We bought our Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20 from Mr. Wade. No problems at all! After the purchase he worked on our boat correcting a few things. And adding things that we wanted. Very positive experiance, I would recommend Cross Water Yacht Sales to anyone.

Tim is a great guy and he knows what he is doing. He sold my boat in only about a month and took care of everything. When the buyers ran into an engine issue, Tim, being a mechanic as well, was able to quickly fix the problem. Having a broker who is also a mechanic is a big win. Very knowledgeable guy and makes things happen. He knows the market well and knows what your boat is worth and helps get everything you can out of it.

The two star rating is due to the fact that they took slightly less than their normal commission on the sale and they said they started the boat up while I was away. Otherwise this would have been a one star review. - Zero communication in the approx. 7 months it took to sell it. I had to initiate every time. -Drove from CA to Seattle to make the sale happen and he told me we couldn't move forward without specific documentation that I thought I had on the boat. After the 13 hour drive, I turned over the boat and couldn't find it. Went to my storage 20 minutes away and went through every box and every document I had (Looked for ~2 hours). Received a text that said, "Where are you?" I said, "Looking for the documentation." His reply? "Oh, I grabbed that a few hours ago." SMH -After this time suck, I went to his office to sign paperwork and he started complaining (rudely) that he's been there since 7 or 8 in the morning (it was about 7pm). I had been up and driving since about 4am, so my empathy was certainly waning. I quickly realized he was drunk, so I held my tongue, finished what I had to do, and got out of there. My friend and I had many items to give to the buyer and he just sat staring with his cocktail and cigar while we put them in his office. -After this debacle, we had to deal with the bank. I had signed over Power of Attorney, so he should have been able to expedite this. He fumbled through this process and I ended up having to contact the bank myself. He couldn't figure out who to talk to, and I ended up setting up the payoff and having the deal expedited. -Lastly, I was given a closing statement that said I was to receive about $98. A couple weeks went by and I asked him about this sum. His response was, "You've eaten it up and besides that I gave you a deal on the commission so let's just call it even." No explanation on the "eaten it up" and even though I appreciated the slight lowering of the commission percentage, it was not what we agreed on.

I'm an out-of-the area buyer, but have a brother local to the this dealer. I called, negotiated a deal, and had my brother contact him the next day as promised to deliver a deposit and arrange payment and pick up. Tim at Cross Water Yacht sales sold the boat out from under me anyway. I'm still in the market for a boat and may well still buy one in the Seattle area, but it won't be from Cross Water. His respose was, "This is a business not friends and family".
