The Cyrus One is a 112.53ft/34.3-meter superyacht built in 2008 by Cyrus Yachts. Rene Van Der Velden is the designer responsible for both her exterior and interior design, and the vessel was named ‘Best Semi-Displacement Motor Yacht’ at the World Superyacht Awards.

Cyrus One sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 rooms, made up of a master suite and 4 double cabins, and she can carry up to 5 crew on board comfortably.

Luxury comes as standard on the Cyrus One, and you’ll find air conditioning, Wi-Fi connection, and a whole host of amenities to make your experience truly memorable and enjoyable. In terms of the interior, Wenge and Anigre woods with floating stainless steel inlay accents bring an element of sophistication to the vessel, and charming lighting adds a modern effect to this classic yacht.

There’s a relaxed feel to the Cyrus One, and a number of entertainment and leisure facilities make this the perfect choice for spending time with family or friends. The Cyrus One is capable of long-range cruising with very low fuel consumption, and is built with GRP/Epoxy hull and GRP/Epoxy superstructure. This semi-custom Cyrus 34 semi-displacement yacht provides a smooth cruising experience, largely thanks to the modern stabilization system that reduces the roll motion effect even at rough seas or at anchor.

With a cruising speed of 13 knots, and a maximum speed of 24 knots, the Cyrus One has a 2,875nm range from 19,000litre fuel tanks.

While a functional and economical superyacht, the Cyrus One provides a charming, charismatic and smooth cruising experience you’re sure to remember.

A call to George Hapipis at A1 Yacht Trade Consortium brings news of a €250,000 reduction in the price of his central listing, the 34.3m motor yacht Cyrus One .

The first of the 34 metre range from the Cyrus yard in 2008, Cyrus One has an exterior styled by Rene Van Der Velden who also designed the interior accommodating eight guests in a master, VIP and two twin cabins. This superyacht was built to RINA class and cruises at 18 knots, with a top speed of 24 knots. Cyrus One is a custom-built pedigree yacht providing long-range cruising with an amazingly low fuel consumption and is now asking €7.25 million.

BROKER COMMENTS

BLISS II is a beautiful custom-built 75’ performance sloop with beautiful lines designed by Beiderbeck Designs,  composite built by Cyrus Yachts in Turkey, and structural engineering by Gurit.  The owner specified the yacht so that she would be suitable for short-handed sailing by an owner/driver, or a family/couple with a powerful performance rig and assisted by all furling sails, self-tacking jib, powerful bow and stern thruster for easy docking even with stronger side winds, lifting keel etc. With her Magic Trim cylinders and the self-tacking jib it is possible to sail down to 140° without touching a line as all push button sailing. She has a clean deck layout with a very nice, protected cockpit seating area and two steering positions aft. There is a tender garage aft and opening stern hatch with bathing platform.  

BLISS II has a spacious interior layout with a full beam raised deck salon midships with panoramic views and large hull windows entering lots of natural light. The salon area features comfortable seating areas to port and starboard port side, and a fully equipped galley forward inside the salon area. She offers accommodation for 6 guests in 3 cabins + single crew cabin. The interior surfaces are finished in white and creme color with laminated wood tops, a lot of natural light is coming into the cabins through integrated hull windows and flush deck hatches with Oceanair blinds fitted on the inside.

BLISS II is built for blue water cruising with all necessary equipment and systems on board, her first and present owner had the yacht custom-built to his requirements and specified for owner/driver use. The owner has done a rigorous maintenance schedule and upgrades to the yacht to keep her in absolute mint condition, this winter period the rig was un-stepped for a full rig check and miscellaneous service work. A full overview of the maintenance and service history can be provided upon request.

BLISS II has a fractional sloop rig with Hall Spars carbon mast and furler-boom, hydraulic furlers for the headsail and Code 0 and, additionally, a removable staysail furler. All deck equipment and hydraulic winches are Lewmar. The yacht is fitted with a hydraulic lifting keel (up 2.7m – down 4.3m) and Side Power hydraulic bow and stern thruster to maneuver in small berth spaces.

Raised deck saloon with large windows and panoramic views, lots of natural light entrance and large side windows laminated into the hull.

Headroom approx. 2.10m in the deck salon, owner and guest cabins.

Solimar carbon flush mounted deck hatches.

All deck hatches fitted on the inside with Oceanair blinds and fly screens.

MAIN SALON:

Midships full beam with comfortable seating areas to port and starboard side. The starboard seating has a table which can be adjusted in height and converts into a lounge area. There is a forward facing navigation table and a wet locker at the main companionway to starboard side.

Inside the deck salon, forward of the seating area on portside, is the U-shaped and fully equipped galley with cooker/oven, fridges, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.  

MASTER CABIN:

Owner’s cabin forward with centerline double bed, en-suite head and shower stall. There is a small settee to starboard, wardrobes and lockers for storage. There are four integrated hull windows.    

GUEST CABINS:

Two guest cabins aft of the saloon. Each cabin has two single beds and en-suite head with shower stall. Each guest cabin has 1 integrated hull window.

Crew cabin with single bed forward of the deck salon to starboard side.

Lazarette/storage aft for the tender and tender crane with access through large deck hatches.

Specialist military divers are currently searching the sunken Bayesian yacht for clues as to why it sunk in a freak storm off the coast of Siciliy, killing seven passengers.

British tech tycoon Mike Lynch’s boat had been moored near the port of Porticello on 19 August when it sank during the early hours of the morning, and is now lying 50 metres below the surface of the water.

About six divers from the Italian navy ’s Comsubin unit are investigating the superyacht for electronic equipment, which includes data storage and CCTV and to see if doors were left open during the storm.

A source close to the investigation told The Times : “The investigating magistrate has asked Comsubin to investigate so he can check statements made by the crew of the yacht.”

Three crew members including the yacht’s captain are under investigation, with plans being discussed to raise the yacht from the ocean bed to assist enquiries.

Sources close to New Zealander James Cutfield, 51, the captain , told the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera that is living through the darkest days of his life.

Among those killed were Mr Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, who had been due to begin studying at Oxford University in September, as well as four other family friends and associates.

Jonathan Bloomer, the international chairman of Morgan Stanley Bank; his wife Judith, a psychotherapist; Christopher Morvillo, a US lawyer; and his wife Neda, a jewellery designer also died in the sinking.

Also killed was the yacht’s chef, Recaldo Thomas, whose body was recovered floating near the wreckage.

According to the authorities, efforts to raise the yacht will be made by the vessel’s owner, UK company Revton, which is controlled by Mr Lynch’s widow Angela Bacares.

They have reportedly employed the Genoa-based diving company Drafinsub to use sonar and a submersble robot to examine the yacht to discover the best plan to raise it.

It is likely to take two to three days to complete, with 18,000 litres of fuel having to be syphoned from the yacht’s tanks in order to avoid any spillage.
