A Summary of Motor Yacht AVANGARD II

The motor yacht AVANGARD II is a 50 m 164 (foot) generous steel ship which was created at Avangard Yachts (Ex Heliyachts International ) and her design plans were devised by Mulder Design BV. A capacious full displacement yacht AVANGARD II is a particularily clevery designed Croatia made yacht which was launched to celebration in 2007. The yacht is a recent full displacement yacht. The gracious motor yacht was created by the naval architecture of Mulder Design B.V.. Lazzarini & Pickering acted on her interior design brief.

Avangard Yachts are based in in Croatia and the yard used to be called HeliYachts. Mulder Design's general brief description of the yacht: "This 50 metre yacht a full displacement motoryacht, focused on outdoor entertainment. The yacht carries a 40 ft Sunseeker, a ski-boat, water jets and wave runner. For transportation to the shore she carries a Eurocopter 130B4, which can be stored in a hangar on the wheelhouse deck."

The Building & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht AVANGARD II

Mulder Design BV was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel composition for AVANGARD II. Her interior design was realised by Lazzarini & Pickering. Mulder Design BV is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. Created at Avangard Yachts (Ex Heliyachts International ) the yacht was completed within Croatia. She was successfully launched in Pula in 2007 before being transferred to the owner. The hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made largely from aluminium. With a beam of 9.6 m / 31.5 feet AVANGARD II has fairly large size. A deep draught of 3.5m (11.6ft) affects the amount of overall marinas she can visit, taking into account their individual depth at low tide.

M/Y AVANGARD II Engines & Range & Speed:

Powered by twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, AVANGARD II is able to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots. Coupled to the AVANGARD II engines are twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 8000 miles when motoring at her cruising speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3300 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3300. With respect to bow thruster maneuverability she was built with Quantum. For stabalisers she was built with Quantum Zero Speed.

In Sept 2009 AVANGARD II traveled to Villefranche-sur-Mer, in France. AVANGARD II also navigated the cruising ground near Département des Alpes-Maritimes during the month of Sept 2009. The Amaryllis being towed past the former mansion of Henry Flagler, built in 1902 By John Jannarone and Alan Hatfield The 257’ superyacht Amaryllis apparently owned by exiled Russian oligarch Andrey Borodin was towed past Palm Beach, FL on Friday morning, according to a visual account by CorpGov . The yacht, whose owner is frequently cited as Mr. Borodin by enthusiast publications, moved slowly through the Lake Worth lagoon where bridges were raised for its passage. A towboat with flashing lights about 150 feet ahead pulled the Amaryllis , built by German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen in 2011. While CorpGov could not officially confirm Mr. Borodin as the owner of the vessel, his wife, socialite Tatiana Korsakova, has posted dozens of Instagram photos and videos aboard the Amaryllis. A yacht broker interviewed by CorpGov confirmed that Ms. Korsakova is indeed aboard the Amaryllis in the photos and videos.
