- Neoprene mast gaiter to stop water running down the mast into the cockpit and also due to the neoprene construction it allows the cover to cater for different mast sections and different mast rakes without distorting the cover.
- YKK zips. Regarded as the best zips money can buy.
- Hugely strong 3 pin clips instead of string or buckles for fastening your cover to your boat which are quicker and easier to fasten with gloves or cold fingers.

Product Description
Here is your chance to own the best fitting 49er/ 49er FX cover on the market! We have spent countless hours perfecting these covers to provide you with the highest quality SLO Sail and Canvas product possible. This sailboat hull cover will completely enclose your 49er/ 49er FX hull wrapping over the gunwale under the wing protecting the hull from the elements. This cover must go on over the transom first and then fitted over the bow. This was done so that the cover would have the most ideal fit over the negative transom to reduce flutter. The bottom cover also has a mesh drain located under the center board trunk so your cover can drain any excess water. Our 49er/49er FX bottom cover fits snugly above the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and four straps with buckles across the deck. The straps go under the wings with a buckle meeting in the middle of the boat for easy access and adjustment.
You can add a cut out for the cassette to be left on the boat with the bottom cover on for an additional cost. Reflective Tape or a Mesh Drain can also be added to your cover for an additional cost as well.
We offer this cover in four different fabric types, look over the fabrics in the drop down chart below.
Note: All of our covers are patterned from the actual boats they are designed to fit. This make for a better, higher quality product.
