The Indian River Queen cruises on Florida's gentle intracoastal waterway, which is also part of the Indian River Lagoon, one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems and estuaries. Meet new friends with our cruise ship style dining in the Queen's room or find a private table on the outside decks. This is a wonderful opportunity for small celebrations and gatherings. The Queen's party and event planners will be happy to reserve seating for groups or parties of 6 or more. These public cruises are only available once a month due to the Queen's busy private charter service -  available for corporate events, weddings and reunions. These special public dinner boat cruises are limited to 85 passengers. Advance reservations are required.

This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate birthday parties, anniversaries, small weddings and other special occasions. Book a private party in the Queen’s Room during this public event. The Queen’s Room is an enclosed air-conditioned dining room with large windows to enjoy the views, a full service bar, catering, restrooms and room to dance. Catered food service and entertainment can be provided for your private party. This is the perfect opportunity for groups of 20-100 guests to party on the Queen without having to charter the entire boat. The Queen’s Room will be restricted to passengers in the private party during public scenic cruises.

The Barbara-Lee

Welcome to the Rivership Barbara-Lee. The only authentic sternwheeler sailing the St. Johns River. Measuring 105 feet from stem to stern, the ship was built in 1986 and was extensively refurbished prior to its inaugural St. Johns cruise in 2012. Featuring ornate wrought iron railings and massive wooden paddle wheels, the five-story rivership accommodates up to 194 guests, making it ideally suited to host events of varying sizes. Plus, all enclosed decks are climate controlled by air conditioning and heating.

The Barbara-Lee departs from Historic Downtown Sanford almost daily. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO CRUISE.

All narrated cruises include your choice of chef-prepared entrée, live entertainment, and endless hospitality, as well as a well-stocked bar. Lunch cruises depart the dock in downtown Sanford Wednesday through Sunday with dinner cruises available on Saturday nights.

THE BARBARA-LEE MENU

Once you’ve been seated, you’re able to select your entrée from The Barbara-Lee Menu. Should you have questions, helpful staff are on hand to answer them. Upon selection of your meal, you simply give your menu slip to your server. Then, just sit back and relax or take a stroll about the ship.

Entrées are chef-prepared to your liking and served with side salad, freshly baked rolls, chef’s choice vegetables and dessert.

USDA choice cut prime rib prepared to your specifications. Served alongside buttery mashed potatoes.

Tropical Chicken

Slow-roasted chicken breast with Parmesan and a savory mango-pineapple chutney atop rice.

Chicken Marsala

Chicken breast prepared in a Marsala sauce reduction with mushrooms and Parmesan and served alongside buttery mashed potatoes.

Chicken Parmesan

Grilled chicken breast with Parmesan cheese and marinara sauce alongside pasta and a side of chef’s choice vegetables.

Salmon Fillet

Thick-cut salmon prepared with your choice of Lemon Butter Sauce or Teriyaki Glaze atop rice.

Roasted Vegetable Lasagna

Layers of slow-roasted vegetables, pasta, marinara sauce and three kinds of cheese. Crisp romaine lettuce tossed in our signature Caesar dressing, with homemade croutons and Parmesan topped with your choice of grilled Chicken Breast or Salmon Fillet.

Boarding/ Parking:

Hernando Beach Marina address: 4139 Shoal Line Boulevard, Hernando Beach, Florida 34607. Slip # 18 Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure. Parking- Drive inside gate, turn left behind building, then turn right, then turn left into parking area where the vessel is docked. (At times it will be necessary to park in the parking lot in front of the marina and walk into where the vessel is docked.)

Cruises must be booked a minimum of 24 hours prior to boarding time. A minimum number of  passengers is needed to sail.

Island Rose is available for private charter up to 18 passengers.  Food and Beverage for an additional charge.

This is a non-smoking vessel

If you look under 40, we ID, so please bring identification.

Alcohol consumption may be regulated by Captain or crew.

No outside food or beverage allowed

Once we receive payment for the cruise. It is NOT refundable. With 24 hour or longer notice you may reschedule the date of your cruise. Cruises are not transferable within 24 hours of your scheduled cruise. There is no compensation for no shows or late arrivals. If within 24 hours of the event, inclement weather occurs, or if the Captain feels the conditions are unsafe for the vessel to sail, or upon the direction of the USCG, we will remain dockside, but provide the full dining experience and passengers for dinner cruises will receive a voucher for $25 off of a future dinner cruise and lunch cruises that remain dockside will receive a $15 cruise only gift certificate that can be used towards a future cruise. 

In the event that we cancel a cruise, more than 24 hours in advance, you will have the option of a full refund or to book a future cruise.

Yacht StarShip crew members and management reserve the right to limit the consumption of alcohol to any guest who is disruptive or appears intoxicated.

Dress Code: At Yacht StarShip we strive to create a sea of memories for everyone on board. We expect our guests to help support our inviting and family-friendly atmosphere by arriving in the appropriate dressy casual attire. We ask guests NOT to wear the following: excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments, see-through attire, mesh outfits, clothing with offensive language or graphics, ball caps, or torn pants. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inform their party of the dress code. Admittance to Yacht StarShip is at the discretion of management who reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who arrive in attire not fitting our dress code, regardless of the reservation status. Patrons and guests who arrive and do not meet dress code requirements will not be permitted to cruise and tickets will be moved to store credit that is good for up to one year.
