On the whole Harbour Ridge is a picturesque setting, with beautiful pink, orange and yellow flowers in addition to other striking foliage. The Lakeside building has nice tables outside where one can eat lunch. The dining room staff, from myriad countries such as South Africa and Ireland is wonderful. The food is good, with delectable cracker assortment on the table to start. Dinner, even during the COVID period, is easily accessible for pick up or at Lakeside, though vegetarian options, other than salads, are scarce. As is the case in the majority of restaurants in the US, there seems to be little to no concern for the extensive use of plastic in take out and snack bar meals. There is recycling pick up in each village, but not sure if the club (& dining room) recycles at all. The infinity pool is lovely, inviting, with gushing massage spouts and lanes for laps. (In the summer though, the pool runs quite hot, even at 7 or 8 pm.) With luxury rest rooms. pro shop and sauna, the fitness Center, is well-outfitted, but nonetheless is difficult to get into if you are not a club member. (even if your family is a member/resident of the club) Takes lots of phone calls and other hoops to jump through to pay to go the gym even once. There seems to be a slight suspicion of anyone who is not a member here, even if they arrived well before the COVID break out. Additionally, Roundup (and other toxic pesticides) are used regularly. I witnessed workers, with backpacks of huge jugs of fungicide on their backs, dumping gallons of blue chemical liquid into the pond. Harbour Ridge is a National Audubon sited bird sanctuary, but I wonder how the birds can survive? And indeed, they seem to be scarcer here than they used to be, with usually only one Anhinga or White Ibis seen around the entire perimeter of the long pond (1/4 mile?) behind our village.

Harbour Ridge has an exceptional standard of service, ambience and quality . Their staff is professional and genuinely friendly. The food is rich with cohesive and delicious dishes in the courses. We came with children which can be tricky in a place like this but the staff was so attentive it seemed easy. The food leaves one with the impression of an experience as well as a wonderful meal.

So nice that it can save even the most doomed wedding. Last night we went to a wedding here. It was a mess. The DJ was unable to keep the wedding on track or get people to dance. The cake was too small for everyone to have a decent sized piece. There was family drama and people had no idea how to dress with two women showing up in all white, one woman showing up in a see through dress, and men looking like pirates. But the wedding came out well regardless because this place was wonderful. The view was fantastic. It looks out at the river with perfect landscaping and floor to ceiling windows. The hors d'oeuvres were amazing. I fell in love with the crab cakes. I am convinced they used fresh crab instead of canned because it was so fresh and sweet. The venue was sophisticated and elegant. Dinner was good though less so than the appetizers. I had the short rib which was moist and tender but tasted more like a good pot roast than a short rib. This is especially true because they removed the bones which takes away much of the rich flavor and short rib character. But it was still tasty for catered food. The bar was well stocked and generous. And the service was exceptional. The only drawback to the place is that the dj station was placed in a position that made it hard to hear outside at the wedding and to hear clearly in the hall area because a wall blocked the sound. Also they were painting the outside so the railings near where they had the wedding smelled like paint. And finally, the chairs that they had for the ceremony were plastic, flimsy, ugly, and uncomfortable. That said, if you go in with these things in mind, you can fix all of them with good planning. As a result this place isn't perfect but is very very very nice. I would recommend this place for a wedding. Just remember to get the BEST DJ that you can because the DJ really makes or breaks the wedding as it almost did last night.

The tennis program is designed and managed by Peter Burwash International, the world’s leading tennis management company.

Under the direction of Fabio Vansconcellos, Harbour Ridge has an active tennis program, excellent instructors and offers both friendly, team and inter-club competition.

In addition to Fabio, the teaching staff includes Simone Vasconcellos, the  U.S. No. 1 female player in the 50 & up category, and Sophie Tazzioli. The Pro Shop is fully stocked. If you are looking for a real tennis challenge, Harbour Ridge is home to several ranked players.

Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club added six pickleball courts in 2021 and a new passion was born. The courts are active all day and in the evening, too.

Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club is a boater’s delight. Located along two miles of the mile-and-a-half-wide, north fork of the St. Lucie River, community residents have direct access to the Atlantic Ocean, the Inter-Coastal Waterway and the Locks leading to Lake Okeechobee and Florida’s West Coast.

There are 98 boat slips located in three sections–south dock, center docks and north dock–which accommodate boats and yachts of all sizes to more than 60 feet in length. Slips are for rent or lease.
