Jackie O’ has a fine dining restaurant, bar, boutique, and pool above and a spread of beach loungers and waterfront directly on the beach.

Jackie O’ is a mostly gay, family friendly beach club, with a large pool, jacuzzi, beachfront, and private kaiki (traditional Greek fishing boat) for day cruises. Their fine dining yet casual Mediterranean restaurant is lead by renown Greek chef Christoferos Peskias, plus an all-day bar serving outstanding food and signature cocktails. Food and drink service extends to the pool and beach area as well as the middle lounge area. Open all day until about 1:00 a.m. with festive nightly drag queen sets with shows starting at roughly 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. This is the original and sister property to Jackie O’ Bar in Mykonos Town, with an additional live drag show later in the evening. A currently under construction hotel will also join the mix in 2021.

Jack Fhillips Leads Three-Year Restoration of JFK and Jackie O’s Presidential Yacht

Amidst the turmoil and uncertainty of 2020, designer  Jack Fhillips  received the project of the lifetime: a complete restoration of the presidential  Honey Fitz  yacht that is most often associated with JFK and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

At the time, the nearly 100-year-old vessel needed an extensive architectural overhaul to save it from “certain demise,” according to Fhillips. Charles Modica, a longtime client and local developer in Palm Beach County, had purchased the run-down ship and was seeking a historical interiors transformation that would replicate the decor of the Kennedy era as closely as possible.

Preceding Air Force One, presidential yachts (affectionately known as “Floating White Houses”) were important destinations for escaping the “claustrophobic tension” of the Oval Office, Henry Kissinger wrote. They were used for everything from meetings with prominent world leaders to pleasure cruises down the Potomac after a tough day of running a country.

A revolutionary yacht in terms of speed upon its inaugural launch in 1931, the  Honey Fitz  served five consecutive U.S. presidents: Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard M. Nixon, after being originally commissioned for Sewell Avery of Montgomery Ward, one of the most prominent retail behemoths of the day. Though Nixon renamed the boat  Patricia  in honor of his wife, and it has since been renamed and repurposed by various private owners, the ship is best known as  Honey Fitz  in popular culture once JFK took the helm, and Modica sought to restore the vessel to its highest prominence.

“After 50 years of practicing, this project was a perfect and natural fit for my firm,” says Fhillips, who has a background in historical preservation as well as interiors, and, as a resident of Palm Beach County, has worked on many private yachts.

The  Honey Fitz  first went through a three-year restoration process that required a complete overhaul of beams, subfloor, decks, and the superstructure of the yacht in line with experts in traditional shipwright methods, wooden yacht craftsmen, historical records, and U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

Fhillips finally got to take the reins with the interiors in January 2023 after combing through archived photographs, footage, and articles written about the ship, alongside the  Honey Fitz ‘s captain and first mate. The team was able to piece together an immaculate interiors refitting and restoration that honors the ship’s most historic (and glamorous) era during the Kennedy administration. Below, you can see a side-by-side view of the ship setting sail in 1961 and today.

“We serendipitously located the original company,  Bielecky Brothers , in Queens, New York that Jackie Kennedy sourced for all the rattan furniture on the aft deck,” Fhillips says.

To honor the yacht’s storied past, Fhillips says, “We located copies of hand sketches of built-in sofas Jackie Kennedy drew on White House stationary that was recreated by a very talented man, Brad London, of  Total Refit, Inc. “

The aft deck not only features recreations of Jackie O.’s original furniture designs, but also period-appropriate elements, such as a black telephone like the one JFK would use for taking calls aboard.

Those sofas are the focal point of the main salon, and the team also recreated the rattan oxbow club chairs, then styled the space with Kennedy family photos that would have been on the ship during the 1960s, as well as other memorabilia. Plenty more Kennedy mementos can be found in the stateroom in a vintage blue leather suitcase.

Modica had an English Regency-era antique dining set that was appropriate of the time that makes a perfect pairing with the LismoreWaterford crystal stemware reminiscent to the pattern gifted to JFK by the People of Ireland. The built-in buffet was rebuilt to its original integrity as well.

All of the furniture is covered in  Perennials  fabrics.

“My favorite spot on the boat would have to be the aft deck,” Fhillips says. “It is so historically correct, from the iconic Kennedy captain’s chair to the black telephone JFK used to the left of the chair. The rattan furniture was recreated, and we even located vintage gout stools that were seen in old photographs.”

While the ship has completed its service to our country’s presidents, it’s certain to have a glamorous new era as it enters its next century. The  Honey Fitz  will now serve for use on limited charters and fundraising events, an ever-present reminder of the enduring legacy—and style—of both John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

• Named the Christina O after Aristotle Onassis' daughter, the ship remains one of the only luxury yachts to accommodate a large number of passengers.

Jackie O's yacht can now be yours for a day — if you have $100,000 to drop on it, that is.

According to recent reports from CNN and Robb Report , interested parties can now rent the Christina O, the legendary superyacht that was formerly owned by millionaire shipping mogul Aristotle Onassis and former First Lady Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis .

With new updates made in 2015 and 2018 , Valef Yachts is now chartering the ship for € 90,000 , ($100,000) per day for the upcoming peak summer months and €80,000 ($90,000) during the low season. Rental also comes with additional fees and deposits for food, fuel, and other amenities.

After Onassis' death in 1975 , his daughter — whom the yacht is named after — donated the vessel to the Greek government. The vessel, under the name the Argo, remained in government hands until the late 1990s, when a family friend purchased the ship at an auction, restored it to premium condition, and renamed it the Christina O to honor its history.

The Telegraph reported the ship was "once the most exclusive bar in the world," as the rich and famous gathered there by invitation only. Keep reading for a look inside the Christina O from the stateroom lounges to the outdoor Jacuzzi deck.

Originally a convoy escort called the Stormont, shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis purchased the yacht in 1954.

Onassis purchased the ship for just $34,000 , its scrap value. He then spent $4 million refurbishing the 325-foot vessel and named it the Christina after his daughter.

Until his death in 1975, the Christina served as both Onassis' residence and headquarters.

Onassis made his fortune in the shipping business, eventually owning one of the world's largest fleets . However, the Christina luxury yacht was considered his flagship vessel, as it served as both his office headquarters and as his "floating mansion."

Both Aristotle and Jackie frequently used the ship to entertain an impressive list of guests.

Aristotle and Jackie Onassis married in 1968, a wedding that shocked many fans still mourning the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. 

This list included Hollywood stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

In addition to celebrities such as Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, and Frank Sinatra , who graced the Christina during the 1970s, politicians such as Sir Winston Churchill and royalty such as Princess Grace of Monaco visited as well.

After Onassis' death, his daughter Christina donated the ship to the Greek government.

Onassis' friend John Paul Papanicolaou bought the vessel at an auction in 1998 .

He spent $50 million restoring the yacht to its former glory and renamed it the Christina O to honor its origins and family history.

Under its new name the Christina O, the vessel remains one of the only ships that can accommodate a large number of passengers.

It is one of the only superyachts capable of accommodating up to 34 guests overnight — and that's in addition to 38 crew members.

Guests have access to a variety of water toys that are included in the rental price.

Among the water toys included in the rental price of the Christina O are a hoverboard, water skis, and snorkel gear .

But the yacht comes with a serious price tag: Valef Yachts is currently chartering the yacht for € 90,000 , ($100,000) per day for July and August €80,000 ($90,000) during the low season, plus additional fees.

The yacht also boasts several additional watercraft.

The Christina O comes with several personal boats capable of carrying eight guests each, along with several tenders — smaller boats that serve as support to a large vessel , especially when docking is inconvenient or impossible.

When it comes to the yacht's interior, an immaculate spiral staircase leads up to the boat's suites.

The vessel is complete with 17 cabins .

All rooms are equipped with an en suite shower , along with televisions and stereo systems. All but two cabins are convertible from twin to double beds .

The master suite opens up to a private sitting area complete with library shelving.

The yacht has two lounges: the Lapis Lounge and the Callas Lounge.

The Callas Lounge is named after opera singer Marie Callas , with whom Aristotle Onassis had an affair . The pair began a relationship while they were both married. After divorcing their spouses, the relationship continued for several years until Onassis married Jackie Kennedy.

It also features a grand piano and an area for guests to enjoy drinks.

And then, there's the iconic Ari's Bar.

The bar, named after the late owner, remains well-preserved with its original orca teeth hooks and whale skin stools.

The bar top is made from a sunken Spanish galleon , while the footrests are engraved with scenes from epics "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey."

The yacht also features a gym space.

The gym is equipped with treadmills , elliptical bikes, and a free weights.

Along with two massage rooms, the Christina O has a beauty room.

Massage therapists and additional staff help are included in the cost of renting the boat.

In recent years, the yacht has seen several notable updates.

In 2018, the ship was re-fitted with a new cinema.

Several other upgrades were made in 2018, including new paint, a new swim platform, and updates to the Jacuzzi Deck.

Outside on the deck, guests can enjoy the sunshine.

The outdoor dining table on the Jacuzzi Deck seats eight guests. Lounge chairs are spread across the extensive sunbathing decks.

The mosaic pool doubles as a dance floor space when covered.

"The mosaic pool that converts into a dance floor and the famous bar evoke another era and absolute glamour," a PR representative for Valef Yachts told Business Insider.

Additional dining space on the ship means there's room for many guests.

While the dining room seats 40 , staff can also rearrange the deck furniture for larger gatherings. The Christina O is capable of carrying up to 157 guests while cruising and up to 250 guests while docked .

The ship is specifically outfitted to host large parties.

Today, the Christina O remains one of the few superyachts capable of accommodating up to 34 guests across 17 cabins.

Most yachts — even oversized vessels — rarely accommodate more than 12 people .

On top of that, the yacht can accommodate hundreds for daytime cruising or evening events, such as weddings and private parties.

Jackie o’s last love lands new, younger flame.

The last lover of Jackie Onassis, super-rich international diamond merchant Maurice Tempelsman, has a new love – 39 years his junior.

Tempelsman, Jackie’s constant companion for the last 15 years of her life, celebrates his 71st birthday in three weeks. He has been seen regularly with an attractive blonde woman less than half his age.

Until now her identity has been a mystery – but The Post has identified her as a brilliant career woman named Alice Kimball Malone, known as Kim. At 32, she has cut a figure in international finance, business, telecommunications and politics.

“I’ve seen them cuddling and kissing – being affectionate,” said a source familiar with the couple. “I’ve seen her resting her head on his shoulder and in his lap in the back of his chauffeur-driven car.

“I’ve seen them taking walks on Fifth Avenue and in Central Park – just as he used to do with Jackie.”

Kim is one of her generation’s Best and Brightest – a high-flying, Ivy League-educated beauty with an MBA from Harvard and a degree in Russian and Slavic language and literature from Princeton.

She is the protégé of one of the Internet’s leading visionaries and the CEO of a start-up software company in Manhattan.

Malone and Tempelsman recently returned from a romantic trip on his yacht, Relemar, on which he spent so many idyllic days and passionate nights with Jackie O.

Younger than Tempelsman’s youngest daughter, Malone became flustered when asked about her relationship with Tempelsman. Reached at her office in Greenwich Village, she would say only: “I’m not going to comment on this. No. I just can’t. I really can’t talk about him.”

Tempelsman did not return calls when asked to comment on the relationship.

Kim lives in an Upper West Side apartment close to Central Park but, according to a neighbor, is rarely there. Former colleagues say she thrives on long hours, throwing herself into complex projects and sweating solutions.

“She is a very driven person, very committed, but also very compassionate,” said a dot-com executive who has worked with her. “She is very unusual.

“She is very intelligent and a great networker. She knows an amazing number of people. She wins people’s trust. She has wonderful qualities. She is highly ethical.”

The daughter of Allen Malone, a successful civil-litigation lawyer in Memphis, Tenn., Kim is remembered at Princeton as a mature, industrious student with glittering intellectual gifts. She graduated in 1990.

She was a member of the Campus Club but Princeton alumni say she did not have much time for the social life of the college. She participated in an abused-children project and was an active member of the Princeton Alliance to Reverse the Arms Race.

At just 24, she was recruited as a financial analyst by Batterymarch Financial Management, a Boston investment bank run by Dean LeBaron.

He operated a venture capital fund aimed at redirecting the redundant Soviet military-industrial complex to a capitalist economy serving civilian markets.

Kim spent two years working out of a Moscow mansion, a fascinated witness to the period that saw the collapse of the communist system, the fragmentation of the Soviet Union and daily life plunged into chaos.

It isn’t known precisely how Kim and Tempelsman met but they may have known each other for several years – perhaps even before Jackie’s death.

The Russian diamond industry experienced explosive growth in the early ’90s and was closely monitored in the West for possible dumping and other unscrupulous practices.

One of the projects on which Malone worked was the 1992 start-up of a Russian diamond-cutting factory that she says achieved $100 million in revenues within two years.

Tempelsman does a significant amount of business with the Russians and has a diamond-cutting and polishing plant there. It is possible that the project in which she was involved first drew her to his attention.

Returning to the United States, Malone joined the Council on Foreign Relations. Tempelsman is also a member. She became senior policy adviser to the then-Federal Communications Commission chairman, Reed Hundt, for two years.

Playing off her experience with the FCC, she joined a start-up Internet telephone business, Delta Three, owned by Estee Lauder’s son, Ronald. She was executive vice president of business affairs, leaving to join yet another dot-com, CapitalThinking, which offers commercial loans and real-estate mortgages on the Internet.

The founder of CapitalThinking, Internet visionary Dr. Charles Ferguson, recruited her as CEO of her latest venture, Acropole, a software company developing e-business tools.

Tempelsman is an enigmatic figure who managed to keep a low profile even when he was the live-in lover of one of the most famous beauties on the planet.

He was the scion of a family of Orthodox Jewish diamond merchants based in Antwerp, Belgium, the capital of the uncut-diamond industry. The family fled to the United States when Maurice was 10.

He went into the family business when he was still in his teens and rose through the ranks, taking over on his father’s death in 1955.

A major player in the international diamond scene, he is one of only 160 brokers worldwide licensed to buy directly from the South African cartel, DeBeers, at preferred prices.

Tempelsman married Lily Bucholz, daughter of another Antwerp refugee. They have three children, Rena, 46, Leon, 44, and Marcy, 39. They continued to live together in a 14-room West Side duplex apartment even after Tempelsman had begun to see Jackie, although the size or the living space meant they were able to live essentially separate lives.

At 5-foot-8, 200-plus pounds and balding, Tempelsman’s love affair with Jackie seemed as unlikely in the 1980s as his relationship with Kim Malone does today.

In 1984, the Tempelsmans obtained a religious divorce but continued to be legally married. He moved into the Stanhope Hotel, a short walk from Jackie’s apartment on Fifth Avenue, and eventually moved in with her.

As well as being Jackie’s lover and companion, he was her chief financial adviser.

After Jackie’s death, Tempelsman was reportedly heartbroken. Named an executor and a trustee of her estate, there were soon unconfirmed reports of tension between him and her famous children, John and Caroline.

Tempelsman is believed to have begun seeing Malone several months ago.

How his own children have reacted to the relationship isn’t known. But Jackie’s daughter, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, is reportedly offended by their friendship and appalled that Tempelsman takes his new love on trips and outings that parallel his dates with Jackie.

But members of Tempelsman’s circle are said to be supporting him.

Jackie 'O' Henderson put on a very stylish display as she joined her radio co-host Kyle Sandilands and his family for a long-haul flight to New York on Saturday.

The radio star, 49, appeared to be in jovial spirits as she flashed a huge smile while arriving at Sydney Airport for her morning flight.

The radio star, 49, appeared to be in jovial spirits as she flashed a huge smile while arriving at Sydney Airport for her morning flight

Kyle looked travel ready as he sported a black hoodie and baggy tracksuit bottoms, which he paired with a pair of comfortable trainers.

The radio shock jock sported his signature black baseball cap and looked every inch the doting father as he walked through the airport holding hands with his son Otto.

He was also joined by his wife Tegan, who showed off her incredible figure in a cropped red cardigan and fitted black leggings.

She added to her sporty look with a pair of chunky white trainers and carried her belongings in a beige handbag, while she also wheeled a suitcase beside her.

The family looked as close as ever as they sweetly all walked hand-in-hand while preparing to meet Jackie for their flight.

Jackie later took to Instagram to post a selfie from the plane as she documented her travels with her 286,000 followers.

Jackie, 49, went as far as to claim the Pink Pony Club singer is 'not suited to fame' after Chappell furiously hit out at the photographer for apparently shouting at her.

'She is not suited to fame at all,' Jackie began as she weighed in on the now-viral moment.

'She was on the red carpet and she didn't even like the fact that photographers were yelling out her name,' Jackie said, incorrectly recapping the moment Chappell confronted the red carpet photographer. 

'I mean, she's on a red carpet that's going to happen, so they were just yelling out her name.'

Kyle then doubled down as he suggested Chappell should 'avoid' stressful events like red carpets.

'If you're full of anxiety, don't go to a place where all eyes are gonna be on,' he argued.

'You know, don't go where you're gonna be scrutinised and followed and photographed. Pick a different job.'

Their travels come after Jackie and Kyle decided to weigh in on Chappell Roan's now-viral VMAs red carpet moment on their radio show this week 

Despite their viewpoint, pop star Chappell also received a lot of praise from her fans for standing her ground in the tense confrontation on the VMAs red carpet.

As seen in video footage circulating on social media, Chappell, with her back facing photographers, was in the middle of adjusting her Y/Project gown when she heard a photographer yell: 'Shut the f*** up!'

The Hot To Go hitmaker quickly spun around and screamed back, 'You shut the f*** up!'

After several cheers from onlookers, Chappell went on to shut down the heckler. Wagging her finger, she sternly added, 'No. Not me, b***h.'

Chappell has since explained why she decided to speak up during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

'This is quite overwhelming and quite scary,' Chappell told the outlet.

'For someone who gets a lot of anxiety around people yelling at you, the carpet is horrifying and I yelled back. You don't get to yell at me like that.'

Chappell has been open about her bipolar II disorder and how her sudden rise to overnight fame has impacted her mental health in recent months.

At the awards ceremony, footage showed Chappell slamming a photographer who yelled 'shut the f*** up' on the red carpet, prompting her to direct the insult back at him  

'It's easier for me to stand up for myself,' she added. 'I'm not taking this for the rest of my career I've been famous for one month this is not how it's going to go, girl.'

Later at the awards show, Chappell set fire to the stage with a show-stopping performance of her hit Good Luck, Babe!, which lead to her first ever VMA win.

She took home the coveted Best New Artist gong, beating out Benson Boone, Gracie Abrams, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and Tyla.

Reading her acceptance speech from her diary, Chappell dedicated the award to 'all the drag artists who inspire me and to queer and trans people who fuel pop'.

Chappell also thanked 'the fans who listen to me when I share my joy and my fears' in her acceptance speech.
