A General Description of Motor Yacht LIMITLESS

From the Lurssen Yachts yacht builder in Germany the LIMITLESS is 96 m 316 (ft) in length. Christened by 1997 her interior decoration showcases the realisations of Tim Heywood / Francois Catroux. Superyacht LIMITLESS is able to accommodate up to 10 people with 20 professional crew. She is able to reach a maximum speed of 25 knots.

Motor yacht LIMITLESS was built for Les Wexner, an American businessman who gained his success from being the chairman and CEO of the Limited Brands corporation best known for its brand Victoria's Secret. LIMITLESS has several unique features including an F-16 joystick control at her helm, a "dolphin cam" in her bow, and lights encompassing her waterline. Wexner reportedly considers the interior his private domain and will not release photos to the media.

Construction & Design of Luxury Yacht LIMITLESS

Lurssen was the naval architect involved in the professional vessel composition for LIMITLESS. Also the company Lurssen and Bannenberg Designs Ltd successfully worked on this venture. Interior designer Tim Heywood / Francois Catroux was commissioned for the overall interior ambience. Germany is the country that Lurssen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 1997 in Bremen she was afterwards delivered on to the proud new owner following sea trials and testing. The core hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated mostly using aluminium. With a width of 12.41 metres or 40.7 ft LIMITLESS has beamy internal space. A reasonably deep draught of 4.39m (14.4ft) selects the number of certain harbours she can enter, depending on their individual characteristics. She had refit improvement and alteration work completed in 2004.

Engineering And The Crusie Speed That M/Y LIMITLESS is Able To Achieve:

The 3616 DITA engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by CATERPILLAR. LIMITLESS is propelled by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship creates 7265 horse power (or LIMITLESS kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The total power for the boat is therefore 19890 HP or 14636 KW. With respect to stabalisers she uses Flume Tank.

Providing volume for a maximum of 10 visiting passengers staying on board, the LIMITLESS accommodates them comfortably. The boat carries approximately 20 professional crew members to maintain and sail.

‘Limitless is a 100ft motor yacht built by Hargrave in Taiwan, Province of China at their Koahsiung shipyard.

She was delivered to her owner in 2005 and last refitted in 2014. Previously named Katina, her impressive interior has been designed by Shelley Dicondina.

Limitless’s interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests overnight in 4 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 1 pullman bed. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Each cabin is well appointed and offers the ideal place to rest after a long day of exploration. The designers have chosen furnishings that bring style and comfort, while the overall finish will also exceed expectation.

You’ll find an array of leisure and entertainment facilities onboard, making her ideal for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s lots of space for enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine and working on your tan.

Limitless has a maximum speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 20 knots. With her 12,112 litres fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 576 nautical miles at 18 knots. Her water tanks store around 2,271 litres of fresh water.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A Jacuzzi on deck is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking scenery after a long day of exploration.

Wi-Fi connection is available throughout, so you’ll be able to stay connected while you’re away, great for business, checking emails or sharing your experience on social media.

Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the hottest of days or nights.

The following experiences are a selection of some of the most desired cruise locations throughout these tranquil waters--from the vibrant shores of Nassau and Paradise Island to the remote cays of the Exumas.

Nassau + Paradise Island Atlantis

Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas and is known for its beaches and offshore coral reefs which are popular for diving and snorkeling. Atlantis, one of the most luxurious oceanside resorts in the world, is located nearby on the lush Paradise Island. Enjoy the resort’s massive water park, casinos, aquarium, shopping, and more

Dubbed the “gateway” to the Exumas, we’ll dock at the marina and cruise on the tender to the turquoise waters and sandbars of Allens Cay. In addition to plentiful swimming areas, you can get up close and personal with wild iguanas and snorkel with schools of fish that team along the reefs. Continue to the north side of Highborne to a protected bay perfect for water sports and snorkeling. Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the east side of Highborne to catch dolphin, wahoo, and tuna roam. 

Experience the famous Mangrove Run at high tide, followed by a climb at Camp Driftwood, which offers spectacular views over Exuma Sound. Some may recognize this hill as where the D.E.A. set up cameras to spy on Normans Island. Secluded beaches here make for great swimming while the lagoon is an unforgettable private setting. Adventurous guests can experience a “washing machine” snorkel ride.

Normans Cay

Nicknamed Drug island in the 1970s, this is where we will snorkel the famous Carlos Lehder’s sunken DC-3 aircraft and view thousands of fish swimming throughout the wreckage. We’ll then explore the shallow lagoon and tour the famous Cocaine Cave and Conch cave. 

A Secret Sandbar

South of Normans Cay lies a secluded, secret location where Limitless is typically the only yacht anchored. At low tide, a mile-long sandbar is exposed that guests can access via the tenders and water toys. This area is perfect for a private picnic as well. Several yards away is a private island owned by a high-profile movie star. 

Sea Aquarium

Nearby the secret sandbar is a beautiful coral reef with thousands of fish and another sunken plane wreck which is often surrounded by large fish. This is a great area to take the tenders and toys to snorkel the famous caves at Rocky Dundas. Best experienced during low tide, guests can swim through and see the sunshine through the tops of the caves. 

Sampson Cay

Sampson Cay is home to some of the most memorable and unique experiences in the Exumas. Thunderball Cave is located here, which was made famous during the filming of the James Bond movie “Thunderball”.  Follow a snorkel experience in the cave at slack tide with some relaxation on the sandbar at pipe creek and Rum punches at the nearby Staniel Cay Yacht Club. A trip here wouldn’t be complete without a visit with the famous swimming pigs at Big Majors, followed by an afternoon full of jet skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and relaxing on the beautiful beaches.  

Compass Cay

Just a short tender ride from Sampson Cay is Compass Cay where you can pet and feed the nurse sharks who live in the shallow waters of the rustic marina. The opposite side of the cay is home to a beautiful crescent beach, an ideal spot for water toys, and a picnic lunch. 

Leaf Cay- Our Very Own Private Island

Experience first hand the unique history of this private island as it was previously owned by a famous Ex –CIA Counter-Intelligence Officer.  Spend the afternoon aboard water tours along the private West Beach followed by a beach barbecue by our tiki bar. 

Warderick Wells 

Home to the Exumas Land & Sea Park, here you can view a Whale Skeleton on the beach, hike up the bluff to Boo Boo Hill, and experience the famous Blow Holes. Warderick Wells is also home to beautiful sandbars, beaches, as well as excellent snorkeling. For experienced snorkelers, we travel to Jeep Reef and view a large tropical coral reef, with thousand of fish, and large coral formations.   

Harbour Island

Moore at Valentine’s Marina and head inland to experience the island, home to the famous Pink Sands Beach.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht LIMITLESS is a 101 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. LIMITLESS spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was constructed by the ship builder Hargrave in 2010. A well-done refit was finalized in 2021. The spacious yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

LIMITLESS is classified as a superyacht. The roomy aft deck is right next to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space to spend time when the aft deck might not be as desirable (at port, private conversations) and serves as a location of entertainment. 4 elegant cabins are purposefully laid out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

He has since held a variety of positions on board including first mate and bosun (on AMARULA SUN, ALLEGRIA and JAZZ) before moving on to Captain roles. Waldo has experience working on both private and charter vessels, carrying with him extensive knowledge of yachts. One of his many skills includes videography and he has put this to good use by using drones and go pros to film the guest experience, creating timeless videos. Waldo has also managed a refurbishment and detailing company that polished and painted boats and delivered them to clients. He is service-oriented and always aims to implement and provide a successful and exceptional yachting experience for both guests and crew. Kris Nils Holm - Chef Education/Certifications: STCW 95, ENG 1, B1B2 Languages: English, Swedish, Conversational in French and German Nationality: Swedish Chef Kris is a sharp and colorful chef with vast experience in cooking and provisioning onboard superyachts. He has spent the last 15 years working solo on 50m+ charter vessels doing dual seasons in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. In his role as a charter chef, he has accumulated comprehensive knowledge in most cuisines such as French, Italian, Scandinavian, Russian, Indian, Japanese, English, American, Dutch, German, Iranian, and Arabic. He also works comfortably with diets such as keto, LCHF, Paleo, low carb, Mediterranean, 5:2, vegan, raw, and vegetarian. Over the years Chef Kris has built up an impressive network of suppliers, producers, farmers and fishermen to be able to offer guests locally sourced, high end produce that will satisfy their gastronomic desires. Chef believes that food is an experience and with extensive knowledge in wine, he works seamlessly with the head of service to shape that special moment for all guests that come on board. He has spent the last 15 years working solo on 50m+ charter vessels doing dual seasons in the Caribbean and Mediterranean. <br /> <br /> In his role as a charter chef, he has accumulated comprehensive knowledge in most cuisines such as French, Italian, Scandinavian, Russian, Indian, Japanese, English, American, Dutch, German, Iranian, and Arabic. He also works comfortably with diets such as keto, LCHF, Paleo, low carb, Mediterranean, 5:2, vegan, raw, and vegetarian. <br /> <br /> Over the years Chef Kris has built up an impressive network of suppliers, producers, farmers and fishermen to be able to offer guests locally sourced, high end produce that will satisfy their gastronomic desires. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Built in 2019, Limitless offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins.

Performance & Range

Limitless is built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure. Powered by 3 x Volvo Penta engines, she comfortably cruises at 30 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 36 knots. Her low draft of 1.69m/5'7" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.

Limitless has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. If that isn't enough Limitless also features inflatable water toys and snorkelling equipment.
