Annual White Marlin Open:

The White Marlin Open is the world's largest fishing tournament founded in 1974 and has been a major highlights of the summer season in Ocean City Maryland. This fishing event takes place in August every year and with prize money exceeding $1 million, it attracts more than 300 anglers every year. The event is exciting for the spectators as well as they root for their favourite angler and then attend the weigh-in of the day's catches in the evening. The weigh-in is open to the public and thousands cram into Harbour Island Marina for a chance to see a million dollar fish raised at the scale.

Annual Marlin Club Canyon Kick-Off:

The Ocean City Mdrlin Club Canyon Kick-Off, held each year on or around the Fourth of July weekend, is the first significant event of the season for the Marlin Club each year. This is a 2 of 3 day event. While it is open to all anglers, entry for the tournament is free to OCMC Boat Members. This is an offshore event with prizes for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Billfish Releases. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second and third place in the heaviest fish division. The weigh-in are the major crowd pullers as thousands cheer while the cash prizes change hands at the tip of a scale.

Annual MSSA Tuna-Ment:

The Maryland Saltwater Sports fishing Association holds the official offshore Annual Tuna-Ment Tournament benefiting the MSSA and their mission to protect the rights of sport fishermen, and enhance the fisheries' resources. As the name suggests, tuna is the targeted game for this event and more than 50 boats participate every year. The Tuna-ment is known for its laid back attitude and convenience with 4 Mid-Atlantic weigh stations – Indian River, Sunset Marina in West, Ocean City and Chincoteague. Dolphins are also allowed in special categories and there are additional skill levels for tuna and dolphin.

Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin:

The Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament is the "Super Bowl" of fishing because of the way winner's feel after capturing the event. Hundreds of anglers participate, representing the best marlin fishermen in the world. Though the prize money of almost a million dollars is tempting, that is not the main reason why anglers from all of the world participate – they participate for the bragging rights that comes with a Big Rock victory. For the last 16 years, the competition has topped $1 million and continues to grow with increased sponsorship and participation.

Blown away by the food quality, taste, atmosphere, and service. There is nothing left to say other than this is THE best restaurant in all of OC. Nothing missed. MAINS. Hummus was as delish as you'd expect. Warm and fresh pita continuously refilled with olive dressing. Grilled halloumi made me salivate as I was eating it. The table's favorite were the red lentil bulgar bites, refreshing and fresh I would have given 5 stars for this plate alone. The menti dumplings were beautifully prepared in a yogurt sauce you'll want to drink through a straw. And the roasted eggplant was perfectly cooked with just the right punch of flavor. THAT'S NOT ALL. The drinks were delicious and complimented the food. Our favorite was the sparrow, basically a pineapple dreamsicle with rum. The Turkish coffee was a perfect pairing with the dessert. Kunefe - imagine a gourmet mozzarella stick as a dessert - a must try. SERVICE AND AMBIANCE. Our waitress was great. She was just being herself, vibing with us and the restaurant. A team was constantly clearing plates, refilling drinks, and bringing out other food. The interior itself is open and gorgeous. Halfway through our meal there was also a belly dancer performing around the room?! I'm staying in OC two more weeks and am planning at least three other trips here. Well worth the money for this experience.

Called ahead and found there was no wait after hearing back from another spot so we had an impromptu change of plans! They were able to accommodate a large group of us and even move us around when we sat under a chilly vent without any fuss. Service was really excellent, straightforward, and prompt. The setting has a very intimate, trendy vibe while the menu items remain affordable, accommodating, and exciting! We had a variety of different dishes including hummus, cheese pide, lamb chops, and lahmacun. The pide and lahmachn are a bit like pizzas, making them very easily shareable, though the bread crust was a little flatter and the rice a little less flavorful than we'd prefer from other Mediterranean spots we love. Even so, the Turkish tea, hummus, and bread for the table was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the lamb chops and the free turkish delights that arrived with the bill! A photographer greeted us and offered to take our photo for a free postcard (and paid photo package you can opt into) so now we have a picture of the memory. Great spot!

Saw this brand new restaurant as we were passing by the other night and had to make a plan to check them out since anything Mediterranean and Meze is priority. The experience tonight did not disappoint. Service by our waitress, Tugba Y was excellent. She explained anything we had questions about on the menu and was so pleasant. The interior is beautiful with a nice bar area, tables all around and pleasant authentic music playing. The menu has something for everyone and is well suited for groups to share dishes as the purpose of Meze. Little expensive but well worth it for quality and authentic cuisine. We ordered a couple smaller dishes as we weren't terribly hungry but left stuffed. We ordered Dolmades, Sitara Boregi, Baby wing Kebap and Manti, the latter 2 being the largest & most filling plates. All dishes were EXCELLENT and beautiful presentation! I wish I had a bigger appetite as there were many items i wanted to try, so we'll be back.

The food here was incredible! By far the best dining experience I had in the Ocean City area. Every dish tasted delicious. My only complaint was that I wish the roasted cauliflower had a little more flavor or marinade like a lemony acid flavor to go against the tahini for a fuller flavor profile. My steak was delicious and well cooked, even had the lentil soup and it was the best I've had in a long while. The pita breads were also very warm and had an almost sweet taste to them. Another plus was that the menu was labeled with the items that were Gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. That by itself was the reason why I chose to eat here on my last night in Ocean City, it was the perfect dining experience to end my family vacation! Will definitely return to dine here when I visit Ocean City again.

The atmosphere is gorgeous. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We also loved the Creme Brulee for dessert! It was perfect!

Service was fine. Food was mediocre at best. If you've never had Turkish or med cuisine you may find it suitable. I have had much better and it wasn't that it didn't match up to previous meals elsewhere. I got lamb chops. Unfortunately they give you 6 chops but buy into 2 bone each so 3 on plate but double bones. They can't cook them properly like that. I would have preferred they split them. Rice was flavor less and lukewarm. We also had the kofte, again not much flavor. The salad was fine the sigar was over priced for what it is but tasted fine.

As you can see, it's not medium it's raw and fat is liquid gold, it's hard as a rock and can't be chewed.

Beautiful place, awesome service and the food was AMAZING!! My families favorite meal while we were in OC. We had the lunch special only $17 for a three coarse meal. We each got one and was able to sample a ton of stuff!

Beautiful place, very well appointed and an interesting concept for sure. Be aware that it is a small plates menu, and order accordingly. Food was nicely prepared although a bit bland for Mediterranean, perhaps that was the Turkish influence, never been there. It is a really nice experience and not something you would expect in a beach town.

Ate here on a tip that it was good and so glad we did! We had the $17.99 lunch special (see below pic). The baba ghanoush was amazing...so flavorful! The hummus was tasty too and the bread was warm and yummy. The lamb and chicken kabob (both with rice) were very good! Service was amazing, Tuva was very nice, attentive and answered all our questions. Best wishes to her as she pursues her education! We'll definitely be back in the future.
