Take a look inside Tommy Hilfiger's $46 million superyacht that you can charter from $444,000 a week
- Fashion juggernaut Tommy Hilfiger owns a $46 million superyacht called Flag, which is up for sale.
- The 203-foot yacht built by Feadship in 2000 is available to charter from $444,000 a week.
- It has 7 bedrooms, a walk-in closet, crew quarters, a garage for yacht toys, and an elevator.
Luxury real-estate YouTuber Enes Yilmazer and his team spent four days on Tommy Hilfiger's yacht. The vessel's called Flag and is on sale with Burgess for $46 million.
The group toured the yacht and interviewed Tommy and Dee Hilfiger while on the trip in the Bahamas last month.
The yacht is 62 meters (203 feet) long and 10 meters wide. It was built in 2000 by Feadship and has 7 state bedrooms, 6 state guest rooms, and an owner's suite. It's listed for sale with Burgess .
The yacht is available for charter in the Mediterranean in the summer for $444,000 a week and the Caribbean in winter for $476,000 a week.
The state guest rooms have king-sized beds with electric window shades and portholes that give guests views of the surroundings.
Guest bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs, mosaic tiling, and heated floors.
Crew members stay in staff quarters on the lower level where two people share each cabin. There's also a crew area where they have all their meals and play board games.
They work 12-hour days and get two-hour long breaks when guests are on board. Or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday when guests are off.
In the "beach-club" area there's an outdoor shower and a garage where snorkeling gear, wakeboards, paddleboards, and other items are stored.
There's a separate garage for two tender boats and Jet Skis are kept on the bow.
The owner's stateroom, located on the main deck, comes with two bathrooms, a study and desk, a pop-up TV, and a walk-in closet.
The bathrooms have a walk-in shower, a built in bathtub, and a bidet toilet.
The owner's room also has a study with a built-in desk and a library area.
There are multiple outdoor areas where guests can dine al-fresco.
There's a kitchen where two chefs prepare gourmet meals for guests and crew.
The dining room has an oval table that can seat 12 underneath a chandelier. On the other side of the room is a main salon with couches and a bar area.
One of the outdoor decks has a jacuzzi, charcoal grill, and pizza oven.
Tommy Hilfiger told Yilmazer that he decided to buy a yacht after he spent years chartering them. âMy friend built a yacht and it was pretty fantastic so I bought it,â he said.
"It was called Faith before and I changed it to Flag," Hilfiger told Yilmazer. "The reason why I changed it to Flag is because my logo of my company is a red, white and blue flag and because of my company I was able to buy the yacht." He said the reason why he wanted to buy a Feadship yacht is "the same reason I wanted a Mercedes, they're the best in the world."
Yilmazer told Insider: "The experience of staying aboard Flag was really incredible, to be invited aboard this yacht by the owners Tommy and Dee Hilfiger made it really special."
Yilmazer added: "Something that I take great pride in is attention to detail. Its something that I always look for in our tours. The attention to detail that the builders and architects put into the work they do is the same level of precision that I want to bring to our tours. And with Flag it was clear in every way that attention to detail matters to both this crew and to Tommy himself. This yacht is in perfect condition in every way."
There's a dining table for six where Yilzamer and his team had their meals. It leads to the sky lounge where there's a bar, TV, couches, and seating area.
Outdoor seating areas are decorated with Tommy Hilfiger-themed cushions.

Tommy Hilfiger on fashion, fame and his 62m Feadship
For celebrated US fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, a boat is not just a boat; itâs so much more: a source of inspiration, a place for relaxation and a trigger for innovation â the epitome of his enduring ethos, he tells Lucy Dunn.
The Mediterranean in summer is a veritable home away from home for fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and wife Dee â or should we say yacht away from yacht? âWe bump into friends from America literally every day,â Hilfiger tells me. âRight now weâre anchored next to neighbours of ours from Palm Beach and weâve just had lunch with friends from Manhattan. Itâs great, weâre not complaining!âÂ
His 62-metre Feadship Flag is moored in Monaco and Hilfiger is speaking to me via video link from his office on board. Baseball cap on and sleeves rolled up, heâs in holiday mode â up to a point. Between catwalk shows and new collections, summer is traditionally downtime for designers and he is using this time to coast hop â âPortofino! Capri! Porto Cervo!â he says, reeling off his favourite places â although his diary is never completely clear. âMuch to Deeâs dismay,â he laughs. âAnd the kids are like âDad, are you on the phone again?â But I love working, I love my brand. Iâm very involved.â
Hilfigerâs story is the stuff of American dreams: a suburban kid from Elmira, New York, who opened a small clothing store in 1969 selling bell-bottom jeans, and who went on to create a multi-billion-dollar fashion empire. The idea for his label came to him in a dream in 1972, he tells me. âI could actually picture in my mind what I wanted it to be and what I wanted the clothes to be. It took a while to get there because there were ups and downs financially, but Iâm realising that dream today.â
His vision â to give all-American preppy clothes a cooler edge and team them with more streetwise sportswear â has never wavered. In the pop-culture-obsessed era of the early 1990s, his clothes appeared across the fashion, music and entertainment worlds, and this strong connection to culture still runs through the brand today.
The brand is spearheaded by a distinctive red, white and blue logo. I ask Hilfiger about its nautical meaning, whether the white and red are taken from the International Code of Signals flag for âHâ (for Hilfiger, and which when hoisted means âI have a pilot on board.â) âYou noticed!â he says, delightedly. âYes, when I started, I wanted something nautical because the aspirational lifestyle is so linked to yachting. I wanted something that meant something; something I would always be identified with.â In his 2016 memoir he reflected on this further: âIâve always loved the look and feel of yachting and sailing and being on the sea,â he wrote. âIt conjures places in the world infused with wealth, warmth, romance, excitement, inspiration and aspiration: Newport, Nantucket, Portofino, Saint-Tropez. Just as in my dreams as a boy, being on the water is all about escapism... The good life is something everyone wants.â
He was chartering a yacht in 2005 when he met his second wife Dee Ocleppo on a beach in Saint-Tropez. They married three years later. The couple both have children on the autism spectrum (Hilfiger was one of the first mainstream designers to launch an inclusive adaptive clothing line for adults and kids with autism and special needs) and this was one of the things they initially bonded over, along with a shared love of fashion and design. (Dee later went on to launch her own affordable luxury accessories line and transformed the Judith Leiber label into a high-octane handbag brand beloved by Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and BeyoncĂŠ.)
With the nautical-inspired logo in place, when Hilfiger bought his own yacht in 2017, he already had the perfect name: Flag. He got her from friend and business partner Lawrence Stroll. âIâd been a guest of Faith ( Flagâs former name) many times and loved it and thought that if he ever decided to sell, Iâd be the guy to buy her.â
With the help of Ralph Lauren creative director Chahan Minassian, Stroll had completely refitted Faith from top to bottom. Hilfiger loved what heâd done: âFirstly, Feadship is by far my favourite yacht builder in the world. But the way it was refitted was fabulous: classic, but with modern conveniences and a modern look. It was right on target in terms of the right amount of, I would call, decorative ambience with the right amount of casual space, but at the same time a beautiful old-world classic.â
Hilfiger had already done his homework by chartering a selection of yachts, including the iconic Christina O as well as Diamond A , Huntress and Galaxy . He spent time working out what he did and didnât like. âAs a designer, Iâm very particular about things like furniture, carpeting, bathroom fixtures and colour scheme, and I donât want any of my environments to be obnoxious or overdone,â he explains. âBut I also donât want them to be too minimalistic; somewhere in the middle. And of course I wanted it to be liveable for my family as well as chic and beautiful for my guests.â (Ever the businessman, Hilfiger planned to charter Flag when not using it himself.)
Stroll made Hilfiger wait six years. âThen one day he called me and told me he was building another boat and asked if I would be interested in buying her. I said âOne hundred per cent!â So within a four-week period we built a deal and I took over Flag when he took delivery of the new Faith .â
Hilfiger and Dee then set to work, enlisting Minassian again, this time to make Flagâs interiors their own. âWe did a lot of work on the galley (Tommy and Dee are both big food lovers), redesigned the bedding, soft furnishings. I also made the tenders, slide and jet skis Tommy Hilfiger colours. I wanted everything to look cohesive.â
The result is elegant yet modern, luxurious yet not ostentatious or showy. Rich mahogany trims and furniture are contrasted by crisp white leather, gleaming fixtures, and finishes in chrome and marble. Hermès sheepskin chairs, cosy sofas and deep cream carpeting underfoot add a palatial hush. Graphic-print accessories lend a nautical vibe, while sleek modern art adds subtle impact: the highlight, a light sculpture called Portal by artist Chul-Hyun Ahn hanging in the formal dining room, cleverly mirrors the plasma TVs hung around the yacht. The final touch in Flagâs Hilfiger-ification was the logo, which sits aloft next to the yachtâs name on the superstructure. Thereâs no doubt this is Hilfigerâs boat.
Chartering a yacht can sometimes feel like either intruding in someone elseâs space or stepping into a commercial blank canvas that has no personality, but Flag is neither, deftly balancing intimacy and style throughout its four decks and seven guest cabins. It is advertised to sleep 12 guests for charter, but will comfortably sleep 18, and there is a 17-person crew.
Hilfiger knows how to build a successful charter business. âMake sure you have a great crew like mine who pay attention to detail, who are watching every guest and thinking ahead, second-guessing their needs,â he advises. âAlso, itâs so important to have great captains who will lead the way, who inspire the crew and motivate them. If you have these then you will have guests coming back every year like we do.â
And if you were trying to persuade someone who was thinking of chartering but dithering? âI would tell them âJust do it,ââ Dee says. âYouâll never experience service and privacy quite like when you charter or own a yacht.â Youâll also never have a holiday quite like it, she adds. âOnce, when we were in the Bahamas on vacation with our son, Sebastian, we were parked in front of a beautiful tiny island with crystal-clear water. I was learning how to e-foil when a small pod of curious dolphins came up right behind me and swam around me.â
The familyâs favourite room is the lounge on the bridge deck aft, which has the best views of the sea. âWe call it the blue salon,â says Hilfiger. âItâs like a movie theatre with a big-screen TV with a bar. We often end up there in the evening. I also like the dining table on the aft deck because thatâs where we have the most fun having dinners with friends and family. Thereâs a lot of chatter and a lot of, I would say, inspiration.â
Hilfiger thrives on inspiration, and even after decades at the helm as principal designer he is still very much the eyes and ears of the brand, continually driving it forward by embracing the new. He was one of the first designers to tap in to the power of celebrity endorsement, via famous fans like Snoop Dogg and P Diddy, and he makes a point of continuing to collaborate with those at the heart of the zeitgeist, from small streetwear brands to Formula One. âYou have to look at everything â everything,â he stresses. âI call it F.A.M.E: fashion, art, music, entertainment, plus influencers, sport. Itâs whatâs making the clock tick now.â
Of course, in this TikTok age fashion is about more than clothes, and at 72 Hilfiger joins a select group of impressively tireless greats including Vera Wang (74), Giorgio Armani (89) and Ralph Lauren (83) who continue to expand their empires in new ways (Armani even collaborated with The Italian Sea Group to design a 72-metre yacht last year).
When it comes to yacht-linked brand extensions, however, Hilfiger arguably got there first with Flag . Lewis Hamilton, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are often seen gracing her decks, while Kardashian âmomagerâ Kris Jenner and boyfriend Corey Gamble are also regular guests.
I ask whatâs next for the Hilfiger brand. âWell, fashion is something I love and have been doing for 40 years,â the designer replies. âBut in the last 20 years, Iâve been really engaged in decorating and developing my residences, so itâs very important to me that I mix the two together. I would like to continue to develop Hilfiger into a total lifestyle brand.â
So branded residences, cars, hotels, maybe even a line of boats? He nods. âI find it visually exciting to look at a space and say, âOK, what can we do with it?â There are so many possibilities if you have a vision and a creative idea.â
One major decision in recent months is that Tommy and Dee have decided to put Flag up for sale. The couple have seven grown-up children from their previous marriages (Sebastian, 14, is the son they share), and when you add partners and a grandchild into the equation family get-togethers can become quite busy. âWhen you have so many guests, you need a little more space,â he says. âIf I get the right price, Iâll sell it and maybe build something larger. But if I donât, Iâll keep it and be very happy because itâs an amazing boat.â
If he sounds tinged with sellerâs remorse, itâs only because he loves the yacht, calling it his âmost prized possessionâ. âOne of my friends who has a Feadship called me last week. He said âWhy would you even think of selling? You have one of the best Feadships ever built!â I said, âYou know, I was thinking maybe a little bit wider, a little bit bigger.â He said, âDonât be stupid, youâll never be able to replace it.â But weâll see...â He shrugs, laughing. âEverything is for sale, sort of â homes, cars, properties â but weâre very happy and weâre doing well!â
If he sells Flag , what will he do with his downtime then? Is there anything aside else that could drag him away from his laptop?
âSilverback gorillas in Rwanda,â Hilfiger says without hesitation. âIâm obsessed with animals and nature. Iâd like to go on some deeper safaris, go off-grid.â
So heâs not hanging up his baseball cap quite yet?
âNoooo! Iâm still young! Iâve still got so much to do!â
And I think Iâm inclined to believe him.

Breaking news, meet flag: inside fashion designer tommy hilfigerâs $46m mega yacht for sale.
Fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has given the world a look inside his luxury mega yacht, which is currently on the market for $46 million.
If that sounds out of your budget, the 203-foot yacht Flag is also available to charter at a cost of about $402,000 to $444,000 per week for summer cruising in the Mediterranean and about $450,000 to $476,000 per week for winter cruising in the Caribbean.
For those of us who can only imagine what it is like to be able to afford that level of luxury, American content creator Enes Yilmazer has given us a sneak peek.
Yilmazer was invited aboard Flag for four days in the Bahamas and in a 51-minute YouTube video has given fans a detailed look at the yacht Hilfiger previously described as his âmost prized possessionâ.
âI was chartering yachts for many years,â the fashion icon told Yilmazer.
âMy friend built a yacht and the yacht was pretty fantastic, so I bought it. It was called Faith before and now I changed it to Flag .
âThe reason I changed it to Flag is because my logo of my company is a red, white and blue flag and actually because of my company I was able to buy the yacht.â
The yacht, built in 2000 by Feadship and bought by Hilfiger in 2017, has four decks and seven guest cabins.
It is advertised to sleep 12 guests for charter , but in the sale listing , Flag is said to comfortably sleep 18 guests. There is a 17-person crew.
Hilfiger said he had âdone a lotâ to the yacht, including a ânew galley, new tenders, new toysâ.
His wife, Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, said her favorite thing to do was swim and snorkel.
âAnd then I love all the toys, I love the e-foils and the jetskis. I like water skiing and I love all the sports and activities,â she said.
According to listing brokerage Burgess, the yacht comes with a water slide, trampoline, aqua park, kayaks, waterskis, a wakeboard and kneeboard, two jetskis, two SeaBobs, scuba diving equipment, and fishing and snorkeling gear.
There is also gym equipment, a jacuzzi and pool on-board.
âWeâre also foodies,â Hilfiger said, describing the chef on-board as âamazing, on another levelâ.
The Hilfigersâ master cabin includes a kingsized bed, study, two bathrooms with heated stone floors, and a walk-in wardrobe.
Yilmazer also interviewed Bea, Flag âs second stewardess, about the crewâs cabins.
She explained each member of the crew shares with another person.
âSo our shifts work, when we have guests on board, we work 13 hours a day with a two-hour rest,â Bea said.
âThen we always have different times of breaks so weâll have the cabin for ourself.â

Cruising in Style: Onboard Tommy Hilfigerâs charter yacht FLAG

By Paloma Shemirani 20 October 2023
With over 3 millions subscribers on YouTube, Enes Yilmazer is known for his video tours of high-end real estate and luxury lifestyle content. In March 2023, he was invited aboard the renowned fashion designer’s motor yacht to review it during a 3-day charter in the Bahamas , starting in Nassau.
Formerly named Faith, Tommy Hilfiger bought the 204-foot vessel by Feadship back in 2017 and renamed it FLAG after his company’s iconic logo. When Yilmazer asked why he had bought a Feadship, Hilfiger simply replied, ‘they’re the best in the world.’ Being so impressed by the boat’s beautiful interiors and numerous special features, Yilmazer’s review certainly endorses this.
Throughout the video, Yilmazer repeatedly praised FLAG’s classical interiors that were designed by Chahan Minassian: having been refitted in 2022, the interiors are characterized by their elegant light wooden paneling which perfectly complements the cream shade of the plush carpets, leather wraps, and natural stone flooring. As Yilmazer pointed out, the boat may be over twenty years old (being constructed in 2000), but her classic designs are truly timelessâ ensuring a broad appeal for any and all who wish to charter her.
With this colour palette, FLAG has a light, airy feel to it, which is enhanced by the large windows and portholes built in throughout the different decks. It also goes perfectly with the red, white, and blue colour motifs seen throughout most of the roomsâ a tasteful homage to the Hilfiger brand.
While remaining classical in style, modern elements like motorized doors and pop-up TV’s were seamlessly integrated into the interiors
In his first full day on the luxury charter yacht , Yilmazer was quick to take advantage of FLAG’s extensive selection of water toys which included SeaBobs, jetskis, and even an ‘aquabana’ which floated on the Caribbean waters by the inflatable water course. Charter guests can even slide into the water from the upper deck using the inflatable slide. Hilfiger had added to the megayacht’s selection of water toys, which have become his wife’s favourite aspect of the boat.
After a day of fun in the sea, guests can head inside for an exquisite meal cooked by Chef Josh. When interviewed, Hilfiger praised the chef’s freshly-made bread and what he called ‘Nobu night’, which was a delicious selection of sushi and Asian cuisine prepared in the galley’s state-of-the-art facilities. On the sun deck there’s even a pizza oven, meaning that you and your party can experience dishes from across the world in just one charter. After dinner, you can relax in the sun deck’s jacuzzi with one of FLAG's signature cocktails.
I keep it in impeccable condition... The crew is incredibly experienced and professional... my family looks at them as family.
Yilmazer was also impressed by the number of special features on FLAG; this included an elevator which could go between all the floorsâ a must-have on such a large vessel. When touring round the master suite, the vlogger also remarked on the LED light embedded in the clothing rails to illuminate all your clothesâ a feature he had not seen before on either another yacht or even in real estate. Finally, in each of the 7 suites there were independent thermostats which allow guests a truly comfortable and bespoke experience as they can alter the room’s temperature to their unique tastes.
If Yilmazer’s glowing review has tempted you, then FLAG is available for charter in the Bahamas in the winter starting at $476 000. The yacht is also on sale for $46 million. Be sure to speak to your preferred charter broker to book FLAG for your next charter vacation.

Tommy Hilfiger invited a YouTuber and his team to spend 4 days onboard his $46 million superyacht. The influencer cruised Bahamas and enjoyed the high life on the 204 feet long vessel which has a rooftop jacuzzi, lavish cabins, and even a pizza oven
One man’s loss is another man’s gain. In the case of Tommy Hilfiger’s superyacht Flag, the loss was his friends. Billionaire Lawrence Stroll’s Faith yacht became the 204-footer by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Los Angeles-based YouTuber Enes Yilmazer and his team spent four days aboard the ‘chic ship,’ witnessing the most splendid way of putting $46 million to good use. Hilfiger’s megayacht, named after the Tommy Hilfiger logo, comes complete with seven stylish cabins, a rooftop jacuzzi, a pizza oven, an elevator, and more.
While the fashion tycoon has impeccably maintained his superyacht, it is akin to running a business, and an expensive one at that. The fashion icon dubbed the luxury vessel his most prized possession and listed the gorgeous luxury yacht for sale, with an asking price of $46 million.
The vessel chartered for a tremendous $448,000 weekly rate and may soon find a new owner and a new avatar, though it would be a mistake of gigantic proportions to alter even an inch of the Flag yacht. Enjoy some stand-out elements of the $46 million designer luxury vessel, a floating, fashionable work of art.
Flag has been listed for sale since 2021. Buying the luxury vessel for $46 million seems like a minuscule task compared to the mammoth task of maintaining this lavish ship overflowing with ultra-luxurious additions, such as Hermes sheepskin chairs, mahogany trims, and the best of Tommy Hilfiger’s world.
