Monaco Yacht Show 2024

The Monaco Yacht Show is returning for its 33rd edition this September: the most anticipated event of the yachting calendar. It is the ultimate display of grandeur and elegance, set in the world’s number one yachting destination.

Immerse yourself in all-things-yachting at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024 (MYS), held between the 25th and 28th of September. Showcasing everything from the world’s largest and most luxurious vessels to the most sophisticated technological innovations, this show rightfully takes its place as the most anticipated event of the yachting year.

The most significant industry players will all gather at the idyllic location of Port Hercule, including the world’s biggest ship builders, renowned designers and refit yards, not to mention the most exciting superyachts themselves.

Last year, MYS was bigger and better than ever, with the second instalment of the highly successful Sustainability Hub: an area dedicated to raise awareness of environmental issues and educate attendees on the new sustainable initiatives within the industry.

Step into the Adventure Area and discover some of the world’s most sought after gadgets, featuring everything from sports tenders and luxury vehicles to helicopters and high-tech gadgets. Encouraging the exploration of some of the planet’s most remote destinations, the Adventure Area highlights the endless possibilities that accompany the yachting lifestyle.

As usual, Superyachts.com will return to our established Breaking News Centre, conducting interviews with leading industry figureheads to discuss some of the most topical events of the year.

Last year saw the first ever The Honours: a ceremony that recognises the people that make the superyacht world so exceptional. This was a highly successful event, which is set to return to MYS 2024 to showcase the incredible nature of the superyacht industry.

CARINTHIA VII at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023

Unveiling The Revamped Icon

Every year, the yachting elite gather in the gleaming bay of Monaco to witness the launch of world-class vessels. This year, however, promises to be different – all thanks to the newly refitted 97m masterpiece, CARINTHIA VII.

Lürssen and Fraser, two monoliths in luxury yachting, will proudly present this stunning vessel at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show. Originally built in 2002, CARINTHIA VII has undergone an extensive refit at Lürssen's state-of-the-art Hamburg facilities, bringing her back to the limelight.

The yacht's exterior now boasts redesigned decks with spacious lounging and living areas, exuding luxury at every corner. The added 12m/39' pool and adjacent fitness room will be a magnet for the show's attendees.

One of the pioneering mega yachts, CARINTHIA VII, was first christened as 'Project Faberge' during her initial build phase. The name wasn't an accident; like the intricate Fabergé eggs, this yacht was crafted with attention to detail and sophistication. Built entirely in steel, CARINTHIA VII stands as a testament to German engineering and craftsmanship. Her design, envisioned by multi-award-winning designer Tim Heywood, not only set the standard for future mega yachts but inspired several vessels that inherited her design DNA.

Interestingly, while CARINTHIA VII's exterior has graced many gazes, her interiors remain a mystery, shielded from the public eye. This year's presentation, therefore, provides an exciting opportunity for yachting enthusiasts to peek into the luxurious world she encompasses.

It is noteworthy that CARINTHIA VII is not only being presented post-refit but is also entering the charter market for the first time, represented by none other than Fraser. Mark Duncan, Fraser's Director of Business Development & Marketing, aptly captured the essence of what the yacht offers: "We suspect CARINTHIA VII is going to be as much a part of those after-charter dinner conversations as the unforgettable moments we know she is going to help create."

Indeed, chartering CARINTHIA VII isn't just about hiring a vessel—it's about living an experience. As Daniela de Marco, Fraser's Head of Charter Management, Europe, highlighted: "To be able to create all that for such a renowned yacht as CARINTHIA VII... is a privilege and a pleasure we can't wait to deliver on."

Peter Lürssen, Managing Partner of Lürssen, mirrored this sentiment: "She remains a very particular vessel and is a testament to the solidity of our German engineering and manufacture."

One of the world's most prestigious yacht events is set to return to glistening Port Hercule, for another premium edition of the Monaco Yacht Show.

The epitome of premium indulgence, the Monaco Yacht Show is scheduled to run from 25-28 September and is the place to be if you are looking for some of the very best luxury charters or superyachts for sale.

Offering a layout designed to provide a seamless and effortless transition around the show, admittance to the show presents all visitors with pre-registered badges, specially allocated to give you the access needed to view the most relevant exhibits for your requirements.

Incredible yacht charters at the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show never falls short on presentation and the 2024 edition looks to be no different. All the yachts on show throughout the beautiful Port Hercule are the very best on the market, with many luxury yacht charters measuring up at 164ft (50m) upwards.

Wednesday 25: 10am - 6:30pm (access by invitation only) Thursday 26 and Friday 27 Sept: 10am - 6:30pm Saturday 28: 10am - 6pm 

Admission to the show is allowed until 30 minutes before closing time.

VERTIGE - For Sale and Charter

Delivered by Tankoa Yachts in 2017 as the inaugural S501 series yacht, VERTIGE is offered for sale for the first time. She showcases design by Francesco Paszkowski, with her interiors blending teak and polished rosewood for a calm, sophisticated style.

VIP Access – Sapphire Experience: For those seeking a premium experience, the Sapphire Experience is the official VIP program of the Monaco Yacht Show. This exclusive pass provides access from Wednesday, 25 September, through Saturday, 28 September, along with additional benefits like private tours, premium hospitality, and more. Standard Visitor Passes: If you prefer a flexible approach, 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day passes are available, valid from Thursday, 26 September, to Saturday, 28 September. These passes can be purchased directly from the Monaco Yacht Show website. Prices are as follows:

• 1-day pass: EUR 690
• 2-day pass: EUR 1,170
• 3-day pass: EUR 1,860

Yacht Access

Please note that access to the yachts on display is at the discretion of the yacht owner and their management. Your Ocean Independence broker will coordinate visits, ensuring your time at the show is well spent. We recommend discussing your preferred yachts with your broker in advance to secure appointments, as access is typically arranged prior to the event.

Important Details

• The opening day on Wednesday, 25 September, is exclusively reserved for invitation holders and Sapphire Experience passholders.
• Children under eight years old receive free entry when accompanied by an adult holding an invitation or Sapphire Experience pass.
• There is no physical box office at the show, so all tickets must be purchased online in advance. After purchasing, you will receive a digital pass to be scanned at the entrance.
