One of the standout yachts in Golden Yachts' fleet of highly-successful charter yachts, O’PARI has harnessed a wealth of knowledge and wisdom to bring forward a truly guest-optimized superyacht.

From the same shipyard, Owner, design and build teams behind all of the previous charter yachts in the fleet, including the yard’s award-winning charter favourite and former flagship O’PTASIA , O'PARI was a massive hit from the minute she left the shed.

The result is something that’s rarely seen in the 90m+ sector: a motor yacht that’s been deftly crafted down to the very last detail with the charter market in mind from the outset.

Luxury yacht O’PARI was delivered from Greek shipyard Golden Yachts in 2020, and quickly made waves when she was spotted cruising between the pretty ports and sleepy fishing villages close to her homeport of Piraeus, Athens .

She is now one of the largest and yachts available to charter in Greek waters, and once again, experience will pay off here. Her crew know these cruising grounds like the back of their hand, allowing guests to visit hidden coves, secret beaches and postcard-perfect bays scattered across the region.

Wherever she cruises, she’s sure to catch attention. Exterior design has been penned by long-time Golden Yachts collaborators Studio Vafiadis, and the father-and-son design duo has crafted a balanced, linear profile that means she’ll maintain a fresh, timeless look in years to come.

But aside from good looks, her exteriors also have an incredible level of functionality that makes O’PARI the dream yacht for charter guests always in search of their next alfresco apero or dawn coffee spot.

Each deck on board O’PARI gently cascades onto the next, creating ample areas for soaking up the sun and the scenery.

The bridge deck plays host to a sleek pool on the aft, with sunpads bordering all sides which add a level of privacy when the yacht is in port.

The curved sides of the pool are a nice design feature that work well with the curved edges of the deck, and the generous spreads of sunpads add a social element- here, guests can lie back and stretch out after a quick dip in the water. 

A helipad is perched on the bow of the yacht, while a side-loading tender garage on the lower deck amidships ensures the yacht can continue the fine Golden Yachts tradition of huge beach clubs without compromising on storage space.

The swim platform can be scattered with loose furniture, with optional shading from parasols which are cleverly integrated into the deck. Wide steps extend from the swim platform down below the waterline, providing easy access straight in and out of the cool water. 

Direct-access steps like these have become an invariably popular feature on board charter yachts , particularly among those chartering with children. O’PTASIA had the same set-up, and it proved to be a winner that Golden Yachts has carried onto their newest creation.

Back on the swim platform, a transom door swings open to reveal the beach club lounge. Adjoining the yacht’s spa facilities, this space has a Zen-like vibe that’s achieved through gemstone panelling, pops of turquoise and olive trees flanking a glass partition between the swim platform and the lounge. 

Elsewhere across her decks, O’PARI enjoys plenty of opportunities for dining and unwinding alfresco. 

Start the day on the main deck, where wraparound sofa seating and elegant coffee tables offer a secluded breakfast set-up that’s best enjoyed with some fresh fruit and a good book.

As the day winds down, the upper deck beckons. This area is perfectly set up for post-dinner drinks followed by the evening meal.  A circular seating area and marble table on the aft lends itself well to cocktails and conversation, while the dining arrangement immediately forward is shaded without compromising on views. 

If any sort of movement after your meal feels too strenuous, then the seating area is also a great spot for sundowners, with enough cushions and sofa furnishings to comfortably sink into.

Crowning the yacht is the sundeck.  There’s a block of sunpads on the very aft, adjoined by another, more intimate seating set-up with those nifty integrated parasols making another appearance. This space is ideal for topping up your tan; but it has another function as an alfresco cinema suite. 

A large freestanding screen can be assembled opposite the sofas, allowing guests to enjoy movie nights at sea below a star-studded sky with a backdrop of the sea. Whether you make this a romantic occasion for two or a memorable evening with the whole family is up to you, but the space is versatile enough to cater to both.

On the very forward part of the sundeck is the jacuzzi. It occupies an elevated position, with yet more sunpads surrounding it plus the benefit of glass bulwarks that maximise the views while minimising the effects of the wind.

Amidships is another dining area. It’s a good alternative to the one on the upper deck, particularly for laid-back breakfasts or lazy lunches that turn into all-afternoon affairs. But if you’d rather dine more formally, the table can be used for card games or midday coffee pick-me-ups. 

Interior styling

Understated elegance is the name of the game on board O’PARI, and that theme extends across both her interior and exterior design. Studio Vafiadis is responsible for her interior styling as well, engineering a sense of harmony between the interior and exterior. 

Guests are welcome on board O’PARI via the main salon. A convivial lounge area with squashy sofas greets you on the aft, while formal dining for up to 14 is located just forward. Above the dining area, the design of a sculptured light fixture made up of little glass spheres is mimicked in the shape of a central coffee table in the lounge.  

Wide windows are enough to illuminate the space in the day, but integrated light panels in the overhead and Art Deco lamps around the seating add a bit of help at night. An integrated TV screen allows this space to be used for movie nights- if the alfresco set-up isn’t floating your boat.

On the deck above you’ll find a skylounge with sumptuous sofas, a TV screen in the bulkhead and little tables on the port and starboard sides where guests can sit back and soak up the views as they drift past. It’s immediately adjoined by the spacious exterior deck. 

The heightened presence of dark tones in the main salon suggest it’s been designed to be used for evening entertainment. The skylounge, with its lighter, brighter, more open-plan layout speaks more to daytime enjoyment.

Accommodation

O’PARI offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 14 cabins with a crew of 29 on hand to cater to guests’ every need. 

The principal charterer benefits from a lofty Owner’s suite that’s encased by glass windows and looks out over the helipad on the bow. You can’t imagine a better setting to wake up to- and retreat to after a hot day on the water.

The suite is well-considered, with a large en suite to starboard with a tub, his and hers sinks and separate shower stalls. Amber marble detail features on the floor, and those wide, geometric windows make another appearance here. 

The port side of the suite offers a large walk-in with plenty of hanging space, alongside a chic vanity with a mirror. There’s also access to a lounge and private office area. 

There are two VIPs on board- one is located on the same floor as the Owner’s suite, while the second sits on the main deck. They both have a similar layout to the Owner’s cabin with a full-beam design, en suite with vanity and little study space for taking care of business at sea.

The remaining cabins are all equally luxurious, with en suites and audiovisual equipment on hand in each. Pullman berths in several of the cabins add a level of convenience, while a single cabin can be used for supernumeraries including nannies and bodyguards, or as a medical cabin if necessary. 

Additional amenities

O'PARI has plenty of facilities to relax and entertain her guests at sea. A Finnish sauna promises an invigorating experience, while a Turkish Hamman is on hand for something more soothing.

Guests can also maintain their exercise routines while chartering, thanks to a well-equipped gym with panoramic views.

The particularly spectacular staircase from Lower deck to the bridge deck with the 3D custom made piece of art of full metal effect emphasizes the light to the main central entrance. The owner’s suite is located on the upper deck with totally different decorative schemes. The suite gives a sense of panoramic sea view, with the king-size bed, a walking closet and a luxury jacuzzi.

Further a full width to ship VIP suite is set on the main deck with a king-size bed and his and hers dressing room and marble bath with mosaic details. Main deck salon with decorative walls composed of a background panel in mother of pearl resin with handmade decoration in bronzed liquid metal finishing and the breathtaking chandelier represent without question the luxurious bespoke experience.

The sun deck provides a unique area for gathering and relaxing moments with open bar cozy dedicated cinema projector. On bridge deck there is a generously sized jacuzzi-swimming pool with handcrafted mosaic pool bed.

A central garage on the lower deck allows for an expansive beach club aft, with direct access to the extraordinary swim platform which is more than four meters long. A truly unique masterpiece with impressive features throughout her 5 decks connected with a lift. O’PARI is equipped with resort-style onboard amenities and high-tech specifications, providing to guests onboard an exclusive and unpararelled experience. Her exterior design features soft hull lines that give her a distinctive stretched silhouette. Her impressive interior volumes with high decks, peculiar layout, top-quality finishings and details are studied in order to satisfy the most demanding clients. On deck, there are several spaces dedicated to entertainment and relax, including the impressive sundeck that features a jacuzzi with wide sunpads, bar and dining table, DJ booth and dance floor and vast lounge area. The bridge deck features the second pool/jacuzzi, handcrafted mosaic, surrounded by sunpads. Inside, there is a fully-equipped gym with a wide selection of machines and weights. The aft upper deck is the ideal place for alfresco setup, casual dining and entertaining, enjoying the views from the lounge and banquette seating. On the foredeck is located the touch-and-go helipad. There is yet another social space on the Main deck which would be perfect for aperitifs ahead of moving into the main saloon for dining. On the lower deck is the extensive ‘beach house’ for making the most of your time close to the waterline, with extended swim platform (4m long), sun lounges, umbrellas and garage, housing all O’PARI’S watertoys and tenders. O’PARI’s interior is no doubt a 5* environment, with quality custom furnishing, exotic marble and various timbers, plus high-tech LED lighting and floor to ceiling windows for panoramic views. Adjacent to the Beach House, on the lower deck, is the dedicated massage room, with warm Turkish hammam and dry Finnish sauna, allowing guests to relax after days enjoying the sunshine and island hopping. Beach House includes as well a bar with decorative vetrite in the background. The upper saloon and main saloon are tranquil lounges for relaxing, socialising and enjoying the state of the art AV entertainment system, including audio distribution system with independent Airplay, Bluetooth, Internet radio, Spotify, tune in radio, Pandora, Sirus Xm, Deezer, Napster in each area of the yacht; wired and wireless CRESTRON touch screens for music and TV control, or guests can connect their own iPhone/iPad/Android device. O’PARI has 21 TVs installed throughout the yacht, each with independent movie players, satellite receiver, media player, Apple TV, blue ray players, local TV channels and local inputs for gaming consoles and video cameras. There is a fantastic outdoor cinema on the sun deck and the movie server is equipped with 450+ movies. Guests have individual control of all lights, climate, blinds and shades from analog classic switches, mounted touch panels or wireless touch screens with Smart Graphics user interface for easier control. The main saloon is adjacent to a formal dining room for up to 14 guests, complete with custom-crafted glass table and contemporary chandelier. O’PARI features a total of 14 luxurious staterooms: On the upper deck are the owner’s suite, VIP suite and 2 Double staterooms. On the main deck is one VIP suite, one salon/double cabin, 3 double staterooms, 3 twin staterooms with a Pullman berth in each, then on the lower deck are the twin/staff cabin with a Pullman berth, and one single cabin. All guest cabins have private ensuites and the impeccable styling with original artworks and custom-designed furnishings. The most recent yacht to join the Atalanta fleet, O’Pari is sure to be the star of the charter market. Able to effortlessly receive up to 12 guests, and with a stellar crew of 30 trained to cater to their clients’ every need, the possibilities are endless.

A ‘green yacht’ equipped with the latest DPJ systems to combat and reduce pollutants, O’Pari is ready to cruise in complete serenity. With an average speed of 16 knots and stabilisers for use at anchor and underway, she is ready for adventure and is sure to keep guests coming back for more.

The Captain

The Greek Captain Alexandros Skaris has been in the charter business for almost 20 years, with many of his guests being repeat visitors to his yachts. Speaking of his role as captain, it is clear that he has a true passion for delivering the ultimate ocean experience. “The challenge in my role is to offer memories that extend beyond the yacht and the destination,” he says. “To build a connection with the guests and be part of their memories."

The Experience

O’Pari is a yacht that offers a little something for everyone. Her ample space and superb contemporary decoration give an immediate feeling of calm and luxury. Exotic marble walls contrast with sleek wooden floors, allowing guests to breathe a sigh of relief when they step on board.

The upper deck plays host to an impressive owner’s suite complete with its own salon. In total, O’Pari offers 14 guest cabins, including a master, one VIP, six  doubles, four twins with pullman and one single/hospital cabin, all with ensuite bathrooms.

A full gym and spa including a massage room, a Turkish hammam and a Finnish sauna are sure to delight those seeking ultimate relaxation. For others in the mood for more of a party, the open plan sun deck offers a full bar, a DJ booth and plenty of space to dance the night away while taking in the panoramic views. A touch and go helipad on the upper deck adds the final touch of prestige to this incredible vessel.

Venture down to the lower deck and you’ll find that O’Pari has even more to offer. Several tenders are ready and waiting, whether you are looking for a smooth ride into port or a beach landing for a barbecue.

SeaBobs, Seadoos and inflatable jungle gyms and infinity pools are just a few of the treats O’Pari has in store.

The Cuisine

The talented Chef Takis Papayiannis brings the best of Mediterranean cooking to every dish he creates. Born and raised in Greece, he trained in his home country before honing his skills at some of the best 5 star restaurants across Europe. Working alongside Assistant Chef Steliyan Dimitrov, the dining experience on board O’Pari is therefore nothing short of perfect.

A key feature of Chef Papayiannis’ menus is fresh seafood. Popular dishes might include freshly caught lobster baked with hollandaise sauce served with sweet potatoes and green apple, or healthy salads packed with flavour, such as scallop, tuna, tomato and fresh herbs finished with a zingy lime dressing. Whatever the mood, Chef Papagiannis always rises to the occasion whether he’s catering laid-back brunches with classic favourites or formal dining and celebratory feasts.

For a sophisticated evening the main deck is the ideal setting for up to 16 guests, while the upper aft deck is the perfect spot for al fresco meals. Elevating the entire experience, Chef Papayiannis and O’Pari ’s interior crew are also renowned for their immaculate table settings to complement the theme of each menu.

Styled by Studio Vafiadis, O’PARI’s beautiful interior is both inspiring and spacious. Featuring a contemporary and elegant design, luxury goes hand-in-hand with style and comfort throughout all the guest areas. She is finished to the highest standard, utilizing a natural color palette filled with shades of earthy tones. Daylight floods through the floor to ceiling windows, bringing the outside in and increasing the sense of space throughout her guest areas. Her main salon is the heart of the yacht. A further lounge and dining area are located on the upper deck aft, while forward the helipad can be used for various activities including outdoor gym sessions. The bridge deck, with its large Jacuzzi pool and oversized sun pads, offers ample opportunity for relaxation, as does the sundeck with its raised spa pool and dining area with full wet bar. Wherever guests choose to roam, there are plentiful spaces for socializing and relaxing. 

O’PARI accommodates 12 guests in 12 staterooms spread across her upper and main deck areas. Located on the upper deck, the full-beam master stateroom features a private lounge area and stunningly designed master cabin. Two VIP staterooms, six double cabins and three twin cabins, accommodate the remaining 10 guests. She also has a staff cabin and hospital cabin on the lower deck, along with accommodation for 28 crewmembers. 

Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516C-HD engines, O’PARI has a cruising speed of 16 knots and is capable of maximum speeds of up to 18 knots. She offers a sustainable cruising experience thanks to the use of the latest engineering systems.

Interior Design & Engineering

The 95-metre O’PARI yacht was built by Golden Yachts in 2020 and became their flagship. She cruises at 16 knots and is both comfortable and quiet while underway.

Her impact on the marine world and the atmosphere is reduced, thanks to DPF systems that prevent soot particles and other hazardous substances from polluting the environment.

The interior of the O’PARI motor yacht features an abundance of luxury finishes that include white onyx marbles, Lalique crystals, mosaics, and plenty of precious woods and fabrics.

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated during your O’PARI yacht charter. The master’s deck boasts a generous volume with its own separate office, lounge and walk-in wardrobe. The suite is blessed with an all-round panoramic view from the upper deck.

The equally impressive second suite, located on the main deck, can be configured as a suite or converted into a double cabin. The rest of the party will sleep across a further 9 cabins: six doubles and three twins.

There are plenty of spaces to dine, from the impressive alfresco table on the upper deck aft, the more intimate round table on the sundeck, and the helipad that can be set up to host 20 for dinner.

The open-plan sun deck of the O’PARI motor yacht is the perfect setting to soak up the sunshine or take in the breathtaking scenery with a drink from the fully furnished bar. Here, you can unwind in the Jacuzzi, drape yourself over the comfy seats in the lounge, or kick back with a movie. There’s also a DJ booth that can turn the sundeck into your own alfresco dancefloor.

You can maintain your fitness regime with the fully equipped gym on the bridge deck. It leads directly to a pool so you can cool down after a punishing workout. When you’re ready for some serious relaxation, head to the beach club to make use of the dry Finnish sauna, Turkish hammam and massage room, soak yourself in the spa pool on the sun deck, or sit back with a movie in the cinema.

An experienced crew of 29 will oversee every element of your exceptional O’PARI yacht charter.

They’ll be able to transfer you ashore, with multiple tenders at your disposal, or help you learn how to master the plentiful water toys. O’PARI is equipped with a variety of toys that include seadoos, seabobs, kayaks, SUPs, waterskis, wakeboards, a jetboard, and more.

There are also a number of inflatables to play with, including an ocean pool, a jungle jim, and a slide. And if you want to explore dry land for a change, you can take the electric scooters or bicycles to help you cover more ground.

Charter yacht of the week: O’Pari, Golden Yachts’ 95-metre forerunner of the charter fleet

Each week we place a spotlight on one of the world’s finest yachts for charte r. This week BOAT steps aboard 95-metre O’Pari in Greece, which is up there among the world’s finest (and most expensive) yachts for charter.

Tipping the scale at more than €1,000,000 a week, the 95-metre superyacht O’Pari is among the world’s most expensive yachts to charter and it’s not difficult to see why. With a gross tonnage of 2,743GT, sumptuous materials, pizza ovens and a crew of 29, O’Pari is a charter machine; carefully designed to tick off almost any requirement for the discerning charter guest.

Built in 2020 as Golden Yachts ' flagship, the 95-metre was less about size and more about excellence, as noted by the owner. The design process was one of intricacy, carefully selecting precious woods, clever indirect lighting and bold artwork, but it needed to strike a balance that would be exciting, yet appeal to the wider market. 

The result is just that, with muted tones bringing a feeling of elegance to the interior with wide open spaces and plenty of lounge space. From a long list of onboard highlights, O’Pari has proved her status in the upper echelons of the charter fleet with her huge sundeck, wellness credentials, helipad and endless entertainment on board.

O’Pari was designed inside and out by Studio Vafiadis , who also worked on Golden Yachts’ 39-metre O’Pati and 78-metre Malia (ex O’Rea ) . Stepping on board the vast open-planned main saloon, the space is flooded with natural light – an important parameter for the owner – and with a large central seating area and vast windows. While practical, the windows feel like an architectural feature in themselves, given their size. 

Accommodation on board is for 12, although there will be plenty of choice for guests with a total of 14 cabins on board. Designed with the same neutral tones in a darker, slightly masculine palette with individually selected rare or precious woods and fabrics. Here, guests will find grained wooden panelling in ebony, ash, lime and walnut burr combined with metallic detailing to beds and nightstands. Each of the bathrooms showcases contrasting Greek marble and mosaics.

Life on board O'Pari

Alongside comfort and space, fitness is at the forefront of O’Pari’ s charter credentials with a fully stocked gym on the bridge deck, which leads out to a swimming pool aft. A sea-level beach club also has a massage and beauty room, a warm hammam and a Finnish sauna.

A true entertainer, BOAT steps on board during one of the yacht’s pizza parties, which guests can enjoy on the sundeck. Chef Takis Papayiannis sets up a line of Ooni pizza ovens and makes the pizzas before guests’ eyes, who can choose to construct their own pizzas too with music playing, rosé and cocktails flowing and dancing.

Outside space onboard is vast, with ample spots for sunbathing (and dancing) and several alcoves of lounge space dotted around the yacht to take in the views undisturbed. On the aft deck, there is also a large dining table for the full complement of guests and a sit-up bar. There is also a retractable screen on the sundeck for relaxing movie nights under the stars.

But the fun doesn’t stop when you step off O’Pari as she has a fully stocked toy box to explore too including jet skis, sea bobs and more.
