An on-deck master suite with 180-degree panoramic views, Zero Speed stabilizers, VSAT Internet access and a spacious sun deck with a day head are just some of her bespoke assets.

Superyacht CHECKMATE can accommodate between 10 and 12 guests in five stunning staterooms. Her interior is a beautiful blend of cherry and Burr Madrona woods and beautiful, Indian marble. There is ample space on the sundeck for lounging, with the added convenience of a day head. Remove the bridge deck’s skylounge aft doors to create an incomprehensible 270-degree alfresco dining space. VSAT ensures a constant Internet connection.

No luxury yacht charter is complete without donning one of CHECKMATE yacht’s eight sets of snorkels and heading below the waterline to check out the stunning sea life below.

Motor yacht CHECKMATE has 33-foot Ocean Waves tender with twin 300hp Suzuki outboards and an 18-foot Williams jet tender. Her toy chest includes two Sea-Doos, two stand-up paddleboards, two towing tubes, a wake board and fishing gear.

The Benetti Vision 145' yacht CHECKMATE provides both rich and sober interiors, with an amazing selection of cherry and Burr Madrona woods, and neoclassical dark inlays enhanced by marble. Benetti have added further creative design features to this Benetti Vision CHECKMATE to ensure excellent functionality. These include sliding aft doors on the bridge deck lounge which retract to create an incredible 270 degree alfresco dining experience. Toys as stowed in the lazarette so all available space on the sundeck can be utilized. Unlike many yachts of this size, this yacht is fitted with a day head on this upper deck. Built in composite, the 44m luxury yacht CHECKMATE (hull BV018) is fitted with twin 1,300 HP Caterpillar engines, enabling her to achieve a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising range of over 3,500 nautical miles, with a cruising speed of 14 knots. Her maximum beam is of 9.26m and her maximum draft is of 2.72m. Checkmate is ABS Malta Cross A1 Yacht and LY2 classed.

With zero speed stabilizers, an abundance of entertainment and relaxation areas and an attentive crew of 9.

Interior Description

“Patience” sleeps six persons in three private cabins, excluding the main salon, with optional sleeping space in workroom.

She has a stunning interior that really has to be seen to be fully appreciated. (See the 3D Virtual Tour) She was designed and then customized around luxury, quality and functional elegance. The interior is truly gorgeous and maintained in show condition at all times.

Starting forward is VIP Stateroom with centerline queen berth.

Next aft to starboard is the Guest Cabin with a double berth.

The Guest Head is to port and features a separate shower stall and a separate door to the Vip Stateroom and another door that opens into the hallway. 

The huge raised Main Salon features large fixed ports, offering a panoramic view outside. To starboard is another  “L” shaped settee and dining table. Next aft is a desk and breakfast bar.To port is a  “L” shaped settee followed by a large Chart Table. Here is located the electronic switches for AC and DC Systems. A large flatscreen TV is located above and navigation instuments are outboard. An eight bottle wine cooler is located below.

Next aft and down two steps is the Galley. The galley on “Patience” will appeal to any cruising gourmet and is equivalent in size to what you'd expect on boats much larger. The galley provides ample counter space, cabinets and drawers for storage. Opposite the galley is the separate laundry room and complete walk-in workshop.

The 44m/145ft superyacht CHECKMATE is back on the charter market and will be cruising this summer in New England before heading to the Caribbean for the winter season.

Part of Benetti ’s popular Vision 145’ series, CHECKMATE priorities superior cruising, uncompromising quality and luxurious outdoor living. Whether relaxation, fun or precious family time is on the agenda, she is a fine choice for an unforgettable private yacht charter .

With a black hull and contrasting white superstructure, she certainly stands out on the water and, the 100 th fibreglass build from the Italian yard, she boasts a number of features, including increased glazing and a custom skylounge, which set her apart from her predecessors.

Styled by renowned designer Francois Zuretti, the interior is described as contemporary chic with traditional touches. Such a look is achieved by combining burl mardrone woods, Italian marble, rich fabrics and modern details.

In the welcoming main salon, guests can unwind in one of two semi-private lounge areas or sip cocktails at the bar before heading to the skylounge. Full-width curved doors slide open to create a magnificent alfresco dining area where delicious cuisine from the on-board chef is served.

Throughout the motor yacht there is an emphasis on fusing the indoor and outdoor spaces, and large windows ensure guests are kept in constant connection with their cruising grounds, from tropical island paradises of the Caribbean to the pristine beauty of New England’s coastline.

Other deck areas aboard superyacht CHECKMATE include an expansive sundeck, which is sure to become the hub of outdoor living. Unwind in the oversized spa pool, relax on chaise loungers, and take time out with a good book or get-together with loved ones in a choice of seating areas.

For charterers who want to get closer to the water, there is a fabulous beach club with a large swim platform. Relax in the gorgeous sunshine before cooling off in the sparkling ocean or try out the water toys on offer, which range from SeaDoos and towable toys to paddleboards and fishing gear.

After a day at sea, retreat to one of five staterooms, including a spacious master suite with a media room and 180-degree panoramic views in a raised sleeping area. The remaining accommodation includes two double cabins and two single cabins, each with a Pullman berth.
