We have three children ages 23, 17, and 7, who often help in the family business. We also have a one-year-old grandbaby!

I had the BBQ burger and ate every bite, my husband got the Italian stallion in a triple and somehow he also finished every bite. This place is a gem hidden in the small community of suck creek. Mozzarella sticks are amazing, made in-house, and they're huge! I'm a huge fan of the bison burger, and my buddy kept talking about how good the fish tacos are. This place is a little over an hour from me but I'll be making the trip monthly just to go there

10-day-old turkey, food debris: Chattanooga area restaurant inspection reports for the week ending Sept. 10, 2024

The Hamilton County, Catoosa County and Walker County health departments inspect food service establishments twice a year, grading them on a 100-point scale. Establishments are reinspected if they fail to meet critical standards. The scores are original and do not reflect on-the-spot changes, which sometimes lead to upward adjustments.

Reasons include: There was no active managerial control over foodborne illness risk factors and general cleanliness and sanitation provided; manager-on-duty was unaware of reportable symptoms and illnesses with regard to employee illness policy; the hand-washing sink by the dishwashing area was not easily accessible for immediate hand-washing; there was no adequate cleaning and sanitizing frequency of food and non-food contact surfaces provided; there was a build-up of food debris noted on kitchen equipment throughout the cook-line and make-line areas; shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes were holding at improper temperatures in the make-line ice bath; the thermometer in the cook-line refrigerator was not accurate; there were uncovered/unprotected food items in the walk-in freezer; clean dishes were stacked wet and stored on dirty surfaces in the dishwashing area; there was excessive grease/oil spillage in and around the refuse area and dumpsters; litter and refuse was noted on the ground in the parking lot and around the refuse area; and the lighting in the front storage and bulk ice areas was not adequate.

Reasons include: The high temperature dish machine was not reaching proper temperatures; various food items in low-boys were not labeled or date-marked; sliced deli turkey was dated 10 days ago; diced ham, onion and green pepper in the walk-in were not date-marked; a spray bottle containing Windex was unlabeled and stored on a shelf next to and above food packets; the ice scoop by the ice machine was resting against a wall with dark staining; the ice scoop also had heavy wear, resulting in a sharp, brittle edge; an ice scoop with heavy dried food debris was stored directly on the rack of a cooler; bread drawers on the line were missing handles; the outside coating of skillets and pans was black and flaking off; there was heavy grease build-up on all surfaces of fryers; the wall by the ice machine had a dark build-up and was in poor repair, with the outer wall surface coming off and exposing the wooden frame; and the door between the kitchen and back room was in poor repair and was missing a window.

Reasons include: A server was eating fries at the expo station next to customer food; pico de gallo was holding at improper temperature and had no time mark; pasta was cooling in a large, covered container rather than a smaller, uncovered container to allow for steam; dishes were stacked wet; and the floors and ceiling were in poor repair.
