Incredibly gorgeous from the first glance, this seaworthy semi-displacement yacht boasts an impressive 55-meter high-performance hull capable of transoceanic crossings, with a maximum speed of 18.5 knots. Her lightweight aluminum hull and composite superstructure are seamlessly joined in a striking exterior design. Built to Lloyd’s Class, one of her head-turning features is a sleek hull of exquisite cerulean blue, the result of a rigorous multistep painting process and brilliantly cast against an off-white superstructure with shimmering metallic silver details. SILVER SHALIS was the final exterior styling project of renowned yacht designer Bill Langan.
Inside, famed designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett created a décor that elegantly complements the art collection on display throughout her many living and entertainment spaces. On the interior, her decks are served by a silent, glass-enclosed cylindrical elevator with an oil-rubbed bronze metal finish. A central staircase wraps around the elevator, featuring curved marble wall panels—a remarkable accomplishment, as all panels run vertically in a sequential vein-matched arrangement throughout the length of the stair tower.
The upper deck features an indoor/outdoor dining option for ten via a distinctive curved glass door that opens a full 180 degrees. Just one of her many unique features is an extensively outfitted gym on the sun deck with dramatic and panoramic views of the outside. The sun deck, complete with a lap pool, allows for maximum pleasure and healthy living while onboard. Enchanting from every vantage point, this beautiful masterwork from Delta provides unmatched luxury and adventure for her owners and lucky guests.

53m (174´) sleek and stylish motor yacht Silver Shalis, formerly known as Project 175038 is a stunning semi-displacement vessel with an all composite body built by the US shipyard Delta Marine and launched in 2010. Naval Architect of the Silver Shalis superyacht is by Delta Marine´s in-house design team. Delta Marine´s luxury yacht Silver Shalis´ interior is made from straight grain woods combined with a monochromatic color palette of Zen earth tones accented with pops of color. The minimalist design is chosen in order to show off the furnishings, made from a combination of textures, tone and elegance, from natural fibers, the highest quality leather, and other textiles that are indulgent, but also for every day living. Built in aluminium luxury yacht Silver Shalis is run by twin MTU 16V 4000 diesels, giving her an ability to reach a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Her beam is of 10.3m and her draft of 2.31m. Silver Shalis is classed to Lloyd´s Register and compliant to the MCA.

Superyacht Silver Shalis Undergoes Price Reduction

Merle Wood & Associates has announced a significant $1,000,000 price reduction to the 39.9m motor yacht Silver Shalis .
Custom built in 1987 by Abeking & Rasmussen ; Silver Shalis is an immaculate superyacht which holds outstanding Northern European build quality whilst offering an enviable interior design from Diana Yacht Designs.
Silver Shalis is capable of accommodating ten guests in four luxuriously decorated cabins, whilst also offering enough space for six skilled crew members.
However, comfort and open spaces are not the only selling points of this distinctively styled motor yacht. Equipped with 3 powerful MTU 16V diesel engines, demanding a total of 10,440hp, and three water jets, Silver Shalis is capable of achieving a total speed of 30 knots; an impressive pace for a 40m yacht.
Her shallow draft allows her to cruise effortlessly through the waters off the Bahamas or the Greek Islands, but given all of these traits, Silver Shalis has still never been available for charter. This like-new superyacht will no doubt be turning heads at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show this month.
Available for sale through Merle Wood & Associates, Silver Shalis is now listed at an asking price of $3,950,000 after a major $1,000,000 price reduction.

$2 million price reduction to superyacht Silver Shalis at Burgess and Merle Wood
Hot news just in from Caroline Walters at Burgess as she tells me that the joint central agency for sale with Merle Wood & Associates, the 40m motor yacht Silver Shalis , has had a $2 million cut in price.
Silver Shalis was built in 1987 by Abeking & Rasmussen to a design by Diana Yacht Design , perfectly combining pedigree superyacht construction with performance and comfort.
This superyacht is powered by three MTU 16V engines with a combined horsepower of 10,440 driving triple KaMeWa waterjets. She's capable of cruising at 30 knots with excellent stability due to her performance-type deep V hull and her shallow draft makes her ideal for cruising in the Bahamas.
Refitted in 1994, Silver Shalis has had one owner since new, been meticulously maintained with a full refit in 1994 and has never been chartered. She sleeps up to 10 guests in a master, two double and a triple cabin plus Pullman berth. Previously priced at $6.95 million, she's now asking $4.95 million.
