The award winning 49.9m/163'9" motor yacht 'Endeavour 2' by the Italian shipyard Rossinavi offers flexible accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins and features interior styling by Italian designer Salvagni Architetti.

Built in 2017, Endeavour 2 offers beautifully proportioned decks for exquisite indoor/outdoor living during a luxury yacht charter .

Guest Accommodation

Endeavour 2 offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, one double cabin and two twin cabins. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Rolls-Royce Marine engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 76,400 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. Her low draft of 2.2m/7'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines. Endeavour 2 features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.

Onboard Endeavour 2 has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. When it comes to Tenders, Endeavour 2 has you covered - with two tenders, including a 7m/23' Wooden Boats Limo Tender.

Endeavour 2 and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is also accepting bookings this winter on request.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht ENDEAVOUR 2 is a 164 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski and a hot tub. The promiment features of ENDEAVOUR 2 are her impeccable styling and fantastic layout. ENDEAVOUR 2 spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the ship builder Rossi Navi in 2017. An elegant refit was completed in 2022. The expansive yacht layout features 5 generous cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.

ENDEAVOUR 2 is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, expansive aft deck, continues to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a well-design space for early mornings or late evenings and boasts a number of entertainment options. 5 tasteful cabins are laid out with vison for maximum room, access, comfort and privacy.

ENDEAVOUR 2 is a new built tri-deck explorer yacht, launched by Rossinavi in 2017. This 50m has been conceived for long range cruising. With a maximum speed of 16 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots her range is 5,000 nm. ENDEAVOUR 2 displacement aluminium yacht is suited for long range expeditions.

The exterior areas of the ENDEAVOUR 2 make various configuration possible, including an exclusive sun area forward, placed over the wide garage.

She is a fully customized yacht with minimalist interior and lightweight materials. The yacht’s profile is characterized by a broad use of window surfaces that guarantee a constant dialogue between interior and exterior areas and ensure magnificent floor to ceiling panoramic views from inside.

ENDEAVOUR 2 features a saloon with sliding doors on the upper deck as well as an exclusive sun area and a cockpit furnished with sunbeds forward. Furthermore the outside dining area is located on the upper deck, while the main aft deck is equipped with comfortable seating and an enclosed bimini for protection in bad weather.

ENDEAVOUR 2 accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms. She is ideally suitable for 8 adults and 2 small children.

The generous full-beam owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck and offers plenty of light and a wonderful panorama thanks to the large windows along the two main sides, essentially bringing the outdoors inside. The owner´s suite features a private balcony as well as a huge walk-in shower.

The 2 equal-sized twin cabins with en suite facilities and the convertible VIP stateroom are located on the lower deck. The VIP stateroom can either be used as one large suite with private saloon or if separated by means of a large sliding door as 2 cabins, with en suite facilities. The VIP saloon features a sofa which can be converted into a smaller bed. This bed is comfortable for two children but not recommended for two adults as it does not offer the same comfort than the beds in the other cabins.

The yacht is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound and video system and guests can connect to this system with their own Apple smart devices.

With endless options for complete indulgence and entertainment, guests will be pampered in this breath taking retreat from the ordinary. ENDEAVOUR 2 is an exceptional superyacht with design that emphasizes all the great attributes of a contemporary explorer yacht.

Yacht Accommodation

Accommodation includes five cabins for up to ten guests. This includes a master suite located forward on the main deck with a private balcony and a large walk-in shower. The lower deck is home to two VIP suites that can be turned into one large suite with a private saloon or divided by a large sliding door, creating two separate staterooms with double beds. There are additional two twin staterooms on this deck. All accommodation includes private ensuite bathroom facilities.

ENDEAVOUR 2 for charter

ENDEAVOUR 2 is a new built tri-deck explorer yacht, recently launched by Rossinavi. She has a maximum speed of 16 knots, cruising speed of 12 knots and 5,000nm range. The yacht is designed for worldwide cruising, suited for long range expeditions and features amongst other things an amphibian car to ensure that guests reach remote places in style.

The vision of this extraordinary yacht was born through the desire to explore the far away and lesser-known coasts and oceans of this world. ENDEAVOUR 2 is powered by a diesel electric power plant and propulsion by means of azimuthing Rolls Royce thrusters.

A fully customized yacht with charter oriented layout, characterized by many minimalist details and lightweight materials. The yacht’s profile is characterized by a broad use of window surfaces that guarantee a constant dialogue between interior and exterior areas and ensure magnificent floor to ceiling panoramic views from the interior.

ENDEAVOUR 2 features a saloon with sliding doors on the upper deck as well as an exclusive sun area and a cockpit furnished with sunbeds forward. Furthermore the outside dining area is located on the upper deck, while the main aft deck is equipped with comfortable seating and an enclosed bimini for protection in bad weather.

ENDEAVOUR 2 accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms. The generous full-beam owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck and offers plenty of light and a wonderful panorama thanks to the long windows along the two main sides, essentially bringing the outdoors inside. The owner´s suite features a private balcony as well as a huge walk-in shower. The 2 equal-sized twin cabins with ensuite facilities as well as the convertible VIP stateroom are located on the lower deck. The VIP stateroom can either be used as one large VIP suite with private saloon or as 2 separate double cabins, with ensuite facilities. The VIP stateroom can be separated into two double cabins through a sliding door and the sofa in the VIP saloon features a sofa which can be converted into a double bed.

With endless options for complete indulgence and entertainment, guests will be pampered in this breath taking retreat from the ordinary. ENDEAVOUR 2 is an exceptional superyacht with design that emphasizes all the great attributes of a contemporary explorer yacht.

History of Endeavour Yachts

The Endeavour Yacht Corporation was founded in 1974 by John Brooks and Rob Valdes in Largo, Florida. John Brooks was born in 1934 in New York City and got started in the business first with Charlie Morgan, and later with Ted Irwin, Vince Lazzara (an early owner of Columbia Yachts), and sons Brad and Dick at Gulfstar. Rob Valdes was the younger brother of Dick Valdes, cofounder of Columbia and then later Lancer Yachts. Rob began his career at Columbia, and was persuaded by Vince Lazzara, then joined Gulfstar. It was at Gulfstar where Rob met John Brooks.

The Beginning

To get their fledgling company off the ground Ted Irwin, who was then located in Tampa Bay, gave Brooks and Valdes the molds for his 1970 vintage Irwin 32 for a minor stake in the fledgling company 1 . Endeavours' in-house production and design person Dennis Robbins took the Irwin 32 , modified it, and named it the Endeavour 32 . It was introduced in 1975 and just under 600 2 were built during its production run. Encouraged by its success they looked around for a sister ship. Looking for boats along the Miami River, Brooks and Valdes found an old abandoned Ray Creekmore design which Dennis also modified. The 34ft design was cut in half, they added 3 feet to the midsection, and created the Endeavour 37 of which 476 were sold. The early Endeavours (E32, E37, and E43) were simple, straight forward boats with outboard chainplates, short rigs, and strong, moderate hulls using a combination of polyester resin and fiberglass woven roving and multi-directional chopped strand fiber (MCSF). These "Florida" boats sacrificed windward sailing performance for shoal draft, which is a requirement of the Florida Keys and Bahama Islands. Dennis Robbins left Endeavour and went on to run Ted Irwins designs, and then later to the mega yacht company, Trident, in Tampa. At this point Bob Johnson (today, CEO of Island Packet fame) joined Endeavour as the principal in-house designer for a 2- to 3-year period and was responsible for the design of the Endeavour 43 (1979) and the Endeavour 40 (1981).

The 1980s ushered in a new era in boat building and the pressure was on for more performance-oriented designs and updated construction methods. Also the charter market was growing and they wanted faster, more comfortable boats so Endeavour began to respond to this need by introducing the Endeavour 40 in 1981, but it wasn't until America's Cup designer Johan Valentijn was commissioned to design the Endeavour 38 (1984), and Bruce Kelley the Endeavour 33 and Endeavour 35 (1984), that the company made a real effort to improve performance. Where earlier boats had been cored with 4–6" squares of plywood, the newer Endeavours used Klegecell closed-cell polyvinyl foam coring and incorporated "a multi-axial steel reinforced 'force grid' bonded to the hull for stiffness."

By 1985, Johan Valentijn had designed the Endeavour 42 and Endeavour 51 and the company was now almost exclusively building center cockpit boats for the charter trade and cruising families. These boats were easily handled, moderate design boats suitable for offshore work, with taller rigs and inboard chainplates. At this point Endeavour stopped using the Klegecell core and returned to using end-grain balsa in the sheer-to-waterline areas, plywood where compression strength was needed for thru bolting hardware, and incorporated a structural grid system built up of triaxial fiberglass encapsulated urethane foam. Valentijn also designed the Endeavour 38 and Endeavour 52

The End of an Era

In 1986 John Brooks closed the doors and the company was bought out of bankruptcy by Coastal Financial Corp. of Denver where he stayed on as sales manager. Doug Franzese, the former Production Manager at Gulfstar, was hired on as General Manager.

By 1988 the company was building 100 boats a year with 105 employees, down from 200 boats a year and 300 employees in 1984. Despite their upgrading the line of boats, they were hurt by declining sales and competition with their own products in the used boat market. Endeavour Yacht Corporation effectively went out of business in 1988 when it was sold to an investment firm from Charleston, SC. The new company changed the production models and attempted to build catamarans but being unsuccessful, they went out of business the same year. Coastal Finance Corporation sold it again in 1991, and after several more changes in ownership, it became the builder of multihulls called the Endeavour Catamaran Corporation . Although it's a different company today producing cruising catamarans, they briefly (unconfirmed) produced several custom sailboats in the 45 to 59ft range. 3

A New Company

During this period Bill Symons, a fiberglass multihull builder on Long Island, had a 28-foot cat-rigged catamaran designed by Rob Ladd, which he eventually licensed the molds to Endeavour. However, with the changes in ownership Symons transferred the molds to America Cruising Yacht Corporation (a reorganized Irwin), but claims that Endeavour copied the molds before doing so. After making some design changes, the Endeavourcat 30 was introduced in 1992. America Cruising introduced the AmeriCat 3014 shortly afterward but the company went out of business. Symons then took the molds to Hutchins (Com-Pac) and sold the boat as the Symons 30.

On April 24, 1996, John Brooks was found dead in his St. Petersburg home at the age of 61. According to local police, the motive was apparently burglary. At the time of his death, he was active in the boat financing business. 4

Five bodies found inside superyacht that sank off Sicily

PORTICELLO, Sicily — Divers recovered four bodies Wednesday from inside a superyacht that sank in a sudden storm off Sicily , Salvatore Cocina, director of the island's Civil Protection Agency, confirmed to NBC News.

Cocina later confirmed to Sky News that a fifth body had been found and was being brought to shore. One passenger remains missing.

The identities of the bodies were not immediately released. Their recovery follows a dayslong search in the deep waters off Italy where British tech tycoon Mike Lynch  and several others were believed to be trapped in the hull. Fifteen of the 22 people aboard survived.

The rest had been missing since early Monday, when the Bayesian was caught in the storm anchored off the coast of Porticello, a village near the Sicilian capital city, Palermo.

The body of the ship’s cook, identified as Recaldo Thomas, a Canadian Antiguan national, was recovered Monday. 

On Wednesday, NBC News witnessed what appeared to be at least three body bags being lifted from fire department boats after they pulled into port at Porticello. It was unclear whose bodies they were. Some were later transferred to ambulances and driven away from the dock.

Lynch’s 18-year-old daughter, Hannah; Morgan Stanley International Chairman Jonathan Bloomer and his wife, Judy; and Clifford Chance lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife, Neda, are also missing. 

The Bayesian is owned by a firm linked to Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, who was among the survivors rescued by a nearby vessel after they got into a lifeboat.

Built by the Italian shipbuilder Perini Navi in 2008, the U.K.-registered yacht could carry 12 guests and a crew of up to 10, according to online specialist boating sites. Its nearly 250-foot mast is the tallest aluminum sailing mast in the world, according to CharterWorld Luxury Yacht Charters.  

Regularly described in U.K. media as “Britain’s Bill Gates,” Lynch was  acquitted of fraud by a San Francisco jury this year, stemming from the sale of his software company Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard for $11 billion in 2011.

The Mediterranean sailing vacation was designed to be a celebration for Lynch, who brought Bloomer, who testified in his defense, and Morvillo, one of his U.S. lawyers, on the trip.

Lynch's co-defendant Stephen Chamberlain was not aboard the Bayesian, but in what appears to be a tragic coincidence, a  car struck and killed  him Saturday as he was jogging in a village about 68 miles north of London, local police said.

Five bodies were retrieved on Wednesday, and a sixth on Friday , by divers searching for those missing from the superyacht which sank off the Sicilian coast in the Mediterranean. The bodies found include British tech tycoon Mike Lynch , the UK’s Telegraph reported. The bodies have not been formally identified by the authorities yet.

It is understood that they were retrieved from inside the sunken yacht, which is reported to be lying on its side on the sea bed at a depth of 50 metres

The yacht capsized on Monday at about 5am (03:00 GMT) after it was hit by stormy weather caused by a “waterspout” – or mini tornado – according to Italian authorities.

The cruise had reportedly been undertaken to celebrate the acquittal of Lynch in a fraud trial in the United States in June.

His co-defendant in the trial, Steve Chamberlain, who was also acquitted in June, was killed after being hit by a car on Saturday.

Here’s what is known so far about the yacht, those on board and who died or were still missing after it sank.

Who was on the superyacht which sank?

According to the Italian coastguard, the 56-metre-long (184 feet) British-flagged yacht, called the Bayesian, was carrying 22 people, including 10 crew members.

One person has been confirmed dead after rescuers located a body on Monday at a depth of about 50 metres (164 feet), the AFP news agency reported. Officials have not yet given the name of the deceased but Italian media reported that he was the yacht’s chef.

AFP reported on Tuesday that divers had spotted a second body inside the sunk boat, quoting a source close to the search operation. Authorities have not confirmed it yet, though.

While not all the names of the six missing passengers were not made public officially, they were understood to include:

• Mike Lynch, 59, a British-Irish technology businessman who co-founded British tech company Autonomy in 1996 and was once likened to Microsoft founder Bill Gates; he earned a PhD from Cambridge University
• Hannah Lynch, 18, Mike’s daughter, who had just completed her final school exams and was due to begin a degree in English at the University of Oxford this September
• Jonathan Bloomer, the 70-year-old British chairman of Morgan Stanley bank and the Hiscox insurance company, was confirmed as missing by Hiscox CEO Aki Hussain
• Judy Bloomer, Jonathan’s wife, was also confirmed as missing by Hussain
• Chris Morvillo, from British international law firm Clifford Chance, was confirmed to be missing by Salvatore Cocina, head of the Civil Protection in Sicily

Fifteen people, including Lynch’s wife, Angela Bacares, were rescued. Among others rescued were Charlotte Golunski, 36, a board director at Luminance, a software startup founded by Lynch; her husband, James; and their one-year-old daughter, Sophie. Golunski is understood to have kept her daughter alive by holding her above her head while she was in the water.

All those rescued are in stable condition, although eight of them have been hospitalised, according to Italian news agency Adnkronos.

What do we know about the Bayesian?

Italian shipbuilder Perini Navi constructed the superyacht in 2008 and refitted it in 2020, according to the company’s website.

The yacht’s owner is listed as Revtom Limited, a firm solely owned by Lynch’s wife, Bacares, according to company documents seen by the Reuters news agency.

It was formerly called Salute but was renamed Bayesian after Lynch’s PhD thesis and his software that earned him a fortune. Both of these were based on the statistical Bayesian theory, championed by mathematician Thomas Bayes.

Where was the Bayesian last seen and where was it going?

The Bayesian was last located on Sunday evening in the Tyrrhenian Sea, east of the harbour at Porticello, according to ship tracking websites Vessel Finder and Marine Traffic.

Porticello is a port city located near the Sicilian capital, Palermo.

The yacht had departed on August 14 from the Sicilian port of Milazzo. Its destination was reported to be the Italian city of Bagheria by the tracking websites.

Did a waterspout cause the yacht to sink?

Italian authorities reported that the stormy conditions that caused the yacht to sink were triggered by a waterspout.

A waterspout is a rotating column of whirling air and water mist – sometimes referred to as a mini tornado – according to the website of the US National Ocean Service.

The website adds that a tornadic waterspout is a tornado that forms over water or moves from land to water. They are similar to land tornadoes and can occur during thunderstorms.

Who is Stephen Chamberlain and how is he connected to this case?

Chamberlain, 52, was Lynch’s co-defendant in a fraud trial in San Francisco, which saw both men acquitted in June.

Chamberlain died in a hospital from injuries sustained when he was hit by a car while out running in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, on Saturday. His death was confirmed by his lawyer Gary Lincenberg in a statement on Monday.

The fraud case related to Hewlett Packard’s $11bn acquisition of Autonomy, the firm Lynch grew into the UK’s leading tech company before it spectacularly unravelled after being bought by HP in 2011.

Lynch was extradited to the US in May 2023 and he spent more than a year under house arrest before his acquittal. Chamberlain was the former vice president of finance at Autonomy.

The yacht trip was supposedly a celebration of Lynch’s acquittal.

How did the rescue operation unfold?

Specialist divers began a search anew for the six missing people on Tuesday. Three divers, equipped with oxygen cylinders, descended beneath the surface to examine the wreck.

They initially faced difficulty accessing the yacht’s chambers because they were constricted by furniture.

An investigation into the wreck has been opened by prosecutors in the nearby Sicilian town of Termini Imerese.

What have survivors and witnesses said about the incident?

“It was terrible. The boat was hit by really strong wind and shortly after it went down,” survivor Golunski told the ANSA news agency.

She added that she had lost hold of her one-year-old daughter in the water for “two seconds”, but then managed to grab her and hold her up over the waves until a lifeboat inflated and they were both pulled to safety. She reported that people were screaming.

Karsten Borner, a captain of a nearby yacht who witnessed the sinking, said he had turned on the engine of his ship to prevent collision with the Bayesian. “We managed to keep the ship in position and after the storm was over, we noticed that the ship behind us was gone,” he told reporters.

Bloomer’s wife, Judy, is a trustee of the Eve Appeal, a UK-based gynaecological cancer research charity. Athena Lamnisos, the CEO of the Eve Appeal, was quoted by the BBC saying she was “deeply shocked to hear the news that our very dear friend and her husband Jonathan, are among those missing”.
