Bavaria Yachts manufactured their first motorboat in 2001, which as expected, became incredibly successful. Today, about 700 employees of BAVARIA YACHTS work in Giebelstadt and produce over 600 sailing yachts and motorboats. Clipper Marine is the UK’s official importer of Bavaria Motor Yachts and Power Boats, meaning we have access to sell the latest branded boats up and down the country. Clipper Marine are pleased to announce that in September the Bavaria SR33 was voted ‘Motor Boat of the year’ by the readers of the French magazine Moteur Boat. 17 different motorboats were put to the test using a set checklist back in June in Hyères.

Similarly, the Bavaria SR33 was also nominated for the ‘British Motorboat’ Award in the “Sportscruisers up to 45ft” category in Mid-November. The award ceremony is held at Boot Düsseldorf 2024 and is presented in eight different categories. The SR33 will be available for viewing at Boot with Clipper Marine.

All Bavaria Yachts, power & sail, are built in their state of the art facility in Germany, close to the city of Würzurg. The factory is purpose built and utilises the latest technologies including CNC milling machines to ensure a precise build that is very hard wearing and reliable. An example of German engineering prowess!
