se encuentran la cocina, el sofá y el comedor .

La cocina cuenta con isla central

Ubicada junto al puente de mando, la cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario para disfrutar de un fin de semana inolvidable. El fregadero está situado en la isla central con encimera de granito gris, con un diseño moderno, limpio y definido.

Acabados en mármol

Frente a la isla central nos encontramos con otra encimera tipo Silestone con acabado en mármol, a juego con el frente, generando un ambiente sumamente elegante que se ve ensalzado por las vistas al mar.

Suite principal de superlujo

No podía ser de otra forma, un catamarán de tales dimensiones debía contar sí o sí con una suite de lujo , ¡y aquí la tienes! Dispone de una cama doble con vistas al mar, un baño con ducha a ras de suelo, vestidor y escritorio.

Un baño con esencia masculina

Con un diseño moderno que juega con las texturas y apuesta por los acabados metálicos, el baño de la suite goza de una esencia masculina potenciada por el conjunto de vaso y dispensador de jabón en color negro mate.

La pared de la ducha se revistió con mármol blanco y se añadió grifería de color negro con acabado mate para generar contraste.
