A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance)

• 40% of the charter price:  To cover the following costs, but not limited to: fuel for cruising, fuel for tender and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included. A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee. If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash. If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage. A.P.A does not include a tip for the crew.

• Tips are not included in the price of the charter and are a voluntary way of showing appreciation for a good service. Usually, it is 10% to 15% of the charter price, according to your satisfaction, paid to the captain at the end of the charter and distributed equally by the captain to the rest of the crew.

How does the charter agreement work?

Once your chosen yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard MYBA or Goolets charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the yacht's central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

What are the payment terms?

After signing the MYBA or Goolets charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required. You can pay the fee via bank transfer or credit card (only Visa or MasterCard). The other 50%, an Advance Provisioning Allowance (if applicable), taxes, positioning fees, and any previously agreed charges are payable via bank transfer eight weeks before departure.

What are the actual operating expenses?

Once you made the final payment of the charter, you pay the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). Under MYBA terms, this fee is usually between 30% - 40% of the total charter cost.

This covers the operating expenses of a charter (explained under Charter Terms), such as fuel, food, drinks, port fees, and ad hoc incidentals. The APA is given to the captain before the start of your charter. Some yachts and gulets also offer food/drinks packages which are normally paid in cash during embarkation, while the port taxes are paid during embarkation according to the costs presented by the captain. The Captain ensures that the yacht is fully fuelled and stocked when you step on board. 

While an up-to-date summary of accounts can be requested at any time during your charter, a full set of accounts will normally be submitted by your captain at the end of the cruise. 

In case of surpassing the amount of money already paid during your yacht charter (with the APA), additional funds (in cash) will be required at once. If there is an outstanding balance from the yacht charter, it should be settled in cash or by bank transfer before you disembark. In case of a remaining credit at the end of your charter, you will be fully reimbursed. 

If a transfer by car to and from the yacht is required, it can be arranged either by the charter company or by the yacht’s captain, payment for which will be deducted from your APA.

How can we make your yacht charter personalized?

To ensure a unique and tailor-made charter experience, we will send you a detailed questionnaire eight weeks before you embark on your yacht. You can tell us your group's preferences and special requirements, such as dietary or medical needs, any particular wishes regarding exercise, entertainment, or if you are celebrating a special occasion. 

Are internet and satellite TV connections available onboard?

In case you really need to get some work done during your vacation, no worries. On most yachts, there is mobile broadband internet and satellite TV, so you will stay connected to the rest of the world. Just keep in mind that the service can be limited in some areas (you are in the middle of the sea after all). If you anticipate regular usage of the internet, let us know prior to embarking, as upgrades might be subject to availability and additional fees may apply.

Is smoking allowed onboard?

Smoking is permitted only on the outside decks, and on some yachts, only in dedicated outdoor areas. Please consult our charter brokers for more information. For safety reasons, smoking indoors is strictly prohibited on all yachts.

Are tips for the crew mandatory?

Even though tips are not mandatory, the guests normally extend a gratuity to the devoted crew. The amount depends on the guest's satisfaction, but it is approximately 10% of the charter fee. The tips are equally distributed among all crew members by the captain.

Should I get any insurance?

In case of unforeseen circumstances that might prevent the charter, we highly recommend taking out the Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect the investment. Besides that, the guests should be covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their belongings are insured against theft, loss, or damage. Charterers’ Liability insurance is also highly recommended. Contact your broker for further assistance and additional advice regarding the insurance.

How are the charter rates calculated?

Charter rates are estimated weekly. If a charter exceeds seven days, they are calculated pro-rata against the weekly rate divided by seven and multiplied by the number of charter days. Keep in mind that some yachts are only chartered on a weekly (Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday) basis, especially during the high season.

High and low season rates vary depending on charter locations and types of yachts. The high rates apply to the most popular charter periods (July/August and Christmas/New Year), and to all major events. Low season rates apply to all other periods.

The charter rates on our website are up to date but may be subject to change. 

What are the charter terms?

Most charter rates are based on MYBA Terms, which entail that the yacht is in full commission, with all necessary equipment, properly insured for marine risks, and managed by a crew, whose wages, food, and clothing are the owner’s expense.

All other operating expenses are charged to the charterer and include (but are not limited to): fuel and lubricating oils for the yacht and her tenders; local taxes; pilotage; port, harbor, and marina dues; customs clearance; water and power; personal laundry; all provisions, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks and consumables for the charterer’s group; shoreside excursions, telecommunication, and internet costs.

Please note that, occasionally, a yacht may offer an alteration on the terms described above. For further information about specific yachts, consult your broker.

Do any other taxes apply?

For charters in European waters, Value Added Tax and delivery costs may be charged on the gross Charter Fee, due to the European Union tax legislation. In other countries, local taxes may also apply. Depending on your chosen charter destination, our brokers will provide any prevalent rates.

Gulet Yacht Queen of Datca - 2024 Charter Rates / Per Day

Advance Provisioning Allowance (A.P.A) in amount of the charter fee (before discount) is to be paid by the charterer in addition to the charter fee which includes all fuel and relevant costs for the yacht and its tenders, as well as all harbor expenses, customs, gratuity and other additional costs for the yacht, crew, client and guests during the entire charter period.

A.P.A. is obligatory for all luxury yachts and it is usually ranged for 30% of the charter price. The Client will be advised by the captain, at intervals, as to the disbursement of the A.P.A and will, if the balance remaining becomes insufficient, in light of current expenditure, pay to the captain, a sufficient sum to maintain an adequate credit balance. Prior to disembarkation at the end of the charter period, the captain shall present to the Client a detailed account of expenditures with as many supporting receipts as possible, and the Client will pay to the captain the balance of the expenses or the captain will repay to the Client any balance overpaid, as the case may be.

Payment for special requirements or equipment and/or shore transport and/or excursions and/or all other expenses not customarily considered part of the Yacht's costs may be required to be paid to the captain on board in addition to the charter fee and/or A.P.A.

Boat Description

Queen of Datca is one of the most luxurious gulets in Croatia, Queen of Datca, amazes with her appearance and high-end finishes. The gulet is 35 meters long, which guarantees lot of space for indoor and outdoor living. All the cabins are air conditioned and have en-suite toilet. The use of air conditioning is unlimited. Both Master cabins are very beautiful, spacious, have king size bed, powder table, Satellite TV, lot of storage and very nice en-suite bathroom. VIP cabin has queen size bed, lot of storage and nice en-suite bathroom. There are 2 twin cabins, which are exactly the same and both have en-suite bathroom. All the bathrooms are fully equipped. Gulet Queen of Datca has very classy indoor salon. This area is very big, with lot of day light, due to large windows all around. There is a dining table with huge, black leather sofa and chairs. On the other corner, there are 2 comfortable armchairs as well as the yacht bar. Salon is equipped with Satellite TV/DVD, Docking station, air conditioning, little library, board games. The most inviting area on the yacht is the deck. On the stern deck, there is additional dining table with chairs and comfortable, cushioned sofa that stretches throughout the whole beam. On the bow deck, there are 10 sun bathing mattresses. The gulet has excellent sailing performances and the crew will raise up the sails whenever conditions allow. Six crew members are at guests’ disposal at all times: captain, chef, engineer, deckhand, hostess, housekeeper. They are all fluent in English and offer high level service. Gulet Queen of Datca sails in Montenegro and Croatia, providing nice variety of itineraries.

How does charter Agreement work ?

Once your chosen Gulet yacht has been confirmed, we will send you a standard Gulet Broker Yachting charter agreement that needs to be signed. If your chosen cruise route requires a different embarking or disembarking place other than the gulet’s central harbor, delivery/redelivery fees may apply.

Payment Options

We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance including food monies, is payable 5 weeks before departure by bank transfer or alternatively the full amount may be paid in cash on arrival.

WEEKLY CHARTER RATES 2024: High Season (July & August): €56,000 + 13% VAT + 40% APA Mid season (June & September): €49,000 + 13% VAT + 40% APA Low season (May & October): €42,000 + 13% VAT + 40% APA.

Queen of Datca is available in Greece, Turkey and Croatia.

APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is an estimate (usually 30% - 40% of the charter rate) paid with the balance for covering running costs during the charter (food, drinks, fuel, mooring fees, and anything else that guests might need while on charter). Final accounts will be produced by the Captain at the end of the charter and any unused funds will be refunded in full to the Charterer directly. If the funds are not sufficient, the Captain will advise the Charterer accordingly and bills will be settled upon disembarkation.

Crew Gratuity – Although discretionary, a crew gratuity of 10% of the charter fee is customary.

MYBA terms will apply.

Payment conditions: 50% within 7 days of signing the charter agreement, remaining 50% plus VAT plus APA at least 5 weeks before the beginning of the charter.

This is the official website of the owner of the Queen of Datca (pronounced as Datcha) – a classic yacht built in 2009 by Yener Yat in Turkey. The Queen was designed as a true sailing yacht in the shape of a traditional Turkish gulet, combining elegance and performance. Sailing equipment is of the highest specification, with 1000 sq. metres of sails.

The Queen of Datca is extremely well equipped to provide for your comfort. As you’d expect from a 36m gulet, there is ample deck space with a seating area and cushioned spaces, a range of water toys including a jet ski, and comfortable and spacious interiors with satellite TV. Besides, unlike most other gulets, sophisticated equipment onboard will let you enjoy the quietness of the night.

The Queen can take up to 10 passengers in 5 cabins (two master, one double and two twin that can also be converted to doubles). The 6-strong crew is committed to making your holiday a perfect one. Maltese flag and EU licence give you a complete freedom of destinations.

QUEEN OF DATCA 38 m length and offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 luxuriously-appointed, air-conditioned cabins. Her mahogany interior gleams with beautiful varnished woodwork throughout and is extremely spacious. The main deck saloon is very comfortable, with two white duck slip covered club chairs alongside the interior dining area. And, as is always a major attraction on a gulet, there is a large exterior dining table for on deck dining either under the shade of the sun awning or under the stars at night. Across the stern of the yacht is a large cushioned lounging area, where the sun pads are covered in soft fabrics, creating the perfect spot for relaxing into an afternoon nap after a delicious al fresco lunch. An additional sunning area is provided on cabin house deck, located forward.

Of the yacht’s five cabins, there are two master staterooms, each with a king size bed; one double bed stateroom with a queen size bed and two staterooms, each with two twin beds. Charter Rates Doesn’t Include APA %25 and VAT for Croatia and Greece A.P.A. 25 % of Charter Fee A.P.A. (Advance Provisioning Allowance) To cover following costs, but not limited to: fuel for the main engine and generators; fuel for cruising; fuel for tender and water sports equipment; food and beverages for the Charter Party; berthing dues and other harbor charges including pilots ’fees, local taxes, divers’ fees, customs formalities, charges for waste disposal, charges for water and electricity taken from shore; shipping agents’ fees where applicable; Charter Party personal laundry; Charter Party communications and internet use; hire or purchase costs of any special equipment placed on board at the Charterer’s request, shoreside transport and excursions, national park entrances and other costs for services requested by Charter Party during the charter and all other costs not specified as included.

A.P.A is paid by the Client in addition to the charter fee for all relevant costs for the vessel that are not included in the charter fee.

If A.P.A does not cover complete costs, the Client will pay exceeding the amount on board in cash.

If costs made on charter are less than the amount is given as A.P.A, the amount that was not spent will be returned to the Client at the end of the voyage.

A.P.A does not include a tip for the crew.

Payment Options We will require a 50 % deposit of the gulet rental to secure your reservation in Turkey, this is payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance including food monies, is payable 6 weeks before departure by bank transfer or alternatively the full amount may be paid in cash on arrival.

Croatia & MS Queen of Datca open for yacht charter again!  Croatian authorities opened the borders for yacht charters allowing charter guests to enter the country without any quarantine requirements. Yachts can cruise freely and we are ready to welcome all Blue Cruise lovers on board!  She has Greek and Croatian Charter License and available for charters in Greece and Croatia. She is also available in Turkey by special terms. Please ask for more details.

This magnificent example of a traditional Gulet is a 115-foot luxury charter sailing yacht on which no detail is overlooked. Inside, she is spacious, elegant and tranquil, with tasteful classic décor amid superbly crafted, polished timber paneling, perfectly presented, and professionally crewed for your luxury charter. Now with complimentary Guide in Croatia.

As you’d expect from a 36m gulet, there is ample deck space with a large seating/lounge area, lots of comfort zones with cushions and sun beds, spacious interiors including a large saloon equipped with satellite TV, entertainment systems, and of course a wide range of water toys. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins; two master, one double, and two twin  cabins (twin cabins can also be converted to doubles). She will be chartering the beautiful Croatian coasts during the mid & high season and will be available for charters in Turkey for the rest of the season.

Accommodation for 10 people in five air-conditioned cabins consists of two huge master cabins with king-size beds, two cabins each with twin beds and the fifth cabin with a queen-size bed. All staterooms have large, luxurious ensuites.
