Variety of Cabins on MSC Euribia

Aboard MSC Euribia, guests have a selection of accommodation options spread across various classes and cabin grades, designed to cater to a range of preferences and budgets:

Bella Class : Positioned as the most economical option, Bella cabins offer a comfortable and basic stay, with access to essential amenities. This class is ideal for those looking to enjoy a cruise experience at a more affordable price point.

Fantastica Class : An upgrade from Bella, Fantastica cabins are located in more preferable ship areas and offer additional benefits. These include priority booking for dinner times and complimentary room service. This class is tailored for guests who value convenience and a bit more comfort in their stay.

Aurea Class : Providing a more premium experience, the Aurea cabins are situated in prime locations with superior views and include enhanced amenities. Guests in this class enjoy perks like an all-inclusive drinks package, private deck access, and inclusive spa treatments, appealing to those seeking relaxation and pampering.

MSC Yacht Club : The pinnacle of luxury on board, the MSC Yacht Club offers an exclusive ‘ship within a ship’ experience. MSC Euribia Inside Cabin - MSC Cruises

Detailed Reviews of Stateroom & Suite Categories

Deluxe interior cabins.

The inside cabins aboard MSC Euribia offer a blend of practicality and comfort, designed to accommodate guests who prefer an interior room option. These cabins are well-suited for those who enjoy spending more time exploring the ship’s amenities or who simply use their room as a place to rest and recharge.

Deluxe Interior Cabins in Bella and Fantastica Classes : Both Bella and Fantastica classes provide standard inside cabins that measure 182 square feet. This size is notably generous when compared to the industry average of approximately 167 square feet, offering more room for guests to move around and settle in comfortably. The practical design of these cabins ensures efficient use of space, with ample storage solutions such as wardrobes, drawers, and space under the bed to stow luggage. The décor is modern and uncluttered, contributing to a sense of spaciousness.

The primary difference between the Bella and Fantastica cabins lies not in their size or layout but rather in the location and benefits associated with each booking category. Fantastica cabins are generally located on higher decks or in more preferable areas of the ship, and they offer additional amenities such as priority dining reservations and free room service, enhancing the overall guest experience.

MSC Yacht Club Interior Cabins : The MSC Yacht Club Interior suites, also measuring 182 square feet, mirror the dimensions of the standard inside cabins but differ significantly in terms of service and amenities. These cabins are part of MSC’s “ship within a ship” concept, which provides an exclusive and luxurious experience. Guests staying in these cabins enjoy access to the MSC Yacht Club’s private areas, including the Top Sail Lounge, Yacht Club Sundeck and MSC Yacht Club Restaurant. The level of service is elevated, with butler service available to attend to guests’ needs. The interior design of these cabins is more upscale, featuring high-end finishes and a richer colour palette, which adds to the premium feel.

Although the physical space in the Yacht Club interior cabins is the same as that in the Bella and Fantastica classes, the inclusion of luxury amenities and exclusive access areas make the Yacht Club a distinctly more opulent choice. This option is ideal for guests who wish for an enhanced stay aboard MSC Euribia without the need for a window or balcony but with all the privileges of high-tier accommodation.

Overall Comfort and Practicality : Inside cabins on MSC Euribia are thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort and functionality. Despite the lack of natural light, the cabins are equipped with effective lighting systems that create a welcoming atmosphere. The bedding is of high quality, ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom, though compact, is efficiently laid out with a shower featuring a glass door, toilet, and adequate storage for toiletries – and is a lot more modern and pleasing on the eye than many cabin bathrooms found on older cruise ships.

In summary, whether opting for a Bella or Fantastica inside cabin or indulging in the MSC Yacht Club, guests will find the inside cabins aboard MSC Euribia to be surprisingly spacious compared to the industry standard. The thoughtful design, ample storage, and comfortable furnishings make these cabins a practical and enjoyable choice for many travellers.

Studio Interior Cabins

The Studio Interior cabins aboard MSC Euribia provide a compact yet efficiently designed space, tailored specifically for solo travellers. Measuring just 129 square feet, these cabins are smaller than the standard inside cabins, but they cleverly utilise space to ensure functionality without compromising comfort.

Design and Layout : Despite their modest size, the Studio Interior cabins are thoughtfully arranged to maximise the use of space. The cabin features a single bed that is comfortably sized and strategically placed to optimise the living area. The décor employs light colours and mirrors to create a sense of openness and brightness, which is particularly important in a space without windows. Clever storage solutions are evident throughout the cabin, including overhead compartments, under-bed storage, and a practical wardrobe. These storage options are sufficient for the luggage and belongings of one person, ensuring that the space remains uncluttered.

Amenities and Comfort : Each Studio Interior cabin is equipped with all the essential amenities required for a comfortable stay. This includes a compact, yet functional bathroom with a shower, toilet, and adequate shelving for toiletries. The cabin also features a flat-screen interactive TV with extra-charge movies on demand, a small desk area, and climate control air conditioning, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their private retreat aboard the ship.

Suitability for Solo Travellers : These cabins are an excellent choice for solo travellers, offering a private and cosy environment without the need for paying a single supplement, which is often a concern for individuals travelling alone. The intimate scale of the cabin ensures that solo guests have a space that feels tailored to their needs, while still providing access to all the ship’s facilities and entertainment.

Overall Experience : For those who plan to spend more time enjoying the ship’s amenities and less time in their cabin, the Studio Interior option is ideal. It provides a comfortable, well-designed base that addresses the needs of solo travellers without unnecessary excess. The thoughtful use of space and provision of essential comforts make these cabins a smart and economical choice for those exploring alone.

MSC Euribia Deluxe Ocean View - MSC Cruises

Ocean View Cabins

The Ocean View cabins offer guests the pleasure of a sea view directly from their room, enhancing the cruising experience with the charm of the ocean’s expanse. These cabins come in several types, each with different space allocations and amenities that cater to various preferences and needs. However, it’s important to note that the starting size of these cabins at 129 square feet is notably smaller than the industry average for an outside cabin type, which is around 180 square feet.

Junior Ocean View Cabins : The Junior Ocean View cabins, the most compact of the Ocean View options, offer a practical and no-frills cruising experience. At 129 square feet, these cabins are considerably smaller than the industry average, making them a tight fit for two passengers sharing. Featuring a small window and providing natural light and ocean views, these cabins are designed efficiently to maximise the available space, featuring storage solutions like under-bed storage space and small wardrobes. The space is best suited for solo travellers or couples who spend minimal time in their cabin and prioritise affordability with a view. However, it’s advisable to pack light!

Deluxe Ocean View Cabins : Stepping up in size, the Deluxe Ocean View cabins offer more room to move and additional storage. At 172 square feet, these cabins provide a more comfortable setting for two people, featuring slightly more expansive wardrobe space and sitting area beside the window. This type is suitable for couples or solo travellers who desire a bit more room and comfort, yet still value a moderate price point with the benefit of ocean views. The bathroom is as large and as practicable in terms of features as what guests receive in balcony cabins.

Premium Ocean View Cabins : The Premium Ocean View cabins are the largest and most practicable of the ocean view options aboard MSC Euribia. At 269 square feet, these cabins are significantly more spacious and are well-equipped with extensive storage facilities, including larger wardrobes and ample drawer space. The additional square footage allows for a more relaxed seating area by the window, making these cabins an excellent choice for guests who may spend more time relaxing in their cabin, or for those travelling with a child or in a small group. Capable of sleeping up to 6 passengers through use of the sofa bed, pullmans and single beds provided, the size and comfort level of the Premium Ocean View cabins make it ideal for families on longer cruises.

Recommendations for Each Type of Cruiser :

  • Junior Ocean View Cabins : Best for budget-conscious solo travellers or couples who do not require much space and are out and about enjoying the ship’s facilities.
  • Deluxe Ocean View Cabins : Ideal for those who want a balance between cost and comfort, suitable for couples or solo travellers looking for a bit more room to breathe.
  • Premium Ocean View Cabins : Perfect for cruisers who appreciate spacious accommodation, possibly families with small children, or those on longer journeys where the comfort of a larger space will enhance the experience.

Deluxe Balcony Cabins

MSC Euribia offers a range of balcony cabin options, with the Deluxe Balcony Cabins providing an appealing mix of comfort, practicality, and additional amenities. These cabins offer a personal outdoor space to enjoy the sea breeze and views, enhancing the cruise experience significantly. Here’s a detailed review of the different types of Deluxe Balcony Cabins, covering their layout, amenities, and suitability for different types of cruisers.

Studio Balcony Cabin : The Studio Balcony Cabin is designed specifically for solo travellers. It maximizes its 129 square feet of interior space efficiently to provide comfort without feeling cramped. The key feature is the 43 square foot balcony, which adds a generous extension to the living area. However, it’s important to note that these cabins do not include a traditional bed but instead use a sofa bed that converts into a sleeping area at night, made up by your cabin steward. This arrangement might not suit everyone, especially those who prefer a permanent bed setup. The practicalities of the cabin include standard storage options like under-sofa storage and a compact wardrobe. This cabin is ideal for solo travellers who value privacy and their own outdoor space.

Deluxe Balcony Cabin : The Deluxe Balcony Cabin offers a more spacious interior at 182 square feet, which is below the industry average of 197 square feet for balcony cabins, but still provides adequate room for a comfortable stay. These cabins come equipped with a full-size bed, a sitting area, and a decent amount of storage including wardrobes and drawers. The 43 square foot balcony includes seating, perfect for enjoying morning coffees or evening sunsets. These cabins are available in both Bella and Fantastica classes, with the latter offering additional benefits such as better deck placement and priority booking for dining and shows. These cabins are suitable for couples or solo travellers seeking more space and comfort.

Aurea Deluxe Balcony Cabin : The Aurea Deluxe Balcony Cabin, while similar in interior size to the standard Deluxe, boasts a larger balcony of 64 square feet. This extra outdoor space makes the cabin feel significantly more luxurious and provides more room to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. Guests staying in Aurea cabins benefit from premium amenities and privileges, including complimentary use of the MSC Aurea Spa, free room service, and access to the Top19 Sundeck. This type of cabin is perfect for those who wish to indulge in additional luxuries and enjoy a more pampered cruising experience.

Additional Amenities : All types of Deluxe Balcony Cabins on MSC Euribia are equipped with interactive TVs offering extra charge movies on demand, enhancing in-room entertainment options. The bathrooms in these cabins are efficiently designed with shower facilities which include a glass door over a cheap shower curtain found on many other cruise ships, storage space for toiletries, and modern fixtures.

MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite - Sail Away Magazine

MSC Yacht Club Suites

MSC Euribia’s Yacht Club Suites offer the pinnacle of luxury and exclusivity aboard, with several suite types that go beyond the Yacht Club Interior suites. These suites are designed to provide a blend of spacious comfort, practicality, and high-end amenities, making them ideal for those seeking an upgraded cruise experience aboard MSC Euribia.

Yacht Club Deluxe Suite : The Yacht Club Deluxe Suite provides ample interior space and a generous balcony, making it an excellent choice for guests who appreciate both indoor and outdoor space. At 312 square feet, the suite’s living area is comfortably appointed with elegant furniture, including a seating area and a large, plush bed. The 150 square foot balcony offers private outdoor relaxation with chairs and a small table, although some may feature loungers and a dining area. The suite includes significant storage options, such as a walk-in wardrobe near the bathroom, ensuring ample space for personal belongings. The bathroom is luxurious and well-appointed with high-quality fixtures, a spacious shower walk-in rainfall shower, and solid marble basin area

MSC Yacht Club Duplex Suite with Whirlpool : The Duplex Suite is a two-level suite that features distinct living and sleeping areas, spread over 400 square feet of indoor space. This type of suite is particularly unique, with the lower level typically housing a lounge and dining area, and the upper level dedicated to the bedroom and a lavish bathroom. The suite’s 245 square feet balcony is a standout feature, equipped with a private whirlpool, offering ultimate relaxation and spectacular views. The storage solutions in this suite are extensive, accommodating longer stays with ease. The bathroom is especially luxurious, often featuring upscale amenities such as dual sinks and a high-end shower system.

Yacht Club Royal Suite : The Yacht Club Royal Suite is the epitome of luxury on MSC Euribia. At 700 square feet, this suite offers expansive living quarters that include a large bedroom, a separate living room, and an opulent dining area. The suite’s design and furnishings exude elegance and comfort. The 430 square feet balcony is exceptionally spacious, furnished with loungers, a dining area, and a private hot tub. Storage space in the Royal Suite is abundant, with multiple wardrobes and plenty of drawers. The bathroom mirrors the suite’s luxury with premium fixtures, a large bathtub, and a separate, oversized shower, providing a spa-like experience.

Additional Amenities and Perks with Yacht Club : Guests staying in any of the Yacht Club suites including MSC Yacht Club Interior’s benefit from a range of exclusive amenities and perks. These include access to the Yacht Club private areas such as a dedicated restaurant, lounge, and sun deck. Personal butler service, 24-hour concierge, and priority boarding are standard, adding to the exclusivity. Complimentary access to the MSC Aurea Spa’s thermal area, unlimited drinks, and a private shopping experience with the onboard boutiques enhance the luxurious feel of the cruise.

Is MSC Yacht Club Worth The Money?

MSC Yacht Club aboard MSC Euribia undoubtedly offers a superior cruise experience, standing out as a significantly more luxurious option compared to the ship’s lower grades. With exclusive access to private areas such as the Yacht Club restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, and Yacht Club Sundeck, as well as perks like butler service and a dedicated concierge, MSC Yacht Club encapsulates a distinctive ‘ship within a ship’ concept that elevates the cruising experience. No question!

However, when compared to the elite offerings of Celebrity’s Retreat and Cunard’s Queens Grill, MSC Yacht Club does not quite reach the same heights of luxury. These comparisons highlight a few areas where MSC Yacht Club could enhance its services. For instance, the Retreat and Queens Grill provide ultra-premium experiences including finer culinary offerings and exceptional service that cater to the discerning cruiser.

That said, it’s important to note that both the Retreat and Queens Grill command a premium far exceeding what MSC Cruises charges for its Yacht Club experience. Considering the price differential, MSC Yacht Club delivers considerable value by offering many elements of a luxury cruise at a more accessible price point.

To bridge the gap in luxury standards, a few enhancements could be introduced within the Yacht Club. Adding touches such as complimentary Champagne on arrival would create a more celebratory and welcoming first impression. Upgrading the culinary experience with more premium dishes in the MSC Yacht Club restaurant could also reflect a higher standard of dining. In the suites, the inclusion of luxury toiletries would elevate the personal care experience, while offering a daily afternoon tea service could add an extra layer of refinement and relaxation to the day.

In conclusion, while MSC Yacht Club offers an excellent upscale cruising option with significant value, implementing these enhancements could help it compete more robustly with the luxurious offerings of its higher-priced competitors. With these added luxuries, MSC Yacht Club would not only enhance its appeal but could truly stand out as a fantastic choice for those seeking a more refined and indulgent cruise experience.

Highlight: Best Accommodation Option for Families

For families considering a cruise on MSC Euribia, selecting the right accommodation plays a crucial role in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Among the various cabin types, the Premium Ocean View Cabin stands out as an excellent option, particularly for families looking for a balance of space, comfort, and scenic views. Here’s a detailed review and recommendation on why the Premium Ocean View Cabin is highly recommendable for family stays.

Size and Layout : Sleeping up to 6 passengers, the Premium Ocean View Cabin on MSC Euribia offers a generous 269 square feet of space. This is substantially larger than standard ocean view or inside cabins, providing families with ample room to relax without feeling cramped. The extra space is particularly beneficial for families with children, as it allows for separate sleeping areas and gives children room to play indoors. The layout is thoughtfully designed to maximise the use of space, incorporating areas for storage, sleeping, and leisure.

View and Light : One of the most appealing features of the Premium Ocean View Cabin is the large window that bathes the room in natural light and offers expansive views of the ocean. This can significantly enhance the cruising experience, providing a serene backdrop and a constant connection to the sea. The view not only entertains but also helps to create a more spacious feel within the cabin.

Comfort and Amenities : Equipped with high-quality furnishings and a larger bathroom than most other cabins, the Premium Ocean View Cabin offers a higher level of comfort. The bathroom is especially important for families, as it typically features enhanced amenities and more room, which can make the daily routines much smoother and less hectic. The cabin also includes premium bedding and a choice of pillows, ensuring a good night’s sleep for all family members.

Storage Space : Adequate storage is essential when travelling with family, and the Premium Ocean View Cabin excels in this aspect. It offers extensive wardrobe space, multiple drawers, and additional storage options. This allows families to keep their belongings organized and easily accessible, reducing clutter and stress during the cruise.

Value for Money : While larger and more equipped than standard cabins, the Premium Ocean View Cabin is often more affordable than suites. This makes it a value-for-money option for families who need extra space and comfort but are also mindful of their budget. The cabin provides many of the benefits of higher-tier accommodations, such as a scenic view and ample space, without the premium price tag of a suite.

Conclusion : For families sailing on MSC Euribia, the Premium Ocean View Cabin offers a compelling mix of space, comfort, and value. Its thoughtful layout, ample amenities, and stunning ocean views make it an ideal choice for families seeking a comfortable base during their cruise. With the added benefits of natural light and extensive storage, it stands out as the best cabin option for those travelling with children or extended family, promising a more relaxed and enjoyable cruising experience.

Tips for Choosing the Best Stateroom or Suite

1. Establish Your Budget: Firstly, determine how much you are willing to spend. MSC Euribia offers a range from economical Inside Cabins to the more luxurious MSC Yacht Club suites. Knowing your budget will help you filter your options effectively, allowing you to balance cost with comfort.

2. Consider the Cabin Location: The location of your cabin can greatly affect your onboard experience. If you are sensitive to motion, opt for a cabin located midship and on a lower deck as these areas tend to feel less movement. For convenience, choosing a cabin near key amenities like elevators, pools, or dining areas might be beneficial, although it’s wise to avoid areas that are prone to high noise levels, such as below the Lido Deck or near night-time entertainment venues.

3. View Priorities: Decide if having a view is important to you. If you enjoy ocean vistas, a Balcony Cabin or an Ocean View Cabin might be perfect. Conversely, if you prefer to save money for other onboard experiences, an Inside Cabin provides a cost-effective solution without the benefits of natural light or views.

4. Space Requirements: Consider how much space you’ll need. This is particularly important if you’re travelling with family or on a longer voyage. Suites on MSC Euribia offer more living space and additional perks, which can make extended stays more comfortable. The Family Suites or the Aurea Suites provide ample space and come with added benefits that can enhance your stay.

5. Importance of a Balcony: If having a private outdoor space is crucial for you, evaluate the balcony sizes across different cabin categories. While Balcony Cabins offer a good balance of price and amenity, the suites often feature larger balconies that allow for private sunbathing or outdoor dining.

6. Evaluate Amenities and Perks: Different cabin categories on MSC Euribia come with varying levels of amenities and perks. For example, booking within the MSC Yacht Club not only provides luxurious suite accommodation but also exclusive access to private areas, dedicated service, and all-inclusive dining. Consider what amenities are most important to you and whether they justify the extra expense.

7. Review the Deck Plans: Before making your booking, spend some time reviewing the deck plans available on MSC Cruises’ website. This will give you a clearer idea of each cabin’s location relative to the ship’s facilities and help ensure you choose a cabin that meets your needs for accessibility and convenience.

8. Read Reviews and Consult Experts: Look up reviews from past guests who have stayed in the type of cabin you’re considering on MSC Euribia. Their insights can provide practical advice and help set realistic expectations. Additionally, consulting with a travel agent who specialises in cruises can be invaluable—they can offer personalised advice and might secure you a better deal or an upgrade.

By taking into account these factors, you can make a well-informed decision and choose a cabin on MSC Euribia that will significantly enhance your cruising experience, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout your journey.

Aboard MSC Euribia, the range of cabins and suites caters to a variety of preferences and budgets, each designed to enhance the cruising experience in its own unique way. From the economical Inside Cabins to the more opulent MSC Yacht Club suites, passengers can choose accommodations that best fit their needs, desires and budgets.

For those who can afford it, an upgrade to the MSC Yacht Club is highly recommended. While it may not be flawless, it undeniably provides a superior cruise experience. The Yacht Club offers exclusivity and luxury, with access to private areas such as the Yacht Club restaurant, lounge, and sun deck. This ‘ship within a ship’ concept significantly enhances comfort and convenience, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling crowds and queues found elsewhere on the ship. The addition of personalised butler service and all-inclusive benefits adds to the allure, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a more refined and secluded cruise experience.

For passengers for whom the MSC Yacht Club might stretch the budget too far, MSC Aurea offers a commendable middle ground. Aurea guests enjoy perks such as a dedicated dining room, complimentary access to the MSC Aurea Spa, and exclusive use of the Top 19 Sundeck. These features provide a taste of luxury and additional privacy at a more accessible price point, making it an attractive option for those looking to enhance their cruise experience without the premium cost of the Yacht Club.

In summary, while each cabin category on MSC Euribia has its merits, upgrading to the MSC Yacht Club if your budget allows is advisable for a truly elevated cruising experience. For those looking for a step up from standard cabin options without the expense of the Yacht Club, the Aurea experience offers a delightful balance of comfort, exclusivity, and value, ensuring that every passenger can find their perfect match aboard MSC Euribia.

Korolyov, Moscow Oblast

Korolyov or Korolev is an industrial city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, well known as the cradle of Soviet and Russian space exploration. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 183,402, the largest as a science city. As of 2018, the population is more than 222,000 people. It was known as Kaliningrad from 1938 to 1996 and served as the leading Soviet center for production of anti-tank and air-defense guns. In 1946, in the aftermath of World War II, the artillery plant was reconstructed for production of rockets, launch vehicles, and spacecraft, under the guidance of Russian scientist and academician Sergei Korolev, who envisioned, consolidated and guided the activities of many people in the Soviet space-exploration program. The plant later became known as the RKK Energia; when the Vostok space vehicle was being developed, this research center was designated as NII-88 or POB 989.
