Here’s What the Cast of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Is Currently Up to Now
Are Jenna and Adam still together?
From a spontaneous proposal failing spectacularly to a joke about being breastfed as an adult, Sailing Yacht was as much a dramatic success as the other franchises. It also left fans wondering about what's happening to the crew since the show wrapped. Did chief stew Jenna and chef Adam stay together? What's going on with Georgia's music? And most important—is Captain Glenn really as cool as we think he is?
Here's what the cast of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht is up to now:
Jenna MacGillivray
When the Canadian stepped onto the Parsifal III, fans got exactly what they hoped for in a chief stew—a no-nonsense leader who also had a romantic spot in her heart for the chef in the galley. Though her relationship with Adam Glick proved to be tumultuous, the two dated for some time after the season wrapped, even taking some time to road-trip together.
These days, Jenna is enjoying some time off from yachting, but given her recent IG pics, she's excited to come back to another charter season.
Madison Stalker
Wherever Madison went, drama always seemed to follow the second stew during season one of Below Deck: Sailing Yacht . In between epic meltdowns (including a major one between her and Jenna over her lack of enthusiasm for her job), she left the boat a better person and leaving fans ready to see more from their new favorite cast member.
Judging by her Instagram account, she's taken a break from yachting (perhaps until next season of the show).
Georgia Grobler
As good of a third stew Georgia was on deck, fans were more invested in her budding music career and growing feelings for a very taken Paget. She proved she was great at her job and could make a career out of yachting.
While it's unclear whether she stayed in the yachting industry post- Sailing Yacht , Georgia's working on music, premiering new music videos on IGTV during the quarantine.
Below Deck Med fans were so excited when Adam joined the crew as the chef for Sailing Yacht . While he abided by the preference sheets this time around, he also began a rocky romance with chief stew Jenna, making most of the crew members wonder if he was there for his job or the girl.
Since the show wrapped, Adam's busy onshore, cooking, and traveling with his adorable puppy. Oh, and Adam has a web series, Stoked , where he travels across the country to meet with local chefs and learn about their regions... all while over a campfire.
Paget Berry and Ciara Duggan
If there was any couple to root for from the entire Below Deck franchise, it's Paget and Ciara. The duo made a great team on deck, and mostly kept their relationship to a minimum on cameras—a first for Bravo! As they were the most familiar with the Parsifal III, the couple was the most reliable, and fans loved seeing their relationship continue blossoming post-filming.
These days, the couple has a lot to be excited about—they're now engaged. While they're soaking up their romantic bliss, they're also still working in yachting, although it's sadly on separate boats.
Byron Hissey
As the chief engineer of Parsifal III, Byron was clearly there to just do his job. But, given how he was the only cast member to have a wife and child back home, he also became the dad of the group, taking care of the other crew members.
Since filming wrapped, it looks like Byron is back on a boat doing exactly what he does best—fixing and making sure the engines run smoothly.
Parker McCown
Relatively new to the yachting industry, fans are more likely to remember the deckhand for his enraged rant about being breastfed by his mother. While he didn't necessarily have all the skills to make it as a deckhand, he definitely had a soft spot for his ex-girlfriend Kaiti, whom he eventually left Parsifal III to go back to at home.
It looks like the decision to leave the show worked out for Parker, as he's now engaged to Kaiti and writing some tunes while onshore.
Chris Miller
As Parker's replacement for the latter half of the season, Chris proved a great deckhand and an asset to the team, all while battling an injury.
These days, Chris seems to be taking some time off from yachting to travel across Europe.
Captain Glenn Sheppard
Captain Glenn was tough, fair, and not afraid to have a good time, which both crew and guests very much appreciated.
Thankfully, his reality TV experience hasn't turned him off yachting forever. Glenn is still the captain for Parsifal III and traveling through the Mediterranean.

How ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Can Pick Up Some Wind In Its Sails For Season 2
Where to Stream:

Ariana Madix's Brother Jeremy Charged With Attempting To Smuggle 100 Pounds Of Cannabis
'rhonj' fans slam teresa giudice's "cruel" husband louie ruelas for wishing suffering on margaret josephs' family: "this guy is literally the devil", 'real housewives' spinoff starring dorinda medley in the works at bravo, 'southern charm' prematurely parting ways with olivia flowers robs viewers of a reality star who had just come into her own.
The first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht has come to an end, and even though that charter guest didn’t have any drugs on him, maybe this season of the Bravo series could’ve used some. Despite the fact that Sailing Yacht was the latest addition to the proven win that is the boating franchise, including Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean , that didn’t stop this season from needing a bit of wind in its sails.
But let’s focus on the positive first. Sailing Yacht showed viewers a new side to the industry with these sleek sailing boats that move unlike any of the other motor yachts we’ve seen before. The way the wind would catch in those sails and the boat would be thriving, that was truly majestic to watch. There was an element of action and adventure to this series that the others can’t claim.
We also met Captain Glenn who was the perfect captain for this boat. His laid back attitude, willingness to jump up and fix a sail, and adorable admissions during his interviews made him an excellent leader for this show. He’s bringing something different to the table than Captain Lee and Captain Sandy, but he is also capable of showing the same support and sternness when necessary. He was a true delight.
And now, the waters get a little choppy. Viewers were excited to see Chef Adam return for the series after his two-season stint on Below Deck Mediterranean , but this didn’t feel like the Adam we know and love. He’s always been a self-proclaimed grump who just wants to be left alone while he makes his masterpiece meals —and the food did look incredible. But his romance with chief stew Jenna was not nearly the fairytale we hoped for. It was kind of the opposite, even. Their frustrations with each other were our frustrations watching their relationship hit several speed bumps. And the more they seemed to fall for each other, the meaner they became to their coworkers, especially Jenna, in order to have something to laugh about together. Considering how much time they spent together hugging and kissing and flirting in the kitchen, the only thing they were really cooking up was a bad taste in everyone’s mouths.
View this post on Instagram Feeling the Sunday scaries creep in. A post shared by Decider.com (@deciderdotcom) on May 17, 2020 at 3:08pm PDT
The only breakout from the interior was second stew Madison. Sure, she got herself worked up under the pressure of the job at times, but she still seemed to get the work done and had funny things to say in her interviews. She let viewers in on a big part of her life, she forgot to wear a bra to a beach picnic, and had the best facial reactions of anyone. Ultimately, she had the right mix of getting the job done and still being interesting for reality TV, which no one else on the boat really captured. If there’s another season of this show, bring her back as chief stew — it’s likely that would prevent the season from ever getting boring.
Then there’s Georgia. I’d love to know the details of the deal she clearly made with producers. Was it that they promised her 10 seconds of singing time in each episode in exchange for her pushing the forced “feelings for Paget” storyline? That never made any sense for a lot of reasons. If the two were close pals, that’s great. But he was clearly committed to Ciara, and despite their typical couple bickering, the two seem to be a strong match.
Deckhand Chris was nice and the kind of person you need to balance out a group of crazies, but everyone here was unfortunately normal(ish). Oh, but remember Parker? Wow does that feel ages ago. Perhaps it was because his time coincided with Jenna and Adam’s rocky road to love, but he never felt like an overly frustrating character in this mix. His behavior wasn’t that shocking, nor was his departure. Same goes for Byron, the first time an engineer has been a main cast member. We didn’t really learn more about what his job entails, we heard some witty one-liners from him, and he seemed cool enough. But that’s it.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 was just fine — even though that’s not a great thing in the world of reality TV. We watched it because the majority of this season aired while we were all stuck inside and it wasn’t as infuriating as the male privilege displayed at the end of the last season of Below Deck . It’s great that this franchise can air all year long, with Below Deck Med picking up in the same timeslot starting next week. But it’s got to find the humor of Below Deck Med or the competence of Below Deck and, ahem, sail with it. Jenna wasn’t a Kate or a Hannah, which would’ve been okay if those weren’t two very beloved skorts to fill. The romance wasn’t charming, the drama wasn’t salacious, the guests all seemed to be fine for the most part. That sounds nice and all, but nobody wants a boring vacation.
Hopefully there is a Season 2 because there’s a lot of potential here. If they can get the boat back up and running, and really, the cameras, it would be wise to lean likable in the casting for this show. We turn to Below Deck for an escape. The high-pressure of fulfilling guest needs while holding on as the boat tips to the side, and in extremely tight quarters, will produce enough drama. When we want fights, we watch Housewives , but Below Deck shouldn’t be frustrating, let alone infuriating. It should be fun. It’s just too bad no one seemed to have any this season.

Below Deck Season 1: Where Are The Cast Members Now?
Sailing through the oceanic blues, Bravo’s ‘Below Deck’ chronicles the lives of crew members aboard a mega yacht as they reside and work on the vessel during the charter season. The reality television show was launched in 2013 and has juxtaposed the thrill of sailing with the drama of its crew. As the Chief Stew, Captain, Deckhands, and Chef try to navigate the interpersonal conflicts of their workplace, several chaotic themes follow. Years since the debut season came on air, fans have been curious to find out the whereabouts of the original cast members. So, if you also want to know the whereabouts of the reality stars, look no further because we’ve got all the answers right here!
Lee Rosbach is Navigating Life Beyond Reality TV
At 73, Captain Lee Rosbach has led his crew on sails for more than three decades. The television personality was once a Wendy’s manager. His first encounter with the ocean came in his mid-30s when he and his wife, Mary Anne, moved to Turks & Caicos to run a restaurant. At 35, Lee obtained his Captain’s license and has since never looked back. Commonly referred to as the “Stud of the Sea,” he has been in the business for more than four decades. However, after leading his crew for ten seasons, Captain Lee bid his final farewell to the Bravo reality show.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Captain Lee Rosbach (@captain_lee_rosbach)
During season 10 of ‘Below Deck,’ fans witnessed Lee’s worsening health conditions, leading to him temporarily sitting out. The reality TV star has been facing mobility issues that have led to high pain levels. Ultimately, the network didn’t invite the boat captain back for season 11. Many have speculated that Lee’s exit from the show came after he conflicted with Captain Sandy Yawn in season 10. Yet, these rumors stand unconfirmed. Nevertheless, Lee Rosbach has now teamed up with Kate Chastain, hosting Bravo’s new series, ‘Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate.’
The revered Captain and former chief stew break down the biggest Bravo TV moments of the week on their new show. On the personal front, Lee continues to enjoy life with his family and loved ones. After losing his son , Joshua, at 42, to an opioid addiction in 2019, he has become extensively vocal about rehabilitation for people struggling with addiction. Despite sustaining such an incredible loss, the family continues to honor Joshua’s memory through donations and giving testimony in front of Congress.
Aleks Taldykin is Leading in Yacht Management
Originally picked up by the production house to enact the role of Captain on the yacht, Aleks was ultimately replaced by Captain Lee Rosbach after the yacht owner expressed his discomfort with him taking over the reins. Eventually, he became the Captain’s next-in-command but didn’t return to the series after season 1.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Aleks Taldykin (@captaleks)
Since his exit from the show, Aleks has maintained his love for the ocean and is currently the CEO of Elite Yacht Management, a company servicing yachts from the Pacific to the Atlantic. He is also a Yacht Broker specializing in selling large motor yachts in California. In 2016, Aleks had also appeared on ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ At 33, the television personality enjoys life with his wife and family.
Ben Robinson is Engaging in Culinary Ventures and Content Creation
With several credentials, including an apprenticeship at Chef Heston Blumenthal’s restaurant, The Fat Duck, Ben brought his intersectional knowledge of restaurant and catering to ‘ Below Deck .’ However, the reality TV star ultimately left the show after season 2. Ben later appeared on ‘Below Deck: Mediterranean’ and ‘Below Deck: Galley Talk.’ Surprisingly, the certified health coach was briefly speculated to be the father of Chief Stew Kate Chastain’s baby. However, both have time and again denounced trolls for such rumors.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chef Ben Robinson (@benstogram)
On the personal front, the 42-year-old is engaged to Kiara Cabral. After nearly four years of dating, the television personality went down on his knee at the Vatican to profess his love. When Ben isn’t enjoying his time with friends and family, he’s engaged in several other commitments. Furthermore, he is a TikTok and Cameo creator who sells his personal merchandise brand and offers several services through online channels.
Adrienne Gang is Expanding Her Culinary Expertise
Despite her short-lived stint on ‘Below Deck,’ Adrienne quickly became a fan-favorite for dealing with a difficult crew. The 39-year-old Chief Stew has found herself busy with other endeavors. Apart from freelancing as a stew on different boats, she has also returned to her job as a Chef. Before taking up the role in reality television, Adrienne had been a professional chef for eight years.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrienne Gang (@adriennegang)
The television personality is now working at the Culinary Vegetable Institute and Chef’s Garden, honing her skills and expanding her work portfolio. On the family front, Adrienne is married to Chiropractor Dr. Andrew Banks. The couple tied the knot in 2018 in a beachfront ceremony and have enjoyed marital bliss ever since. Sadly, they faced a substantial loss in 2021 after they miscarried their baby. Nevertheless, Adrienne and Andrew remain unfazed by these struggles and enjoy their life with their dog, Buddy. In addition, she hosts the ‘Gangplant Report’ podcast.
C.J. LeBeau is Actively Working in Marketing
Disembarking from the yacht just before the crew could take its final charter, C.J. Beau quickly became disinterested in the activities onboard and eventually left the boat behind. Since then, he has not reappeared in the series and has maintained a profile outside the media. Shortly after the season ended, C.J. was taken into police custody in Phoenix, Arizona, for allegedly getting in a physical altercation with his then-fiance.
The television personality was reportedly charged with intentional assault and defacing property. It was also reported that C.J. allegedly broke his fiance’s cell phone during the fight. Later, he became the Sales Director for Direct Source Distributing, a marketing company based in San Diego. On the personal front, C.J. has maintained privacy and doesn’t disclose his private information.
Kat Held is Pursuing Nursing and Bartending
Despite repeatedly knocking heads with the Chief Stew, Kat quickly became a fan-favorite for her famous phrases. However, she ended up leaving the show after season 2. Since then, Kat has been pursuing different opportunities. The 39-year-old worked as a waitress before eventually returning to nursing school in 2017. Kat also worked as a Bartender in Las Vegas and currently likes to keep her personal and professional details under wraps. Moreover, the television personality attended ‘Watch What Happens Live’ with her ‘Below Deck’ costars in 2020.

Samantha Orme is Building a New Life and Career
While Samantha’s time was full of ups and downs on the yacht, the television personality decided she wanted more in life and not just work at a mega yacht. Shortly after exiting the show, she met Bradley Ulmer, a Coast Guard Helicopter Pilot, and the two hit it off. The couple decided to tie the knot a few months into dating.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Samantha Ulmer (@samiorme)
Subsequently, the duo welcomed their daughters, Blake and Molly. On the professional front, 36-year-old Samantha has accrued equal success. The television personality was the Vice President of a Solar Energy Firm before she returned to study Industrial Engineering. She is currently working as the Enterprise Program Manager for Fidelity National Information Services.
Eddie Lucas is Commanding the Harbor
After appearing as the Deckhand in season 1, Eddie ultimately became a Bosun and the First Officer on the Bravo series. Yet, after eight seasons, he decided to leave the franchise entirely. Eddie is now the Captain of a harbor tug boat in the Baltimore Harbor. The homeowner had revealed in an interview with The New York Post that he gets paid the lowest amount compared to other shows on Bravo.
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Eddie Lucas (@eddielucas)
It is also speculated that Eddie’s arguments with Rayna Lindsey over alleged homophobic comments could have been the reason for his departure from the show. Nevertheless, these speculations have not been entertained by the television personality. Instead, the 38-year-old has left behind the reality television life and now focuses on chartering to the Caribbean and experiencing the best of the ocean life with his dog named Bert, as well as friends and loved ones.
David Bradberry is Pursuing Acting Opportunities
Sailing through the season without any conflict, David’s endearing demeanor won countless viewers during the show. Regardless, the reality TV star ultimately left the series following his appearance in season 1. Since then, David has explored a path in entertainment and starred in works like, ‘Confessions,’ ‘The Last Straight Man,’ ‘Fiendish Things,’ and ‘The Men Next Door.’ On the personal front, the 37-year-old is no longer with his boyfriend featured in ‘Below Deck.’ The television personality has since kept his dating life under wraps and loves to maintain a private profile.

About below deck sailing yacht.
Capt. Glenn and his comeback team Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin MacRae resume their responsibilities aboard Parsifal III, along with new, dynamic crew members, as they set sail in Sardinia, Italy.
Capt. Glenn realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay. In the galley, Chef Ilesha's cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny, as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase.
Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on-board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy.
With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Ranking Every ‘Below Deck’ Show From Most to Least Memorable: Mediterranean, Adventure and More
Bravo’s Below Deck series has inspired several spinoffs — but not every one has left an impression.
Below Deck , which debuted on Bravo in 2013, introduced viewers to various crew members who reside and work on a superyacht during charter season. The original series quickly became a major success for the network, spawning spinoffs that include Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Below Deck Down Under and Below Deck Adventure .
The show has since become an example of Bravo’s rare all-year long programming with a Below Deck series airing new episodes at any given moment. While most of the cast has changed from season to season, viewers have gotten invested in some of the mainstays , which are usually the captains and the chief stews or bosuns.
However, not every show has stuck with fans the exact same way. Certain iterations didn’t last longer than a season while others have become more memorable than the OG Below Deck show.
Related: A Guide to 'Below Deck' and Its Many Spinoffs
Keep scrolling to see Us ‘ ranking of the Below Deck shows — in order from most to least memorable.
1) ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’
When some of Us weren’t looking, Below Deck Mediterranean surprisingly became the backbone of the franchise that earned it first place on this list . A large part of that is Captain Sandy Yawn , who for better or for worse has gotten viewers reinvigorated about Below Deck . It takes a special kind of captain to not always make decisions everyone likes but that keeps fans coming back for more.
Sandy’s priority is being a good captain but somewhere along the way she became Below Deck gold. Everything else is just icing on the cake when Sandy is at the center of every season in the Mediterranean.
2) ‘Below Deck’
The original show paved the way for every other iteration to find its place on Bravo. Without Below Deck — and Captain Lee Rosbach — fans wouldn’t know just how compelling drama on the high seas can actually be.
One reason why Below Deck isn’t at the very top is tied to the show’s decision to fix what wasn’t broken. Captain Lee was the face of the franchise — so it wasn’t easy to say goodbye when he was replaced following a decade on Below Deck . The switch came several seasons after chief stew Kate Chastain left and it was too much change at once for some of Us .

3) ‘below deck sailing yacht’.
Speaking of shows overshadowed by controversy, Below Deck Sailing Yacht had it all when it originally premiered on Bravo in 2020 . Paternity scandals, love triangles and Below Deck alums that overstayed their welcome by making the audience turn on them again.
Captain Glenn Shephard confidently steered Below Deck Sailing Yacht into a successful future but other factors ultimately got in the way.
First of all, Daisy Kelliher ‘s messy feelings for Colin Macrae and Gary King sounded like good reality TV on paper but it wasn’t as interesting on screen. The trio actually made it harder to come back around each week because it was exhausting to see them hash out their confusing issues.
Season 4 wrapped up with the promise of more episodes before Gary made headlines for his sexual misconduct scandal. He has maintained his innocence and no official statement has been given on the future of the show but Below Deck Sailing Yacht has yet to release any news about another season since the drama.
4) ‘Below Deck Down Under’
The spinoff set in Australia should have been a slam dunk with Bravo’s favorite hottie Captain Jason Chambers and fan-favorite chief stew Aesha Scott by his side. However, Below Deck Down Under initially struggled because it was premiering on Peacock instead of Bravo meaning viewers didn’t know to look for a new show.
Season 2 was what put Below Deck Down Under on the map but not for the reason anyone was hoping. A shocking consent scandal halfway through the season resulted in Luke Jones and Laura Bileskaline getting fired from the boat , which Below Deck Down Under was applauded for as new episodes continued to cover the aftermath.

Despite the fact that Jason and Aesha received praise for how they handled the situation , there has been no news about the show’s future. It is possible that the drama overshadowed the show itself — and not in a good way.

5) ‘below deck adventure’.
The fourth spinoff was meant to be the most action-packed as guests signed up for thrill-seeking activities along the Norwegian Fjords. After premiering in November 2022, Below Deck Adventure failed to find an audience week to week and subsequently faded out of everyone’s mind.
Bravo never announced the show’s cancellation but it’s probably safe to assume that not many fans were asking for a status update. Instead, Captain Kerry Titheradge was moved to Below Deck and everyone forgot the first failed Below Deck spinoff series.

‘Below Deck’ Sailing Yacht Shares Chilling Link To Sunken Morgan Stanley Billionaire’s Boat ‘Bayesian’
The plot thickens...
Much has been made of the tragic events that unfolded earlier this week off the Sicilian coast, with the Morgan Stanley international chairman initially missing before being found dead alongside tech founder Mike Lynch. Adding more intrigue to the tale, a strange link between the sunk Bayesian yacht and hit show Below Deck has been uncovered…
The Italian shipyard Perini Navi, which built the PARSIFAL III — the yacht featured in the popular reality show Below Deck that rammed a pier due to an engine malfunction — is also the maker of the Bayesian , which tragically sank on August 19.
PARSIFAL III Misadventure
Below Deck is an American reality TV series that made its debut in 2013 on Bravo TV . The show, to date, is running on season 11, with a new cast of crews on every luxury superyacht during its chartering season. Their challenges while catering to wealthy guests are depicted on the show. The PARSIFAL III , a 177-foot yacht, suffered a big mishap during an episode of the show’s second Sailing Yacht season which first aired on May 17, 2021.
While trying to maneuver in bad weather, the yacht hit a dock because its engine broke down. In an explanation, Yacht’s Captain Glenn Shephard said:
“I was using a different maneuver mode. And there’s a computer in between the throttles and the propeller that adjusts the load on the engine. Maybe my inputs were too much for the computer and it kind of, I don’t know, froze or didn’t react in the right way. I’m not really 100 percent sure. But I was pushing ahead and it was still moving backwards, which is not normal.”
Some of the wreckage was visible floating in the sea after the accident. Luckily, no serious damage was caused in this crash. Launched in 2005, PARSIFAL III can accommodate up to 12 charter guests in a master suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins. The yacht also has a Jacuzzi and two Open Bic sailboats for guests to play with.
Not So Lucky
The Bayesian , also created by Perini Navi, was not as lucky. Sailing in a sudden and strong squall that created too much wind and conditions for the yacht to handle, the vessel sank after its mast broke in half off the coast of Sicily near the fishing village of Porticello in the early hours of Monday.
Of the 22 people on board at the time of the tragedy, 15 were rescued, while six others lost their lives, among them being the chairman of Morgan Stanley International, Jonathan Bloomer, and tech tycoon Mike Lynch.
His daughter Hannah Lynch, 18, is still missing, and rescuers are frantically searching for her. Lynch was a British technology entrepreneur who achieved fame through his software company, Autonomy Corporation, which Hewlett-Packard bought for over $11 billion USD in 2011.

Captain Jason Chambers confirms Below Deck Down Under Season 3 coming ‘soon’ and teases alum returns
Finally, we have an update on Below Deck Down Under Season 3, thanks to Captain Jason Chambers, and it’s good news for fans.
It’s been nearly a year since Season 2 of Below Deck Down Under ended.
However, fans wondered if the show was canceled when Aesha returned to Below Deck Med for Season 9 in the chief stew role.
While the show’s future remained up in the air, Captain Jason urged Below Deck Down Under fans to express their frustration to Bravo.
Whether or not his message to fans helped, Captain Jason finally has something positive to share or tease.
Captain Jason Chambers confirms Below Deck Down Under Season 3
The other day, Captain Jason took to Instagram to promote Gold Dust spa in Bali. While his caption didn’t mention anything about Below Deck Down Under, he had some things to say about the show in the comments section.
“When will we see you back in Below Deck???!” asked one fan, with Captain Jason responding, “@bev_davis3 soon ❤.”
Another fan wanted to know if Captain Jason was ever returning to yachting. The captain’s response gave more insight into the show.
“@dylananddarby You can’t do both unfortunately. As a captain you need to be 100% committed and I’m using this gap in life to be with my daughter and see where the dices land. ❤️,” he explained.
That’s not all Captain Jason had to say about Below Deck Down Under Season 3.
Below Deck Down Under star Captain Jason Chambers reveals alum returns for Season 3
Another clue about Below Deck Down Under Season 3 comes from a joint Instagram post featuring Captain Jason and Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph.
“Saw this legend !!!! @captainjchambers joking around since day one ! 😂 #captain #belowdeck #bravo #wwhlbravo #freind #friendship #love #fun #happy #jokers,” read the caption.

Captain Jason gave Below Deck Down Under fans something in the comments section.
“Below deck down under crew in LA, does this mean our season is getting closer to the screens? Mmm I wonder?” Captain Jason wrote.
Oh yes, the captain just dropped a bomb that Tzarina is back for Season 3 of the Below Deck spin-off, and we are here for them to work together on-screen again.
The question remains when will Season 3 of Below Deck Down Under premiere? As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 is slated to premiere this fall.
Below Deck Down Under Season 3 should follow the sailing show, which would mean an early 2025 premiere.
Then again, if Bravo doubles up on Below Deck Sailing Yacht episodes like it did last season, Below Deck Down Under could premiere sooner.
Check back with Monsters and Critics for more updates on Below Deck Down Under.
Below Deck Down Under is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-2 are streaming on Peacock.
'Below Deck Med' Chef Jono Responds to Captain Sandy's Desire to Fire Him

The Big Picture
- Chef Shillingford was surprised to learn Captain Yawn wanted him fired.
- Yawn considered replacing Shillingford after guest complaints about his food.
- Despite differences, Shillingford respects Captain Yawn post-filming.
Below Deck Mediterranean star Jonathan Shillingford is claiming that he had no idea Captain Sandy Yawn wanted him fired. The whole drama started unfolding majorly during Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 4, which aired on June 24, 2024 , and especially after the current guests aboard Mustique complained about Chef Shillingford’s food . Now, according to Shillingford, not only did the Captain consider firing him from the reality series , but she also had a backup chef ready to replace him.
This came as a huge shock to Shillingford who joined Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 as the new chef. In an interview with US Weekly, Shillingford admitted that it was not nice for him to know that Captain Yawn was trying to get rid of him . In fact, Shillingford revealed that he found out about her opinion of him at the same time as the audience. “I didn’t feel that during the show. I didn’t know that was her position,” added the reality chef.
However, he did go on to say that despite their differences, he still has a lot of respect for Captain Yawn. Now that the filming for the show is over, the chef maintains that working with the Captain and her crew was an honor. Shillingford shared that he grew up in a family of strong women. So, working with a female captain was an honor for him, regardless of whatever transpired.
Captain Yawn Tried To Stick Up for Chef Shillingford in the Beginning
The midseason trailer for Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 showed growing tensions between the Captain and the brand-new chef on her yacht. Then, Season 9, Episode 4 shows Yawn questioning Shillingford’s future on the show after he served tuna carpaccio to a guest who couldn’t eat raw seafood. The incident leads to Yawn telling the cameras that she has no choice but to fire Shillingford after the mistake.
Yawn and Shillingford sit down to have a conversation about the chef’s performance during the same episode. Things seem to end on the right note but the Captain is seen requesting a backup chef right after that. Yawn defends her decision in a confessional in the following words:
“I know we are only at charter two but the food has to be perfect from charter one. In the past, I have given second chances. The one thing I am not going to wait on is finding another chef just in case he doesn’t come through.”
This was a complete shift from how the Captain felt about her chef during the Season 9 premiere when she backed Shillingford up after he couldn’t wake up to make food for the guests late at night . The yacht stew, Elena Dubaich , who attempted to wake Shillingford up in the middle of the night was actually reprimanded by the Captain who told the crew to ”never wake the chef up.”
Below Deck Mediterranean
In a luxury charter yacht traveling across the Mediterranean, crew members face both the challenges of managing upscale guest expectations and the complexities of their own interrelationships. Each episode highlights the high-octane world of yachting where exceptional service standards meet personal drama and adventure.
Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 is currently airing on Bravo every Monday. Episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
I’m convinced below deck mediterranean’s johnathan shillingford is a producer plant, below deck mediterranean season 9 shows captain sandy’s selfish side (she’s inconsiderate).
- Jono's cooking faced criticism for being overcooked and bland, risking his job.
- Jono improved by customizing dishes, refining plating, and communicating better.
- Questions arose about Jono's quick improvement, suggesting he may have faked poor performance.
Below Deck Mediterranean Chef Johnathan “Jono” Shillingford started season 9 with his job on the line. A rookie to the Below Deck franchise, Jono is a self-trained chef from Dominica. He has a background in architecture, but his love for food inspired him to change his career path and become a charter yacht chef. Jono has settled in nicely among the crew, offering support to his peers and avoiding involvement in their drama.
Jono’s cooking raised eyebrows after making a series of mistakes that left the guests dissatisfied. He chose unusual spices, and his food was often overcooked or bland. Jono’s cooking was not up to par with the luxury experience guests deserved. When the guests complained to Captain Sandy Yawn, Jono was at risk of being fired. Fortunately, he stepped up his game to avoid being replaced. Jono’s quick improvement, while impressive, also raised questions about why his cooking was so poor early on in Below Deck Med season 9 .
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Chef Johnathan Has Received Little To No Complaints From The Guests
He took sandy’s criticism seriously.
Jono’s cooking drew criticism several charters in a row. He made choices that seemed lazy, failing to prepare late-night snacks and cooking breakfast so early it was cold by the time it was served. After the guests complained, Sandy lined up a backup chef and threatened to replace Jono if he continued to make sloppy mistakes. Jono realized that his career was in jeopardy , and he seemingly improved overnight.
Jono started the season by overthinking guest preferences. When guests had different dietary preferences, Jono felt his options were limited and chose to serve safe dishes like chicken. After being reprimanded by Sandy, Jono began making multiple entrées customized for individual guests. This required more work, but it kept the guests happy and made them feel respected. Jono’s careful choices resulted in compliments from the guests, and he no longer faced the harsh criticism of earlier episodes.
Chef Johnathan's Food Has Been Looking Better
His elegant plating is now worthy of a luxury yacht.
One of Sandy’s main complaints about Jono was his inelegant plating. In one of his worst moves, Jono ripped apart a bland chocolate sponge cake and called it “ deconstructed .” The following night, he served overcooked lava cakes with melted ice cream. Jono allowed the chaos of the yacht to take away from the sophistication expected by charter guests.
In between meals, he arranged elegant platters of finger foods, offering a variety of choices to appeal to diverse palates.
Since receiving criticism, Jono put more effort into his presentation. He started serving smaller but more refined dishes and pulled out extra stops like adding colorful garnishes and using a culinary torch. Jono also chose his ingredients carefully and selected high-quality options. In between meals, he arranged elegant platters of finger foods, offering a variety of choices to appeal to diverse palates.
Was Chef Johnathan Just Faking His Poor Performance?
His rapid improvement raises questions.
Considering his rapid improvement, Jono's been accused of faking his poor performance . However, Jono’s self-taught background should be considered when judging his work. Jono was seen watching videos and calling friends for guidance. It’s not unreasonable to assume he spent his spare time researching how to improve, specifically addressing Sandy’s concerns. With tutorials and recipes available at his fingertips, Jono easily could have learned as he went along and continued to teach himself new techniques.
Furthermore, editing could have influenced the perception of Jono’s cooking . The guests’ opinions may not have been as unanimous as they seemed. Compliments could have been edited out early in the season to make it look like Jono went from an incompetent chef to flawless in no time.
Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
As Jono found his groove aboard the yacht, he learned from his mistakes. He put the guests’ preferences first and communicated better with the interior staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Jono’s improvement on Below Deck Mediterranean may have been slightly exaggerated, but as a talented chef, a little guidance was all he needed to put his performance on the right track.
