There are a million reasons to love Sydney, and the harbour has to be number one. It’s awe-inspiring and beautiful, and locals lap up any opportunity to be close to it. If you’ve been living in the harbour city for a while, chances are you’ve sailed it, strolled around it, soared over it, and maybe even climbed the bridge that stretches across it. But have you ever had a sleepover in it? The next time you’re planning a holiday, mid-week treat, or weekend getaway, consider cruising, and then staying overnight.

We’ve done the research for you – these are the best boutique boat stays in Sydney.

To slip away for Christmas, board True North’s adventure cruise ship. The Blue Water Classic is a four-day trip, during which you’ll watch the Sydney-Hobart yacht race, visit Taronga Zoo, sail along the Northern Beaches, and spend time in the Hawkesbury. There are a slew of optional activities, including restaurant dinners and a scenic heli tour.

The Blue Water Classic runs from December 25-29, 2018, and hosts up to 36 guests.

If you wish to explore further, most of these boats listed can cruise offshore to the sheltered waters of Pittwater and the Hawkesbury River. often the only extra cost incurred is extra fuel costs. Sydney Harbour Escapes specialises in organising stays for celebrites aboard our deluxe superyachts. Security can be organised and many optional services. Most of the vessels above vessels offer the capacity for extended stay charters. Often there is a discount for more than 24 hours. Ask for your specialised quote if this is not advertised.

This varies from each vessel - We do have some vessels where the skipper stays onboard the vessel and others where the skipper gets off the vessel once moored.

Where does the vessel anchor?

This is dependent on the weather and winds on the night of your charter - the skipper will choose a nice secluded bay on the night

Can I bring my own music?

Definitely! On board all of our vessels is an AUX cord which is compatible with any music compatible device e.g. iPhone, iPod.

How do I make a boat booking?

To secure a vessel for your charter, we take a 50% deposit of the total amount or cost of the vessel hire, unless specified otherwise. The rest of the payment will be due 14 days prior to the charter along with final numbers and food and beverage requirements. Just select your start date and end date to check the availability for your selected date.

How can I make payment?

Payment can be made by EFT, Visa, MasterCard or in cash.

Seeing the fireworks from a yacht will ensure you get up close and personal and have the best view in the city.

When it comes to weather, Sydney is quite predictable. The warmer months are commonly from November to February which is when the Harbour is most alive and buzzing with activity.

Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. I'm available on email, text message or by phone (if I'm not in a meeting!). I pride myself on being responsive. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Within easy reach of Sydney's cultural attractions, but sheltered in picturesque surroundings, Rushcutte Bay is a relaxed neighbourhood with a wonderful array of boutique shops, noteworthy restaurants, cosy cafes, and organic farmers' markets. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Walk just about everywhere.

Sit back on the sun-drenched veranda of this cosy period house and take in the sweeping views across Green Park. All rooms are spacious and come with all the essentials to make you feel at home. As hosts with a young family, we occupy part of the property and share a common wall with the guesthouse. However, the AirBnB is private, has a separate entrance and shares no common areas. This self-contained guesthouse is part of a gracious federation family home on a corner block with its own private entrance. It has one bedroom with a built in wardrobe and desk. The Living area is a combined living/dining and kitchenette leading to a large outside verandah/deck. The space is flexible and perfect for business travellers, young families and couples looking to enjoy the best parts of Sydney. We have an air mattress and crib, which we’ll include or remove based on your sleeping requirements. You’ll feel just like you’re at home away from home! Guests have a separate private access with no shared areas and direct access to Green Park from the outside veranda accessible via a side entrance. This property supports keyless access powered by August Home. Should you wish, there is no need to interact with the residents of the house, the apartment is your space and is totally private. Across the road from the house is Greens Park, which boasts a playground, public tennis courts, and basketball hoops. Cammeray golf course is practically on the doorstep as well, and there's a huge array of cafes, restaurants, and bakeries nearby. Cammeray is an excellent location with immediate access in all directions by car. There is plenty of all day parking on the street just outside our place. Public transport is a breeze into the City, North Sydney and Mosman. It's even an easy walk to & from North Sydney, Neutral Bay & Crows Nest for work or play. The kitchenette comes equipped with a bar fridge, microwave / oven, 2x induction hot plates, toaster, jug and necessities.

Your front entry leads into a spacious, open plan living area with fully equipped kitchenette, TV & comfy couch + reading nook. The bedroom features a top quality mattress. G'day there, My name is Trent & I have created a really chilled Blue Mountains experience for those seeking a social & less touristic group tour with full transport. After picking you up from Sydney in our mini bus, we drive to my hometown of Glenbrook to grab a coffee together at a cool local cafe. Before heading into the local National Park for amazing lookouts. We will take you on a moderate/hard 90min bushwalk via some amazing view points, small waterfalls to the base of a big waterfall in Jamison Valley. The hardest part is optional to skip. We provide a social picnic lunch (refer to picture) where we all connect. BYO beers/drinks are fine (grab beers at the 930am cafe stop). After lunch we stop by the famous Three Sisters Rock formations as well as Lincolns rock. Many other stops too. We try to show you guys as much as possible. Harbour Kayak Adventure

Come enjoy a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbour. No engine noise or fumes, just the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above! We'll experience the built environs and get up close and personal with many of the harbour's natural wonders and marine inhabitants. We'll paddle to the center of the harbour where we'll get some photos of you framed by the Harbour Bridge (I'm a professional photographer in my other job so expect good pics - no charge of course!) We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is arranged for you and included as part of the tour. After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Market a short walk away. There are also lot's of excellent lunch options minutes away on the famous Glebe Point Road or treat yourself to something really special at the Tramsheds. Our boatshed is easy to get to with plenty of free street parking nearby. We're the only kayak tour run by qualified kayakers that use REAL sea kayaks and top notch carbon fibre paddles. We're going to discover the underwater world by floating above the marine sanctuary in Manly which is full of life and colours :) I'll be by your side the entire time to make sure you feel safe and comfortable as we observe all the beautiful marine species in our reserve I will identify the different species you'll see and take high resolution underwater photos (additional cost) so that you can focus on enjoying the Experience The bay is a marine sanctuary which means ecosystem is working perfectly and marine life won’t scare you, I'll also teach you to respect it Once you have booked your preferred day and time I will check the weather forecast, tide, swell and wind conditions. Secret Sydney Walking Experience

Meet at Customs House - opposite Circular Quay Train Station. Then it’s off to The Rocks - the oldest part of Sydney. You'll learn it's many secrets and bawdy past. Discover secret laneways and tunnels. There are tales of ghosts and characters who've inhabited this area. Our next stop is Observatory Hill to discover the location of the first Sydney public hangings. The gazebo has an eerie echo in a secret spot that’ll send chills down your spine. This is a spot for amazing pictures of Sydney Harbour. From there we’re off to Barangaroo to discover more about our Aboriginal peoples. It's Sydney’s newest public space and includes the Cutaway, the Star Gazers Lawn & a faithful recreation of what Sydney Harbour would have looked like before colonisation. We’ll walk past the Jones Bay Finger Wharves, the Maritime Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Arts (not stopping at these museums but you’ll get your bearings to visit at your leisure). We walk under the Harbour Bridge. Finally, we make your way to Circular Quay, to take in the iconic views of the Opera House. This is a small group walking tour. It’ll go at your pace. Not physically difficult. We can stop for refreshments and snacks. Lots of great photo opportunities. Children under 18 and accompanied by a parent are free!! I’m sometimes available for a coffee and a chat - with suggestions on where to go and what to do, but if guests want privacy, I totally stay away from any interaction. I may also be available for an airport pickup but that has to be pre-arranged. North Bondi is very trendy, about three minutes away from one of the trendiest coffee shops and eateries around: Shuk. For the excitement of Bondi Beach, walk around 15 minutes to the beach strip, with restaurants, bars, and entertainment galore. Bus 379 which runs every 10 minutes, is just 90 seconds away from your Studio. It routes to the city via Bondi Junction Train Station. From Bondi Junction Train Station, you can get to almost anywhere in the greater Sydney area via the Underground/Train service. NEW NEW. Take bus 380 (4 minutes away) to Watsons Bay and then take the FERRY to Circular Quay in the city, taking in the sights of Sydney's east and the Harbour and the Bridge, and the Opera House, all from the sea! And if you are coming by car, of course, there is ample parking right outside the Studio at all times of the day or night. We emphasise that we offer guaranteed free unlimited street parking, one of our biggest attractions, since parking in the Bondi Beach area is very very difficult and very very expensive. Please bear that in mind when you make your booking decision. Your Studio looks out onto your courtyard. You do not have sea views from the Studio but you do have full panoramic views coming up to the house and accessing the walkway to the back where the Studio is situated and it is this view that is commented on by nearly all guests. Your booking costs include a cleaning of charge of $105 of which $75 is for floor-washing, vacuuming, and full cleaning of the unit, kitchen area and bathroom, and a laundry fee of $25 for the cleaning and pressing of towels, bath-mat, sheets and pillow-cases. $5 goes towards replacing, every 4 months, the white rug in front of your bed! Your bed will feel crisp and new when you arrive! 1. Bus 379, is just 90 seconds away, & other bus-lines are 4 minutes away. 2. Popular cafe/eatery, laundry service, pharmacy, medical facility, bottle store, convenience store are all between 3 and 5 minutes away by foot. 3. Bondi Beach with a wide range of restaurants and facilities is just a 10 minute stroll, as is the famous Bondi-Bronte walk. We offer you an arrival in Sydney with a prepaid bus/train pass in your pocket even before you exit passport control ! Ask us how. Electric bicycles for hire on your doorstep. A cellphone that works here? Either purchase your own SIMcard at the airport (around $20 with airtime and 1GB of data) or use ours for your entire stay, for $10. If you come from a country with a different system to ours, we can offer you a phone on arrival at Bondi Views Studio. Oh, and we even have 2 umbrellas for you in case of rain!
