There isn’t a better way to visit Croatia and experience each of the islands than traveling on Dalmatino. The boat was stunning. The boat crew had the best service I have ever experienced. This trip will be very hard to top. We were directed to the best experiences on each island, food was absolutely delicious and beautiful at the same time. I would highly recommend this yacht and staff to anyone who has the opportunity to travel to Croatia!

I would give a six star as a vacation spot and a 100% satisfying rate. The staff was so helpful and so so nice. Food was over the top in presentation, variety and was delicious. The Captain chose just a perfect route through the islands, the right amount of village time as play time. I would do this trip every year on Dalmatino!

Keke made sure I always had milk with dessert before even asking and kept us all in a good mood. To the chef who gave us a personal tour of the bars so we could experience the true culture. Rocco despite us leasing hi min the beginning made sure to act professional as always. Stipe on our day to the market gave us the submarine tunnel. Last but not leats, the Captain who ensure no matter the weather there was always a plan for fun in place. Overall, I wish I couls stay with you forever and I have never had such a wonderful time. I have no words to explain the marvelous adventure we have sailed with Captain Tom. It has been the upmost pleasure to embark in this journey around the Adriatic Sea with such a wonderful crew. Ivana is super attentive and dedicated to fulfilling the needs of all my fellow travelers who have stepped aboard Captain Tom’s deck. The sights seen could never be converged in the slightest. The sea was magical. The food was amazing. Everyday was a delight to my mouth. We cannot wait to come back next year. Thank you to the entire crew.

Carefree and a wonderful cruise down the Adriatic Mastercharter was the best Croatian travel agency I have dealt with in the last ten years. Ivana, Mirna and Mate are devout professionals who will tender to your every need. Ask a question and you will get an answer momentarily, if one of them is busy one of the others will respond. No detail is overlooked and everything is done to your satisfaction. They stay true to their motto which says “Everything is possible for one who believes”.

I wanted to charter a gulet for a family cruise and for my particular needs they suggested the Altair which turned out to be the perfect choice. The name Altair is derived from the bright star, aka Alpha Aquilae, which shines as the brightest star in the constellation Aquila the Eagle. It describes this gullet perfectly; it is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The crew is a family run affair; Captain Dare is a capable sailor and a wonderful host. His Dad Duje is a fantastic cook and a Captain in his own right and Dare’s sister Luce (Lucy) is a wonderful hostess and a do everything gal who will attend to your every need. Also there is Lovro, a very capable sailor who makes sure that the boat is securely tied, he will help you with all the heavy lifting, will provide you with the swimming toys once you are in the water and will watch over you while you swim.

The cruise down the Jadran (Adriatic Sea) was absolutely fantastic. We were in and out of secluded coves for swimming in the crystal clear water during the day and visited famous towns like Hvar, Korčula, Polače, Ston and others in the evening. It was a perfect combination of rest, relaxation and sightseeing.

I would like to take this opportnity to thank the crew once more for making me and my family feel like we were a part of their family and for providing us with a carefree, restfull, exciting and wonderfull experience. Special thanks goes out to my new friend Duje Junior (Dare’s son) who made our trip that much more enjoyable, this is from his new friend Brankec.

We had the Best time in Corsario, aside from the amaizing places and smooth ride, the crew was so warm, dedicated and helpfull. Romanca – 18.06.-25.06.2022

Global Rating: 5/5 (Excellent)

We travel often and far, and we have been around the world and had amazing experiences. But our vacation on the Romanca, chartered via MasterCharter, was truly unrivaled! Airline travel these days can be beyond hectic, and our vacation seemed to get off to the wrong start when the airline lost our luggage. Ivana (Mastercharter) and Andrea (owner of the Romanca) arranged a speedboat to take a passenger to get medication that had gone missing with the bags and PERSONALLY tracked our luggage down and had it hand-delivered to the boat as we were eating breakfast under sail. Additionally, a member of our party had a bicycle accident, and Marin (Romanca’s captain) was on location in minutes with the town’s doctor and sat with us through the process of going to the hospital and getting a few stitches, then offered to buy the injured person an ice cream, (because everyone knows when you get stitches, you get an ice cream). Despite our two mishaps, all 15 of our party fell madly in love with Croatia, the Adriatic, MasterCharter, and most specifically the Romanca and its crew. The Romanca is by far the prettiest wooden gullet on the Adriatic; you cannot help but share the pride of her crew as she sails into port. You can tie her up next to the largest, newest ship in any marina, and know you are the one privileged enough to call the Romanca home. Valentina and Mario knew everyone by name on the first morning and never forgot our food or drink preferences — my latte was being made before I could sit at the Romanca’s massive table. Victor is a world class chef and a true artist who goes out of his way to please everyone. He woke up in the middle of the night to feed the three of us who waited for the doctor to finish his work on our patient, and we got a beautiful steak with rice and salad, totally unexpected and above and beyond. Ivan, the first mate, went out with several of our younger “sailors” (as per our request) when they wanted to go to a club at midnight. He watched over us and protected us like family, even at the sacrifice of his night’s sleep. And Marin navigated us through it all, recommending phenomonal wineries, restaurants, and excursions on the islands. I’m not prone to write reviews, or be loquacious, but for this trip, I must! These people are so special and amazing; they find a magical way of outshining the scenery. That said, Croatia and her islands are not to be missed, their beauty is unparalleled and the experience is unmatched. Do yourself a favor, spend a week on the Romanca… just don’t book the weeks we want, we will be back!

IT IS HARD IN LIFE TO BE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO EVER BE ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO BE ABLE TO VACATION ON A BOAT SUCH AS ANIMA MARIS. HOWEVER, IT IS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE THAT EXCEEDS ALL OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS.THIS TRIP WAS BEYOND WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. WE HOPED IT WOULD BE THIS WONDERFUL, BUT TO HAVE EACH DAY BE BETTER THAN THE DAY BEFORE HAS TRULY BEEN A DELIGHT. THE BOAT OF COURSE IS A WORK OF ART,A MIX OF MODERN YET STILL ROMANTIC. THE CABINS ARE SO SPACIOUS AND THE BATHROOMS AS WELL.NOVAK’S COOKING WAS SPECTACULAR AS WELL AS ALEXANDER. ANYTHING WE WANTED DELIVERED WHICH AS WE ALL KNOW IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. SONIA KEPT OUR CABINS AND LAUNDRY IMPECCABLE AND THE REST OF THE CREW WAS WITH US ON DECK TIME WE NEEDED ANYTHING AT ALL. THE LOADED THE WATER TOY INTO THE SEA EVERYDAY SO OUR KIDS COULD RIDE THE SEABOB FROM MORNING TILL NIGHT. THEY WATCHED CAREFULLY AS THEY FLIPPED OFF THE TOP DECK IN TO THE WATER. CAPTAIN MARIO ALWAYS FOUND US THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAYS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, PICKED THE BEST CREW. THEN WE CAME TO VICTORIA WHO ALL DAY, EVERYDAY MADE SURE WE HAD ANY DRINK OR SNACK WE WANTED. LASTLY IVAN, WITHOUT HIM, SETTING THE STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE AND SERVICE, NOTHING WOULD HAVE COME TOGETHER. THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU FOR MAKING THIS UNFORGETTABLE.

Captain Luka was very professional and helpful, his brother Damir and the chef were excellent too. I think the Steward, Ivor was a bit out of his depth as he was really a deck hand that had stood in for a Stewardess from what we learned, and whilst he tried hard, my only recommendation would be that an experienced stewardess would have added polish to the whole drinking and dining experience.

FREEDOM yacht charter was built in 2019 and since then, she has made countless guests fondly remember the time they spent on this wonderful yacht and the unique atmosphere of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

Her first refit came just in time for her to be ready for the 2022 summer season, with numerous amenities added to her already avid collection of yacht facilities, including an onboard spa centre, a yacht cinema, which doubles as a game room for kids and a fully equipped yacht gym.

The dining room located on the upper deck has enough room to accommodate all guests in a well-appointed and air-conditioned interior. The architecture of the superstructure allows for wide and full-sized windows, which will surely elevate the atmosphere during meals in the upper deck salon, regardless of it being day or night.

Because she was built specifically for cruising in the Croatian Adriatic sea, you will have no problems at all relaxing on her decks, enjoying her amenities or sleeping tight in her wonderfully appointed cabins, because of her sturdiness and stability, both at anchor and underway.

She can take on a maximum of 23 guests, accommodating them in 11 cabins, scattered across three decks of this glorious yacht charter.

YACHT MAIN DECK

Since 1995 we have been working in yacht charter business and offer sailing boat rental in Croatia . We mostly work with high-quality sailing boats provided by our sister company Beneteau Croatia . In addition to yacht charter in Croatia , we also operate one of the oldest and best sailing school in Croatia where we provide sailing courses to “new” as well as to experienced sailors.

Our company philosophy is to provide our clients with the best possible service  when they charter a yacht for a sailing holiday in Croatia . Our team consists mainly of very experienced sailors, securing the highest possible standard in the whole process with arranging/planning, booking, arrival at one of our charter bases in Croatia and final departure from the Marina for an unforgettable sailing adventure in Croatia.

As already mentioned, our yacht charter fleet consists mainly of sailing boats from Beneteau. In our fleet we have boats from 30 feet to about   64 feet and in terms of berths our boats offer space for 6-12 persons. All boats are carefully maintained by our technical team and the colleagues from Beneteau Croatia . As a charter client you can expect to board a charter boat in super condition.

Well, what is the wording – no rule without an exception ! Actually, we at Ultra Sailing also have Catamarans for charter ; the catamarans are of the brand Fountaine Pajot . If you rather want to rent a motorboat , mega yacht or other types of vessel our experienced booking team can of course assist you in finding vessels of those types.

From which charter bases in Croatia can the Ultra Sailing boats be rented?  Ultra has branch offices and staff in ACI Marina Split , ACI Marina Dubrovnik , Marina Baotic (Trogir) ,    ACI Marina Pomer in Pula and Marina Kastela . Charter boats have to be returned in the same Marina they were rented in. Upon request and payment of additional fee it is possible to arrange one way charter from Trogir/Split to Dubrovnik or vice versa . 

Charter price  depends on a number of factors, size and type of charter boat, duration of rental and date of the charter . At Ultra we offer various discount programs like early booking Yachtcharter   or last minute sailing if you are flexible it is possible to enjoy a week sailing holiday in Croatia at a bargain price.

If you are looking to charter a sailing boat in Croatia for the first time, you of course need to be aware of the formal requirements for chartering a yacht in Croatia , no need to say that a license for operating the vessel is required. Additionally, sailing and navigation skills should be on an adequate level. Yacht Delphinus is a beautiful, privately owned 50 foot blue water sailing yacht designed by the highly regarded and successful designer of racing and cruising yachts, Bruce Farr.

The majority of yachts  this size  offered for charter are configured with up to 5 cabins to accommodate 10 persons on board.  Some are even advertised to accommodate as many as 12 persons with two being required to sleep in the saloon!

Stress free and flexibility

The itinerary for your cruise onboard Yacht Delphinus is flexible to suit how you like to spend your time on holiday and to maximise your enjoyment. It can be tailored to the number of actual sailing miles you wish to log each day, time spent sightseeing, swimming in the warm crystal clear water, learning the ropes, brushing up on RYA navigation theory, honing your boat handling skills and mooring techniques or just lazy days afloat reading a book on deck whilst soaking up the sun with a cold drink in hand as we hop between the stunning Islands and Dalmatian coastline. As always however, weather conditions can sometimes dictate the day. Here is a sample itinerary for guests arriving early or mid morning.

Meet and greet at the airport. A short drive to Cavtat for a leg stretch around this picturesque harbour followed by a curtesy drive up to the top of Mount Srd to take in the spectacular view of Dubrovnik 'Old Town' and lunch, or just a drink (not included in the charter fee), in the cliff top 'Panorama Restaurant'. (www.nautikarestaurants.com/panorama-restaurant-bar/) Or perhaps you would prefer to head straight back to Delphinus just a 30 minute drive from the airport to relax onboard after an early start to your day. Either way, complimentary welcome drinks and snacks will be available whilst you familiarise yourself with Yacht Delphinus and we run through the 'obligatory' safety briefing. For guests keen to 'Get Going ASAP', we can slip lines and sail off to a nearby Island to anchor offshore or pick up one of the taverna mooring buoys for the evening. Those wishing to catch their breath may prefer to just chill out onboard Delphinus on her private mooring whilst enjoying complimentary drinks for the afternoon. Take a wander down to one of the local restaurants for supper or head into Dubrovnik Old Town for a 'must do' site seeing visit of this stunning UNESCO World Heritage site.

Lokrum and Sipan

A short sail round to Dubrovnik Old Town to get your sea legs and take in the view of this breath taking fortification from seaward. Anchor for lunch off the nearby island of Lokrum. Swim or tender ashore to explore this charming little Island. Afternoon sail to the Island of Sipan. Anchor and take the tender ashore for supper or perhaps enjoy the Skippers' BBQ onboard.

Ston and Mljet

Sail to the little town of Ston on the Peljesac peninsular, famous for its salt pans and oyster farms, sight see the town and 'walk the wall' for those feeling energetic. The view from the top is worth the effort! Afternoon sail over to the island of Mljet to overnight in one of the many picturesque harbours.

Sail up along the coast of Mljet to Polace or Pomena on its most Western tip. From there, take a taxi or hire electric bicycles to visit the beautiful national park and enjoy a lakeside picnic lunch. Perhaps the Skippers BBQ on board at anchor in the evening or moor up outside one of the local Tavernas for supper.

Sail over to the Island of Korcula to experience the beautiful old walled town of Korcula itself, often referred to as 'Little Dubrovnik, and firmly believed by Croatians to be the birth place of Marco Polo.

Sail back to the Island of Mljet and down its coastline to overnight in the beautiful harbour of Sobra or Okuklje as we make our way back to Dubrovnik.

On our sail back to Dubrovnik, anchor for lunch in one of the numerous secluded bays on route and enjoy one last swim in the clear water before tying Delphinus back up on her home mooring. Late afternoon / early evening 'must do' site seeing visit of Dubrovnik Old Town if not already done so on day of arrival.

  Hi Rob That was a holiday to remember - good weather, good sailing, great places to see, excellent food both on board and ashore. We all enjoyed it - the swimming, sailing and paddle boarding and the variety. Delphinus is a beautiful and very comfortable boat, generously sized for 4 passengers and one skipper, deceptively fast in a light wind, and very capable of battling against the wind with the motor, if needed. Most of all we benefitted from your deep knowledge of the area - the attractive little bay, an ideal stop for a swim and lunch; thank goodness for an electric anchor winch! And your guidance to the best local restaurant. We did not just enjoy the magnificent scenery at sea level, but explored several historic sites and cities which meant walking up and down steep paths and ancient steps getting a taste of the lives of the population over the centuries.   Rob is a relaxed and engaging host, quietly very competent and in full command of a well appointed and plentifully stocked boat. Our mixed ability crew was tested appropriately, with new skills absorbed.   From the moment Rob collected us from the airport to the complimentary return transfer we were treated to five star service all the way. Zadar is a coastal city which owes its growth to its people and its surroundings. The advantage of having a small airport makes it easier to arrive there and quickly hop on board of your sailing boat in Croatia . Zadar offers almost same number of boats as Split, the marinas are modern and the biggest marina on the east side of the Adriatic is here. What we said about Sibenik also applies to Zadar, with numerous islands just in 20 NM range everything is reachable so enjoy your sailing around Zadar. Zadar is the perfect starting point, if you want to see the islands which are in North Dalmatia. Here you will find one of the prettiest bays called Saharun Bay on the island of Dugi Otok. You can reach the Kornati National Park from the upper side and for you to charter a sailing yacht here, means you can easily cover the SE route towards Sibenik or you can set your course to see the islands of Rab, Krk, Cres, Mali Losinj and lots of small islands in the area. If you have enough time, stay here for two weeks and leisurely sail up to Istria and come back to Zadar after the charter is finished. If you sail through each Croatian sailing area at a time, after five years you might think you have covered everything. We have been sailing for more than fifteen years and still can’t decide which part is our favorite. Every sailing area has its advantages for a certain period of the year. Gastronomically saying, the North and the South are very different and not to mention Istria and Kvarner.   Greetins to the sun and the sea organ in Zadar is a must!

The sailing area around Sibenik is simply beautiful. Most people have heard that South Dalmatia is the best sailing area. Well, we disagree! We think that all the sailing areas are special in their own way. What we like here is the density of small islands in comparison to the southern route, on the southern route there are seven big islands and around Sibenik you have a large number of smaller ones, which are not densely inhabited. What we are trying to say here is that in the summer there are not so many sailing yachts out here, you can still find anchorage in the evening and not worry about the place for staying over the night. The islands of Zlarin, Krapanj, Prvic, Kapri and the vicinity of the Kornati National park are a big advantage of this sailing area. The almost completely bare islands of Kornati stretch themselves for 25NM with many bays and anchorages, if you want to have peace and no WiFi signal for a day or two. All in all, this is our favorite starting point from mid-July to mid-August. Another advantage of Sibenik is the vicinity of one more National Park, Krka NP. To go there you have to sail through a canyon and go a bit inland, change the saltwater for the mix of salt and sweet water, which allows locals to farm mussels along the way to Krka. Our tip is to stop by on one of the places there in the canyon and buy a couple of kilograms to prepare a dish called Buzara. If you have a skipper or a hostess on board they can make it for you. The last stop on your way there is Skradin. It is hard to describe it, a small beautiful place which developed into a very important nautical destination due to the NP of Krka, but not only because of that, it has a unique vibe and energy that you feel immediately when you sail in. The whole approach by boat is spectacular, so when you arrive there you feel amazing.  If you are flying to Croatia, then we will make sure to arrange your transfer to Sibenik, either from Split or Zadar airport. The marina is only a couple of minutes away from the city.  We didn’t write here much about the city of Sibenik itself, but trust us when we say that it’s an amazing coastal town, it has three city fortresses and an UNESCO church heritage. Worthwhile to visit!

“The most wonderful city in the whole wide world”, you will hear that a lot when you come and visit Split. Split has become the melting point and a good starting place for your charter, especially if you want to see the big islands, which are most visited throughout the summer season. Thanks to the Split airport, or should we say Trogir airport  and many marinas, some of them were built in the last couple years and are situated around the Split area, it is very easy to arrive at your destination and start your sailing trip. From Split, Trogir and Kastela you can set your course. Split is a much frequented place and quite busy during the high season. The peak of summer starts around July 15 th and it lasts until August the 15 th , so bear this in mind since you will find it a bit crowded. The reason for this is that from Split you can reach the islands of Brac, Solta, Hvar and Vis in 2h, depending on which Island you want to go first. Don’t worry you can see them all in 7 days of your  charter and if you wish you can sail around one Island and get to know the little island towns. All of the towns are beautiful in their own way. So just relax and start to enjoy your sailing days and the time on a boat. It’s a unique and memorable vacation and from our experience, you start to enjoy it form the moment you step on board. 7 days seems a lot time, but after a week you will realize how time flies even when you are just simply enjoying the wind, the landscape around you and your good company.  If you have more time s than just a week, take 2 weeks and sail all the way until Dubrovnik and come back to Split. The possibilities are endless. We will make you a route and you can be sure you will see all there is to see in South Dalmatia.

The town of Hvar on the Island of Hvar is the place to be. If you are looking for fun and culture and some more fun, well this will fulfill all of your desires. The Hula-Hula bar and its after beach party with its famous sunset is a really unique place for a beach party. Carpe Diem after beach parties are known worldwide, as well as the culinary offer in this beautiful town. The surroundings of Hvar are what make Hvar a very popular nautical destination. 3 nautical miles from the town of Hvar lays a group of Islands called the Paklinski islands.  The Paklinski islands have their own vibe with their crystal clear bays and a marina on the island of Palmizana, where you can berth the boat. There you can chill during the day and charge your batteries for the upcoming evening filled with new experiences and adventures and still be close to the town of Hvar. The city of Hvar lives practically 24 hours a day, so if you are a party animal, this is the place for you. Plan your visit to Hvar so you can come earlier in the afternoon to see the city by day and after enjoy it during the night. We know you will find your fun there. Let us know how it was! Of course this is not the only town on the island, more laidback towns and very interesting places to visit are Starigrad, Jelsa and Vrboska.  Starigrad is more alternative and a very beautiful since it was the first settlement back in the day when people were starting to populate the Island of Hvar. Jelsa is personally our favorite. With its position and the view of the mountain, it is a beautiful port to sail into. Vrboska is Croatia’s little Venice. Our advice is to put your sails up and sail from place to place and get to know these little towns on the Island of Hvar. Don’t hop from island to island, hop from town to town on and get to know one island better if you have the time.

Marco? Polo? Surely you know this game! Well, it happens to be that the town of Korcula on the island of Korcula is the birth place of Marco Polo, the great sailor, who was hired by the Venetian Republic to discover a quicker way to China. Apart from his house you can see many interesting things in the old town of Korcula that looks like the smaller version of Dubrovnik. People like to say that Korcula is the small Dubrovnik. The town of Korcula is also surrounded by walls and it has the shape of a fish bone with a central square and a gothic church where you can climb up to the church tower and have a 360 degree view of the city an its surroundings. When you sail in to the marina or you decide to place the anchor around one of the dozens of small islands just 1 nautical mile from the town, go and visit the old town and you will enjoy the calm vibe, beautiful venues, old streets, small stone houses and palaces and restaurants. If you’re there on a Thursday, check out the performance called “Moreska”, it’s a traditional sword dance that local people perform, which dates back hundreds of years.   Make sure this island and the town of Korcula is on your itinerary during your sailing trip. It would be a shame to miss it if you are already sailing in that area. The marina is very small and only a limited number of boats can find their berth there. Be sure to arrive a bit earlier in the afternoon so that you don’t have a problem with mooring your yacht. If the marina is over-booked, sail 2-3 nautical miles to the town called Lumbarda, moor your boat and get the taxi to the town of Korcula, it’s a 10 minute drive. Especially during the high season it is very difficult to get a place and the most frequented days in Korcula are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Why? It’s because Korcula is in the middle of the way between Split and Dubrovnik. Both of them are a starting point for charters in Croatia and the boats meet here on those days.

With its beauty and its position, Dubrovnik claims the name “The Pearl of Croatia” and deserves it in every way. Many books were written about Dubrovnik. The history of Dubrovnik when it was still a republic is very rich and interesting.  Nautically Dubrovnik is a very attractive destination, especially if you want to start or end your trip there. One way options allow you to make the most out of your time and sail from Split to Dubrovnik or the other way around. Feel free to send us an inquiry. If your course is NW from Dubrovnik, in a couple of miles you will find yourself surrounded by three islands called the Elafiti islands. The Elafiti islands comprise of the islands of Kolocep , Lopud and Sipan. All three offer unique anchorages and remote places to walk around in the evening and check out their gastronomic offer, it would be perfect, if you have the time to visit them all sailing from one to another and take your time while doing it - easy and relaxed sailing. On the other hand, if you would like to spend your day looking at the old town of Dubrovnik just sail around the stunning walls of Dubrovnik and place your anchor on the SE side just around the Island of Lokrum where you will have the most beautiful view towards Dubrovnik. This view is absolutely one of a kind.

The town of Rovinj is 50 km away from Pula by car. By sea you can get here quite fast, so take the time and spend at least one of your days in Croatia in Rovinj. Rovinj is absolutely worth your attention, especially when you are approaching Rovinj from the sea. It makes a huge difference when you are coming somewhere by car or by boat. That unique feeling of the wind and the waves splashing your boat on your entrance to the local marina, you will have a completely different view on Rovinj. When you get there, please, don’t rush, you have all the time in the world, you’re on vacation. Visit the local market, walk up to the highest point in Rovinj where you will find the beautiful church of St. Eufemija with its stunning murals. Take a seat at the bench or in a cafe and wait for the sunset to come. These are extraordinary experiences and something memorable to take home with you. Every day offers something new and unexpected, get lost in the streets of this coastal town and explore, look up, look left and right when you are walking through Rovinj and you will be amazed what you see. If you have bad weather, don’t worry. Visit the vineries which are not far from Rovinj and offer exquisite wine & dine experiences. The town of Pula has an airport, so that makes it a good place to start your charter week. It is smaller in terms of marinas with a limited selection of boats but with lots of other things to offer. Pula is located in the Isria and Kvarner sailing area, which means you can either sail down south towards the islands of Mali Losinj, Susak, Cres, Unije or you can sail up the peninsula and visit coastal towns like Rovinj, Novigrad, Umag and all the way to Savudrija which is the last town before you enter Slovenia.  Pula has the most preserved amphitheater in this part of Europe. Make sure you get to see the mainland of Istria while you are there. Beautiful medieval small towns will blow your mind, as well as the Brijuni National Park, which was the summer residence of Tito, former president of Yugoslavia when Croatia was still part of that union before 1990. Brijuni is a one of kind place in Croatia. Different animals run all over the island and if you have the desire to play a game of golf, just let us know, we will make arrangements and you can play an 18 hole match with your sailing team. We are sure you won’t regret it, if you cannot exactly decide from which city to start or which sailing area to choose.
