Yacktman Asset Management is an Austin, Texas-based investment firm with a focus on value equity investing.
We employ an objective, patient, and diligent investment approach and seek to achieve superior investment returns over a full market cycle.
Our firm is owned by its partners including Chief Investment Officer Stephen Yacktman, Portfolio Managers Jason Subotky, Adam Sues and Russell Wilkins, President Molly Pieroni, General Counsel John O’Neill, Chief Financial Officer Keith Thatcher, founder Don Yacktman, and majority owner Affiliated Managers Group, Inc.
Yacktman Asset Management is an affiliate of Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (“AMG”), a publicly traded global asset management company with equity investments in leading boutique investment management firms, including Yacktman. AMG’s equity interest is structured so that Yacktman maintains operational autonomy. AMG does not have any role in the day-to-day management of Yacktman. AMG Affiliates, including Yacktman, operate autonomously and independently of AMG and of each other.
Management Committee
Yacktman’s senior management takes an active role overseeing risk management across the firm primarily via its Management Committee. The members of this committee represent senior leadership and support by participating on the Operations Committee, Compliance Committee, Trading Committee, and Investment Committee.
Senior Management
Keith thatcher, cpa.
Mr. Thatcher is Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Yacktman Asset Management. Prior to joining the Firm in 2013, Keith worked at Bridgepoint Consulting LLC, where he was a CFO-level consultant for various companies. Previous to that he held senior finance and accounting roles at Financial Industries Corporation, Concero, Tanisys Technology, and Kinetic Concepts. Keith began his career with KPMG. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University.
John O’Neill
Mr. O’Neill is a Partner and General Counsel of Yacktman Asset Management. He joined the firm in 2022, after working previously at ACA Compliance Group, Affiliated Managers Group, Inc., and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. O’Neill also practiced litigation in Boston for several years. Mr. O’Neill received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
Krista Infante
Krista Infante is Chief Compliance Officer of Yacktman Asset Management. Prior to joining Yacktman, Krista was a Compliance Officer for JP Morgan and JP Morgan Chase in Columbus, Ohio. In addition, she has a variety of state finance experience including investment operations and contract compliance for the State Treasurer of Ohio. She holds a B.S. from Cedarville University and holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP) designation.
