Chicken fried lobster with mashed potatoes and gravy and sauteed spinach is worth the stay at the Horseshoe Bay Resort! BBQ ... Octopus is best octopus dish I've had in a very long time! Read more

Really disappointed! We were guests of the resort and had a reservation (and yes it was made late). We were seated right off ... the main entry in a side room that was more a hallway with tables than a room. LOTS of foot traffic. Our server was obviouslynot a fluent English speaker. She couldn't answer our questions about the menu, and didn't seem to understand that we bothordered an entree with sides..which came out as an app course. We didn't know that bread/butter was included, since that alsoarrived with the 'apps'. All of that and the food just wasn't that good. Two loaded potatoes were cold, and my fishundercooked. Paid way to much for mediocrity. And to top off the night, was told the shuttle runs every 10 minutes. Maitre d'said he would call, and we also tried to call after waiting (no answer). Had to walk back the the hotel in the dark. Read more

We were there for a family reunion and it was fantastic! I loved the view! The food was absolutely amazing! (The sausage had a ... little extra kick to it!) But the staff? They were beyond top notch! They were courteous and friendly, perfectly balancingbeing around when you needed something, yet never hovering or intruding. I cannot say enough good things about them. Welcome to Geographe Bay Yacht Club

Situated in Busselton in the south west of Western Australia, the Geographe Bay Yacht Club overlooks the vast expanse of sheltered water from which the club takes it's name.

It commands a superlative vantage point on the long stretch of sand for which Geographe Bay is renowned, and is only a short distance from the town centre. From the modern Clubhouse, you can take in the whole bay from Capel to Cape Naturaliste, including the famous 1.8 km Busselton Jetty.

Geographe Bay is an ideal body of water for sailing and has been the focal point of sailing in the South West for over 50 years, hosting large numbers of boats in regular club events and various State and National Titles. 

In addition, Geographe Bay Race Week is held during the month of February and has boasted entries of up to 120 boats.  GBRW 2025 is scheduled to run from Saturday 15th Feb to Friday 21st Feb.  

Geographe Bay Yacht Club boasts a featured article "Club in Focus" which appears on the Australian Sailing website in 2020.
